ClassLink LaunchPad Extension app reviews

  • Nothing Works 1/5

    By Group texting Wannabe
The app doesn't work, and if you had to go to preferences to enable it in Safari, it still didn't work.
  • The Worst! 1/5

    By Neha Thakker
If I had not read the reviews, I could have never guessed why the school applications were not loading. Thank you to all the people who wrote the reviews!

  • Is This The Best They Can Do? 1/5

    By Educational Dumpsterfire
We were to download this extension in order for us to be able to...among other things... enroll in benefits. The instructions are as clear as mud. I am not computer illiterate, and trying to open this extension is a little irritating. Trying to open this harkens back to the days of Windows95.
  • Terrible 1/5

    By Mason Herrick
I installed it and its not what i thought it was. Also I CANT DELETE IT!
  • Don't waste your time 1/5

  • awful. 1/5

    By josie hirst
honestly the fact that i need to download anything to attend my necesary classes is stupid, but the fact that they dont even work BEWILDERS me, jesus christ. all that happens when i open it is it tells me how amazing this extension is and then i physically cant close the app.
  • Big Security Concerns 1/5

This extension gives ClassLink or OCPS or someone access to all passwords, usernames, everything that’s typed in the browser and navigation history which is a huge privacy concern to have on a personal computer. It might be ok on a school loaner computer, but not on personal computers.
  • Install Instructions 1/5

    By Wolfe.M
You don't actually seem to need this for whatever Launchpad is telling you that you need it for. It said to install for SSO, but I seem to be able to sign on without it. Like others have said - it installs an icon that opens a screen that you can't close (without quitting it). It doesn't tell you that you need to go to your Safari extension settings to enable it.
  • Never would have figured it out 1/5

    By miss fern
Thanks to the reviewer who took the time to give the extremely simple installation instructions that SHOULD pop up when you install the extension. Ridiculous. Aside from that it seems to work fine.
  • What is this supposed to do? 1/5

    By adamenth
I’ve followed the instructions in the other reviews regarding enabling the extension, and unchecking stop popups to save power. Then what? What is it supposed to do? How do you tell if it’s “working"?
  • Yes, needs installation instruction 1/5

    By gutterman010101
People should be FIRED for this. And not a few people, lots of people. Any organization that chose to use ClassLink should fire the people who made that decision. Had to install this to log into my kid's school work on the family MAC. Fine. Installed it and it does nothing. Launch the app and all it does is show a window with a sales pitch on how easy it is to use. Spend an hour screwing around before stumbling upon these reviews that told me how to enable the extension in Safari.
  • Unusable on it's own 1/5

    By Mike Wylde
While his extension might provide the service it claims (it seems to in a quick test) it is completely useless once you download it. You need to go through reviews to find out how to get it to work. I've NEVER seen an extension that won't turn itself on or at least offer to turn itself on once you double-click the downloaded package. VERY POORLY IMPLEMENTED!
  • Garbage 1/5

    By Tyler378236
It dosent even work it shoes this thing on how "great".You think it would take you strait to classlink right away as shown in the pictures but nope it dosen't dont bother installing it and at the time it has a lot more 1 star reviews than 5 star reveiws DO NOT BOTHER GETTING THIS IT IS USELESS!
  • Trouble Help 5/5

    By Taylor2791
This app does work you just have to enable it in your prefrences with safari. When your safari window is open at the top on the menu bar click on "Safari" go to "Prefrences" > click on the "Extensions" tab and click the box in the left box.
  • THIS WORKED, fig'd out on my own...NO THANKS TO CLASSLINK 3/5

    By IceQueen#1
Safari Preferences, then Advanced, then UNCHECK "stop plug-ins to save power. And, just for good measure I dumped ClassLink & redownloaded from App Store & BAM, it was showing up in Safari Extentions, Checked, ready to go & No Dumb Pop Up Window. I went to the LaunchPad & tested several App's & they all worked like a dream. 😉 Developer, DEAL W/ YOUR SHORT-COMING'S...I get 5 stars!!!
  • Useless App 1/5

    By Sam&Missy
This app is useless and does not work. I keep having the same problem as everyone else that keeps saying all that comes up is the pop up windown that tells you about how "great" the app is. I see no response from the developers on here. What is going on??? Please get this fixed especially now when all kids are supposed to be learing from home.
  • Add INSTRUCTIONS!!!!! ( 1/5

    By 19JWilson82
Step: 1. Open Safari 2. Click Preferences 3. Click on the Extensions tab 4. Put a check mark next to the "Classlink" logo Then the app will work. The app designers need to add instructions otherwise the app is useless!!
  • Frustrated 1/5

    By Lady1377
It seems to not be working for all versions of Macs. It stared working well but as soon as I updated to the latestest version for the Mac system, now it doesn't work anymore! THIS IS CRAZY! For an app thats used for online schooling or even meetings for work, this is absurd!

this is the most stupid and frustrating thing ever. It does not work at all and it is just dumb and time wasting!!!!
  • Needs Installation Instruction 3/5

    By Thomas Magnum
Be sure to open your preferences in safari and click a check box to enable the extension. Just to click "open" on the app store and get a little un-closable pop-up telling you about ClassLink isn't needed. We are all here on the app store extension page because we tried to open ClassLink and it told us we needed this extension. Sure, have a pop-up window when you click open. but the first piece of info that pop-up should have is: in the Safari menu bar, click "Safari" > "Preferences..." Click on the "Extensions" tab and enable ClassLink LaunchPad Extension by clicking the box beside it's icon in the list of extensions.
  • Couldn't get it to work 1/5

I couldn't get this to work on Safari, had to use Google Chrome instead, where it worked seamlessly.
  • Does not seem to work 1/5

    By CoronaVClassroom
When launched I only get a description of what the app is supposed to do. Just the description. No login page, no functionaliy, no nothing. Just the description.

  • Seriously!? 1/5

doesn’t work at all. I need to do school work on this but once you download it and click the open button the only thing it does is tell you about how “great” it is.I mean why would class link make a app that doesn’t even work?Quite stupid if you ask me.
  • Doesn’t seem to work 1/5

Upon launching, just provides a popup screen with “about” info (and the window can’t be closed), but Safari still reports the extenstion is not installed

  • Doesn't Work 1/5

    By krystalteach
This will not open on my Mac. Simply opens a window that tells me it's purpose with no close option (red is not there). When I try to open it from the app store after installing, this window continues to pop up. Frustrating.
  • Doesn't work on Mac? 1/5

By A very very frustrated student
It doesn't work on my MacBook Air? Why would it be offered here if it doesn't work? This needs to be fixed as this where I do all my school work since it's so convient!
  • Trouble 1/5

    By Nykol189
This app does not do anything. I have a Mac and it does not open the links. I have to sign-in individually, therefore I can not even get into some of the links because it is saying I'm not registered. Frustrating to say the least, because I can not do any work from home using my Mac. Is there another app that is better? Is this problem being solved??
