I use the chase online app nearly daily. The new software upgrade is not an improvement as the previous version was easy to use, and easy to navigate through. Try finding your ‘pending’ online payments on this new version. I am not a fan at all. may consider doing online banking elsewhere after 30+ years!

The new app is worthless, please send the programmer back to school. The look and function is that of a 1st year programmer at a juco. Please go find a 14 year old to right your code. I will be looking for other options for cards and online banking. I have used this system for years with absolute satisfaction, but you are making my life miserable with this app. Hard to believe that this company put this product out there. Amateurs!

Just like some of your other reviewers. Chase bank has been our family and our children’s family bank, depended on you your alerts of internet buying that wasn’t us. I had no problems UNTIL, this new app. I tried & tried until they suspended my account. I followed your instructions to a T right password & right account name( you replied they were wrong.) I had just used them 1/2hr. before they were RIGHT then. Then I upgraded! Then got your code I wrote it down,& follow your instructions! I put it in & you rejected it,& rejected,even requested a new code failed. My 47yr. son tried rejected! He is a professor at Ohio State. He wanted to call Chase Bank, we’ve both been long time customers.Now days I am a senior fighting cancer and up to now your bank was great! Letting us transfer funds pay our bills on line as fast as a push of a key on our mobile devices. Now you updated your app and we are left no access to your services to pay bills to transfer our money so please (fix) this bug. Because not only myself, but others would love to depend on CHASE bank and your services again!

I do not like this new app because you have too many steps to look at your different accounts. I like seeing them altogether like the old app. Why can’t the customer chose which one they prefer. After all we are the customer. I have been with Chase a very long time and have many accounts. I will be thinking if I want to stay with them.

There needs to be an option to dispute a charge within the transaction list.
I don’t understand the logic behind the current method: Go to computer, logon to Chase, navigate to Message Center, then send a message to customer service to open a dispute.
Yes, the other option is to call in, but who wants to wait on hold to talk to rep, especially when it can be done faster through the app.

I have used my iPad and I phone for years without a hitch. You new one is the most useless piece of junk I have ever tried to use. Won’t work on either one. Doesn’t “recognize my computer, iPad, phone, I’d, password. I’ve paid bills from the South Pacific using same iPad and phone, same I’d name, same password, and you code sent to my iPhone didn’t help. Tried over and over on all 3 units. Whoever the genius was who changed everything...

Previously the app was crashing when I logged in, but I was able to get it resolved. Turns out the cache on my app and my phone was causing it, customer service was very helpful in that regard. For that, I will rate it 5 stars again! Thank you!

I’m not especially liking the new format over the old one, except for the running balance. It’s harder to read and maneuver. I preferred seeing all the most recent transactions on one screen, rather than only the three newest. And I don’t see an improvement with the sign-in screen. Go back to the old one!
The old app was much more user friendly to pay credit card bills. Kept telling me my password was wrong when it wasn’t. Had to get multiple codes sent because it didn’t recognize my device, the same one I always use. . I had to submit the payment numerous times before it went thru.

The new app is not user friendly. The navigation is clunky, it was easy to do what was needed and find what was needed in the previous interface. Current UI is not intuitive at all. Looks more like a website and less like a mobile app.
Too wasteful of space 3/5
The previous version used 41 mb on my IPAD. This version uses 120 mb plus 60 mb when I signed in & scheduled one payment from my checking account.
Checking acct Transaction display does not include a running total after each trans, yet each trans displays as 3 lines of info.
Running totals were eliminated from credit card accts a few updates back. I hate that. Chase knows what the running total is, so why not include that? Easy fix Chase - do it!

Every time I sign on I am told that my ID and PW are incorrect. So then I go through the entire change PW dance again. That works exactly ONCE. Try again, and ID and PW incorrect. I give up. I have just deleted this app now and forevermore.

Redesign okay. Still functions as always after you get used to new interface. No big issues.
But there is at least one serious software issue. Selecting information about my credit cards brings me to the cards, but selecting “see statements” brings me to my checking account statements. Not my error; tried six times.
Called Chase technical line, but got regular “customer service” who couldn’t address issue. Transfered to “credit card issues” department, who couldn’taddress, and lambasted customer service for turning me over to them.
I indicated that I had a personal banker at our local branch, and was told to contact him.

Worst app ever I will be quitting chase I was forced to upgrade before it was simple and direct now it’s nothing but confusion way to go chase you just lost my business.
Can no longer see what was paid out of my checking account on daily basis if I want and what my current balance is. You can’t easily see due date of credit card payment when you open app.

Annoying you have to update it anytime you have to use it. I over drafted because i didn’t have service to update and couldn’t check my balance.

It’s been working flawlessly now for a few months.
This app loses two stars due to failed attempts to deposit checks with Smartphone.
I hold my breath with each deposit. 30-40% of time it says image not clear
Try again or deposit at atm.
Sometimes multiple attempts finally work.
My other 2 bank apps work 95% of time.
The other functions of app work well.
Why do I have to go to the App Store to be able to log on with my iPad?. I am not comfortable having to go outside the chase site in order to access my accounts.

This app is fabulous. The only thing I wish they would change is allowing more than 1 payment a day. I like to pay my charges ASAP and individually so I can keep track of everything. While I can pay the entire amount of all my charges in a day I have to wait until I’m done shopping and then it’s not as easy to track.

I liked the App before. It is extremely frustrating to me when changes are made, and the things I used to rely on are removed or changed and not for the better. I hate the fact that now the account is huge and you can only see 7 transactions on one phage. I think it’s ridiculous that you can’t see what’s going on in your account anymore. You have to flip back and forth and it’s still hard to read. I really hate this new App. It’s quite annoying. I definitely do not like the new configuration at all.

Your requiring an update to get to my accounts that I have been able to use for 14 years has coursed me to be blocked from my account access. This is totally unacceptable and will cause me to search for another bank that is more friendly to their customers. I called for support and was told they could or would not help me and I should contact apple, which I did and I am still blocked. My advise to all chase customers is leave if they cannot help resolve the problems with their app.

Cannot see account balances once in the app, all I see is legal, But cannot go further. Very frustrating.
If you and you’re kids can starve for a week while your check is being deposited online (cuhz that’s how long it’s taking for me) then this is the app for you👍 but not for me🖕. Honestly After this ima get Bank of America cuhz the check you are depositing will go in that same day.(which is Unlike chase where you’ll be on hold for a month and all that hard earned money jus collects dust cuhz you can’t spend it!! Not on food, clothes, nor transportation. Moral of This review is I had a bad first time experience Because I chose to deposit my check online not realizing it would take a month and now I gotta suffer, not chase obviously they get there money at the end of the day and not me.

The revised and updated app is an extremely poor replacement for the superior system previously used. The graphics and numbers are too small and lack contrast to be visualized easily. The pathways are convoluted and difficult to follow. The information is harder to scan and interpret at a glance. A dismal attempt of “improvement!”

As this being my first use of the new app...I’m not happy with changes. I’m sure I’ll get use to it.
I feel out of sync with the app, but I’m sure after using it, I’ll feel better, right now, I just not happy.
