Why don’t you save photos before ID ing them? I am in a place on a walk with no internet and can’t have the photo ID. Then you time me out and I lose the photo. Makes no sense. What am I not understanding? Do you assume we only www t to identify plants in areas with internet or mobile service?

I like so much about this app but I see other apps that are amazing. Others actually tell you how to “fix” your plant. Blossom constantly says…watering issues. Ugh! Too much water or too little water? Too much sun or not enough? I honestly just want a refund and I will find another app that diagnoses my plant and tells me how to fix it.
I got this app a couple years ago and it was free. I loved it, it was very helpful. But then one day several months ago, the app wouldn’t allow me to put care reminders on new plants. I was annoyed but I accepted it.
Yesterday, out of the blue, the app took my existing plant data hostage, requiring me to pay for premium before I could access any of the info I’d stored on each of my plants. I’m disgusted by this greed; I deleted the app. I would have happily paid a one-time fee for this app when I first got it, but I won’t be a hostage negotiator suddenly forced to pay for what was freely given. I’m sad to lose my data but forget this. I’ll use my calendar and google.

I don’t like this app. It cannot identify all my plants and has only allowed me to put in 2 of my plants. Definitely not worth the money. I wasted $34 on this.

Every time I try to see what’s wrong with my plant they always ask me for premium. The stems to plant are breaking and I can’t see how to help if I get asked the same question all the time.

I honestly don’t know enough but the main function of this app which is to take pictures of plant issues to diagnose and learn it’s name and key details are not always spot on, however I have found this to be a great help!

Saw it in the App Store , downloaded it and tried it on a couple of my succulents, which it didn’t correctly identify them. Do I need to pay to make it identify correctly? I’ve deleted your app.

I have had this app for many months, if not a year now. It constantly mis diagnosed my plants. It honestly has not been very helpful at all. I have provided pictures for diagnosing and it comes up with something completely different. I am going back to trusting an app that actually reviewed and diagnosed.
I really tried and hoped to like this app better. But it keeps disappointing.

I’ve never left a review of an app before but I am thoroughly impressed. Blossom is intuitive and designed in such a clear, concise manner. I have become a plant whiz practically overnight. I’m loving the watering schedule and all the reminders keep me right on track. And I’ve learned so much about my plants. Well done!

First, the identification is usually not correct in my experience. There is no way to provide feedback that the identification is incorrect, and apparently you are then stuck with the incorrect information.
Second, it may just be me, but I can’t figure out how to add pictures from my camera roll. I never open an app to take pictures; I would think the function to import from camera roll would be a lot more conspicuous.
Third, i can’t seem to take pictures to the plants I enter manually without identification happening automatically, so I don’t even benefit from correct care information for plants I know what they are!
Why am I paying for this app? I haven’t received a bit of useful information out of this app, so at this point it’s just a cumbersome photo album of my garden with incorrect labeling.

I wouldn’t advise anyone to use this app. It hasn’t correctly identified ANY plants. Every pepper plant I’ve photo’ed has been identified as cayenne—not a single cayenne in my garden

Followed the instructions religiously and now half of my plants are DEAD. So, not only $30 down the drain for the cost of this app and hundreds of dollars spent in replacing plants, but all of the time and love given to my precious green babies… EVAPORATED!

I’m trying the free app for 3 days. Hoping it is what I’m looking for. I took pictures of my plant. They sent me a picture of what they thought it was. Not even close. Then I tried to email the pictures for better clarification. It wouldn’t allow me to send.

Just wanted to say I think it’s pretty sad that in order to get any update in a help any questions any you require to be tract via GPS I get the whole notifications but I don’t want to be trapped I don’t want any deals when I’m driving around to pop up I don’t want all of the junk notifications cause I don’t have time for all that the fact that this is the only requirement otherwise you don’t have any access to anything besides reading up on a few things is pretty sad I will not end will not allow anybody to track me I would like a refund but this I give one star because I can’t get any information unless I allow you to track me

When you want to add a plant to your wish list, a bleeding heart appears and I don’t want one for a house plant but cannot search other plants. I took pictures of plants and one plant came up for two plants. I’m not a spring chick but it is not easy to use.

I love that you can organize the plants by room, but the process of checking them off when watering is super tedious and time consuming within the room pages. I water by plants by room, so I usually go into the room folder and click on each plant as I water it to compete it. It would be so much easier if I didn’t have to click into each plant to hit “complete.” It would also be helpful to be able to sort the plants in the reminders tab by room, by name and by water date and add filters.

I have been using this app to set myself reminders of plant care. I had a lot of fun creating “rooms” for my plants. However, I noticed that all the plant care is set for potted plants. I have some in-ground bougainvilleas, chase trees, and Texas sage. Speaking of the latter, when I searched for it on this app, the photo shown is a red flower that looks nothing like the pink (or white) bush that I have. I’ve had trouble finding or identifying some plants, even when I search by their scientific name. Weird right?

The app is really great and helpful. The only downside I see is the lack of responses I had with the “Ask Botanist” I’ve had two issues with my plants that I asked a question about and I haven’t had a response from either of them and I just asked one today which wouldn’t even let me ask as it said my email address wasn’t a valid one.

I’m a beginner gardener and this app has helped me determine what are weeds and how to take care of my plants!
I have a plant that’s not doing well. Firstly you have to subscribe to even try it with a free trial that auto converts. Don’t love that. Then, it identifies my plant problem as… either too much water or too little… okay. We’ll that’s useless. I can ask a botanist, so you fill that entire form out, only to then be told it’s a subscription or a fee after you’ve already done the work filling it out. Pretty lame. So - no help for my plant from Blossom.

Watering recommendations are too much and too often. One of my plants died before I realized this, and another one is still touch and go. I hope the damage can be undone.

Same thing happened to me as annonomys. I paid for the app and shortly after I tried to log in and it made me sign back up when I got in all my plants weren’t there. So I paid for a year and got nothing essentially.
