I have been a patron of Dave & Buster’s establishments for years, and over the years I have accumulated many, many Dave & Buster’s cards. In this current release of the app, I am finding it almost impossible to manage my cards. Each time I try and open the section for cards now, it gives me an error message since it can’t pull information from the server. It didn’t used to do this, but suddenly the app has become virtually un-usable.
I’m hoping the next version of the app resolves this issue with card management.
All my cards are gone and when I try and re-add them I get an error message about something wrong on D&B side and they’re working to untangle it. 3 days now and it’s not untangled. I had an offer for $50 for $25 and cannot access since I do t have the cards associated with the account anymore. Extremely extremely frustrating

I received text code and whenever I enter it, it says oops something went wrong try again. You know what’s wrong....someone needs to fix the app. I reinstalled app 2-3 times and attempted to login a month apart and issue still has not been fixed.

I have a love/hate relationship with this app. If it’s actually working then the app is great, but that’s only about 25% of the time. Most of the time I get a variety of error messages and can’t get anything to load. No matter how many times I delete and re-download the app, still issues.
This app is pointless. It takes the place of “power card”. You can use your phone instead of the card but you still get charged the $3 “activation fee” when you use your phone. Just save the space on your phone and get the card plus you won’t have to take your phone out fifty times during your visit.

Trying to “buy” a card (yesterday) on the app wouldn’t work no matter how many times I tried. So I purchased the card at the location and added it to the app. Now I cannot reload the card on the app no matter how many times I try. Sort of a waste of space on my phone to have an app that serves no real purpose. 🤷🏻♀️

I've used the app and wallet features without issue but I arrived at D&B in Concord, CA, and couldn't reload. The only solution the team could offer would be a new card, plus activation fee. 🙄 It was fine last week at the new Fairfield location. 🤷🏻♂️ Well, it's a great app when it works. I find syncing issues with wallet versus the app, but I refer to the screen on the game to give me real-time information. Hope you get this fixed because I love feeling like a kid again! Leaving 5 stars because it's a simple bug that can be fixed on the next update. Overall, the app is pretty good and convenient so you can have one less physical card to carry around.

Can’t get it to reload any power cards. Tried several payment methods and just comes up as an error.
Just downloaded the app, put in payment method, tried to reload cards, said payment failed. Tried again… same thing. Tried new payment method… same thing. I know one thing… it’s not my credit cards.

Every time I go to use Apple Pay it says payment failed and my card information is correct for all my cards I believe you need to update the app to fix the Apple pay issue this is irritating.

Bought $100 in store because buying on the app resulted in constant error messages.

I downloaded the app in hopes of saving $3 on the Power Card activation fee. I tried for an hour straight to use the digital card feature on the app and despite multiple attempts to close and re-open as well as reinstall the app it never worked. Now I have to use a physical card like a peasant. The description on the last update says they fixed bugs - well I guess “what’s new” should really say “what’s next” amiright? Dave and Busters?? More like Dave and BUSTED! (Refund me $3 and I will happily change this to a glowing 5 star review.).

Downloaded it at a D&B. Keep getting a “there’s an issue” error message when trying to do… anything. Tried. One ting to the D&B wifi and it still didn’t work. Seems like a cool idea, but ideas are a dime a dozen. No execution.

What a garbage app. I don’t think I’ve ever oriented it and not seen a ‘Whoops. Something went wrong’ message. It’s completely busted. Constantly logs you out. Doesn’t track rewards correctly. Rarely shows promotional offerings that are emailed and require the app to process. Just complete garbage.

this app has never worked once for as long as I’ve had it. I have an iPhone XR so I know it should be working. I constantly get the “error on our end, we’ll work to fix it” message. If only they had just stuck with the old system, that actually worked. None of this digital crap. You’re supposed to go to Dave and Busters to have fun. I’ve been having the exact opposite.

I used to love this app. But it’s entirely broken now. I opened an offer to redeem for $25 in free chips, then “an error occurred” and the offer disappeared. Went to recharge the card the normal way, and keep getting hit with an error message. Deleted and redownloading did nothing to fix this. Unusable at the moment.

Went to use this newer app today and nothing worked. It constantly threw errors. I received an email saying buy $25 in chips and get $25 in chips free, but I had to purchase through the app that doesn’t work. I asked the front desk at the D&B that we were at and they said there was nothing they could do - I had to use the coupon through the app. Well, the app is broken and no longer providing a way to redeem coupons without the app is a horrible decision. I also couldn’t recharge my virtual card because the app is broken. It’s a lot of good ideas that are extremely poorly executed. Please fix and allow alternate ways to redeem rewards and coupons.

Every time I try to do anything including load my card or anything, I just get an error message saying “looks like there’s an issue. We’ll untie that knot and get it working” but nothing is ever working.

I had the updated app and got an email that was spend $25 get $25 game credit. Thought, that’s cool, I’ll take the BF for Father’s Day. Good thing I went to purchase the credit before I said anything because the app kept giving me errors!!!! In EVERY tab!!!! Super annoying! I used to love this app, but this new update is USELESS! The app no longer let's you add offers or recharge in the app. The options are still there but an error always occurs when you try. I use my phone as a digital card and now I can only recharge it in the restaurant. My restaurant has staffing problems and no longer staffs the front registers so I can't recharge at all now.

The app simply never works. Every time you do any action within the app it always says that there’s an error and please try again later and that whoever’s in charge is working on it. But it never gets fixed. Even before they did their big makeover and change the app to the newer version, it didn’t even work then either! The same error reads whenever trying to add a credit card, recharge your current Dave & Buster’s card, opening rewards, and also when checking your messages for any deals or coupons. It’s the same message over and over every time you try to do anything within the app itself, it’s completely useless!
