    When rate a 0 but thier is no option. The customer service employees do not have any respect for the customers. I made reservations online get to the place they can not even see that I made reservations. The hotel was good enough to accommodate me by giving me the same price which was wonderful. Speaking to an agent that charged my card for a reservation that I could not use he tells me I have no reason to be asking for a refund. Ok it is my money and I didn’t use the reservation because it disappeared. The hotel had to accommodate me not Choice. Choice is full of employees that lack the ability to work in the customer service field. This is pretty sad when that is your job to make the customer comfortable and not try and tell them they have no reason for a refund. It would of been a different story if I could of used my reservation but it was no where to be found until I asked to speak to a supervisor. Then when you clearly telling me I was charged twice one by cash and one by card should tell you something. I made reservations with my card online but when arriving the hotel could not even pull it up and they even called. So the hotel gave me the same price as I was charged and tried helping me get a refund from them. Choice is apparently scamming people out thier money. Beware of using Choice because if your reservation disappear you will be told you have no reason for a refund and spend time with your bank to get your money back.

    More often than not, the app does not work. It gives a message that it can’t contact the server. I have to resort to using the Choice Hotel’s web page.

    Please remove me from your mail and correspondence lists. I think your business practices border on being illegal. You held my funds on three separate occasions for an extreme amount of time. I will try to never use a Choice hotel again. I travel for business with up to a ten man crew. In the past six months, we have spent nearly four months on the road and using other accommodations. You may not notice my small loss of business. I am sure if your business model stays the same you will lose much more than my business. Thank you, David Welch

    Pulled in at 12:12 pm. We knew we were too early to get keys but wanted a lower level room as there is no elevator. We are here for five days We were very sarcastically told we had to wait till 3 pm. We came back at 3:15 and were told we had to take a second floor room. Front desk person asked two people before us if they wanted first floor. And we stuck around while she asked two more groups if they wanted a first floor room. Huh? But we were refused a first floor room. We were even told the manager wasn’t available and she had no idea when she would be available. Hmmmmm

    I was stuck at the airport because of a missed connection but Stephanie at Cambria Suites was a lifesaver. She went above and beyond checking us in and making sure we had everything we needed since we didn’t have our luggage. The room was clean and the breakfast was delicious.

    I’ve always been and still am very happy with choice hotels, but the app has suddenly become useless. Nothing but a continuous loop of: log-in, verify, oops wrong password, log-in. The only way to get my user name and password accepted is by going to the web site and bypassing the app. Inconvenient.

    I booked my room according to my sons special needs only to be really disappointed because the amenities that I payed for was not at the building they put me in. I talked to the hotel manager and they said they would love to help me but the hotel was sold out. So I called Choice for help well they transferred me, hung up on me, and pretended to help me. Needless to say they said the only way they could do anything is if I was willing to checkout. Well obviously that wasn’t going to work. I recommend only using a choice property if you are in DIRE NEED!!!!

    I hate leaving a bad review, but this one is really in order. We just stayed for the first time at a Quality Inn (Dublin, Ohio, a beautiful city!) last night. It was a bad experience, I’m afraid. The ceiling was separating from the wall, the window (which was so dirty we could hardly see out) wouldn’t close all the way, leaving it cracked open at the bottom. Good thing it wasn’t winter! There was dust on the window sills and carpet, leaving us to wonder how “clean” our room really was. The ceiling vent outside the bathroom had black spots all around and it was dripping. Wouldn’t do this hotel again. We visit Dublin several times a year.

    We stayed a weekend for a special event and woke up our first morning with no water, (which meant no toilets and no showers). At checkout we asked if we would be compensated and they put our name on a list and stated the manager would be in touch. A week later and still no contact from the hotel. I also submitted a complaint online and that to went with no response. Yes it was out of their control but you need to address your customers concerns or they will no longer be your customers!

    Stayed 28 nights with a group from my church in the worst Econolodge I’ve ever been in in Gallatin TN. First time I’d tried this get points when you stay thing. I was skeptical. Just as I thought. Never received my points. Emailed customer service and they hit me with the old “were sorry, technicalities” I’m out. Back to for me. At least they do what they advertise

    My stay at the Quality Suites Intercontinental Airport was very relaxing, my room was clean, bed was comfortable and desk clerk was very professional. I wish I was able to stay longer to enjoy the pool. The breakfast was a good way to start the day.

    Could not use this app at all, as when I tried to log in it went to a reCaptcha ‘I am not a robot’ dialog that just spins forever. C’mon, we don’t need this garbage on iOS. Especially when it’s completely broken in implementation and prevents logging in to the app.

    We traveled to Cody, Wy on July 14,2018. I reserved the room with the pay and save program it was $212. We went to check in and discovered that we could get the same room for $157. The front desk said because we prepaid they could not help with this discrepancy. I called Choice hotels Reservation Dept I was told she would email the customer relations dept. I have never received a reply, so I called customer relations today. To my dismay I was told to call the hotel, it was there problem. I told the rep that I was getting the run around so she hung up on me. A platinum member should not be treated like this.

    Do not pay ahead for your visit! The hotels will not allow you to cancel and get refunded or even give you a credit! Rain is in the forcast - 90%. it rained so bad last week, Hershey was closed for a couple of days. The hotel manager doesn’t care about the customer or that you are a member and have used their hotels for years - they only want your money! I will never again use Choice Hotels. I am very upset, disappointed and mad! I am now out of $300! Thanks Comfort Suites Hummelstown-Hershey!

    With my company I am in charge the S/W United States region. During my travels the rooms are always clean and the staff friendly. Most hotels are newly remodeled. The SINGLE best hotel is the Quality Suites in San Luis Obispo California. I love the Spanish style feel, the pool area with the decorative lighting. Oh and did I mention they have a cocktail hour!! Free beer and wine from 530 to 730. They prepare a HOT breakfast for you. ( I have never been served a hot breakfast made to order at no extra cost except here.

    Never use this company, I am a business owner and travel for business, used Choice Hotels exclusively and they have taken 16,000 points claiming they expired. Evidently, the places I had stayed failed to report my stays and they have now stole 16,000 points essentially 2 nights stay at a hotel. Won’t ever use them in the future and I recommend you don’t either! BD

    I am an employee at NY600 and actively engage in Choice Enrollment of guests. I earn several hundreds of thousands of points annually and enroll several hundred guests. Last year I had in excess of one thousand enrollments. To date this year (through 7/31)I have approximately 740 enrollments. Unlike last year when points were updated once or twice monthly I have had to call and have my points updated both in June and July and received some 117k additional point. Choice has not done them automatically in 2018. Could this please be taken care of as I would assume other employees are experiencing the same issue ?

    The staff and reception are incredible. I had not stayed in almost a year and the manager heard me talking and recognized my voice before ever seeing my face. They are committed to every patron that walks into the lobby.

    On July 21, 2028, I used the Choice mobile app to make a reservation for that night at the Comfort Suites at 5944 Scarborough in Columbus, Ohio. I arrived at the hotel to no one at the front desk. When the maintenance man appeared, he went to the back and got the young woman who was “working” at the front desk. She clearly did not want to be there. I gave her my name and she told me she had my reservation, but they had no rooms. No room for me despite the fact that I had a confirmed reservation with a confirmation number! At this point, I inform her that she needs to refund me the $120 and my points that were deducted from my credit card and my Choice points account when the reservation was made. She said she couldn’t... I would have to call Customer Service. BTW, Customer Service is closed all weekend! Helpful, no?! At this point, I’m fed up and the maintenance man sees that so HE, who has only worked there for 4 days, not the front desk worker, calls the manager, Catherine, and explains the situation. She said she would fix the situation on Monday. Nine days later, the $120 has yet to be refunded and I am told it won’t be. I’ve had 2 contentious conversations with Customer Relations resulting in nothing other than raising my blood pressure. I have been told, in no uncertain terms, that the hotel reported me as a “No Show” and that their policy is that if you pay for a room with points and cash, they WILL NOT refund the cash if the reservation is cancelled. The thing is, I DID NOT CANCEL THE RESERVATION !!!!’ I was told that they did not have a room despite me having a reservation with a confirmation number!! If I had cancelled the reservation then I would agree to no refund; however, I DID NOT CANCEL THE RESERVATION!! I was told they did not have a room for me!! So how is this ok?! I called the hotel manager today. After calling 5 or 6 times with no answer, I finally am put through to Catherine. She said she would have to call me back. She has not. We have used Choice almost exclusively for my husband’s travel for the past few years. Clearly, Choice does not value its guests for anything more than the money they use. There is no loyalty to their long term guests.

    Be careful when you reserve a room with Choice Hotel using pre-paid rate. When you reserve the room, it only said “no cancellation” and “no refund” but it did not tell you that you are not allow to change the date of your reservation on the screen of the reservation. Only after you finalize the reservation and then you receive an email which tells you that you are not able to change your reservation. Customer service and guest relationship representatives are not helpful at all when I explain to them the case. I feel like I got tricked by the scam of the pre-paid rate by the Choice Hotel. I am going to stay away from the Choice Hotel chain from now on!

    Website signin never works . When requesting lost pw online you never get an email with it. Called tech support to reset and next day pw doesn’t work again! Definitely a deterrent to using choice hotels. I’ll stick with Marriott who uses a higher caliber tech support and Website master!! Never a problem w them! Bye to choice hotels!

    Do not pay attention to the pictures. They are not this hotel! This place is a slum. The rooms are outdated. Carpet is stained and nasty. No microwave. The rooms are absolutely tiny. Fridge didn't keep milk from spoiling. Oh and the heat smelled like burning hair when we Turned it on. Was not comfortable. And the kids were so disappointed that the waterpark Was absolutely tiny and wasn't as fun as they thought it would be. Thoroughly disappointing! Worst quality inn i have EVER stayed at and i stay in them quite often. Would not recommend! Waste of money/points/vacation!

    We stayed at Quality Inn at Colby Kansas on July 28, 2018. The hotel was horrible. The carpet was soaking wet. The hotel was filthy dirty. The T V reception was bad and the air conditioner was roaring and very loud. The sink was new but stopped up and the shower had no water pressure. Also the toilet would not flush. House keeping stood at our door at 9.30 wanting us to leave and did not leave until we left. We would not eat the breakfast because of the uncleanness. We would have left but it was so late when we got there. You should check on this hotel because they have your name and not your QUALITY. Concern Rita

    We rented 2 adjoining rooms for 2 nights at the Comfort Inn Henderson Kentucky July 27th to 29th check out. The rooms were clean, hot breakfast was great and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The outdoor pool was very nice. We received the military discount for one of our rooms and seniors discount for the other room. I would recommend this hotel.

    1) Check-In is 3:00pm. We arrived at 4:30. When we enter the room, the top security bar of the entry door stopped us from entering the room. There is a woman from housekeeping in the room. I thought she was a guest since it appeared that there was someone on the bed. She was extremely surprise to see us. We waited 30 minutes to get our room 2) when we checked in, the front desk person forgot to return my credit card. However, he was extremely nice to return it when I was in the pool area 3) Breakfast staff was not paying attention to the needs of the guests. a) there was a cooked waffle in the waffle machine. It was there for 15 minutes. I timed it. IT WAS FOR A STAFF MEMBER!! Not a guest. She was busy talking to the breakfast staff and others. b) there was NO waffle mixed available. It was EMPTY and we could not make a waffle. c). There was NO syrup for the waffle. d) the coffee container was empty for 15 minutes. That’s because she was too busy talking it’s the “waffle” staff. e) getting a little upset about the coffee, we approached her and mentioned that the coffee dispenser was empty. She said ok and bring some out. f). 8 minutes later she did. Thank you. BUT the coffee was WARM and diluted. It looked like tea We were extremely disappointed of the quality for a QUALITY INN. we recently stayed at a Quality Inn in Spokane for a week on Business and it was NOTHING like this place.

    I paid $119 for one night the sir conditioner rattled the whole time, the bathroom wall was filthy and mold in the corner. I woke up with flea bites do someone had a animal in the room before it. I would certainly take them off Choice hotels as it. The bedding had holes it.

    Drive up, dust cars sitting in the parking lot... plus an unlicensed Mercedes!!! Than you walk into a nice lobby, but the greeting was cold and unpleasant by a young man. The first room we received on third floor was smoking! The hallway had a VERY strong smoke smell too. We went downstairs and asked a again for a NON- smoking room. The reply from the young man was” our whole” hotel is NON- smoking. We know, but we need a different room. We were placed in a handicap room. The room was clean, but for being newly remodeled... a lot of issues... for example holes still remind in the walls, carpet not tacked down, shower curtain rod pulled out from the wall, bathroom shower didn’t move... the list goes on and on. Plus it was missing all the flags. When inside the USA flag was only hanging on the wall 1/2 way. When brought to the manager attention... yes, we know. We don’t have a ladder tall enough to fix. Really??? Poor excuse! Will NEVER stay here again.

    I am a Diamond member. While lots of things about the app are good the fact that I am unable to redeem my points for amazon gift cards makes me give 1 star. Choice has not returned multiple emails sent to feedback and support. My app is updated. I am afraid that I will not be able to redeem my 1 $50 card per every 48 hours by the time the Amazon promo is over. I stay at choice because of the gift cards. I travel a lot.
