My thoughts about the Bose Soundlink Micro 5/5

It is very portable and has very clear audio. I think that the strap is very simple but very effective. The magnet inside the strap is very smart, it comes undone when you need it too and if you are moving it stays locked. The soft outer side of the speaker is smart and it is comfortable to hold, but if you were to drop it on rough concrete I think it would get scratched.

The app is very good and has some of the best features. Easy to connect your devices, I only have one Bose device. However, I will be purchasing another one of their audio products because of how impressive it is to not only connect their device but because of their superior sound and what they have to offer.
With how much Bose charges, they should be ashamed to off this app. I use it to connect two revolve speakers in stereo mode, problem is, it never works right. Every time I want to use them in stereo is an exercise in frustration. This has been buggy through multiple app, and firmware updates. Come on Bose, what is so friggin hard about listening to music in stereo???? I should have gone with Sonos.

Update: After searching all over, you need to hold the BT button for ten seconds to delete all BT devices from the Headset. I update my review to two stars as it is not clearly outlined anywhere one needs to do this with an updated phone.
BT doesn’t work with my new iPhone XR...it worked fine with my old iPhone 7 with the most recent IOS. Google search shows there are tons of persons who also cannot connect their $300! Headphones to BT. This is unacceptable and Bose needs to fix this. It is also stupid one has to even use a App to connect to BT.
If Bose doesn’t resolve the bug soon, I will return my headphones and purchase Beats.

This app is getting better. But, it’s still a little clunky and the Bluetooth connectivity is a best inconsistent. The sound quality is awesome. I looking forward to the firmware that will connectivity issues.

Why does this app exist? 1/5
I’m on a call and I hear a Bose headphone “connect” chirp. I don’t know why. I hear the call and as far as I know I’m on two devices, an iPad and iPhone. The iPhone is connected, but when I open this app, it states it can’t find a device. What good is this app?? Like, it’s at least two years old. Why does the app not detect the QC headphones that are already connected? What is this update for?

The app works and does what it’s supposed too. But it doesn’t do much else. Wish you could control EQ. Turn up the Bass and make the volume louder. I’ve only had the headphones 1 day so I don’t have a real opinion on them yet. So far so good.

I’m consider myself an audiophiles. And what I’m going to say is will be against the community. Usually audiophiles tend to hate Bose. But if I love my self sound quality and this is the best headphones i have ever had.
(6months) and still don’t stop to surprise me.

Sound is consistent with Bose standards. Audio is at it’s best. It’s stays in your ear with the correct fit and it weightless. Forget you had them on until battery runs out. I have not yet pushed the battery limits. Stay tuned. So far so great.

I’m an audio engineer, and yes, I know Bose tends to catch some flak from our community, but I’ve yet to find a negative thing about any of their gear aside from price, lol... but totally worth the money. Use my SoundSport phones and AcoustiMass system to reference my final mixes. And they do the job BEAUTIFULLY. When I’m actually mixing my projects I use a Yamaha HS8 setup. Crappy speakers to mix through. Then play through my Bose gear to hear the end product. Night and day results. The audio is so well balanced and so rich no matter what I have playing through them. Hoping to snag a set of the SoundSport pods soon. Keep up the good work, Bose. You help keep audio sounding amazing.

Often plays "unknown" silence 1/5
There's a feature to connect to multiple devices, which is great theoretically. However, whenever I turn it on, it connects to both my phone and my laptop and plays "unknown" from my laptop, which overrides anything I'm playing on my phone. This happens even if my laptop is closed or asleep. I have to manually disconnect my laptop from my headphones in order to use them at all

Find my buds worked on past versions of this app, however this no longer works. I’ve checked location services and the Bose Connect app doesn’t appear, and the settings page that the app directs you to does not have any option for enabling location. Please fix this!!!

So far everything is great! However I would like to see the volume be able to be controlled with the buttons on my phone when using speaker in conjunction with an outside audio source. i.e. when I am connected to my fire box, and I’m on the app I can not control the volume level with the phone buttons. I can in the app but not with the buttons. Would like to see that resolved. Other than that 5 stars.

It works but I feel there is missing information. I am able to navigate easily enough but there isn’t a “CONNECT” to Bose.com and my account where I made my purchase.

Great app, almost all the information you need.—->> Could app give a percentage of battery charge, ON THE APP. By the time I place right ear bud, it has already stated the charge level. It would be nice add in the app. Great sound

I was excited to download this app to use with my S1 Pro’s (and, sadly, not my Soundlink III since it isn’t supported); however, it will not detect any of my devices, even after restarting everything including my iPhone. Oh well.

Bluetooth keeps disconnecting 1/5
I have four Bose headphones, Sound Sport, Sound Sport Pulse and the QC35 and they all disconnect about every three minutes whatever app I’m using, Netflix, YouTube, Pandora etc..I love the headphones but this bug is a disgrace...Only happens on IPad , never on my Android phones...
SOLVED. Just uninstall Bose app to solve the problem.
