Ill approach to lightning pass users causes massive delays for us regular park pass users. You leave us waiting and let a few go while allowing many fast past users slowing down the lines.

They promote the mobile ordering and at first it works then stops working for the whole day! Completely frustrating. It wasn’t just me. It seems like disney is constantly changing their fast lane process. This particular is is extremely non-user friendly. It takes a long time to figure out, several pop up windows and also a huge money pit when wanting to go on rides for the additional $20 per pop. Also if you are traveling with more than one group it is difficult to manage every one riding together. Disney is finding more and more ways to overcharge and now this app just adds to the frustration of it all. If i could give negative stars i would.

Trying to book for rides only 4 rides available the other 3 you have to pay and extra $15.00 not recommend to come to Disney California adventure 😒

Worst app ever from a billion dollar company. You get no clear direction on what to click and half the time it takes you to the website. Who designs an app like that?

I hate this app. It makes me angry that I have to use it at Disneyland in order to get any information. Ordering food is terrible. I tried to mobile order a dole whip and it made me come back an hour and a half later to pick it up. Which is ridiculous, when I used to be able to walk up and it would only take 20 to 30 minutes. Please do better Disneyland. I don’t want to use this app at your park. I come to Disneyland to get off my phone, not to be forced to be on it more. I would give this zero stars is it was an option.

I have been trying to purchase tickets online for multiple days. Disney will not accept my payment due to my address not matching from my account and my debit card. I then updated and correct them to match and it still will not accept payment. My husband wasted his time creating his own account and using his correct information that all matched with his card and it still did not accept payment. I had to cancel my hotel reservation. Thankfully it was in enough time I was not charged. I am highly disappointed that it is such a hassle to plan a trip to the “happiest” place on earth. Will be taking my business elsewhere to six flags instead!

When i purchased a reservation for ONE ride for two people. I purchased and it said purchase failed and canceled my first transaction. I checked the app and I still had to buy so I did and then shorty after, two charges of 40 dollars twice totally 80 dollars for ONE reservation!

Long lines! Staff does a horrible job of managing ride lines. You only get to use your ride if you pay more money!! App is horrible to use and there are more rides that are broken down than operating. Apparently it is only the rich that can go to Disneyland any more Otherwise plan on sitting around and waiting. Walt Disney would be ashamed of what this place has become. Save your money and go somewhere else!

The app sets huge limitations on where you can dine. It has now become impossible to enjoy those experiences where before Covid , we were more than happy to wait in stand by. But now, stand by is no longer an option and the experiences of those little visits to lamp lite lounge and blue bayou (for example)have become impossible to enjoy because there was more flexibility to get a seat even with a long stand by wait. There is also no transparency with the Fantasmic shows and where you can sit to get a good view. These little things were magic to us and once special to our experience. It has been 3 years since we have been back due to Covid respectfully and the anticipation and excitement were at an all time high. However , once we were told to download the app and got to see its many boundaries, it’s put a wrench in our anticipated trip.

Logged in at midnight 60 days before all days we were going to Disney to make food reservations and all three times there was a glitch until the morning when all the reservations were full.

Wait times listed on the app have not been accurate. The listed times are shorter than what we experienced as we watched Lightening Lane guests stream by us. Also, so much of your experience is becoming dependent on the app that I’m finding that I have to bury my face in my phone rather than enjoy the moment. And now, as I type this review, the text I am entering is somehow invisible

Disneyland have definitely made some improvements around the park. I especially like the gene plus, saved me a lot of walking. Because of the genie I was able to stay from open to close! A+ Disney!

If I could give this app negative stars i would. Anyone giving this a positive review is a Disney bot. Unfortunately, you are both required to download and use this to do anything at the parks. The mobile order rarely if ever works and there is no other way to purchase food at many venues. The in app support assumes you have never used a phone before and is not helpful. Guest services doesn’t know what to do. Watch as your “genie + lightening lane” attractions magically disappear. Anyway, “we can’t do anything, app works fine, have a magical day!” Just waiting for the class action lawsuit. Chapek for prison.

We’re not even there yet and I feel like coming home…do I need to make reservations for churros and Dole Whip as well? How will I know when my kid will want lunch or what they will want to eat 60 days in advance so I can make the appropriate reservation? Thanks a lot for completing over engineering this. How about selling less tickets so you don’t have to have a reservation for literally everything?

I’m sick of app based everything. We do enough in our phones. The only “benefit” of using the Genie+ through the app is to now pay for a Fast Pass essentially. Once everyone starts doing it- the lines will be the same anyway. Just let us enjoy the parks without the constant need for phone usage.
This app is required if you purchased the Genie+ with your admission ticket. The app is very confusing and not user friendly. Disney has the resources to have made this app easy to use. Needs major updates.

You are pretty much required to use this app to get around Disneyland and eat food. The app is not simple to understand right away and took much of our time just trying to figure out how to use it. It’s also annoying how they now charge for what used to be free Fast Pass. Not to mention even if you do buy the lightning pass, you have to pay an additional $18-$20 to “skip ahead” for the biggest ride attractions like radiator racers in Cali Adv. or the new Star Wars or Spider Man rides. It’s disgusting how greedy Disney has gotten when the tickets to get in are already outrageous.
