Map Adjustments 4/5
I would like the option to download the map which may make the app a little larger in size, but it wouldn’t force users to have to load the map constantly. Whether it be by moving around or simply zooming in and out, the user can always see the map forcing itself to load and trying to keep up with the user. It’s not easy on the eyes, and I think it’s worth the sacrifice of downloading it just to make everything easier and quicker. Completely unrelated: I have maxpass on my annual pass and I was told that it includes photo pass, but it has never allowed me to receive the photos without paying. Another individual purchased the pass for me as a gift so it’s purchased under their name, so I’m not sure if this is an issue with the app or simply a rule of Disney. Regardless, these are the only issues I have found within this app, and I highly recommend it.

app is the best and so easy to use everything you want to do, plan and see right at your fingers!! When in the parks keeps you informed of wait times, reservations if you want to purchase max passes for everyone in your party just a very nice way to stay on top of your Disney experience for sure!!!

This little app is a a wonderful ride on its own! It has added tons of great surprises. I am as amazed as if I were at the park. I am such a fan and look at the smallest details that really make the parks and the app truly wonderful.

Renewal and suspension of passes 3/5
During this unfortunate time I see how you could improve retention. I don’t see why I need to call an over loaded customer service line to set my suspension preference. I’d like to click a box in the app to choose my pass payment suspension and renewal preferences. I think this would take a day to develop and would save your phone room and customers a lot of work and headaches. All I want to do it set our passes to suspend payment and auto extend and renew. I wouldn’t mind a response to this.

Hold for 45 minutes yesterday. Called again regarding email. Today called the exact minute opened lines at 8 am. Now 8:37 still on hold. Donor but they are that busy. I think they want us to give up. Sorry.

Spam notifications 1/5
During the coronavirus shutdowns, I have so far received three spam notifications from this app, telling me to play games, learn to draw, etc. Notifications in the app are enabled for My Plans and My Photos, but nothing else. I do not want this! I guess the solution is just to delete the app until I go back to Disneyland again, but sending these should be outright banned without explicit permission.
Extremely Helpful, Eats Battery 4/5
This app is an excellent alternative to paper maps and FastPasses, and you can find anything you need at the park on this app. I used it to find the nearest Galaxy’s Edge restroom, churro stand, and charger station. That’s where my only negative comes in, which is that if you use this app extensively, it will eat through your battery very quickly.

I cannot express the joy that I have when I enter either Disneyland or DCA. I reverted into a kid like state. The ever changing food, seasonal celebrations are the icing on the cake of legendary rides/ attractions. The cast members are 93% happy and engaging. These apps which are easy to navigate are a welcomed addition to enhancing our many journeys to the parks. Assisting in wait times, food ordering, reservations and so much more. Not to mention the games we can play. Bravo Disney, bravo

Annual Pass reservations can be difficult 2/5
Half the time I try to reserve a date the app has issues and error messages. Another annoying thing is that there are weird videos that play sometimes before the page loads, they dont even seem to be disney related, and you have to exit out of the video to get to the reservation page...

This is literally the least usable app around. Uncertain if it’s an app problem or if it’s a WiFi problem at Disneyland. Never works even within the park. Suspect that Disney interferes with outside signal to funnel all traffic through their unsecured WiFi, but it can’t handle the volume. (Either that or they’re too busy tracking us)

Not sure what happened to Disneyland. From the entrance gate my first encounter with an employee was a rude one. Hustle me through without even a hello. Tried to find something to eat before starting my day only to find huge lines or reservations only. So off I go to my first ride only to find a 50 minute wait. Good grief, at this pace I’ll only get a few rides in today. Decide to shop for a gift and the first 3 stores I go into the staff are not concerned about customers but more huddled together discussing their work schedules and bad supervisors. Who runs this show. I paid ~$200.00 for this?? Not to mention the cost of my hotel room at the California Grand Adventure where I was kept up til almost midnight because apparently the people transports must honk their horn twice before moving their vehicle and the downtown Disney vendor’s vehicles all have back up beepers and re-stock their stores at 3am. The staff in the lobby was rude and short because they must keep people moving through the lines to maximize the profit. Three more days of this I booked. Oh joy! If Walt was still alive, he’d fire the whole bunch!

App crashes all the time. There was also an extended period of time where the app glitched and would not let us reserve our fast passes through the max pass. We were eligible for more fast passes but the app said “oops we’re having trouble confirming your selection” over and over again. I even tried closing the app and reopening it, still didn’t work. What a waste of money.

I’ve had this app since I went to Disneyland last March. It’s accurate about line waits 99% of the time about line waits but it’s also great for SO much more than just knowing line waits. Side note: I really love Disneyland so much and it’s like the only place I’m truly happy so if you feel so inclined to help out since I have $0 my Venmo is @ilovedisneylandsm

We were given the tickets as gifts knowing we could not afford to bring our family. Even though we signed in immediately to ride Star Wars we will not be getting on a ride as we were placed at 165. Lots of tears of disappointment from our kids. What a shame!!!!

I really had been expecting a peaceful dinner with my husband as we are celebrating our 5 year anniversary. The meal was what was expected. However the seating location really was the worst table in your whole restaurant.. right in front of the entry to the kitchen. On a slow minute 14 servers or bussers would walk past , up to 32 people in a minute going past. This is not relaxing, not peaceful and the amount of dust and crud on floor being stirred up . Not to mention the bussers carrying dirty plates with food still on them next to our table not covered or anything. Just a very dirty feeling experience with no relaxation . Not what was expected at all. .. sorry Disney. But you failed on taking care of these guests..

Never used the app before, but quickly found it to be user friendly. I was able to get the the queue for star war ride on the first try using the app. Really happy with it.

Worse app on my phone. Whether I’m connected to WiFi or oN LTE with FULL BARS, the app says I have “Weak or No Service.” Completely horrible and makes it IMPOSSIBLE to get boarding passes for the new Rise of the Rebellion Star Wars ride. When is Disney going to fix the ticketing process for this ride?!?!?

Disney has a great new ride to entice you and you family to blow thousands of dollars on three days at the park. I’m not sure if Galaxy’s edge exists because if you come three days in a row and arrive at the posted opening time, the workers smile and gleefully tell you that you missed out and the rider is already booked for the day. I will not be back after this deceptive advertising!

Not enough disabled access & considerations 3/5
Walking on a cane is hard enough. Being sent to kiosks that are far from the attraction to schedule a time then hiking back to we’re you are is even harder.
Rise of the Resistance is the worst. If you cannot make it to Disneyland @ 8 am to hopefully book a boarding, (which is nearly impossible for me coming from the San Fernando Valley & with a veteran with PTSD), I’m out of luck because there are NO considerations for disabled veterans, let alone regular people. Very disappointing for Disney.

I tried to get in a boarding group to ride the new Rise of the Resistance but the join a group was never available. I wish their instructions were easier to follow. I’m not sure if I was doing this right. Maybe next visit.
