I’ve sent countless messages over the course of 2 months trying to cancel this account. It’s not and they continue to steal my money after all my messages and clear evidence that I no longer use this app. Customer service is full of loopholes and arbitrary rules that are against the interest of the subscriber. Thieves.

I have had Booksy for my business for the past year. Always was happy until I started having major tech issues weeks ago. Usually solves quickly but now I’ve not been able to check my clients out and charge them for the last 4 days. Slow response time and Martina hasn’t helped me at all. Just saying it’s my fault. But the tech team had to fix this same issue for me before. They are also super slow to send my income to my bank account and they send it in a trickle. You have no way to know what services you’re being paid for. I’m looking to switch as I also don’t like having to pay 3 different fees for the same one service. $29.99 per month , $.30 per service and also 2.9% per service. It’s getting costly.
I was convinced to switch over to Booksy from Vagaro with the promise that it was the same except it took deposits. I had more no shows than ever as my clients were not receiving confirmation texts. Viewing my schedule was far more difficult and there were constant glitches. I was supposed to receive a free month for all of the errors but was then charged. When I asked for the app to be cancelled (because there’s no way to cancel
the app without a rep doing it for you) a representative said it was taken care of. Two weeks later, I found out it was not! If you are a very booked colorist with huge appointment blocks, this app is not ready to accommodate that. Hopefully it will clean up eventually. Until then, i’m back to clean and easy and $5 cheaper Vagaro.

I’ve issued booksy for quite awhile now, Almost 3 years and I have also been part of teams who has me added to their, square, vagaries, shedulicity, and many more. It’s beyond frustrating paying for things that don’t work! Stop the shenanigan and get booksy. BooksyBIZ helps make your life easy whether it’s sending you new clients or helping you learn to market and get better with your #s I think booksy was set up for the indipendant, or team of oeofessionals that could use efficiency and their online system- let it handle its self- because let me tell you it does! I’ll never use anything else again!

I was disappointed in this app in 2017 which is why I stopped using it. I then started using theCut which is absolutely flawless unfortunately I joined a team which all use Booksy so I took one for the team and changed back to avoid customer confusion. It’s 2019 and I’m still dissatisfied, disappointed and disgusted on how slow they are fixing issues. And how terrible the app works at times. I’ve been complaining about the same issue for months. My portfolio flashes constantly and pictures are always duplicating, i have the customer version as well looked myself up and on portfolio the pictures duplicate. I don’t know why they don’t just display photos in a grid style. The photos look horrible if you don’t display them correctly and can take time to load especially if you use your portrait mode on iPhone. I would of gave a 1 star but I’ve gotten a few new clients however this app is NOT worth what they charge. They’re quick to take their $30 but slow as hell fixing issues.

I wouldn’t waste my money on this app. I wouldn’t even pay for it if they offered it free. I’ve been running this app for over 5 months now. Haven’t had nothing but problems. You aren’t about to refund your client. You have no control in that area. Sometimes the system have glitches. Where you go to check out your client and the sale doesn’t even exist so be prepare for this app to be more of a hassle then easy.

I’ve had booksy for about 2 years and it did save my clients and I a lot of back and forth trying to schedule appointments. Except for those times when booksy isn’t working on their end and they have to call me because the app isn’t letting them schedule an appointment and so forth. But it’s okay I manage, it doesn’t happen every day. However, this month I was charged $59.98 for my subscription instead of the regular $30. I let tech support know about this misunderstanding and they told me it was due to the fact i hadn’t payed for the last month, so they withdrew it together. I showed them proof that I had indeed payed for the last month and there was no reason for them to charge me twice this month. They said they were waiting for a response from their financial department and they would get back to me ASAP. (Mind you, this was Wednesday) Sunday morning I get a text from booksy congratulating about joining their team. I have no idea what that’s about so I assume they probably already put the money back into my account. To my surprise they withdrew yet another $30 from my account! Unbelievable that they can’t get back to me about the first incident but they sure can charge me again? That’s a total of $60 unaccounted for! No thank you, I am canceling my subscription as soon as I get my money back.

When I was getting new clientele during my trial I was happy, but after paying 29.99 I have not got a client since they also ask me to import MY clientele onto booksy. That does not benefit me at all to put them on a platform with competition.
