I use to love Discover Card 2/5
First there are many things you cannot do on the app.
Second their customer service has gotten significantly worse.
Be nice to know what I was renewing on my card.

Not a bad app- issues are that they scan n pay pop up shows even if I didn’t request it. No sign in required so anyone who has my phone can simply scan by we or barcode and shop away. I deleted the app, then reinstalled it- hoping this resolved the issue. If it happens again- permanently delete.

The only option left to do to make this app the best is to not automatically trigger Face ID. Let us push the Face ID button if we need to open the app. That way we can use the quick view option without having to keep Face ID from scanning.
It would be nice if I could see tags on each transaction from the Recent Activity screen. I would also like to be able to add notes, separate from tags, for one-off purchases that aren’t common enough to need their own tag but I’m still likely to forget what the purchase was when I view it in the future.

Considering you cannot utilize this app without applying Updates first, It makes life very inconvenient.
Literally every time I open this app I am told that I must update it first before I can use it. I am sick of applying updates every time. Eventually I’m going to run out of storage space on my phone, dealing with apps like this.
Adds up, multiply it by 100 apps, add in all the dumb updates from Apple, and eventually you have no storage space left… hope you burn, discover.

This is the first I have ever used a Discover card. I was a Capital One, Chase girl. I have to tell you ….. I am now 100% a Discover girl. The app is fantastic, easy to use and basically sets itself up. I would recommend Discover card and app to everyone!! Thanks Discover for making my credit usage easy!

Discover was the only credit card that would approve me. As a college student with zero credit my bank of 10 years wouldn’t even give me a card. But Discover did and they’ve been awesome, their customer service is easy to reach real people and handle problems even in the middle of the night. Also their benefits are good and I haven’t had many issues as far as places not accepting them.

I love it that they keep track of credit score, inquiries and SS number. I am vigilant about watching out for ID theft and inquiry on my credit. Helps out to stay on top of it. With all scams one must be very aware of your finances. This app is big part to being vigilant. Good job Discover.
App is stuck 2/5
This morning I tried to use the app. It said I must upgrade to continue. I tried. It won’t upgrade. It’s stuck. I’ve tried several times today. I loved the app until this time. It won’t load and it won’t let me try again. So I’m stuck not being able to see any of my account information. So disappointed. I hope it will load or allow me to try again soon.

The discover app was decent until this new update it made me do. The update got stalled for some reason and wouldn’t work. Then I deleted the app and then tried to redownload the app, but it still won’t let me. Now I’ve tried the customer service button and it says error.

Not so much a review for the app but a review for the company. Closed my account for no reason even though I was keeping up with payments and paying my balance down. As the account was twelve years old my credit took a big hit for this b.s.

Have an account that I’m happy with. My problem is I have to digitally deposit checks or mail them in to deposit. Almost always I get a message that not all of the apps functions are working and I can’t deposit check. It’s frustrating there is no local branch so it’s hope for better luck later or snail mail.

We have had credit cards through several different companies. Discover is very secure, the easiest website to use, and has the best customer service. I love that I can halt use of one of our cards in a few seconds through the app and still use the other card. This is very useful if one card is misplaced. Most of our friends have had to change card numbers due to security problems with their credit card using other companies. Never happened to us in over 10 years with Discover. They are the best.

App Glitched and Withdrew $600 Twice ! 1/5
I’ve been using the app for a while now and thought it was great until I had a $600 payment withdrawn twice! The payment was scheduled to withdraw on 6/15/21 so on that same day I still see it scheduled and thought to edit payment to $720 and move to 6/18. But then I log into my bank account and see $600 was already taken out night before, 6/14! So I went back and edited payment again so as not to change things up and set it how it was... $600 for 6/15. I checked last night 6/16 and Discover only had one payment of $600 posted BUT my bank account has 2!!!! One on 6/14 and a second one on 6/16! I call account managers/ customer service at Discover and no one can help. They say they only see one posted to my account. Obviously! There’s a glitch that occurred and they need to check their bank account. This app has just created such a cluster mess!!! Why take the $600 out so prematurely? The developers if they are reading this, please check and contact Discover and advise of the problem.
New update won’t let me login after it takes minutes to load. My iPhone has the newest update so that’s not the issue. I don’t understand why they had to “fix” something that worked just fine.
Got a push notification of an unauthorized purchase but can’t login. Appears Discover is down because I can’t login. Really instills confidence, can’t lock my card without calling an Indian support guy now.

Been with discover for years and always use the app. The latest update added to the broken Face ID the complete in ability to login reliably. After restarting my phone and reinstalling I still can’t login. Forced to use website.

Discover offers many perks, and the easy to learn and find what I need app from Discover is one of the best advantages about having a Discover card! Everything needed is there, including help with how tasks may be done. And Discover’s 800# works 24/7 in case technical support is needed. Brilliant !!

the app works effortlessly and many of the features have been improved over time. i also like the additions of new features that make it friendly to use and achieve the same goals that i would on a computer. very nicely done! when it first started, the app had a lot of glitches…i’m glad i stuck around!!
Constant Updates 2/5
The only reason I stopped using my Discover Credit Card is because of the constant updates. Every month there is an update or else, I cannot use the site to pay my credit card bills. I should’ve given one star, but I gave two because, I’m sure, the intentions are good. Yeah, good, good, but not good for me.

Deleted and reinstalled the Discover app. FaceID is back and working properly. Excellent customer support. Now a 5-star app. Great functionality.
