Read before buying 1/5
By Out of here.
I bought this app. One month later I started receiving emails from every sleazy operation on the planet. They sell your name.
Won’t leave me alone 1/5
I recently looked for an app to track my meds. I downloaded and tried several. Didn’t like this one it was too much about ads and paid services and that interfered with my main goal. I do understand that free apps are funded somehow and I don’t object to ads or other means of satisfying the funding requirements. I do however object when it’s implemented on an intrusive manner. I ended up choosing a different product, cleared my data, and removed this app. I was not at any point given the choice to opt in to email communication. Since removing the app, I’ve received an email every day (too often even if I’m USING the app). And every day I click on unsubscribe which promises that I am unsubscribed. Next day same again. Wash rinse and repeat. Why bother even putting one there if it’s ineffective? Between claims of the being easy to use when it wasn’t and then the repeated emails and disregard of unsubscribe requests, I’m not feeling very trusting. Am I willing to trust this app with my health info while I poke around settings in order to stop the unwanted email? Not no but H no.
Developer, I want to be crystal clear. The problem is not that I do not know how to tweak settings. The problem is that the unsubscribe does not function as promised. Telling me how to fix it or fixing it for me won’t address the failure itself, only the results. I can do that myself — by reporting these emails as spam.
Be careful 1/5
Downloaded this app because I thought it would be helpful in numerous ways, but as soon as I provided my phone number I suddenly started getting nonstop phone calls attempting to scam me and threaten to arrest me if I didn't give these "cops" money. I don't have proof that these calls are connected to this app, but I will say that I've never received these type of calls until the same morning this app received my number. JUST BE CAREFUL AND WARY.
I agree with Mary want you to buy prescriptions through them. Not going to happen.
Don’t like new interface 2/5
Been a user since 2009. Most useful app for tracking and documenting issues. Now it’s just annoying. My most used features are buried; whereas, paid services ( pharmacy) are pushed to the front. What was once useful and a joy is now a pain. Looking for alternatives.
Reply from CareZone is untrue. 1/5
After reading the reply below, I was so excited. I did as asked and wrote with my account email and was told the exact opposite about in app ads. They cannot be removed, it’s why the app is free to us.
Notifications can be turned off so you’re not emailed.
I really like this app but paying should remove the advertisements. It’s super annoying to see constant ads. Would love to see a real Dashboard too that was designed for the app user not for the app builder.
It’s a great tool but lacks some customization. Biggest issue get rid of the pharmacy ads and let us pay for this great tracking app.
Make CareZone app great again 2/5
I get that the developers wish to make more money but that is NOT why most users elected to get involved with CareZone. I got involved with CareZone to manage my family’s healthcare. The recent updates have transformed your useful app into a worthless app difficult to navigate and manage my family’s healthcare with too many spammy panels for ordering stuff that is irrelevant to my family’s needs. I am hoping that you will take this feedback seriously while I am looking to replace CareZone with something easier to use and sell annoying, redundant sales pitches.
Need name of patient at top of medication list 3/5
We are using the app to manage about 40 patients in our program
The latest update does not have the patient name at the top of the MED list page which is really annoying
People do make mistakes and I need to go back and double check if I am in the right patient
Also the pharmacy ad page is just a pain in the neck between me the patient and MED list
Thank you -ilene miner, lcsw
Long time user 3/5
I have been using this app for some time now and can honestly say I don't mind the promotional materials. I expect that. My only problem is that with the current update the reminders to take scheduled doses are now sporadic. I rely on those reminders so it's starting to worry me that I'm not getting them regularly. Hope that can be fixed. Other than that it's an excellent app!
CareZone Medication tracker 3/5
The features of this app are the best I’ve found.
I am frustrated and annoyed by the commercials. It wouldn’t be so bad if the X button was active to allow me to skip them...But it’s DEAD! which adds insult to injury.
PLEASE correct this for those of us who have no need or desire to change our suppliers (its a retirement benefit in my case) I’d hate to have to switch to avoid the annoyance... BUT I WILL!! Thanks
Avid user 1/5
Have been using your app for almost 2 years it’s been great keeping up with my parents medication and health information. But now after your resent update I am only able to see one profile what happened
Great App! 5/5
This pharmacy along with its App is so easy to use and they help me keep track of my meds and my Dr.s. I can bring up the App when I’m at any Dr appointment for information about the medication I’m on and the names and contact information of the specialist that I see and who my Primary Dr is. It’s all right at my fingertips. My medications are delivered right to my door. They let me know when they have been sent and I can track them right to my door. They remind me when it’s time for a refill. They always wait until the correct day of the month to extract my payment. They are courteous and helpful if I have a problem or questions. I love this company and their App!
If it ain’t broke... 5/5
There is a problem with blood sugar tracker it won’t input values. Please fix!
Where is the word SAVE ? 4/5
When I took my medication yesterday and this morning I noticed the word SAVE is no longer there on the page that lists the medications I take.
Could you please put it back? Thank you!
Another thing that is a bit annoying is the advertising page that pops up before I have a chance to record my medication that I have just taken.
Can this wait until after the medication has been taken? I take my medication by at least 7 AM in the morning and do not want to deal with an ad at that time of the morning. 😉
Thank you! 😊
Much appreciated !
Used to be quite good but gets worse with each update 2/5
I’ve used this app for a number of years. When I first started to use it, it was ideal - helped me remember to take my meds and synced between my iPhone and iPad so I could track things on either device and the information would migrate to the other. Exactly what I needed.
Unfortunately, over the years and over a number of “upgrades” this has become a bloated, annoying, frustrating app. It’s impossible to start the app at the medications tab, there are frequent pop ups for services I don’t need and, in general, the functionality of the app is largely masked, to the point where I am exploring alternatives. I now tolerate this app. It’s usefulness has been severely diminished. It’s gone from a 4-5 star app to a 1-2 star app. And I shudder to think what future “improvements” might bring.
Great idea - Too many sales plugs 3/5
This has been a great app for me with the ability to track my meds and things like blood pressure, nausea, etc. The constant notifications about prescription services or monthly vitamin deliveries are annoying. I have speciality pharmacy needs and I have to get vitamin infusions so they are of no help to me. I’d pay for the app without these notices. Also would like to be able to add trackers for things like fatigue or mark on my schedule when I’ve eaten. Since the last update things aren’t saving and I’ve logged into find an entire day of med tracking gone :-( Lots of potential! Needs some tweaking
Good program, wish I could utilize all the features 5/5
By Two Rivers Meadow
I admit, I downloaded this app, so I could have an easy to use program to record medical appointments, notes for appointments, medications, etc.
I’m impressed with the pharmacy features, but disappointed that I can’t utilize the pharmacy. The pharmacy, is out of network for my Medicare plan.
They’ve made an annoying app worse! 2/5
Yesterday’s “improvement” made this app much more annoying. Now, when I try to record taking my meds, the app pops up with a screen that wants me to learn about how to buy meds through the app. I don’t want to buy meds through the app! And although the screen has an “x” at the upper right that’s supposed (I assume) to make it go away, IT WON’T GO AWAY! Until now, the app has been useful, despite it’s annoying and uncontrollable behavior. Since yesterday’s update, I’m thinking of dumping it!
In general, I love the app, but... 2/5
I’m with Larry Oyres. The app is much more difficult to use now. I would pay to be able to go in & use without all the interference. I have recommended the app to many people. No longer. At the moment I am locked in a loop where you’ve asked for the pharmacy information. As a military dependent, I don’t have to pay for my prescriptions. Please do the same thing for me that you said you did for Larry. Turn all these ads off. Also, please put the feature that imported the Rx number when I take a picture of the label. The older I get, the worse my vision gets. I can zoom in on the number until I can read it easily once it is on my phone.
Extremely Helpful 5/5
I enjoy this app because it puts all my meds on my iPhone. Very helpful!!
Most user unfriendly since the new update 3/5
I just spent 15 minutes looking for the “trackers” part of this app. It USED to be so easy to access. Now one has to really search the app to find the trackers & I’m sure everything else on the app. May have to find another help app hmmmm
The Update Ruined My Life 2/5
I used to LOVE this app! It was my go-to calendar. I had a different calendar for everyone in the family. I could enter something on the calendar and it would immediately be on my husband’s calendar on his phone too! It was magical. But ever since the latest update, I CAN’T SEE ALL MY CALENDARS AT ONCE! It’s a nightmare for someone that has a husband and children pulling them 957269 different ways at once! Please change it back to where I can view them all at once again (or tell me if there is a way that I’m just missing). 😩
Not what I was looking for 1/5
When I downloaded this app I thought I was getting a nifty tool to assist with me staying on track with my medications.
However, what I got was an in your Face app pushing those things they want to make money on!
Bottomline, after all the hype to switch to their Pharamacy and other items to sign up for the app does keep me reminded to take and refill items before needed.
If you try be prepared for the Hype!!!
Service is good 3/5
Way to many updates and how can we pick updates if possible
Track second profile disappeared 3/5
Before the current update, I could also track my spouse as a separate profile in my dashboard. Necessary because my spouse is not tech savvy. Sharing doesn’t do it. I need the other profile in my dashboard. Am I missing something?
Don’t like 1/5
Do not like new set up. Not user friendly!
Richard Vore 1/5
I can no longer print my medication list and when I try to send them a message about this it won’t go thru
What a helper! 5/5
Not sure how I could handle things without this app. I’m helping a friend that just had a quadruple bypass and we live 80 miles apart but Care Zone keeps us both on the same page for his healthcare.
Could be better app 2/5
I have emailed support because all
I’m looking for is a simple app to store my meds, dosages, and allergies that I can print or email on demand. All The reports don’t print allergies and you have to “rig” the app by typing the world “allergy” before the medication name to identify a medication as an allergy. The reports print inactive meds or meds you are no longer taking and you can turn that feature off. Support was of little help and developers don’t listen to bugs and quick fixes to make their app better.
Very helpful. Refer to it often.
So far, so good. 4/5
Can’t figure out how to delete a duplicate med I entered.
Also, there should be a way to connect this with other apps like the Apple Health, MyFitnessPal, Pacer, sleep cycle, and especially FMHmobile and Mychart.
Would be great for everything to be shared between health apps automatically. Filling in trackers manually these days is behind the curve. Also, you should be able to open the app with a PIN and/or the fingerprint sensor.
Besides that, looking good so far.
I’ll adjust my rating as improvements are made (hopefully!)
No prices 1/5
I’ve tried to use Care Zone as a replacement for my local pharmacy (for prescriptions) and Costco (for vitamins) but found that I have to call for prices and you are NOT competitive.
We LOVE CareZone and I am always recommending it to anyone that needs a super easy way to keep track of their medications. I have mine, my wife’s, and now I have even put in the medications for my cat (it’s that easy to use).
PLEASE OFFER A PAID VERSION!🔜 1/5
Use camera to scan med labels/bottles so you don’t have to add all the info yourself.
Share info with loved ones or caregiver.
Journal, ER contacts, pain meters etc. there is just so much great use from this app I would give it 5 stars but... see cons
Cons: Ads!!! Every time you use it an ad comes up about buying or saving on some medical stuff. Also ads pop up if you use the notifications options. Which is probably the reason you get this app.

Wonderful program, just don’t EVER forget your password, otherwise you are in for a lot of trouble! Have to wait for days to get a new password.
I like 5/5
This app makes it real easy to keep track of my meds & to show the nurse.
Users! explore general settings 2/5
You'll find ways to uuniversally turn off bothersome things like notifications, automatic updates and in app ratings. Those are big things I see making people feel frustrated with apps across the board.
Overall, it's pretty useful but it needs improvement and options for using it differently.
Prior to February, 2018 I said this:
[Hey all. Turn off notifications for this in your settings unless you want them. I can't tell you exactly where they are, based on your version of operating system but you can probably search within settings or ask Siri. 'k?
Help it run smoothly:
Get rid of the ad for prepackaged meds I see every single time I enter a medication.
Let me see a date on my main inventory page so I know which one is most recent, oldest, etc. I want to keep a record of the 1st prescription, changes and most recent. The rest I delete but don't want to run through them all to figure out what to delete if I haven't kept up. (Edit- my fix= to inactivate the historical meds and add the date of the recent fill or new med on the top line. It works. I decided it's important to have my running history even though it appears the same for a couple years for some things. I have the storage so why not?)]
Increase flexibility to use it differently:
I use it as inventory, history and dosage. That's it. No reminders for refills or taking my meds. I have my notifications turned off; I'd like to also turn off all reminders within the app since it clutters the app.
Easier access to prescription dates increases the inventory function.
Edit- 11/17/17 Why can't the scanner interpret the prescription number and date, prescribing physician, pharmacy ... even the manufacturer and imprint if I wanted it to? Why do I have to add those when they're as plain as the nose on my face and the medication name it does manage to read? It could be insanely quick instead of mind numbingly slow and laborious for no good reason.
I'll keep you at 2 stars for a month or until I get a response but am willing to drop to a single evil star even though that looks so nasty. Spare yourself!
I sent the following to customer service since I haven't heard anything: I don't understand why the app is unable to transfer more information from a prescription to the inventory. It reads the name, date, ummm… oh yeah- instructions, so why do I have to enter the prescriber, pharmacy name, manufacturer, prescription number, refills, markings, etc? It takes too long when it should take mere seconds to verify the information. I would prefer to not have to turn off reminders for each medication as well. I spend too long with this app every month instead of just snapping 4 photos (although 3 will usually do it), filling in at least five fields, turning off reminders, inactivating last month…
Streamline it folks. Someone is developing a better app and I'm going to defect unless you get your act together, ok?
After November, 2017 when I left the review stating the app should read all information provided on the prescription label I emailed customer service to make the same point. Kudos to them for replying… opposite of kudos for misunderstanding, disregarding or ignoring my question because their answer was "the app doesn't read all the information on the label because the app doesn't read all the information on the label". I knew that. 🙄
It occurred to me if I were able to have a photo of the label some of my information would be available: date script was written, refills, manufacturer, etc but I know you all can do better.
Great way to keep track of health 5/5
I keep a daily record of my weight and blood glucose For my doctor it also stores all my meds for when I go to a new doctor. It can also order meds but I don’t use that feature this app is a great health resource
Best App ever! 5/5
I'm one of those lucky ones who has to take 21 different medications daily. Thanks to Care Zone I can actually keep track of all my meds and keep my many physicians up to date on all of the with 1 or 2 key strokes! Thanks again!
Everything I need, but one thing I don't think 4/5
Carezone is exactly what I need to keep track of my meds and remind me to take them.
The alerts, especially on my Apple watch, are extremely helpful.
I use it when doctor's offices want me to fill out a page with all the meds I take. Rather than sit writing for 20 minutes, trying to remember the mg's, I simply open Carezone and then email the list.
All the doctors and nurses who see it are very impressed. I think they wish all patients could send such detailed information in such neat printing!
The only thing I don't like has been mentioned by others. I don't want to switch to their Rx services, and the other things they sell.
Those alerts get in the way of using the app. And are really n the way when I'm trying to get my info in a hurry.
I would easily spend $9.99 a year to get the app without their ads. And even more if I could tie it to my CVS or Wallgreens apps.
I did have a problem when some really weird dosing reminders caused my data to get corrupted. I emailed customer support which fixed the problem very promptly on their back-end server.
One more suggestion would be to have a large type setting. Considering how. Any old people need meds, small text is hard to read.
Do Not Need You Or Your Company 3/5
I have all my prescriptions filled through Optum RX. I have had all my medications filled with them for ten years and I am totally satisfied. Please remove me from your files and please end all contact with me.Thank You, Lawrence Kilbane
Making Something Stressful a Joy 5/5
By Allison at DailyOutfit
CareZone turned the difficult task of keeping all my family members apprised of the ongoing health care issues for my Father a joy.
I was able to record things in the moment (photos, anecdotes, visits) and share them with my family while also recording questions, caregiver questions and comments with everyone.
As my Father’s health deteriorated, we also added his Nurse Care Manager to the app so we could get her immediate feedback on his care. This was immensely valuable.
Finally, CareZone provided us with a holistic view of my Dad’s care so we could all see — and track — how he was doing.
In a big family like ours, this was invaluable.
As he has now passed, it helped my mourning process to be able to look back at the recent past and see how he changed over the past few months and come to closure.
Thank you, CareZone for making something that was so stressful a joy! I really appreciate it and recommend it to everyone!!

I have been looking for this exact thing. If I knew how I would have created it myself. Thank you creators! So far I have used it only two days along with my team of caregivers. I have a live in Alzheimer’s client. Her loved ones can view the journal and see she is in good hands. I also love the mood tracker. Tracking combative behavior is essential in this field. Along with happy of course!
We are able to support each other with the comment section in the journal entries.
I can’t seem to shut off the email notifications. Only down side but no big deal compared to all the good.
