The worst fantasy site by far. The only reason we stay is because they have our historical data. No changes. Draft room is from 20 years ago. No good way to organize and prepare for draft. From the app and iPad you cannot even view the standings categories. While innovation and technology has vastly improved over the last 5-10 years, this service hasn’t adapted at all. Go to espn.
Some things about this app are so frustrating.
The head to head sore on the main “scoring” screen never lines up with the live scoring until the next morning.
Owning Shohei Ohtani is a mess. You can’t switch him from hitter to pitcher without the app crashing, and unlike every other pitcher, the date that he’s starting a game in the mound doesn’t appear, and neither does the green baseball indicator. He’s been in the league for 4 years. This needs to have been solved by now.
Outdated, inconsistent, full of errors for the past 3 years. 1/5

The only thing reliable about this app is how absolutely terrible it is. Compared to yahoo and ESPN it is a dinosaur. For example, the last version (even when updated) will constantly show lineup status on the wrong day, meaning you don’t exactly which day you’re setting your lineup for unless you navigate the day to the past and then reload it to the present day to clear the incorrect data.
The lineup page shows no stats unlike yahoo or ESPN. Same goes with roster trends or probable pitchers under “research.” With yahoo I can see how my players performed for the last period, 14 days, etc.; see add/drop trends. No dice with this app.
The probable pitchers data is almost always wrong. It will continually list injured, demoted, or simply pitchers who have been relegated to the bullpen in starting slots and you have to constantly check the MLB app to make sure the lineups are correct.
We’ve had a dynasty league for 16 years on CBS. The web browser API is far far superior but none of those features translate into an app. But we’re at the point where we’re ready to take our business elsewhere because in 2021 you need a functioning mobile app.
Believe every 1 star review you’ve read. The fact that CBS doesn’t care about this product is a joke when they were once a leader in the market. This is undoubtedly the worst, and until they care to update the API, they don’t deserve your money (or loyalty).
Best baseball fantasy app there is. 5/5
By Sportin Wood
Bar none! Love it! Easy to use! Nothing more to say!
Ye olde 5-star review 5/5
By glomer pyle
I started listening to the cbs fantasy baseball podcast before this season starts, it’s great because I get a lot of sabremetric info on players that helps me determine if I should hate-drop an underperforming player or hold on for a bit longer to wait for regression to do its thing.
I have a question: What is the last line of the Friday “Kokomo” song after “raisins are shriveled grapes”, as Frank keeps stepping on that last lyric?
Lastly, I would like to submit my team name for Team Name Tuesday: Tatis All, Folks. Every time Fernando tatis misses time with an injury, I feel like my season is over, hence my team name.
Horrible app 1/5
If you thought their website was bad their app is worse.
New info 3/5
Sometimes new info is slow to be updated.

This app is terrible, very basic. Must use full site for many things and site is not Mobil friendly. For an paid site you’d expect better than what free sites offer.
Terrible app and CBS has no desire to improve it.
Fantasy Baseball 5/5
I’m retired and it’s been the best source of entertainment that I can think of that you can do rain or shine. The information that’s supplied is terrific and makes you feel just like a manager. It keeps me out of my wife’s hair for hours and hours.
App freezes every time I use it. Interface itself is solid. Wish it was easy to see players’ matchups like it is going through browser
My fantasy teams 5/5
Ever since update app doesn’t show all my fantasy leagues whether I hide them or I hide them. I have tried everything. My phone is my only source of running my teams and now I can’t do baseball. I give this update negative stars.
Needs work 1/5
In game updates are erratic, scoring often stops. I prefer other fantasy apps to this one.
Probable Pitchers 3/5
Would like easier functionality to review probable pitchers and inserting them in lineup on the App. On the desktop version it was a simple blue baseball icon that alerted us.
Can’t log in 5/5
Is there a problem with the app? I can’t log in. Online is ok, but not my iPhone app.
Having an issue logging in on the app. 3/5
I been fantasy baseball and I’ve had no problems with the app up until now. The app randomly logged me out and I can not log back in. I even tried resetting my password. When I use the website browser I have no problems logging into my account, on the app I enter my same member ID and password and error message comes up. “Could not authenticate” “Expected status code in (200-299), got 503” please help I do not want to have to use the mobile web browser on my phone to continue with the season.
If your league uses traditional roto scoring, this app is frustrating and irritating to use. The “Scores” screen shows the standings for the current period. In a roto league, this information is meaningless because weekly results are not relevant in the final results. It is the same with what is posted in the notification center. What is shown is not an accurate account of the actual league standings. Most of the owners in my league manage our teams on our phones and unless there is an update to make it more friendly for leagues that play by traditional rules, we will move to another service next season. This service and this app has been the gold standard of fantasy baseball for leagues for a long time. It is frustrating but also sad that it no longer is. Update 5/4/21. I’ve reached out to CBS Sports customer support and received the typical “we’re aware of the issue” response. Issue not fixed and my well deserve one star rating remains.
Not too user friendly 3/5
By Animal Mother4
Few ideas to help make the app better. Allow users to tap on a players name at any screen to bring up their stat page. And not a new page but a small separate box for quick reference. Also, in any cbs generated emails for trade offers or trade blocks, include the players contract and price. That’s super important info to know and streamslines the process.
Crashes and bugs need fixing 3/5
App crashes when scrolling down homepage to check on recent add/drops.
When looking at hitter vs pitcher matchups.. all pitchers says they have a 0-0 record with a 0.00 ERA. Also all hitters and pitchers do not have any previous data on hits and ABs against.
Game tracker not working 1/5
I’ve asked for assistance for weeks and still nothing. Great use of money.
App Review 1/5
Too many steps to navigate, confusing
I’ve been trying to get our commissioner to change platforms
Information seems like it’s not in places where it should be
Here’s another example:
I need to enter a nickname to send this review. 4 of the nicknames are already taken. CBS inquired my response, why am I having to enter nicknames? Dumb.
New update 2/5
The newest update has completely shut down my app.
Please get some good coders. 2/5
Sooo many stats errors. Pitchers have batting averages, league scores are constantly wrong... and no way to just look at my team’s “scoring” league setting without going to players tab. Very frustrating app.

2 blind squirrels could develop a better app for fantasy baseball. For the love of acorns, how does a ‘period’ relate in any way to baseball?
By Ed Hotnix
Played the same type of league with the same guys here for years. This year they want us to pay for the same type of league. I’m in the same league but public and we don’t have to pay. Sorry, CBS. We bolted for ESPN
Doesn’t work well 1/5
Stats on the my team page show 0’s once you scroll.
Changing between ‘current’ and ‘ytd’ also screws up the data values.
It looks nicer than the old version, but the ok’d version actually let you see your players stats without having to view them on the player profile page.
It is fun 5/5
It is really fun does have quite a few glitches like you can’t read about your player and can definitely be confusing but overall I would say this is a great fantasy platform
Clumsy app. 4/5
By r u kidding me 1967
App is clumsy. Searching all over for how to swap active and reserve player. Thus should be easy to find. Get a user experience team.
Not user friendly at all I never know who is in the starting line up
Or which pitcher is starting .
Load Time 1/5
Not sure about other platforms, but load time for this app is ridiculously slow on iPhones.
Slow and always behind 2/5
If you choose to use CBS for fantasy baseball, I hope you have a desktop to actually manage your team.

Delivers great fun in a time we need more great fun !
Period points 5/5
This periods points need to be in the drop down. Not overview or last 7 days
CBS has gone way down hill 1/5
CBS used to have the best commissioner product and charged a premium for it. Now they have a substandard product yet still charge a premium.
First, live scoring didn’t work on opening day. Guess it kind of snuck up on them.
Now the app shows standings on a weekly basis, not yearly. Which would be great if this was a head to head league, but it’s not.
Overall, CBS has been awful this year and will be shopping for another product.
Doesn't align with desktop stats 1/5
Once again. Second year in a row, after I emailed CBS last year...the app shows different running stats in each category in my roto league compared to the desktop. Even runs scored are not the same. So you can SORT of keep track on the app. But it's not accurate. And you have to go to desktop version to really see where you stand. Bush league. And annoying. **edit** Still happening years later. Amazing. We pay for this. Time to switch to yahoo.
The web-site and app used to be easy to navigate. Now it's impossible to find the convoluted path to get done what you need to get done. If you use an Apple device, you have limited functionality. They just want your money and have limited development. For example, they still have no way to have a player like Shohei Ohtani be able to contribute offensively and as a pitcher in the same scoring period. HE HAS BEEN IN MLB FOR FOUR YEARS! Inexcusable.
Too many simple issues not fixed 1/5
Cant sort stat categories on the app, cbs programming forces any once Minor league player such as kopech for example to now be on active roster but in our league we have IP restrictions that allow him to still be minors player but every single day we have to manually force him back down to minors. Some projections are WAY off, such as rosenthal of A’s posting 35+ saves but having 5+ era, or Trevor williams of SD showing 35+ saves but only 7K’s, so using espn for projections.
No dynamic scoring updates. Filtering limits for players and teams.
Glitches right out of the gates 1/5
For how expensive it is to continue running our league through CBS each year, we had hoped for better from the app. As commish of my league I spent way too much time last week trying to figure out why half of my league was getting a blank screen when they searched for free agents post draft. Extra bells and whistles do you no good when the basics aren’t available
Not a good start 1/5
The live scoring works okay but still has many glitches. Some players points don’t register or go away and come back. Way too many lineup glitches and no transaction counter. Can’t see players fantasy point game log easily.
Not worth $150 1/5
How can a site charge $150 for Fantasy Baseball. And be worse than the Free Yahoo! CBS Shame on you!! A total robbery
This app and this fantasy league is the biggest waste of money I’ve ever had. The free espn league is and app is 100x better. Might have to switch from this mid season it’s so bad.
Fantasy functions so so 2/5
Can’t sort players by categories
Add/drop confusing compared to other sites. Yahoo does it great
Need more data for team. Last 7 days 14 days.
Data takes too long to load (compared to other sites)
Box score for my team is too hard to read (again, look at how yahoo or ESPN does it).
Searching to find best free agent is hard because you can’t sort data easy
New update messed up my app 5/5

Your new update messed up my app I no longer can add drop players it stopped after the update
Steadily going downhill, at light speed. 1/5
By Darth Skynet
It seems as if CBS either downsized their QC department, or eliminated it altogether.
This app is LAUGHABLY antiquated. The interface is extremely slow and clunky. Random features will just be non-functioning, depending on the day of the week. At the time of this review, the fun “Quirk of the Day” is that no players cards are available for viewing under the “Add Players” feature. Like....... NO PLAYER CARDS. ZERO. Super excited to see what new and exciting malfunction tomorrow will bring us!
I’ve been in CBS leagues for about 10 years, now, baseball & football. Since early 2020, it has plummeted to lows I couldn’t previously have anticipated or imagined. If there is not a drastic recovery over the course of the ‘21 baseball season, I will be moving both my baseball & football leagues (that I commission) to a different site.
Like....... ANY different site.
Great for fantasy drafts
