Great app. Good free content. Very expensive subscription 4/5
I’ve only been using the app a couple days. The content is good and it appears there is a lot of free content. The monthly subscription is very expensive. That leaves me with mixed feelings.
Fun and challenging 4/5
The problems are challenging but accompanied by nice explanations.
Definetly worth getting 4/5
I would definitely recommend this app (great job on the appearance of the app by the way. I like how simple it is.), because I love this style of learning. I have been using it for a few weeks now to understand Algebra concepts better, and it’s been working pretty well. I love how fun and interactive the quizzes are, and I love how you can just jump around and look at a whole load of different subjects without having to level up or something too. Now, I have given this review 4 stars though, because I find some of the explanations too complicated or lacking in clarity. Overall though, it’s a great learning tool, but for some of the subjects I feel it’s better to learn it the old fashioned way and then use Brilliant to really clarify your understanding and anchor down your skills once and for all!!!
Exceptional introduction you coverage and explanations for example problems 5/5
This platform provides excellent value for those why are trying to learn a bit of everything but mainly focus on computer/math/engineering. The UiUX is amazingly done, like similar to those found on Google pages 😉
Love it 5/5
I love brilliant
Excellent and enjoyable. At your own pace, if you feel like participating. Great way to spend a few minutes! Thoughtful.
Good, but not upfront 4/5
By Fatima baji
I really enjoyed the mini quizzes, though I didn’t understand some of the material I still gained a lot of information in some of the explanations.
My *only* complaints are: try not to be so vague on some founding principles if at the beginning of the course if it says “Not to worry! You’ll learn about it in chapter so and so...’’ but then don’t explain the fundamentals if the course is for absolutely beginners? 🙄🙄🙄
Secondly, let us know we have to pay for the course before hand! Please let that be included at least in the introductory section, gave an option to buy the full package. Really took me by surprise, I’m sure others as well.
Otherwise I really enjoy the app. I’m going to buy it only because I have no doubt it would greatly improve my understanding and comprehension of material. Thank you all for developing and writing the content of this app.
Great app 5/5
I enjoy re-learning stuff I have forgotten since high school and college, and learning new concepts on top of those fundamental lessons.

Really Good but... 5/5
By Eli G,
You can’t really do anything on it without a subscription and it auto renews every year it charges $80.00 per year of the subscription... And plus it is more understandable depending your age...

God, but keep pushing you to pay 3/5
Very interesting problems. I like them, but they keep pushing you to pay USD 10.00/mo
A very unstable app 1/5
I thought I was set to enjoy a very productive and challenging app. After multiple attempts to delete and reload this program Things never got any better. It constantly goes into display loops as well as having other flaws.
For the big price tag being posted I’m glad I looked before I leaped.
Don’t buy “Brain Games” get Brilliant! 5/5
By Berning Love
Those stupid brain game apps have been absolutely debunked in the literature as tools to make you smarter. What ACTUALLY makes you smarter?
1) Learning languages
2) Learning Instruments
3) Learning kinesthetic skills
4) LEARNING HIGHER MATH AND LOGIC
Number 4 is exactly what brilliant helps you done in a fun, slowly but consistent way.
10/10 highly recommend.

If you love riddles and brain teasers, check out this app. It’s fun to play alone and it’s fun to quiz your friends.
Needs offline and dark modes 3/5
So glad there’s finally an offline mode for modules! Would really like it if offline could be expanded to practice problems as well. Finally getting a dark mode would be great too.
Love this app 5/5

Creative, challenging and engaging!
Need to account for all device sizes 3/5
The content is good but a lot of time I found the text, or even in this today’s problem, the question to be cropped out, and no way for me to scroll left-right, thus hidding crutial information (in this case I couldn’t even solve the problem because of the start of the equation being cropped out). You guys need to account for smaller/less popular device sizes...

A better resource for review? 3/5
By App ReviewOr
I feel like this platform provides an education out of order. Each Course is a series of quizzes. While it does offer content AFTER each question there is no obvious way to review the content you are being tested on before the questions.
The Practice section allows you to navigate to a Wiki section that seemingly covers the material in each course; however, I feel like that is what the course should be?
This format backs each lesson into the content; I feel like the Wiki content should precede the quizzes?
I’d compare the meat of this app to purchasing test questions with an answer key. Sure you can learn the content that way but then why go to class? There is also no easy way to review the material you were just quizzed on without retaking the quiz.
Brilliant is more attuned for reviewing material you have already been exposed to.
I was hoping for more.
Login required. Not interested. 2/5
By App Trawler
Why is login required? What value do I get by turning over my email address to you? Or my Google login?
The app description did not convince me that it’s worth it. So, no thanks. I know there’s no such thing as a free lunch (or app) but, frankly, I’m tired of having to log in for so many things.
Bad Price Point - Don’t download if you’re not paying 1/5
I’m not quite sure who would pay either the monthly or yearly subscription for content that is easily found for a fraction of the cost elsewhere. I’m still trying to find the justification of the apps price point but nothing has jumped out other than the UX.
The free version is almost a joke to download too.
Also to add to other reviews the content is lacking in areas that make the price point even less worth it.
TLDR: If you really want to learn a subject buy a textbook pdf online or look elsewhere as you will probably learn more in depth and save money.
Fun AND Educational!! 5/5

Great and to expand your intellect 5/5
Very instructive and challenging. Giving you a wealth of topics to challenge you on.
If you can fold a piece of paper in half 100 times without thinking about how much paper you got , from 93.4 billion light years away you can fold the paper 100 times to fit the piece of paper right inside the density of our solar system.

Awful customer support 1/5
Well designed courses with simple explanations but their customer support is terrible.
I completely forgot to cancel my subscription this month and when I asked for a refund they never responded. Still waiting.
It’s unfortunate for a company to create such a beautiful app but have terrible customer service.
Truly amazing! 5/5
One of the best apps out there that will actually "work in your brain". The amount of things you learn from here is impressive, and it makes you squeeze your brain
