App is perfect. but it started saying "connecting to server" or "no internet connection" after a month use
Everything works. I only have one complaint, which is the connection keeping going in and out.

I keep seeing notifications. When I click on it there is nothing on the app. This is seen after opening it up off the home sleep screen that shows part of the message and unlocking to read more to open my phone in full mode. I have been sending out a few messages and then it just say it couldn’t send and deleted everything I had just wrote. I had been asked to come in at times and not get the messages or a reply back seeing if things were approved or not till sometime hours later .

This is a wonderful app. The only thing I’ve found that this app could benefit from is a “search” option. Sometimes I find it extremely difficult to find what I need within the group conversations. If you could add that feature it would be AMAZING. No complaints.

We’ve used this app and sent in the request multiple times. When will the developer put a simple search for text feature in the app? Why can you only search by group or name? It doesn’t make any sense.

Great way to quickly communicate with a small group. Unfortunately I have found the software does not follow the notifications setting in iPhones. I have had to turn all notifications completely off in order to not get the same Home Screen banner notice repeatedly for something which has already been read, and there are no new communications sent.

I was checking out this app as a way to communicate with my staff. Well… it sent out an app invite to EVERYONE before I was ready and even though I have deleted the group and app.. it is still sending messages to my contacts. I would avoid

The most useful feature for me is the “Team Files” function, sadly it’s SO bad I’m considering dropping the app even with it’s many other useful features. Any file that’s more than a few pages is rendered useless, as if you scroll too fast, or leave the feature for only a few seconds, it often goes back to page 1… if I was on page 91 I not only have to wait for it to load page one for no reason, but SLOWLY find page 91 again, then wait for THAT to load… and HOPE I don’t get an important call or text while I’m on the page, or else I’ll be doing it all over again minutes from now… if you don’t need to share documents this app is pretty great actually tho.

The very basic feature of being able to block a user who is problematic doesn’t work.
Blocking is good “period” to put an end to a conversation going south before it gets worse, especially in circular conversations with unaccountable, toxic people....
Blocking should work regardless of the coworker. Blocking is a feature across all platforms, it’s universal. I just know the failure to have it provide it’s intended protection is going to cause numerous issues.
I blocked a user at 1:24 am, went to unblock today at around 6pm, and there was a message on there that got through at 8:30am. This should not happen.
Either have a block feature that works for everyone or don’t include it in the app at all.

Ive had this for two years now. It worked up until the last two months. I pay for this app and It has been broken for two months. I can not get a phone call to fix. I get asked everytime thru chat “explains what going on.”” Ive explained over and over. I have three businesses utilizing this app. They are all screwed up and it has caused major issues with my businesses. Support is non existent.

Crew is great for our small team! I appreciate being able to set repeat schedules for each individual and each day. Recently, we have encountered a bug. The time set doesn’t always “take”. For example, I might set a shoe to be 12:30pm to 8:30pm and it inevitably changes it to 12:30pm to 12:30pm. Would like to have an update to address this issue.

We have been using the Crew app for a couple of years and it has been great up until the last few weeks. The app started changing shifts to 0 hour shifts (ie start 11am, end 11am). Sometimes I can change the specific days one at a time, but not make a recurring change. I have even tried deleting all future shifts and recreating the schedule. To add recurring shifts, they are now coming up as this phantom 0 hour shift. Even when I try to edit the new shift, the change does not show.
I have reached out to tech support twice. Someone replied and said they would let me know when there is an update on the issue. Other than that response, no suggestions or solutions have been offered.
I’m sad there is no support….and will be looking for new scheduling app options.
My Taco Bell location uses this app to communicate and its great! Nice for finding schedules and shift covers as well as messaging the group abt work. My only suggestion that would make this app SO much better is the option to direct message someone individually. That way, I can message my manager about things vs having to go to the whole group lol

The actual app itself isn’t terrible. The support though? Have a week or more for an issue to be resolved? That’s how long I wait nearly every time I have an issue. Support is ridiculous.

I’ve been using this app since 09/2016 and I really don’t know why I haven’t given a review (btw this is my first one ever), but let me tell you how much I LOVE IT!!! It’s well organized and I’m able to download the work schedule for all my techs and everyone can communicate with this app. I can assign tasks, request coverage for any shift and keep everyone informed about everything in the department. Thank you for having this available for others to use. Strong 💪 work ⭐️…………07/09/21 I did love this app but now too many problems. No help from support even with CREW PRO very disappointed!!!!

I have nothing but problems with this app. I can be in the middle of a great service area, and it will tell me it can’t connect. Constantly missing messages. Will read new messages, and they will still show unread.

Works fine for a small organization, but you quickly hit issues as you grow. Support is by email only and takes a couple of days or more for any response, if at all, even for paid subscriptions. If you call your team frequently, you will quickly run out minutes and will have to upgrade your subscription. For the money, there are way better, more feature rich options like Sling and When I Work.
A Few Things of Note 4/5
Overall this service works very well. Very strong communication tool for both teams big and small. A few things I would like to see implemented are as such:
*I wish the boss/manager could edit position titles without paying for Crew Pro. I feel that should be a given as positions change and some employees overlook or just don’t care to cooperate on such small matters.
*It would be super helpful if we could color code specific schedule shifts, whether it’s categorized as OPENER/CLOSER or for different department shifts like FRONT DESK/HOUSEKEEPING/MAINTENANCE etc.
Like I said, overall very good, but a few things I feel that would take it over the top.

Great App, Needs Improvement 3/5
I LOVE this app for communicating with our teams of 50+ employees at two restaurants. However, ever since it started to cost $30/month it seems the support staff is overwhelmed. There are constant glitches in uploading photos or videos, along with other tweaks that need to be made. I anticipate they’ll eventually work them out, but for $720 total between two stores annually, I expect them quickly.

Overall, this is a great app for tracking things on a small team. I post up the schedule, put out information, and use this as a way to cover shifts if needed.
The only reason this isn't five stars is because I have noticed lately that when I post up a picture, it won't be there the next time I open the app. It's just vanished, along with anything I wrote after it.

It freezes so much!! Every time I open the app to see my schedule or anything, it freezes and takes forever to load. In the past, I have waited for about 5 minutes before the app started working (and it was SUPER SLOW).

Right now you can’t add a line in the notes section. You can only use space. We want to put a client address and email address on separate lines then put notes for the job. Can’t do that right now. Otherwise it’s a good app.

This app is a great way to communicate with the people you work with. However, I transferred stores and with that the chat that had the team files including the schedule disappeared. I tried contacting tech support and they have not helped me at all to fix this. It’s been an issue and continues to be an issue that I can see my weekly schedule.
Needs search function 2/5
I have to use this app for, otherwise I wouldn’t bother. Not having a search feature this late in the game is a handicap for this app. Nothing like having something sent out and having to search for it a week later by scrolling through a few hundred messages.
It only works sometimes. If you have less than perfect WiFi it won’t load messages.

This app has become completely unreliable and the support team is totally non responsive. Absolutely do not utilize this app for business communication if you are depending on timeliness and reliability.

Often unable to connect to server or just doesn’t update messages and calendars. The online version used to update calendars no longer works.
There are many better apps out there. If given the choice, use something else.

The Everyone chat stopped working so I can’t communicate with my employees nor were they notified about schedule. Sent a message to crew support over an hour ago and still no reply. I was loving the app but obviously I don’t love the lack of customer service. Hopefully this gets fixed soon as this is hampering my business.

Our fire department uses this app to get messages from our fire chief instead of him calling everyone or sending out mass text messages. We also use it to communicate back and forth to have conversations. We use it almost every day. We love it!!
