Thugga young hey man what. Is this joe
  • Great App for Discovering New Books 5/5

    By ChickenJoe_
5-Stars because the app works well and it does what it advertises. Also, customer support helped me resolve my hardware issue I was having (not due to their fault). Review: 15 minutes is too short of summary for an entire book, but it gives you a good idea about whether that book is an ideal read for you or not. I think I may prefer a 1-3 hour summary. A 1-3 hour “summary” may be short enough to listen in a day or two during commutes, but long enough to gain a better understanding about the true contents of the book. I switched over to audible because for me, I’d rather listening to a full book for 10 hours, than listen to a 15 minute synopsis.
  • Expensive 1/5

    By john cenas dog
This thing is the most expensive thing or app! It charges you $100! I’ve never seen something this expensive! They don’t even have good books. DONT BUY

  • Excellent 5/5

Now I quickly learn what books I want to read in their entirety.
  • Good concept, but there is no free lunch. 4/5

    By Whyaskifallaretaken
I would be pleased to see a validity of a “Free daily pick” extended beyond 24 hours limit, since it is not always possible to go through it in a particular day. I was mot able at times to finish blinks before these were “locked” in library for premium use only. It would be kind to allow those unable to finish blinks a 1 week time to do so without locking out. Thanks for your work.
  • I like the selections but... 4/5

    By Daxnkvl
I understand this is a business for the originator and I feel they’ve recommended books that I wouldn’t have thought to read. I would hope that I would be able to have a library or at least one of them that I could access the day after it was suggested. It seems this only comes with a subscription.
  • App keeps crashing on iOS 1/5

    By Nelsonvega
Paid for the entire year and I haven’t been able to use it because the app keeps crashing
  • Latest update crashes app - but they fixed it ASAP 4/5

    By davidpson
UPDATE: I’m changing my 2 star to 4 star. I contacted customer support notifying them of my problem and the issue was fixed within 24 hours. They even emailed me apologizing and telling me the issue was on their end. I respect that and appreciate it. ________________________ I really like Blinkist and have used it a lot. But the latest update has caused my app to open and then immediately crash over and over again. I’ve tried uninstalling it and installing it again with the same result. Now I can’t even use the service I have paid for. 👎
  • Love it 5/5

    By allaydesai
Daily reads force me to explore various topics and the audio option is very well narrated.
  • Love Blinkist! 5/5

    By Lilampned
I’ve always been an avid reader, but I’m at a stage in life when I hardly have time to do so. Blinkist is my go-to app for a condensed version of a book but with all of the substance.
  • Big problem 1/5

  • “Money-Back Guarantee” 1/5

    By ztpan89
Blinkist is an okay app for what its function is, but is overpriced and conveniently hides its expensive 1-year subscription price behind the promise of a “free trial” that charges you over $100 once it ends. Blinkist promises you a money back guarantee if you’re unsatisfied with your subscription, but don’t be fooled—accidental 1-year renewals of free trial subscriptions for an app you were intending to uninstall don’t qualify for refunds or as your “money back guarantee”. The design of the app as such is a scam and it’s clear the developers don’t care at all about their users, only about profiting off of taking advantage of them. Don’t waste your time with Blinkist. They don’t care about you and their customer service is disgusting.
  • Blinkist 1/5

    By piersonv
I love the product but the customer service is horrible. My subscription stopped working I believe due to an update. I tried to log back in and was unable. I tried several different attempts to correct including:change password and uninstall re-install. Nothing worked. They have no phone support only email. After emailing Blinkist 8 or more times and receiving 3 or 4 responses (literally emailing back and forth on the same thread) they indicated their belief was the blame was my email service provider blocking emails. This is a very expensive app for this type of service.
  • Be careful! They take your $100 and won’t refund 1/5

    By Scott R H
I thought I’d give this 7 day free period a go and see why it was about. I unfortunately had to leave town and got busy that week and didn’t get a chance to really look into it. I had it scheduled in my diary that day to cancel the renewal but arrived home a few hours too late it seems. As soon as the week expired I got charged $100 and put on an annual plan. No more than 2 hours after this happened, I contacted Blinkist and asked for a refund as I simply hadn’t seen that I’d be signed up for a $100 annual plan if I missed the cancel date. Most of these kinds of apps are monthly at worst and I would have swallowed the monthly fee If I’d missed the cancel date. They told me that they couldn’t do anything and suggested I try iTunes. I’ve contacted iTunes 3 times now and have not had one real response other than an auto response stating it’s not available for refund. I’m furious as I simply can’t afford it right now and you should always have a window after payment for something that as it’s simply a use as you go type of arrangement. Now I don’t even want to use it because it’s left such a bad taste in my mouth. If it’s such a great product, then they shouldn’t have to prey on those that forget to cancel their trial on time to then charge them $100. Pretty unhappy.
  • Great way to read and learn 5/5

    By sdane997
I love how it's only 10 minutes that summarize the story well. There's so many books here that one can learn a lot from. There's also a takeaway section at the end which summarizes key points of the book.
  • Great idea, only good execution 3/5

    By adawg!
I love the intent for Blinkist and I have a wall-full of unread books to prove it. The selection is good, the app is good, but the summaries vary in quality. Some are fabulous, while others seem targeted to high school audience, at best. Fundamentally, the writing of summaries by really smart editors is the lifeblood of this company. I want it to be better to consider this world class.
  • Quick & Easy learning 5/5

    By EmmyNominated
Blinkist has been nothing short of awesome, whenever a friend mentions a book I’m able to listen to it in 10-15mins and be able to speak on the topic. This is the perfect app for someone who is constantly seeking knowledge!
  • Quit Like A Millionaire 5/5

I loved! this book. The content is very informative and valuable to me. I’m already retired but there’s other information that can improve my financial future.
  • Subscription notifications 1/5

    By yesitsmeh
They’re nonexistent. I canceled over 6 months ago and just got hit with an $80 charge for an app I don't even use. Huge blow to my family.
  • Thank you Blinkist! 5/5

    By Das mom
I love capturing the heart of the content in these books without having to take the time to read them cover to cover.
  • Awesome ! 5/5

    By Leteegee
This app is awesome! I’m reading a free Book every day and learning a lot of different subjects. Some better than others. About ready to subscribe but very happy with it. Try it, you’ll love it
  • Don’t get it 1/5

    By ENG222
Such a waste of money don’t get it.
  • Shady payment practices 1/5

    By lars lexa
They charge you on the 6th day of the free trail for the full year subscription price to f $108, not the 7th as you would expect. They provide no refunds since you are “renewing” your subscription, and try to push the issue off onto Apple. I had over $100 that I do not have taken from me by this company. Thanks for stealing my grocery budget for the week. Any potential I ever had to use or recommend this app is gone. Companies that treat their customers like garbage deserve to fail. Edit: to respond to the developer response - I’m not claiming that the rules aren’t stated, but there is absolutely no reason to set up the cancellation rules this way except to take money from people that they didn’t want to spend on your app. It shows a lack of faith in your product. I pay for many subscriptions and services willingly, yours is not and will never be one of them.
  • Scam 1/5

    By mike 77009
Just another scam app. Goal is to get your money. Limited value
  • Can’t sign up on iPhone 6 1/5

    By Xin611
I just downloaded the app but can’t sign up as a new user on my iPhone 6. Entered my email and created pwd. Please fix.
  • I love this! 5/5

    By abiabiti
I like the fact that I don’t have to take multiple hours to understand one simple idea this app makes it easy to understand long books without actually reading them because in all honesty you don’t need to read for 7 hours to understand the golden rule of honesty.
  • Lame selection of books 1/5

    By rustygoldhouse
If this were a one time price of a few dollars it would be a cool novelty. The collection lacks in nuanced titles and topics. Also felt pretty salty about the automatic annual subscription charge after a few days of free trial. 👎
  • First Time 5/5

    By Twix5k
I’ve enjoy the first day of my free trial. Breaking a book up into important chunks is definitely less intimidating, and more enticing for me too get into a daily reading habit.
  • Life changer! 5/5

    By RFon0703
The way the books are summarized, how conversational they’re narrated makes it for the perfect companion in my everyday commute!

    Really love it yesss!!!!
  • $.01 4/5

    By carycary
Hey that one penny incentive for signing up for a year is really generous!
  • Tricked into losing $100!!!! 1/5

    By Perfect Wave
This app engages in deceptive business practices. It defaults to sign you up for A FULL YEAR subscription, at a cost of $99, banking on a hope you will forget to cancel in seven days. I didn’t have a chance to try the app immediately but assumed, incorrectly, that it would just bill me a month if I forgot to cancel. So I went on vacation and forgot to cancel, then just tried to cancel and realized it billed me $99! I don’t want to use this app until next summer. Cancel my subscription and refund the rest of the year! It never gave me a choice of monthly or yearly subscription or I would absolutely have chosen monthly, bc I had no idea whether I’d like or use the app. This has not only made me hate the Blinkist app, it has made me decide I’ll never subscribe to another app in the App Store. Shame on you Blinkist and shame in you Apple.
  • Love, but too expensive! 3/5

    By amaemo
I really loved this app - the content was great, I love the delivery and relevant topics, but it was just too expensive to justify continuing the service. If the price goes down I would definitely consider resubscribing!
  • Fantastic addition to my morning commute 5/5

    By Sugarcube88
I love the bite sized knowledge Blinkist gives me. I listen almost every morning and I’ve found 95% of their selections on point and thought provoking. Plus the narrators voice is really soothing. I highly recommend downloading.
  • Great app 5/5

    By Dr Daniel N Erasmus
    Read a book everyday
  • problens with subscription 1/5

    By pat coser
don’t go with the trial, the subscription process is bias, because if you dont want to keep going with the app they will charge you $70 on your account if you forget to unscribe. very disapointed.
  • One Small Snag 4/5

    By <3txcole<3
I love this app and recommend it to anyone who wants to take in information but doesn’t have lots of extra time to read. The content is easy to follow, relevant to what I like, and updated frequently. The only thing that keeps me from rating this 5 stars is the narration, it sounds very mechanical almost like it’s a computer reading most times.
  • Playing with fire 5/5

    By TF Albuquerque
It is so helpful to get good and sound advice on being financially free. I also like the fact that anyone who is willing to work, no matter the job, can attain this goal! Thanks🙂
  • Scam 1/5

    By CheatedNYC
The yearly subscription is $79 and I can’t even sign up!!! I have tried to sign up with email and I simply cannot register. A total scam. I will be asking for the $79 back.
  • Wow—a great method to learn more in less time! 5/5

    By SO Park
I love to learn new things. The one thing I loathe about reading is all of what I call filler. It seems like a lot of books have a lot of insignificant material. With Blinkist you get all the main points of a book without having to mine for it.
  • Thanks 5/5

    By Saman-Najaf
It helps me to improve my language.
  • Worth it 5/5

    By Cyclist1980
A lot of hours go into the production of every title. This is the first expensive subscription I've ever paid that felt like a really good value.
  • Just don’t get it 1/5

    By Georai
Totally not worth it. Not paying 70 dollars just to listen to books Get something else
  • WARNING - do not download this app 1/5

    By RTwoDJ
Putting aside that the content is at best high school grade use in the real world, they also won’t accept your subscription cancellation. If you try to contact them you get stone cold radio silence. Save yourself the pain and don’t even get started.
  • Mostly excellent but... 4/5
