  • Annoying ads, constantly crashing 1/5

    By DG_MD
Constantly crashing after the recent update. Annoying 30 second commercials!!! Could you please, please make them any longer?!
  • Exploring the surface of Mars 4/5

    By Lady of Sway
Five stars if the questions raised were at least addressed, just a few: If the surface is so inhospitable, shouldn’t we be digging down to where the Martians are hiding? I can already think of many practical reasons why not, but what is the real reason? Do I understand correctly that this is a joint venture between United States, United Arab Emirates and China? That must mean they are after oil and/or other much more valuable and practical substances like minerals? What agreement is there between the three ‘partners’ should they find anything of value for current or future use? Would such discoveries be shared with the world? Will they only benefit the richest of the rich (as usual) I could go on!
  • Lack of Content 1/5

    By FastAttack707
For months now CNET has nothing to do with Computers, Networks or Emerging Technology. They are in fact focusing on Stimulus Checks and COVID 19.
  • Never listens, constant repeat of same articles and best sales pitches 1/5

    By acrisis
Deserves a negative rating for daily rehashing of 4 to 6 “ stimulus check “ articles and other stuff. No longer about tech news and real factual reviews of products. Just a constant repeat of “ best “ list of primarily household products without any factual comparison, just ceo optimized blogger fluff for referral link dollars. And if that is not bad enoughe, they will repeat them every month. Then there are the same 4 stilmulus articles that appear every day, as if they were just written in the last 4-8 hours. But it is exactly the same as what was written months ago, just on daily repeat. The only shining light is the car reviews. For the rest, don’t bother.
  • App constantly crashes on iPhone 7+ with latest iOS 13 2/5

    By RicoCeo
Hello CNET, Do you have any recommendations, or are you aware of any know issues when using the latest CNET app, iOS 13 latest update on an iPhone 7 Plus to where the app constantly crashes? I have been having this issue off and on for about a year now. Thank you
  • Crashes often 3/5

    By anyash1
Very unstable app. Crashes more often than not even with most recent updates. Crashes on startup and when opening articles from notifications.
  • Great APP 5/5

    By Jwbirdlover
They have lots of info and it is easy to understand.
  • Crashes 1/5

    By HomeyLime
The app now crashes after you open it once. Has been doing this a lot with the new updates.
  • I love CNET 5/5

    By Ewok63
They have the greatest technology reviews ever. I love there Apple reviews the most.
  • Latest up date causes crashes 2/5

    By Egadzooks!
The update of July 3, 2020 causes the app to crash. So much for bug fixes.
  • Impossible to Use 1/5

    By YoungKev15
There are way to many “sticky” links. You can’t scroll a story for more than 2 sentences without accidentally clicking a link that takes you elsewhere. This app is impossible to use anymore.
  • Loyal Subscriber 5/5

    By TxSue53
I’ve been gratefully using Cnet for about 15 yrs now-since the days of my first HP desktop, and there’s no better way to keep up and learn what you need to know!
  • Ads too long 1/5

    By RWPDallas
I will not waste my time to watch a 30 second ad that I do care about to watch a minute or two minute video. I don’t understand that logic. 10 or 15 second ad is more acceptable. Otherwise I have always enjoyed CNET.
  • Best tech info 5/5

    By NMMI89
Love all the tech news C/Net covers. Especially everything on Apple.
  • Cutting Edge info over a variety of topics 5/5

    By Tulipyellow
I look forward to CNET as much as my morning traditional on line newspapers. Great technology info but a smattering of many other interesting topics as well. Great job!
  • Perfect resource app for 2020 5/5

    I love the app!

What to do for people who are not able to work
  • Now it’s politics instead of tech 1/5

    By CBO_BX
Now it’s an extension of political news instead of technology and reviews. I don’t need another news site
  • Rate 5/5

    By Dirty jo
I love the app. Regards, Jer.
  • Shame on you 1/5

    By DB799703
Hey CNET stop running in the background. 1hr and 7min for 1min of screen time! Are you snooping on my identity or tracking me?

  • Repetitive content getting old 2/5

    By mekim123
Too much repetitive content to plow through! How many articles are really needed to track a stimulus check, Apple Watch info, just ridiculous.
  • Stay out of the politics 2/5

    By ATS74
Stay out of the politics. This should be for tech news and products only.
  • Too much not related to tech 2/5

    By FromLeftField
No less than 4 articles discussing stimulus checks in the top scroller. I want to use this app to read tech industry news.
  • Used to be a tech news app 1/5

    By Browns1709
Now it just regurgitates cnn garbage.
  • CNET is becoming Media Parrot 1/5

    By Citizen 1776
CNET used to be the go to site for tech reviews and news but it is increasingly becoming another narrative platform. Very disappointing.
  • Political 1/5

    By Division for Money
Of course they are going to get political...I don’t need solicitations for donations to Black Lives Matter from my IT app. Goodbye
  • 👍🏽 5/5

    By DJ Mike Swing
Real reviews since the 90’s! I like that I can get reviews on the app and I can book mark them. Great job!
  • Old reviews 2/5

    By Scotty9349
I was trying to find a decent wireless router and all of the hits kept coming up with old reviews, not like a year old, but done as far back as 2012. Seriously?
  • Keeps U in the know with practical info 5/5

Great app - well designed to provide content that matters quickly, concisely and fluidly. Don’t need to write about the all and try it.
  • Unstable!!! 4/5

    By 13flash
Extremely unstable! Great content but if it won't load current articles what good is it? Then you have to delete it and re download it to see current articles, but that deletes all the articles you've saved for future reference! How disappointing that a great tech review company cannot create an app that functions correctly! I have no issues with any of my other dozens of apps. I am on iphone XR running ios 13.5. UPDATE: CNET app working again 1 hour after I sent above 1 Star review so i give it 4 stars now and we will see.......
  • Less tech, more liberal politics 2/5

    By Patshrews
    One sided information
  • App crashes 1/5

    By Johnny_r1
App keeps crashing. Have tried uninstalling and re installing but nothing
  • Increasingly Political 2/5

    By SDRose1971
I like the tech news that CNET provides but over the last year it has become infused with strong political leanings that are coming through where their focus should be technology trends and what those trends might mean. I can get political news from hundreds of other sources - I don’t need the heavy political influence in my tech news. The worst part is - I am not sure their reporters even realize their bias . Thanks
  • Great app with minor bugs 4/5

    By Pup Zeke
Overall love the app. Just hate how the news feed resets every time you back out of an article you just read.
  • CNET very informative 5/5

    By WMangual
“CNET is news reporter to the new norm”
  • Perfect internet place to find Performance 5/5

    By k_hassel
Do you want the latest news on a cell phone, router, computer...? Please use the app or website: CNET. You can save yourself from wasting money or exchanging items. Not all all electronics can be exchanged after 30 days. I expelled money by purchasing the wrong modem plus/router wifi and THEN bought a wifi repeater so I could stream Disney plus. (waste of money on the repeater!) If I had checked with CNET before I purchased Motorola cable modem/wifi router with power boost (where the hell is the power boost located?) I cannot locate it? There isn’t a button or switch!! I would not have to be buying another one a year later. A local store didn’t not explain what download speeds I need to stream videos on my computer much less if need 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz. Let CNET become your next best friend.
  • Big fan of the road show but...... 2/5

    By racerXXX
Why can’t road show have its own app?! This app is too cluttered with other stuff.
  • iPhone SE. 5/5

    By donlwarren
Helpful information. Considering one. Have a 6S Plus.
  • My go-to app, for the majority of my online knowledge 5/5

    By catherinefromrye
The only app that I go to first, last, always, and have saved ( I am going to have to learn how to create a folder for the information I have found in my devices), the countless times I needed tech support and help; with this app. I would still not have any answers to the most salient information that we online intermediate status for the “how to’s,” could ever have found with this awesome app. Thank you for creating this app for those of us who are not internet professionals, and require a lot of information to be able use the features of our iPhones and iPads! CNET ROCKS!
  • Seems to be slower 3/5

    By Dinob127
Initially the articles would load at a reasonable speed. Lately I have to wait upwards of 15-30 seconds for articles to load via link from emails and notifications.
  • Ring 2/5

    By 5150mex
The person telling the story should just do so and not get too emotional about it. I do agree with the story (report) but it sounds like he is just putting down the product. Let the listener make that judgment on the “story and product”.
  • A tech app that gets too political 1/5

    By Kmansp36
It’s become a bash trump mouthpiece. I come here for tech reviews and articles, not politics.
  • Gets political and is paid to push deals 2/5

    By Kicking47
Pushes deals they get paid to push. Supposed to be a tech site but jumps into non-tech politics all the time (because CBS is parent company?). Also, no way to search articles or deals. I’ve lost interest.

    By GtrDaddy
Just couldn’t stay out of politics. Brazen liars ran story headline along the lines of “Trump Suggests Injecting Lysol/Disinfectant To Kill Coronavirus...” Complete loss of faith in this e-magazine. I’m done.
  • Junk 2/5

    By jjsteggy
CNET is supposed to be technology news and reviews. Unfortunately, like all other news sources, it's becoming more and more editorials. At least if you get the app, turn off the notifications and just go open there app if you want a review on something specific.
  • Slow 1/5

    By Nivek1006
This is like molasses slow. I have the latest iPad Pro and it shouldn’t be like this. He scrolling is the worst. It’s jerky and just stops sometimes and makes you wait.
  • CNET went click bait 2/5

    By BurtReynoldsIV
This sight used to be about cool stuff, and has now thrown their clock-bait political hat in the arena.
  • My Go To is CNET for ALL MY TECH NEEDS 5/5

    By 1sweetSonia
I use no one else but CNET for all my technology needs. I’m a researcher at heart and I used to waste a bunch of time looking, researching and watching videos. Now, I just go through CNET. Thank you CNET!
