3day freetrail. You cannot sample any of the content without signing up. I just saved you 60 seconds of your life more or less depending on your internet speed and how fast you read this.
  • Do not download!!!!!! 1/5

I’m just starting to study bhuddism so I don’t know much about the religion. But I do know that One of the very basic intentions of Bhuddism is to spread love. The creators of this app would rather instead spread cliche quotes and charge you $30 a month to do it! A complete waste. Their true intentions are $$$$. I doubt a true Bhuddist even created this app. Do not download!!!
  • don’t bother yourself downloading this 1/5

  • Quit trying to charge me 1/5

    By nicxbrff
I deleted this app, and I’ve learned you guys are trying to charge me even before my “free trial” was up please stop trying to charge me I don’t want this app and I’m not paying for it. I downloaded and quickly learned it was not what I was looking for. This is ridicules. It also doesn’t help that you make it hard to unsubscribe or cancel.
  • Don't download 1/5

    By brightyoungone
I was hoping this would be a helpful and pleasant app. The app wouldn't do anything until I accidentally agreed with a three day trial which would then charge me after. I deleted the app and looked everywhere on how to cancel so I would not be charged. I cannot find anything and assume I will be charged unknown amount after three days. I feel that I was bamboozled and it is upsetting out of this type of app.

  • $415/year! That’s insane. 1/5

    By Excellent wonderful fantastic
$7.99/week?!?!? WHAAAAA?!? That’s $415/year for free teachings. I think this could be an absolutely wonderful app but I, and most people in the world, can’t afford that.
  • Terrible waste of time. Don’t download. 1/5

The app is based on a subscription model. Fine. The problem is that upon download you will not even be able to see the content, layout, interface, or anything except the subscription sign up screen. I have have used many subscription based apps, but have never been asked to blindly subscribe, without even seeing the app or sample content. Sure you could use the free trial, but I feel like a good subscription app should at least provide sample content and a basic experience of the service before asking you to commit. Also, subscription price is steep, all the more reason to not go in blindly.

APP WILL NOT DO ANYTHING UNLESS YOU PURCHASE SUBSCRIPTION. I noticed that the developer responded to an accurate review with “Dear fellow Buddhist.” How cute. Sorry, you are not a Buddhist – or are in name only. The way this app has been executed is EXTREMELY deceptive and NOT of the Dharma. Just charge for the app. The goal of REAL practice is not to try and become rich by gaming people into a subscription service. Ugh. It reminds me of the bad temples that seem to think dana is mandatory.

Stop using Buddha’s FREE teaching and then charging people $8 a WEEK to use this app. What in the world are you guys thinking? Very bad karma coming for you

Same of many people. Do not download this app. It will charge you $7.99 every week without any authorization and it got you an “automatic renewal” even when you delete the app from your device. Total scam!!
  • Horrible & Dishonest 1/5

They trick you into clicking on $7.99 per week fee and the give no way to cancel. This is a total fraud by some company based in Brazil!
  • You are crooks 1/5

You are continuing to charge my credit card every week. Thank God my subscription has expired. You owe me $55.93. They don’t tell you that they charge you $7.99 every week.
  • RIP-OFF SCAM 1/5

    By phonebone222
THIS IS HORRIBLE. As soon as you launch the app you see 2 quotes, you start to scroll, then you are faced with a message that has 3 options: free trial (3 days, with your payment info required, and you will be charged if you don't cancel in time, $7.99 per WEEK) or 2 other payment options ($29.99/month!, or a year at $9.75/month!) What??????!!! Ridiculous! This info can easily be found on the web for free!

  • Shenanigans - Stay away! 1/5

    By Wingate8
Downloaded this app as a free trial and was charged immediately. Deleted from device, but subscription charges continue to be made. Very unhappy. Attempts to both turn off subscription and recoup money stolen have been ineffective. A poor reflection on the both App Developer and the Apple App Store. Refunding my $32 would be a good start to smoothing this over.
  • Very suspicious. Not trustworthy. Don’t download 1/5

    By EnvilZepp
I was going to get this But every time I hit free trail or anything it says “cannot connect to App Store” it will literally force you to do the payment options. However. It’s not trustworthy to even try that. I also wanted to point out my friend got this and she showed me it before she deleted it. It’s DEFINITELY not worth the how much they want you to pay. It’s just simple quotes and stuff you can easily get online or on another app for free. And the fact they are even making you pay is absolutely wrong and disrespectful to the teachings of Buddha, especially with how EXPENSIVE they have it. I agree with the other reviews on here. It’s horrible. You can easily find other ways to keep the app alive like OTHER apps do. Also the $7 a week is why my friend deleted and she also hated that she couldn’t just cancel it so easily. Even after deleting and cancling in the App Store Settings it charged her. She had to go through her bank to get it stopped. Honestly it seems like a scam. Just like the rest of their apps. But if it’s not then they REALLY need to find a better way in doing this. Cause no one is gonna join unless they are absolutely stupid.
  • CHARGING 7.99 A WEEK 1/5

    By Lmrkdavis
Be mindful and beware........I downloaded this app and I never agreed or ever saw anything, about a cost for this app and just found out they've been taking 7.99 out of my iTunes app account now every week now for the last 5 weeks! They charge you 7.99 a WEEK, May be worth it, I don't know, what I do know, is I was expecting budha quotes etc not 7.99 a week app. I'm going to practice patience and tolerance because I really want to scream and be super angry!
  • Being charged when I deleted it!!!! 1/5

    By Shundalblakat
I’m so annoyed to find I’m being charged $7.99 for an app that I accidentally, and apparently purchased!!!! I deleted it after looking at it and realizing it is nothing at all that I am interested in PAYING for. I’ve looked and can’t seem to find a convenient place to delete this membership or whatever is allowing this scammer company to continually charge my bank account. There’s a place to contact them, and I entered the address....nothing comes up!! DO NOT EVEN LOAD THIS CRAP APP ONTO YOUR PHONE! It’s apparently a SCAM!! I’ve reported it to Apple. I want OUT!!! I want this canceled immediately, yet they make it near impossible to do so. I don’t want to give it any stars but that’s not an option....I had to give at least one. So annoyed.....
  • Riddles not Buddhism 1/5

    By Nothing Special Music
From what I can tell so far, this app is just a bunch of intellectually challenging play on words, not necessarily the type of engaging buddhism app you’d hope for after paying $30 a month for.... kind of bummed out about it honestly. And I’ve practiced formal meditation daily and consider myself a contemporary Bon Tibetan Buddhist practitioner so I don’t say this from a western point of view. I have read several books also... just expected more I guess.

I checked out this app and ended up being sneakily charged $8 for access for a week for quotes you can get by just googling.
  • This is not what my master taught me. 1/5

    By Jayfkillz
As most know, the Buddha did not charge for spiritual instruction - he took voluntary donations. He also didn't favour established religious centres, perhaps because he knew the worldly corruption that it can bring. In the modern world it is difficult to follow that example - but it can be done if we are not following our egos and trying to build a religious empire or a cosy life for ourselves. The front rooms of our houses can be used as many Christian groups do. I also believe the exchange of money - as a charge - damages the spiritual connection between teacher and pupil and at the very least causes the student to doubt the sincerity of the teaching in a capitalist world. A free teaching, given as a gift, is a powerful thing and can often reach people.
