App not working 1/5
I have been using this app for years and it was great. All of a sudden when I try to open it to pay my bills; it’s saying this is temporary off line. I called customer service who said try doing it online but it’s still not working. I have money on the card and can’t get it or use it. This is ridiculous.
Can someone help me or if not I’ll have to contact my lawyer. Thanks you.

I was really excited to take control of my expenses and thought a prepaid card would be a great way to do it. This app is insufferable. I’ve been trying to load money on to my card for two days. And it continues to give error messages about technical difficulties. Don’t bother with this one.

Prefer the old app to this new one 3/5
I actually prefer the old app to this new one cause it was simpler and not so glitchy all the time. I can’t tell you how many times I get booted out to the log in while I’m in the middle of transferring money. I hate how you took the money at a glance away. Too many bugs and glitches and crashes. Why is it always offline when I need to transfer money to buy something or gas but can’t ???
Mine keeps saying app is temporarily offline. Its been over 6 months. I would call that permanent.

I’m not sure what happened but for 2 months the sign on screen consistently removes my user info - even though the box is checked to save it. There are long lags transferring funds. Accessing my sub accounts errors always!! This has become more of a hassle than it’s worth!
I got a card at Walmart, and I try to activate it but it says it can’t “approve” me for a card with no reason why, I just wasted 5$ for nothing!

This is a scam. I have no problem making an account but when I tried to activate the card it suddenly experienced technical difficulties it told me to try again. I did it multiple times on different devices. So I call the 24 customer service (1-877-486-5990) it immediately end when I tried to talk to the customer service. It scams me out of my money. You can try calling to attempt to see if it works when she speaks English press 2 then press 0.
Can’t load money on 1/5
I used to use bluebird for awhile and it was great. I recently returned and created a new account to monitor my finances better and create a budget for myself. However, I have been unable to load money onto my card for at least 2 weeks. I’ve tried everything and there’s no real customer service. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE
Touch ID Not Working 2/5
The touch ID is not working and I have to enter my password every time I use it. If this is no longer going to be a feature please remove it so I’m not wasting my time with the error.

Been with Bluebird for years! Customer service has been good up till now! Recently I used my card to put deposit on my free comp room! Never before has it took so long to get your deposit back??? I checked in Feb. 26! Checked out March 1! The hotel released deposit March 3rd! With a number of calls asking where is it ? You have it!!!!! I did not get my deposit
back till March 30?????

This app is going downhill. It is as if the company really does not want to support Bluebird users any more.
I can never just open the app and check my balance. I always have to reset my password. I never am recognized by the facial display.
I cannot load more money onto the card .
I have not yet been able to activate my new card.
If I call, I end up speaking to someone who is trying, but difficult to hear and constantly telling me how sorry they are. I don’t want constant apologizing, I want a real time solution.
Lately the computer needed to assist me has been down.
Please fix this or I will be forced to walk away.

I’ve used this app for years and years - like long enough that I’ve had replacement cards show up in the mail because my previous was expiring soon. If the biometric login breaks because you get a new phone or whatever the cause - turn it off, log out, log back in and switch it back on.. fixes it; I had that issue when I went from fingerprint to Face ID. Never tried check cashing so I cannot speak on that. This service/app has been very good to me over the years, I recall one day that the app was down but they got it back up by the next day. I haven’t installed this newest version because.. well I just haven’t yet.. but whatever - I just updated it a week ago anyway. I will come back and edit this with all the normal rage you’d expect if it breaks when I do update. Never had an issue. Period. It tends to just work fine for me. Sorry you guys get so many bad reviews when I’ve used this app for a long while without any issues and have loved it - I don’t understand really.

The app would be good if you could actually use it. I try to login to the app and the app says .wrong password. I can go online and not have one problem. This. App is useless and need to be worked on before you promote it to your customers.
They don’t send out your card. You call for help and they ask for name, social, DOB and refuse to assist you if you dont provide all of these including your account number. Website is useless too.

I used my Bluebird card only for online purchases. So, on March 9, 2022, I attempted to make a purchase, but the online store no longer takes my Bluebird card, but I had already transferred $161 dollars in to my Bluebird account. So, I went on and made the purchase from my authentic bank account. Then went back into my Bluebird account and did the transfer to put $160 of the $161 back into my bank account. I was checking the status of the transaction since the 9th and the whole time it was showing Pending. I made a recorded call to Bluebird last night and the Rep Julie/Julia was rude (she was very unprofessional) and didn’t want to help me unless I gave her personal info that I knew better than to give. If you know the credit card number I’m calling about, you have my last 4 of SSN, why do you need my DOB also. I immediately saw a red flag!! So, that call accomplished nothing. On this morning, Mar 15th, I got in to my Bluebird account around 7am and the transaction for the $160 that was to be transferred back to my bank was no longer in my active transaction list, and it wasn’t in the completed transactions list. So, someone used me transferring MY MONEY back to my bank as an opportunity to steal it. If you know what’s best, you won’t bank with Bluebird. There are thieves among them!! Wal-Mart & American Express shouldn’t affiliate themselves with Bluebird! With just one person in the company stealing makes Bluebird a disreputable company!! I don’t have $160 to give anyone or allow someone to steal from me without me sharing it with the masses.

Touch ID always logs an error that an error has occurred. This has been years of frustration at this point. I appreciate the new “slide for balance,” but can developers remove the Touch ID option if it’s not working, please?

There’s no support when calling to get help about your password, when entering your card to even reset it it throws up errors, thanks I can’t even use the account that I’ve had for 6 to 8 months and I can’t even refund the money someone sent to me

So frustrating to use this app now. Will no longer accept Touch ID to log in. I’ve reset my password, called to unlock my account and manually re-entered my login credentials. I have the latest app version. Still can’t get into the app using Touch ID. Waste of time and not convenient!

I have been with Bluebird for almost 10 years. I have no complaints with the card or service as of yet. The only thing I would say is some places don’t accept Amex. But that’s ok because I just pull cash from this account and deposit into my real bank account. I use this as direct deposit for work, school and taxes. It would be nice to have an overdraft protection option like chime (spot me) and cashapp (paycheck loan or sumn) But it is what it is. I gave it 4 stars cuz everyone doesn’t accept Amex and because there is no OD protection. Other than that. It’s cool plenty of free atms every where I go. No fees for anything. Even has free cash loading at plenty of places. Really great if you can’t get a real bank or even if you do have a bank account but just want something “prepaid”. Which is good to have when buying online because you have the option to only load what you need and if your info is compromised there is nothing else for someone to take you know?

I have been using Bluebird card since long time and I absolutely love it. It has options to deposit your pay check also. It shows graphic of your money trend - in and out along with the goal account which serves purpose of savings account. I highly recommend and encourage to get this card and app.

The Bluebird card is of no use to me if the app is down when I need it. This is a common problem the last six months. I’m very disappointed as I’ve been using it for about 4 years.

Have been using the bluebird app for a few months and enjoying it compared to other experiences I’ve used. Like the security and safety, but also flexibility that big bank accounts just don’t have. The app is helping me manage my money between paychecks, something we all need!
I even though I have the correct password it tells me it is incorrect. I try to change it and all it says is oops try again later. Try to change my address, same thing. Cannot do anything on the app and need to call in to make any changes. What’s the point of the app then?

I’ve had my Bluebird card for about six months now. I really enjoy the benefits that the card brings me. The app is pretty easy to use and navigate. I love how I can do everything on the app just like I would be able to on a desktop. It’s really easy and convenient to use the thousands of ATMs in the network with no fees!

The Bluebird card and app are simple to use. I have kids away at college and I can transfer money quickly to them. I like the ability to see the transactions and have the insights of how they are spending it. I have set up notifications to get alerted if their cards need loaded. Best part I can do it right from my phone.

Best banking product I’ve ever used! I never get charged fees, never have to go into a bank, and I can deposit checks straight from app. Plus, I can create additional accounts for my kids, they get their own individual card, and I can easily send them money and track their spending! My old bank sure couldn’t do that for me.

This app has a lot of capabilities for low cost. You can load money via direct deposit, remote check capture. You can do bill pay from your app, send money to your sub account or save money for a goal. All done very easily.

The new update that finally started working is definitely taking some getting used to, but it’s working, and that’s all I need it to do, so that’s why it’s getting 5 stars. Not that my opinion matters based on the audacity of bluebird to boldly and aggressively hammer away at their consumer base like they have been doing, I plan to stick around for a while, and hope things move along better in the future.

This use to be a good application. Always worked, no issues at all. For about the last year, I can’t access my own money without great difficulty and frustration.
The app works about 10% of the time. There are errors such as “Oops” Try again later. Etc.
I have used the money sharing for family members for about 7 or more years. It was great. Now this is almost a waste of space in my phones memory.
Horrible. Call and you can’t understand what’s being said. Hard to get things cleared up.

They do not answer. I have spent over a span of 5 days trying to reach someone at 1 (877) 486-5990 to see about the status of my card, update address and why I was locked out of an account I just opened. I just wanted the card to begin making online purchases. This product is truly terrible. You can’t get in touch with customer service. Calls are dropped, hung up, and ended. I was on hold for an hour waiting I never spoke with a human. I purchased this prepaid debit card 12/13/2021 this is terrible. I have money that I can’t access.

What’s the point in having a feature to move money from your Main account to sub accounts if it isn’t ever going to work and allow you to do so, all this app ever does is give you a stupid error code that says Oops this is awkward we are experience technical issues try again in a moment, well that moment t has been about two months now, and I’m over this app and this card, waste of time I will be closing this account and moving on to better things then bluebird that is for sure!! Not to mention every time I call customer support they act as if I’m the only one with this issue but yet look at all these reviews, not only that they placed me on hold for over 10 minutes multiple times to just hang up on me and not resolve my issue or even speak to me about it further then placing me on hold to look into it, horrible customer service, wouldn’t even give it a Star if it would let me not choose any, and now this stupid app wants to add a nickname and everything you dang enter is taken this is dumber then the app not working

I’ve had Bluebird for years. It’s convenient to send money to my children if they get in a pinch or if I’m traveling for my husband to send if I have credit card issues ( which had happened). Every time I turn around there are technical difficulties. The old app was much better. I have not been able to check active transactions or use any of the other features for going on a month. I have to go to the website to send money and see my transactions which is very inconvenient.
Well I ordered a card bc it sounded good in their description but just by these reviews, I’m not even gonna keep this app or use the card when it gets here. Usually I’ll just take my chance and judge it by what it does for me but obviously the new app they’ve created is definitely a waste of time. So if you usually don’t read reviews before going with something new, learn like I just did and start lol
