My mom has used choice for years we drive across country a lot (ny to California) now that I’m older I been taking trips from ny to Arizona as I got a place there. Driving is an adventure to me as I can stop anywhere whenever I would like. Choice hotels has made it easier on my wallet and stress that come along with these long road trips. I would recommend choice to anyone due to the fact that it is free and makes booking rooms near you as fast as 3 clicks of a button you can add on your credit card and AAA card (if you have one) for discounts. App shows you your past stays and let’s you collect points to receive free rooms. Most choice hotels include free continental breakfast. And very rarely have I had a problem with staff or cleanliness of rooms.

We give The Comfort Inn & Suites in Norman, Ok on Copperfield Drive a 0. They cheated us out of money. They’re liars. The customer service is awful! They’re thieves. Don’t stay there under any circumstances. The hotel is not that great either.

I shouldn’t have to look so hard to buy points
I’ve stayed in this area many times. Usually at Cambria suites or Hampton Inn. Always great experiences ! I thought I’d give Comfort Inn a try. It was my daughters first time on vacation so i wanted to make a good memory. The room appeared to be clean until I went into the bathroom. There was tons of toilet paper in the toilet ! So how was the toilet cleaned if it wasn’t even flushed ?! The free breakfast was a big part of why I picked this hotel so my daughter could eat in the morning instead of going to a restaurant. She is 18 months old ,so seemed like it would be more convenient.
We got to breakfast early and almost everything was gone! No milk , eggs were ice cold , no batter in the waffle station etc... I could go on and on! Didn’t even have water there to drink.
They were understaffed and the one poor lady at the breakfast station was trying her best to keep up with the high demands of the many guests that were there to eat.
Finally she tried filling the waffle batter , but machine broke & batter just all spilled out everywhere!
So we’re leaving very hungry! I will never ever stay here again! Wasn’t even a bargain compared to the other hotels, so don’t waste your time here. Spend the extra $20 a night & get a way better hotel !

Coffee maker was filthy dirty, A/C ducts (louvre) had mold, curtain above A/C unit had mold, carpet had paint and bare spots, outside exterior of building looks moldy and terrible.
I have pictures of all these problems if interested in seeing them.
We left that choice hotel to check into our next Choice Hotel in Mt Pleasant SC to have yet another bad experience.
No room service for 2 days and very noisy neighbors thumping on floor above us.

What a nightmare to stay at Choice Hotels, I got a Hotel room with No heating and No Elevator. Rude hotel service to uncaring corporate They can’t do anything.
The service and rewards at Choice Hotels is not worth the stay. Find Marriott or Holiday Inn better services.
Received a call from a girl who sounded like an absolute sweetheart for a marketing promotion. However, it was a pretty aggressive sales pitch, and I could not get her off the phone. Had to hang up on her, which I dislike doing. For a guy like me, who knows what he wants in life, this was a no-brainer. However, I could see this pitch as something that would easily take advantage of someone elderly, less informed, or not assertive. As such, I’m going to have to recommend to all of my family, friends, colleagues, coworkers, former classmates, and online connections (social media) that they avoid using or dealing with Choice Rewards. Tried sending this message in the app, but it kept failing and showing, “Error,” so posting as a review. And yes, I’ve updated marketing preferences.
I am most shocked at my experience there. I lived in Milwaukee for 15 years and just sold my house two weeks prior to making a reservation as I came back to Milwaukee to clean up some details. I live 50 miles away now and had to scramble for a room and pay twice the price because of their little bitty clause that I couldn’t even see because I made the reservation while I was driving. They don’t allow locals!! Don’t go to this place if you ever lived in Milwaukee.I ended up paying double and was very disturbed for the rest the night. I’ve applied for a new drivers license but it takes two weeks and I’m wondering if I should even make my reservation there if I don’t have my new license. What a bunch of jerks

I enjoyed the coziness of the hotel. Relaxing atmosphere although renovations are still being done and convenient restaurants and gas stations. I rate them 10.
City water supply will make you gag 2/5
Abount Dora Quality Inn:
Opened door to room and gagged from stink. Friends had picked this room and had checked in room next door. Went into room to use toilet and leave and discovered the stink came from sink, toilet and water in shower. Flushed both and found stink was in water supply. The city water in mount Dora smells like a dead skunk. The stink was in my friends room also. They had deodorized their room. I got a bottle of fabreeze from front office and sprayed the whole bottle in room and bathroom. Even sprayed the water. How can these people live with this stinky water in their faucets?
If you visit mount Dora bring a lot of deodorizer sprays and bottles. Otherwise you’ll choke to death from the city water stink. It permeates every room. Otherwise make it a one day trip and go home same day.

Evidently, Choice Hotels’ website doesn’t support Safari browser.
Why didn’t the first two agents mention that incompatibility?
And, when I try to use Chrome browser, Chrome skips to App.
So, good luck if you’re trying to book travel with points + cash. Neither customer support by phone nor hotel front desk can help.
App and website are not intuitive, and seem to veil reward redemption.
And, at the end of every call, be ready for the upsell for a free vacation and credit card. I will never again accept the vacation upsell. Never could make it fit our family schedule.
Defaulting back to Hampton for simplicity.

Very clean. The breakfast is excellent each morning it has been different and very delicious Norma does a fantastic meal selection, I can’t wait to get the next breakfast she is a wonderful cook and planner. The maid service is also very good and polite they also do good job on service and cleaning. Although indoor pool was closed, that was the reason I chose this hotel.

Stayed at Quaility Inn, Andulusia, AL on 3/7/2019. Checked in and signed rate acceptence for $72, upon checkout it was $88. No help from staff or corporate. Do you self a favor, never stay at this hotel, and good thing Choice has competition. I will start looking at other hotel chains as loyalty means nothing to them. I have “choices” too.
I’ve been loyal to saying at your establishments with the understanding that 8000 points gets a free night, that’s not even close to what’s needed.

I’m a Choice Gold member and stay frequently in your hotels but I never get the chance to review any of my stays. Why can’t I do that from the app? Why don’t I get the emails inviting me to review my stay? It shouldn’t be this difficult to offer feedback.

Web site told me to use the app to get a 15% discount. App wouldn’t allow me to apply discount and customer service says there is nothing they can do. NEVER again. I’ll use Hilton, Marriott or any other competitor. But I’ll NEVER use Choice again. I travel 2 weeks out of four for my job. This company will not get my business.

We recently have stayed at the Bloomsburg Comfort Inn many times over the last several months. Staying here has allowed us, extended family and friends to attend our daughters Bloomsburg women’s basketball games. The employees, Brandon in particular, have always went out of their way to make us comfortable, accommodating our needs without hesitation. They are caring, friendly and very professional. We chose this location because several years ago we had a similarly good experience. At that time, it was necessary for our daughter to have surgery. We came to Comfort inn for her recovery. The staff went out of their way to ensure she had what she needed and checked on us often. These experiences from truly caring staff goes a long way when you are away from home. I would, without hesitation recommend a stay at this location.

We just left this hotel after a 6 day stay. Even though this hotel has some age on it, our room was clean and comfortable. Everyone who works there was very courteous and helpful, from the front desk to the ladies who clean the hotel. One employee stood out though ms Teresa Teel, she is one of the most courteous and friendly ladies I have had the privilege of meeting. I will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone needing a place to stay.
God awful hotel to airport service. Excuse me, LACK OF SERVICE. Purposely chose and stayed at this hotel for the shuttle service. Two College ski team girls woke up at 4AM to take A 5AM AIRPORT SHUTTLE this hotel OFFERS. The Incompendent piece of shxt driver would not bring them and their 10 race competition bags to the XXXKING CORRECT TERMINAL!!! United. No help getting them close to where they need to be no fix it. So right now they are dragging their bags thru DIA and they are going to probably miss their flight! Shxt. [email protected]

I’ve been staying at the Monaca Comfort Inn and suites for years. My most recent stay was for three nights in a row. The air conditioner/heating unit in my room literally sounded like someone was banging on the wall as hard as They can. With that said I barely got any sleep because my three-year-old daughter would finally get to sleep and it would go off again. The first night I just shut it off and we all woke up freezing. They come and mess around with it but it didn’t even fix it. Honestly book the room to get away and relax and it was a waste of $300. The sad thing is the week before I stayed that Friday and Saturday in a different room and I was fine. They could’ve happily moved us into a different room but they didn’t . So now instead of me saying amazing things about what used to be my favorite hotel I will be explaining to them this situation

The Choice App has saved me so much money over the last past month, I’m really appreciative of it!! Normally, I would check into hotel by going to the actual place and purchasing a room. The draw back to this is that they charge you more, depending on what time you show up, how many days, number of people. I book the same place I had stayed at before without Choice and paid like $28 more than they charged me with the Choice App. To me it saves you money and time, you just give them your information at the desk, get you key, and that’s it!! I really love the Choice App!!

The yelp review for the hotel
We arrived at the hotel and were greeted by two hotel employees. They were both very friendly and checked us in without any problems.
We were given our room keys and directed to our room.
It all went downhill from there.
- The luggage cart sounded like the worst shopping cart at the supermarket and was barely able to move.
- There actually was a shopping cart left in front of the hotel.
- The rug on the floor of the hallway and the room was dirty and worn and looked as if it had not been changed in decades.
- There was a storage room with the door open and boxes strewn all over.
- The room we were given was filthy. There was dust in every corner and the molding was pulling away from the wall.
- The tv was ridiculously small and I can only guess that the two screws sticking out of the top of the dresser were from a previous TV.
- There were four messages on the room phone from January. (I’ve stayed in many hotels and have never found four messages on a hotel phone from two months earlier.)
- There was an orange/reddish substance on the light switch in the bathroom that I still have no idea what it may have been.
- The filthy drunk guy that was dropped off and staggered into the hotel was a bit uncomfortable but oddly enough seemed par for the course.
- The final straw was the cockroach that we found in the bathroom.
Needless to say, we immediately checked out and were assured that we would not be charged. As of this writing, the charges are actually still pending on my account.
If this was the last hotel available - I would sleep in my car.
It truly was a disgusting filthy place.

I never write reviews but had to for this one. I stay at this hotel every time I’m in the Birmingham area. This place is very quiet and the rooms are very clean and updated. The staff here is very good also, most of the time when I check in I deal with a gentleman named Kamon, he is excellent, extremely polite always asks how I’m doing, seems to really enjoy his job, if only more people like him worked at other hotels I’ve stayed at. This place also has reasonable pricing which is a plus for someone who lives on the road most of the year. 5 ⭐️

Not quite UNDERSTANDING why Choice would keep a particularly horrible property, (that has received single stars out of a possible 5 star review, for OVER a solid year!) Why would you continue to send your clients/customers to this property when the property owners are doing NOTHING to change their customer service or the conditions of the hotel/motel???? Your customer service representative tried to send us there! Nope! I had read their reviews prior to calling!! So I ended up calling a Choice hotel across the street and booked a room there! (after your representative tried to tell me everything else “Choice” in this town was booked solid!😡 No it wasn’t!!!) Talked to people that were also Choice customers at a diner that morning and they had stayed at the Roadway Inn in Santa Rosa, New Mexico and they said it was DISGUSTING and very dirty!!! Really?! Why Choice are you continuing to send us to gross places?! Makes me question where else you may send my husband and I!!!!!

Stayed here 1 night, Feb. 28, 2019. Have always enjoyed staying at Comfort Inns, but this time I received a rash from sitting in the recliner. It’s either the cleaning solution you use or there were fleas. I know they allow pets. I don’t usually stay in hotels that allow pets. I wish you had rooms that you don’t allow pets.
It has been 2 days and the rash is still there and I’ve been taking Benadryl. I won’t be staying at that Comfort Inn anymore. I also noticed it isn’t showing up on my nights stayed list.

I downloaded because I was booking online directly through the hotel the the choice add show up it was showing every second so I downloaded.
I book 2 rooms for a Saturday night I typed all info “number of people staying an DATE!!!
After when I choose the rooms app took me to payment part the CHOICE APPCRASH.
So the app automatically closed and I open the app again and it took me to payment part again.
I type my Credit card and billing info. I clicked submit and all I see was the wrong date.
The date when I was booking the rooms at 10 pm. I live 5 hours away from the hotel so o wouldn’t book for the same night and being 5 hrs away.
After I saw it I tried to call “Choice” customer service. And it say they were closed and there businesses hours are from 7 till 9 pm.
So I had to wait till next day to let customer service know.
Customer service said that it was my mistake
and learn to fill up. And that Choice has nothing to do with the hotels and they wouldn’t give me a reimbursement because I did everything wrong
Please people book directly through the hotel where you guys are going to stay.

I am a choice hotel member but still trying to figure out what that even means bc in all honestly, we have not been very happy with any one of the locations we have stayed at, with this last reservation at Sleep Inn Tampa Oaks being one of the biggest choice mistakes ever.
When we arrived, there was one woman working the front desk for the whole hotel and she was obviously in the weeds and couldn’t keep up with the demand. We could only get one room key, we were stuck in a really small king room with no bathtub (apparently no rooms have bathtubs but that’s not posted anywhere on the hotel details page) and AC that was really not working, on a “non-smoking” floor that was in reality, on a half smoking floor.. what??? It was absolutely ridiculous!!!
We checked in super late and asked for a wake up call so we would not miss breakfast and of course we did not get that. We got down to breakfast at 9:15 and the staff wouldn’t even help us out with a muffin or juice and we have a three-year-old child with us.
We were inconvenienced yet again because we had to “stay” in order for them to move our room from the 1/2 smoking floor to the first floor, my husband had to do all the leg work bc no one at the hotel would do it for us. The new room wasn’t much nicer considering we found a dead roach on the bathroom floor. Yuk!! It was way louder being on the first floor as well. It sounded like elephants on the roof and the lobby noise was terrible.
The real kicker, was that there are signs all over the property that say this is a “non-smoking property” and all over the property that say this is a “no pet friendly property” but yet we had to listen to a yapping little dog all night long.
Due to the lack of staff, we did not feel comfortable staying at this property and would not recommend staying at this properly. We certainly will not be staying here again.
In addition, the pool here is half the size that they show it to be and coffee was just terrible.
Only plus, you’re really just out in the middle of nowhere. Yippie!!
This is when Choice Hotels should refund all of our money bc we are members and had a horrible experience... Better luck next time I guess

From the manager to the front desk, I was treated very well and they always jumped on my needs! Hotel is in perfect location to stores and restaurants. Even had a bowling alley directly behind the hotel for some fun!

Yes his is the nastiest and creepiest hotel I have ever stayed in. It is mold invested bathrooms, the pictures on the reservation sites are deceiving not what the rooms are advertised. There is no decorations in the concrete rooms. The employees look like people of the street. We came In at 1 am and the guy that checked us in was standing outside our dour by the time we got there and had opened our door and would not leave till we told them the room was ok. There was no carpet or furniture in the room except a bed and tv. 1 towel for two people. The women who checked us out was not in the office she was outside. I took tons of pics. The room looked like it was painted by a child or a drunk person. The lights on the walls looked like they belonged in a garage. I felt I was sleeping in someone’s cold basement or garage. I would never stay in this hotel if it was the only vacant one. The shower looked like it was just grouted around but the faucet looked like it was going to fall off if I pulled the plug to turn on the shower on. There was nothing to plug the tub to take a bath. Very very very bad place to spend your money.

Left Sleep Inn Suites in Lufkin, TX this morning feeling well rested. Everyone was nice and helpful. Felt welcomed and at home as soon as we were greeted by the check-in staff. Our room was very clean. The bed was as comfortable as my bed at home. Check-out was easy with my bill being already at my room when I awoke. Breakfast was great with a large variety to choose from. Will stay here every time I am in Lufkin. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone going to Lufkin. They are also set up for guests who will be there long term. Thank you Sleep Inn !!

I have stayed here every time I come from Atlanta, and had no problem. February 16th was a disappointment. I got back from my son’s wedding and all these people were in the back parking lot. This was about 11PM. I called the front desk and was told he would check it out. Several minutes later I looked out and there must have been 20 people drinking and playing loud music. I wondered if they knew which room complained and couldn’t sleep. This went on with loud conversations until at least 3:30 in the morning. Was not a memorable ‘good’ stay.

I’m staying at the Comfort Suites in Boone NC. Front desk check in personnel were great everything going good until I’m in room. I find half bottle of Mt Dew in Frig no problem. I finally get to bed, move my legs around under sheets and find someone’s socks. Gross me the heck out! House keeping pretends they clean room. I slept on same sheets as prior nights guest.
