Thank you Chris. After being scammed by air bnb and told I’d get my money back in 15 days Chris came to my rescue and bent over backwards to make sure I had a warm place to stay for the cold night in Colorado. I can’t thank you enough. I’ve never seen real customer service like this. Thank you he made me feel like I was his family the world needs more real people like Chris. Hotel was great, nice room, nice breakfast, staff in the breakfast room were friendly, but mostly wanted to say thanks to Randi at the front desk, she’s exceptional! She explained everything, was extremely pleasant, and efficient! That’s pretty rare these days!!!

Your website and the app say your hotels are pet friendly. My last stay at a Choice Hotel I was informed they do not accept cats. If you don’t accept cat say so on the website and the app. I don’t want to make reservations that are turned down when I arrive at the hotel.

This company that is being used as a way to convert your points into cash is not secure. I converted some of my points to cash through this company that is linked to Choice for the process and the company would not allow me access to my account with them or the money that was already converted to cash due to verification issues. I started this process in November on 17th of 2022. They requested photos of driver’s license front and back including a photo of me holding my driver’s license, I refused at first because it was already verified because they had already issued me a card with the money already applied to it. I waited a day or 2 just going about life did not think nothing of it I go back in to use the money finally and I am locked out my account and to contact support via email I immediately did that and received a follow up email stating they need to verify my account with instructions, verify?!? I thought that was done already. I did not send in requested information because it was already verified through the app and a card with money was already issued. I told them I am not sending in anymore of my personal information, but eventually I did a month or 2 later and spoke with one of their representatives Ayanna Snowden, actually spoke to her twice about this issue. The second time I spoke with her it was about the photos I eventually sent. The reason Incalled was to ask if the email I sent the day before was with said verification was received and she informed me that she could see it with the photos attached and it would still take an additional 5 to 7 days to verify. Those days came and went and still no access, I emailed several times and called to speak with a supervisor, I was then informed that they do not have a supervisor and I had to leave my number so one could call me back, I have yet to receive a call or email with help with this issue. They then finally give me access February 2023 to add my bank account information to add the money to my bank … Umm heck NO I sent yal my DL front and back and a photo of me. They gifted me 10$ for the inconvenience I told them I did not want any money gift I wanted my money from my points that they took and would not give back after they were converted but denied me access to my account and informed me that the process can not be undone, so my identity was verified like I stated before I am a Diamond member. Not a reliable resource to use for your loyal customers this is why I have not stayed or used my points. Bad look for Choice.

Sleep Inn Sumter SC. We were given keys to 2 rooms.: one was not cleaned and other already occupied ( very embracing) to open door on strangers. By the the 3 rd was issued. We were really ready to change hotels. But money was already paid in advance. So we endured it. All night long door slammed repeatedly on the 2nd floor of our stay.

What’s wrong with your app? Every time I try to do a search for hotels in Texas. I get an error and it tells me to retry. I have retried more times than I can count. So, I decided to delete the app and reinstall it, that didn’t work either.

The hotel was very clean and staff was very friendly. Breakfast was great.
My only complaint is that the water in the bathroom shower and sink was only lukewarm at best.

This program used to make sense for me. I was getting reasonable hotel stay value compared to other credit card offerings. I’m the past couple of years they have doubled the average points needed to book a stay and have offered less meaningful promotions. Buying points is an absolute ripoff! Do the math on what you pay for points vs. the cash price of the hotel. It’s not even close. Disappointing. I’m switching my primary credit card to one that offers 2% cash back, and IF the Choice Hotel family of accommodations can have competitive cash pricing, I may stay there again. I’ll be shopping all hotels on price and quality now that I don’t have any incentive to stick to Choice Hotels. It was a good run. It remains to be seen if I’ll be back.

On our 2 day trip to the Florida RV show this year We stayed at Quality Inn & Suites Tampa/Brandon. The room was very comfortable and the staff was extremely nice and helpful. Charlie checked us both in and out the next morning. He was especially helpful friendly and upbeat. We would definitely stay here again.

This hotel will not allow ANY check in’s until 3.pm. They have people in lobby for hours be they can not check in. It would seem like it would be better to charge for early check in. Does not make it easy for guest.

App is great! It’s easy to use and usually has some good deals on hotels. I travel for work and this app makes it 100% easier to find hotels. Only reason it’s not 5 stars is, it doesn’t save my credit card info and I have to type it in every time. Not a huge deal.

This app has changed several times. Never gets better. Finally had to stop using Choice since I could not get into my account without constantly deleting the app then reinstalling. Try Marriott, their app is easy, rewards are fair, hotels good etc
Sorry to leave Choice, just couldn’t deal with the lack of a user friendly site as most of my reservations had to be done on the road through my phone

WARNING!!!!! Please do not join Choice Privileges!!! Don’t do business with these SHADY PEOPLE! My sister booked a cruise through choice privileges! The website isn’t user friendly at all! She paid a total of 1053.51 and every time she recieced an email it was something different. Every time she logged into make a payment the website said something different! After numerous phone calls this issue still hasn’t been resolved. Last night she called and the cruise still hadn’t been canceled through choice privileges. After spending an hour and forty minutes on the
Phone with Mattie a “supervisor” Leigh was supposed to call back and never did. My sister woke up to an email advising that the cruise is canceled! They refunded a total of 198.54 back to her out of 1053.51 - they said Carnival canceled the cruise because a missed payment- She never once dealt with Carnival and had a 10 day grace period with Choice Privleges! They said they called and left a voicemail on 11/03 to notify her of cancelation! (This call was never received) The final payment wasn’t due until 11/13 - final payment was made on 11/23 —- She logged in to get the information to go to Carnival website to book and it said she owed 150.00 more! They advises Carnival sent out an email on 11/28 canceling the cruise. She told them that she never recieved an email and the email shouldn’t be coming from Carnival when all business has been done through Choice Priveleges! They have stole her money and refuse to talk to her to make things right! I will be posting a negative review everywhere possible because no one will even reach out to really discuss this matter after numerous promised call backs.

I have stayed over 50 times with Choice Hotels in May states. I have only had 2 times that were not acceptable. That was on Dec. 29 at Sleep Inn on Willis!! I booked 2 rooms. They was dirty, the young lady was rude & not helpful. Not being professional with the customer. They charged for the very first time in 20 years $50 on my card not to be refunded for 7-10 days!!! That was & is uncalled for!!! Makes me forget the good time with Choice. Choice you loose me after all these year if you have other hotel workers this unprofessional.

The points program is just as sketchy as their dilapidated and rundown Hotels. You better hire an attorney to read their terms and conditions because they don’t want to have to give you points, not even the points you supposedly earned. All I can say is good luck, after eight stays I finally figured out this program is Janky and disingenuous at best. I would highly recommend staying away from this chain.

My husband and I stayed at Suburban Suites in Avondale, La. Our stay was absolutely amazing. The Staff went above and beyond, to make sure we were satisfied. The room was absolutely Great!!!! The site was very clean and well kept. The site manager Ms Churell Winston, is a Beautiful Angel and she performs her duties with extreme Love and Care. I really appreciate her and her assistance.

Was a awful experience. We had a group of 5 rooms and everyone had a bad room. The service was awful and the front desk rude. This was the Quality Inn conference center in Citrus Hills Fl. A rating of 1.

I stay at hotels soo much, they are pretty much my home. I do enjoy choice hotels, they’ve come a long way.
They have a promotion stating if you book 2 nights, you get 20% off. Awesome right? So the fine print says the same plus “book 2 nights at least a week in advance”.
Another promotion is stay twice and get a free night. Pretty sweet? If it were true.
Now for the lie, you don’t get 20% off if you book a week out. Just remove that from the website. I’ve tested it out multiple times with complete failure.
Second, this isn’t a complete lie, but you can stay 2 nights and get points for a free stay but the points you get… hahaha. You can get enough points for a free night but it’ll be at the nastiest, roach and bed bug riddled place that is listed at 1 star out of 5 with a nightly cost of only $35 for the night. Wouldn’t stay if you paid me and as it turns out THEY DID (with points).
I enjoy ya choice, just don’t lie. The Hiltons are calling and you don’t want me leaving get it together.

I’ve had nothing but problems with this app all it will do is say error retry. My phone is up to date password and email hasn’t changed. Nobody from choice won’t return calls or emails to resolve whatever the issue is. I’d definitely would like to use my points this ridiculous

They do terrible business the info between them and the hotels the book with is not congruent and if you are ever wrongfully charged good luck getting a refund… i tried to do it the nice way but calling and explaining the discrepancy between hotel info and the info on choice and the lady i spoke tried to tell me that I made a mistake all while subtly calling me a liar they tried to offer me points like they are incapable of a refund unless the hotel gives it I put a stop payment on the transaction and had my account frozen so no pending transaction will go through good luck beating my bank

Error finding hotels? Signing in had errors of some kind. So I went to book without signing in, but that had some error too? So tried updating iphone and app. Still same errors. Next try was to message support from here, but ‘Acea’s denied’. So will book with Hilton instead, I guess. There website seems to be up and running all the time.
Tried again today: still same issues. All other web experiences seem to be ok, so it must be a choice hotel issue. App deleted.

We stayed at the Quality Inn and Suites in Gorham, New Hampshire October 14th and 15th 2022 and we were very disappointed.
No Hot breakfast
No hot water for a shower
Not enough clean towels
Dirty pool area
No Fitness center
Probably won’t return there. We have been coming there for years under a different name…Royalty Inn and it was much cleaner.

I arrived in Atlanta, settled in the hotel and asked for a deposit of $100, the hotel paid from the card, and the deposit left in cash $100, in the morning took the deposit and left, in an hour opened a bank account, and saw that I withdrew $100 deposit, and so for the second time, it is better to choose a hotel above the level that costs $250, than to pay the same money for a low level, the deposit on the card is not returned, do not pay the card, here is deceived.

This review pertains solely to the app (not any Choice hotel … which is where I routinely stay at). I tried to book a room using my points. I knew I only had enough points for a few nights, but not all, but the app would not let me book it that way (would not apply points and then add the monetary amount I needed for the additional nights). Instead I had to book one night with points, then do a completely separate booking for the remaining nights (for cash). It creates room for error (what if I applied the second date wrong ? I expect it to cause confusion at the front desk ! Etc.)
Yes - I know it is a minor inconvenience … which means it is then a minor fix on the app !!!

I reserved my room on line when I arrived they are in the process of doing a remodel however that should not be the excuse of lazy workers.
I asked for a room on the first floor being disabled with a service dog.
Walking into the room on the 2nd floor the room stunk so bad the carpet was filthy the tv didn’t work the phone she said hasnt worked for months. They were working on the phones. The people staying here at this hotel are living here for months very ghetto hotel and guests. Was so noisy I did not feel safe at all. The advertise kitchenettes yet there aren’t any plates cups silverware anything. I would never recommend staying here for anyone filthy every where on this property. The gals that work the front desk are just ok with excuses.

Hotel service was excellent, rooms were very clean. As for your welcome to stay they don’t allow that . I lost my apartment and needed to stay a little bit in the hotel until I found something or live in the street but the hotel policy is no extended stays . They refused my service I was declined my next stay they made me go elsewhere and on top of that I don’t even drive. I’m at the worse time of my life right now and that’s how a hotel wants to treat a paying customer just like anyone else. I didn’t ask for no special deals I pay whatever anyone else did no discounts but yet I was not allowed to stay . I will make sure I let everyone I know about any Choice Hotels that is all of their policies and it is the worst policy they could ever make. They surely lost my business I’d never stay here again even if it was for free . Make sure to let your friends know about this before you use them. They turn people away that are in need of their rooms . Thank you Susan Stengel
