Hard to use on the iPhone X 2/5
Some of the buttons are on the corners of the phone and are impossible to tick. Also choosing the country where the claim was paid is very long if your country name doesn’t start with A or B or C
Clunky app, error message after error message! 1/5
The concept of the app itself is great. Claims are easy to submit (in theory). With that said, what should be a simple process is made very difficult by the repeated error message. Each step I try to perform typically yields a message that says “We cannot process your request at this time.” If I repeatedly try the same action, it will eventually push through.
Bottom line: this app needs a serious overhaul. I cannot believe after a year of seeing these issues it has not been fixed. It is ruining Cigna’s entire image!

After reading reviews, I still installed the app. I was careful to take photos of documents beforehand. Filling out a claim was identical to using the web version. It saved me the step of uploading photos to my computer first, so that was an improvement.
I agree with the reviewer that said the app feels like old technology: no biometric login, had to name the files I uploaded, etc. I also agree that Cigna could do better.
Nevertheless, I successfully submitted a claim. I guess that’s at least worth 3 stars.

It is obvious it is still using old design philosophy and has not taken advantage of the mobile environment. This makes the app cumbersome but it is still many times better than the website method of filing a claim. Please fix some of the issues I’m sure you know about, like the checkbox for the Agreement, it is so low at the corner of the screen it takes multiple tries to enable to check; if ever, especially for iPhone X and later devices; with full screens.

I have used the app to search for providers, access card information and file / check claims. All in all I’m finding it useful and initiative for my needs.

It’s weird that companies are still building apps as if we are in the early stages of computing.
For example, in this CIGNA app there is no way for the user to return to a claim and add more scans of the documents. There is a limit of 6 MB size for the entire set of documents. Also, the payment screen keeps giving and error that special characters are not allowed, where there is no special character in the data. Funny thing is, when I put the same data in the form using CIGNA web site it accepts the data.
Bottom line: definitely not a recommended app!

It’s a very useful App. But still needed lots of improvement. Always issues with logging in and the layout very basic. I think a big company like Cigna can do better than this. Waiting for some great improvement to their App with actual fix of the issues

FRUSTRATING AND CLUNKY: NEEDS A LOT OF WORK 1/5
In-app photo function for document upload doesnt work with iPhone XR. Have to select photo from files. Make sure you already took those photos because if you swich to camera (or any other app) to take a photo to upload from files, the Cigna app logs you out almost immediately, dumps all the entered data in your claim, but then saves the now empty claim as "unfinished".
Cant seem to upload more than one document. A second document (and I tried various different formats sizes and documents) is unable to be uploaded.
There doesn't seem to be any way to enter ckaim amount- I guess they get that from document upload- but my bill was in HKG dollars, and I selectedI wanted reimbursement in US dollars. I wonder how that will work.

If you want to login and check on a claim or submit a claim. It’s a pretty good app.
But it needs a simpler login such as finger print reader. I would also love to see my benefits plan as well.

It usually lets me login but right when I try to view the claims it immediately asks me AGAIN for my password and half the time it doesn’t take it as “correct” even though it is. Please fix this!!

Ok - so I could login, see my claims - although I haven’t yet tried submitting the claim via the App - but the one thing I want to see are my benefits - medical & dental plan - then I know what to expect - hope this can be added to the next update

From the get go, I think this app will make my life easier to a certain extent. However, I always have troubles logging in. It says that my log in combination is incorrect no matter how much I tried. I checked the member ID and password and I was all correct, but the app didn’t log me in. So for that, 1 star from me because I can’t even open the app. I’d appreciate it if your IT department can help me and I’d consider my review.

It failed multiple times in the middle of the process of submitting a claim. After failing, it was necessary to restart the submission from the beginning each time.

CignaEnvoy provides international coverage. Why are the only insurance cards available from the app those for America? The same is true of the web site. Useless.

I live the app. It definitely makes my life easier. My one complaint is that the place you have to touch to agree to terms and conditions in order to submit a claim is very small and tough to hit.

I was with other company and the reimbursement request must go through website which difficult to enter through mobile. But with your Cigna Envoy App you make our life easy :)
