Tried calling the store but number does NOT work.
The order says it’s ready for pick up but there is NO ORDER.

Too Many Requests Error when Trying to Login 1/5
I’m not happy with how this app is set up. I was logged out unexpectedly, but when I try to log back in, the error kept saying Too Many Requests. The only option is for me to push okay. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, but now it’s giving me a Connection Issue error!
Fix this now please!!!! Do not download this app!!! Just create an account on the desktop site! Avoid this app at all costs to avoid error related frustrations!!!!

It works but you cannot write special instructions or even select an occasion because the sale won’t go through. You have to buy it and then call them with instructions. Makes more sense to cute out the phone call and make the app more functional.

February 26, 2023 I placed an order online through email special get delivery for .99. So I placed two orders of Gotta Have It Coffee Ice Cream with Graham Crackers Pie Crust and Kit Kat one with Chocolate dipped waffle bowl and one in a cup. When it was delivered both came in cups and one was not in a chocolate dipped waffle cone. Anyways the ice cream cups want filled up and the Kit Kats was just broken into pieces and the Graham crackers pie crusts they were not mixed in at all they were just dumped and piled on. It looked like a mess and unpresentable. I was very disappointed with it! Plus being charged $1.99 for chocolate dipped waffle cone and $4.99 delivery fee instead of .99 as advertised on email. Whoever did my order didn’t do a good job at all. That person needs to be trained or retrained! Just because I ordered online maybe that person doesn’t think I won’t complain about it well I surely did! I even took a picture of the ice creams. It’s better to go inside the store and watch them do the work!
Selection Expectations (App vs. In-store) 3/5

While I appreciate them having their own app, I would expect there to be consistency between the app and in-store order options. In-store you can order a creation in a “Gotta Have it” size however, you can only order that specific size on the app to build your own creation, which makes zero sense. Additionally, it would be great to increase the 40 character limit on the notes to 45-50. The convenience of the app is to avoid standing in line however, I find that I need to walk in to ensure I get exactly what I want, which negates having the app. I’ve had to download the app twice as the offers appear but don’t allow the option to click and open. When I asked the attendant about the app selections, including offers, I was told they had no idea about the app. They’ve been kind enough to honor what I’m supposed to get based on seeing an offer is there however, I would expect see an expiration date or code so that I’m clear on when to use as to not miss out.

My order was lost. I was ignored for 15 minutes, and challenged when I said my order was supposed to be ready. I had to pull up my bank account and show the workers. Once I did, they begrudgingly remade my order. I assume it was given to someone else.

I went to that location where 2 young females were working. Nobody was there. One was on her cell phone and I asked for my order. She said if that was the right location because there was not orders pending. I received my credit card notification that my card was charged. Nothing was showing on the cold stone App. She called someone and the respond was there’s nothing they can do. I checked my credit card App and it show I was charged not once but twice by Cold Stone. I processed the order again and told them I will contact my credit card company to get it resolved. She started to process my order. One cup was done right. The next one was more on the empty side and I asked her. She said because the other one had Apples. Really? What that has anything to do with it. I noticed she didn’t add everything it was supposed to be included. She started arguing with me that I requested not to have 2 things included. I tried to explain the special instructions it was included. She kept arguing about it and told the other one to charge me for an extra topping. I told her I wasn’t asking for an extra topping. I was substituting 2 things instead for the other one. She didn’t get it. It was showing with her face a bad attitude. She was completing the rest of the order in the same way. Dragging everything around it like she was mad. She finally finished. I told her: Thank you. She turned around with her back towards me and completely ignored me. I left and decided to call back to get her name and place a complaint about it. Whoever answered (sounded just like her) said: wait a minute let me check first. She returned a few minutes later asking what was the question? I laughed and asked her: What is your name? She responded: Ashley. Then I asked: And the other one? She responded let me asked her, she is new and I don’t know her name. She came back and responded: Alexa. I said: Thank you. I don’t know if those are their real names but we’re the only 2 working that day at that time in that location. I have been a customer for years of Colds Stone. I never had any issues with any employees or any locations before. Everything was a chaos at this terrible visit.

The app doesn't let me login. Just tells me my password needs to be at 8 characters long even though it’s the login screen not the create an account screen. I know my password is correct because I reset it and logged-in in a browser with success.

The last three times I’ve gone to this location the people don’t greet you or say give me a minute. They continue with their line. I waited 15 mins after my order today because no one said anything. Then, when my order was ready no one said thank you for your patience. Just rude.

This app is pretty hit and miss. Especially if you have to change your password. I changed my password, went to log in with new password that was approved, and the app told me it didn’t have enough characters. Went back through the process again, set the same password, and it took it the second time. So odd. It also said it wouldn’t take the card for payment from my Apple Pay wallet. So I manually entered that same card, and it took it.

When I try to sign in it says “Password must be at least 8 characters with no spaces”. My password definitely meets these requirements. I tried changing my password. And then I triple checked that I wasn’t inputting it incorrectly. The app just won’t let me sign in.

Had to create my rewards account on the website because the app wouldn’t let me do it. Also, when I try to sign in through the app after making the account, it keeps saying that there’s a connection issue when my internet is working completely fine.

Hello I have issue with orders not transmitting to store. I have to call the store and order. This time I paid with cold stone gift card and January reward of $5.00off now the reward is gone from my account, I am not sure if $30.00 gift card will be usable again. I lost $35 without even using it to get my cake. Very messed up system you developers have built for you. Worst customer service experience.

I love Cold Stone, which is why I was so disappointed when they were no longer available on the usual delivery apps (DoorDash, Uber eats, postmates). Then I saw they had their own app, which is great. Until it doesn’t work, ever. No matter what I do, how I change things on delivery, pickup, etc I cannot place an order. Super disappointing but I guess I won’t be having it any time soon

The app shows rewards but prevents you from using reward items.
Reward items can only be used in store by having the employee stop the entire line.
Very annoyed having stopped the line… they take off their gloves, look up your account to process your reward credit, and then treat the next customer with bad attitude because you were a hassle.
Be prepared for the mean faces, glares and stares, maybe even a snickering or two…. As you walk past all the people that you held up in the process.

Very difficult to use. Makes you pick options to don't want. Defaults a pick up time and then won't let you submit order until you enter a pick up time. Had to enter card number 3 times bc i kept having to back out to fix errors

Every time I try to order from this place, it gives me a random error saying that my credit card isn’t supported which is a Visa then it’ll say sorry. There’s an error occurred then if I try to order two of the same ice cream it’ll say sorry no NULL I have no idea what’s going on with this app but if you use it take your time make sure everything you put in there is correct and check and make sure before you submit I thought I ordered and it went through and then tried to do it twice so that’s why is my rating is so low.

We always buy ice cream from cold stone and I have an account I made from the internet browser. Once I found out they had an app I was thrilled. But when I’d try to login with my password and account it wouldn’t work. As if my account with cold stone never existed. I was very disappointed.

Can’t sign in half the time. When setting up pickup time, it won’t actually choose time you select and no error is given. Even when I finally got a time to ‘work’ for next day pickup, after checking out it says order will be ready today. Webpage is MUCH easier to navigate and more reliable. Webpage explains why I can’t set time I want and recommends next available time for pickup. I recommend just using webpage instead of wasting space with the app.

I just purchased an E gift card, assuming, common sense, business practices, that I would be able to attach that gift card balance to the app to conveniently pay for purchases and not have to carry around a piece of paper with an E gift card or attach it to my E wallet.
Honestly, what kind of fast food app doesn’t have this option to pay directly from the app?

This is soo Embarrassing, doesn’t value the importance of the celebration and not even made a cake for my order. I ordered the cake in online yesterday and it was like 40$ and I had done my payment in online and the delivery time and date was fixed for 8:30pm tonight. The most irresponsible things was when I reached to pick my cake at the store they coveys that they haven’t really made the cake!!!!!!. It’s really bad and worst.
