They take my money every month, but the second I need help my account doesn’t exist. Camscam is more like it.

I used to ALWAYS use this app when it was time to send in documents for taxes or student loans. I don’t use this app often at all (maybe twice a year) and after seeing that now I would have to pay just to use the most basic features
is incredibly disappointing and I just refuse to do it. If I needed all the extras I would have no problem but the should have a free version for the basic uses. Now I have to find another app but it shouldn’t be too much of an issue.

This used to be the best app for scanning, now it includes a watermark on the documents, which it didn’t include before and now wants you to pay, is give these developers a 0 if i could
Love this app. Makes to convert a paper doc back to electronic. The automatic re-squaring and contrast adjustment is so helpful.

Reoccurring Monthly Fee Not Wirth It 2/5
It works great, but the monthly fee they want to charge is not acceptable. I’m not alone in this when I say, who’s going to keep paying for something they use only on occasion. Sure if I was scanning hundreds of documents a month then maybe it’d be worth it.
I used to own this when I had an Android device. At that time there was a one time charge, which was totally worth it. Not this, uninstalling since I found an app with great features with a very low one time cost.

Worst nightmare realized and then crickets 1/5
Do not trust them. There’s no customer service. They take your money and run.
They overcharged me about 100$! No reply. After working with this app for two years I signed out and signed in and ALL my files erased! GONE. Years of documents!!! Disappeared! And then nothing but dead silence and crickets from help center . Not one reply (to my now 12+ emails) from customer service. Beware. Poorly supported especially when your worst nightmare comes to life.

Greedy app asked me to sign in again (I’m already a paid customer) and then wiped out all my document.
Its a good app it does what it supposed to do, and it has cloud
They charged me $45 for a yearly membership I hadn’t requested.
I have been trying to get in contact with them and they stopped replying my emails when I had requested to speak to a representative on the phone.
Don’t get it, they’ll charge you without your consent.

I used the app one time with reasonable results. I tried again a day later and it kept freezing, first when I tried to scan and then, after refreshing the app, when I tried to send the document. Not worth the effort.

I’m furious. The scanning functionality is actually great, but I paid the subscription so that I could create PDFs without a watermark, but then the app refused to let me send the PDF anywhere. Now I’m out $50 and I can’t get the PDFs out of the app and onto my computer. THIS IS A TERRIBLE SYSTEM AND FEELS LIKE THEFT

Love that I don’t have to take a picture of a document because they print differently. I have had this app and it’s always done a great job, no technical issues or sharing problems either. If you do pdf then this would be great, sometimes you need a document from being away from laptops, iPads and this app connects any device together whether in the app or emailing the document from CamScanner..

I have been paying for the premium app for some time now but still have watermarks on my scans and ads. It invites me to buy the premium and then confirms I already have paid for it but doesn’t remove the watermark and ads. I have uninstalled and the reinstalled the app but nothing changes. I have reached out to the company via their website form but have received no response for months.

While this service works well as a scanner. The app offers a discount, I click to buy it and they still charged me full price. And what's worse I still don't have the premium service I paid for. I have reached out to customer service (digital is only option) with ZERO response.
Find another company that is more reliable. I had to get my refund from iTunes because they won't respond.

Yes I love the can-scanner, it’s helped me out a-lot. Problem now is , I had set a 4 digit code for the can-scanner got a new phone . Forgot the
code !! Can’t find any way to get passed it and back into the App. Any suggestions??

This app signed me up for a premium subscription that I did not choose to pay for. It cost $50 and I never once was asked to confirm the purchase nor was I required to enter my password or use Face ID to confirm the purchase. This is unethical.
Misleading prompts for subscription 1/5
This app has missleading prompts for subscription and only lets you sign up for a yearly or monthly subscription only to give you other options after purchasing. I tried to cancel the subscription because it wasn’t what I wanted only to be denied a refund or switched to the subscription I actually wanted.
This Is very dishonest and I will be submitting a complaint to the BBB.

I have been using this app for nearly a year. Last month, there was a pop up for me to purchase to remove the watermark. I thought possibly subscription had expired... No biggie.I go to repurchase. Well... My subscription doesn’t expire until 2/14. I only use the app once a month... Yesterday I went to use the app again... Still the same pop up to purchase and still the same results... I have already purchased it. My subscription does not expire until 2/14. I double checked to make sure the app is up to date with the latest version... It is according to App Store... However, it’s still the Christmas design from the last update with minor “bug fixes” in the description of the latest version. I am trying to find a resolution to this issue. Contacting customer service seems to be difficult and a run around also. This is annoying and it also seem fraudulent. I would not recommend getting this app.

I have been using this app from my iPhone to my first Android and now to my iphonex. Have tried others, but nothing even comes close to this app in convenience, quality and value. I love it so much I purchased the Pro version as soon as they offered it.

I purchased this app. They took 53 dollars for the year subscription and I didn’t receive it. I tried contacting the company several times no response. The app has a water mark on it and the only way to get rid of the water Mark was allegedly purchase the subscription. First of all they get you with its 2.99 a month, so you click on it only to discover they remove 53 dollars all at once. Ok fine, not what I thought I was signing up for but at least I’ll have the subscription paid for the year and use it. Nope. The subscription never activated and each time I use it it says I haven’t paid for the subscription. I click on the activate subscription and it takes you back to the menu to purchase it. I’ve contacted apple iTunes who has said oh it’s an issue the developer has to correct but if they don’t contact us. The developer refuses to return my emails or fix the problem. Now apple iTunes is pushing the issue off not wanting to remedy the situation. Apple iTunes I thought this company was represented through your app. Will never trust apple iTunes again and I would definitely make sure you don’t purchase this app.
It costs money.... most of the reviews say it’s free and the description doesn’t say any thing it’s $5 a month which is a bit more than I expected.

My friend Andrew recommended this app for scanning. He said it was free. I downloaded it last Sunday (it’s Thursday morning 8am PST TODAY) as I needed to scan an important document urgently — so I just tap on yes to the whatever prompts were on the screen in order to get to the scanning part as quickly as possible — turns out it was offering me a 3 day trial for about $3-4 bucks. Not problem. Today I wake up to a $50 bill for a yearly subscription I DID NOT INTEND TO EVER PURCHASE & when I went to CANCEL AND REQUEST A REFUND through the official channels I get this message “

I have tried numerous times to request a refund of this app. Starting just hours after the free trial was over. I am a busy mom, the free period was only several days. I only used the app during the free period. All of my refund requests have been denied. This ACCIDENTAL auto purchase put my credit card over the limit. I am very disappointed.
