Cub Delivery app reviews
Apple Pay 4/5
Needs to have Apple Pay option!!
NOT FREE! 2/5
You will find service fees sneakily buried in your bill and they are a percentage of your total. I tipped high for the sake of employees but this service charges will kill you. I am also trying to cancel my trial and the App is not intuitive at all. In an email reminder I got, it says click her to update your account and the link take you to the home screen of the App. I’ve tried to go into setting but of course no obvious way to cancel. Only have 2 stars bc the employees that shopped for me were great!!
Not good at all 1/5
I tried the delivery a few days ago. Granted, during the Coronovirus crisis I would expect shortages but this was ridiculous! Out of 19 items on my list they only had 3. I tried to send a chat message on the app to my shopper to just cancel my order but it doesn’t work. I called the store to cancel the order but they would not help me.
I can’t add items to an order after I have paid. It says I can, but it doesn’t give search results.
The app had told me that it would be 10 and free delivery and $0.61 tax when I checked out and paid for it my Wells Fargo told me that it spent $20 over somthing I was told would be $10 very disappointed
Not too bad!!! 5/5
Reading the reviews... I was a little nervous trying out the app. But I have 3 little ones so going shopping is a hectic!!! Especially if I only need a couple things. Minimum is $10 so I bought a couple eggs, milks, veggies. They came within an hour. My eggs weren’t cracked! Which was what I worried most. My first time using it, no bad reviews. I think I will be using this more often! Yes there is a service fee of $2 but I doesn’t bother me! 😊😊😊😊
No groceries 1/5

So I decided to try the app yesterday (1/27/19) and I was given a confirmation email that said to pick up by 7pm. We I had my daughter go to pick it up and they didn’t have anything for me. They said they never got my order. I will be continuing to do my own shopping. Never trust an app that doesn’t work the way it should!
Extra $2 Fee for “Free Delivery” and higher priced “Replacement” items added. 1/5
By Dugal McFee
So I decided to try this Cub Foods delivery app because the first delivery by Cub was supposed to be “free”. But buried in the bill is an extra $2 “service fee” in addition to any delivery fee. So even on subsequent orders that are marketed “free” for orders over $35, there is actually a $2 charge. Turns out that this service and app is not actually from Cub Foods, but a shady operation called “Instagram” who make it impossible to contact for resolution of issues. Also, many items are listed as available for purchase, when actually they are out-of-stock or Cub Foods doesn’t carry the item, which allows Cub Foods to make extra high profits from the higher priced “replacement” items substituted for sale items. Even though I responded quickly to messages about replacement items, the Instagram “system” did not recognize my selections of refunds over replacements. I was charged over 3 times the price indicated by the app for some items. Other items such as $6 (sale) full-sized watermelons were replaced by $6 (not on sale) mini-watermelons. Some of the produce on my order came in over 3 times the price indicated when I placed my order. The Instagram “shopper/driver” also completely disregarded written instructions for some items. Coupons are not allowed by Cub Foods cashiers for Instagram orders.
Horrible shoppers 2/5

Wanted to try Cub delivery as an alternative to Prime Now but will never use this app again. Too many items get replaced with poor replacements. When I was notified of changes, I tried to go in to cancel replacements but the app wouldn’t let me until the shopper already checked out.
