By i hate the dominos app
Calling this app hot garbage would be a compliment. It forgets that I’m logged in constantly, and sometimes just tells me it can’t find any deliveries. Just yesterday it decided to make the Sign In button inactive. I cannot log in, but I cannot dispatch without signing in.
When the app does work, it has some helpful features, like one touch calling. That is, so long as the button works, which is about 70 percent of the time. It also has safe mode, which is supposed to go into effect while driving so as not to allow phone use. Safe mode is generally on most of the time, whether driving or not, so this also renders the app useless much of the time.
Generally, I restart the app an average of about ten to twelve times per seven hour shift. So, while the ideas behind the app are well intentioned, the functionality and practicality leave pretty much everything to be desired.

1. You are parked but the app is still in safe mode.
2.. you are out on a delivery but it is not showing in the app.
3. You guys need to put the map inside the app not opening another app.
4. Show us the millage money so we know how much money we made on millage.

It constantly logs me out every time I’m driving back to the store after completing a delivery. And it never keeps tracks of my tips and won’t even let me put them in myself.

😂 not surprising Dominos
This app is trash. I’ve uninstalled and installed it 2-3 times on my phone and when I try to log in as a driver (how we are supposed to do our deliveries) it won’t even load to let me put my username and password in. I click the app and it pops up for a second then closes. Total trash. Just delete it completely.

This app has been crashing for a week now. Can’t open it. Have tried uninstalling and reinstalling. No help. I am a Domino’s driver that was using this app daily. I liked certain aspects of it. Could use some improvements. What’s up?

If the app is not on the screen it no longer will refresh and add the next set of deliveries. The way around it is to keep your app on and open the whole shift or to close the app and relaunch it/or do not compete the deliveries and clock out the next set and it will magically have them added to your app!
if i wasn't moving soon anyway, this would make me quit. not only it a waste of time and battery, it's incredibly invasive. if you don't trust your drivers to return to the store on time, just hire new drivers. i almost hope the microphone access (i'm sure it's justified as being for the 911 button, but i'm very capable of dialing three numbers without that) is being used to spy on me so you can hear exactly how i feel.

I have IOS 12.1.4 and updated the app and whenever I try and open it now it crashes immediately. I am a driver so I was told to update to the most recent version now I cannot even use the app. Whats worse is that if they properly released this update they would've changed the IOS compatibility but they didnt so you can download it with an incompatible ios version and make the app useless.

I literally hate this app. I work for dominos and since this last update I haven’t been able to use it. It won’t let me login on it. I seen some changes before logging in. Confirm everything and still can’t login. It is literally messed up now

Delivery driver with an iPhone 5/5
The app was fine prior to the update but as of today I was completely unable to sign in at all, I imagine it’s due to me using an iPhone while the rest of my crew has android. It still sent notifications and said I was signed in at the store but would give me an error everytime I attempted to sign in even after deleting the app turning off my phone clocking out at work then redownloading and clocking back in

I use the app as a delivery driver for Domino's. Being forced to use it every day has gotten tiresome. The use of the GPS always causes since kind of failure on my phone. Most commonly, rerouting errors, sending you the wrong direction before rerouting, and even causing loss of the cellular network to the phone. Every time I've used the app to get directions to a customer's house, I've lost cellular, rendering my phone useless and having to fully restart it. Trash app that allows them to track drivers and micro manage what drivers do on the road,hinders drive times, and has put me at higher risk of danger rather than help.

As a tenured Delivery Expert Team Leader, I am asked to coach & train new drivers for the job and how to use this app. How is it, that every time it’s updated, the app gets worse? I’m constantly kicked out of it, and it often doesn’t update my current deliveries without closing out of it, then reopening the app. Furthermore, while pre-tips are fairly common now, some customers will add to the CC tip or tip cash on top of the pre-tip. However, as opposed to before, I’m no longer able to update the input to expedite the EON checkout process. Also, if drivers are being tracked by not only other team members, but also customers, the app could—at least—provide GPS directions. Our privacy is already invaded, so you may as well guide the new drivers to where they’re going, because a map is already built-in. You can do better. Please do so.

The apps goes into safe mode while standing still. Often the app will malfunction and my order no longer shows on the app so if I have to call the customer I have to use my personal number rather than calling from the app which shows dominos is calling. The app has brought me to wrong locations multiple times. sometimes doesn’t load my delivery information so I have no clue the information on some of my previous deliveries. The only positive thing about that app is that I don’t have to type in the address but which is spotty. Also if not used and a DM come in the GM can get in trouble.

I was able to login and use the driver side of the app normally last week but with the new update I cannot login. I haven’t changed my username store or password. Bugs appear to have been added not removed by the update...
This app is total garbage, you will regret the day you installed it on your phone. Rather then program separate apps to do the job well. They tried to create one app to do everything. It is full of bugs and since it tries do do everything it makes your entire phone becomes buggy. I have seen less destructive viruses.
Get rid of twists 1/5
Ive worked at dominos for years now get rid of twists start selling parm/cinna bites twists are completely and utterly inefficient and taste much worse than parm/cinna bites trust me...dominoes actively makes its employees jobs harder by implementing inefficient things like twists and delivery app..trust me no dominos employee in the world understands why they need to twist the same dough as a parm bite for 2 minutes..trust me you order a twist everyone is like “why”!!?!?

Tip tracking and calling customers from the app are great, but of course that’s predicated on the app, y’know. Working. The last thing I want to do in the middle of a delivery is fiddle with an app that’s ‘unable to retrieve deliveries’ or just crashes for no reason. If Domino’s wants all their employees to use this app, maybe put a little more effort into making sure it’s not riddled with bugs.

I get the idea, it was a solid try, but this app really just hardly functions. Half of my shifts come with complaints from all of the other drivers, since the app won’t even let people login. Other days, it is the opposite, the app will not let me logout- and stop using my location- for quite some time after my shift has ended. On some days, I will login, and then I will waste five minutes fighting with it before my delivery, because it will not show the deliveries that have been routed to me. I think it’s more efficient to dial a customers number into my key pad than try and use this, because most days it won’t even allow me to turn the call volume on. We have had multiple panics at the store because other drivers with the app accidentally call 911 while not even on their phones, which sets off an alarm in the store, freaking everyone out. Like I said, I get the idea, but the creators of this app did a piss poor job as far as functionality. Work on an update, and THEN force your employees to use the app.

Why not incorporate the tracking features of this standalone app into the regular Dominos app? Seems silly that I have to go to a different app to track my delivery. And this different app does not support Apple Watch or display correctly on an iPad.

Whenever it gets busy. It signs the drivers out and their unable to log back in. It either says you have something incorrect or your not clocked in. The app needs to be fixed. It’s okay when it works but when it doesn’t frustrating and a waste of time. When it barley works half of the time.

This will kill your phone battery and don’t think about streaming pandora or any music or audio service. This app will not allow you to listen while the app is active. This was the only issues I found before deleting the app. Take the stores gps tracker instead and save your battery and listen to what you want instead of the hardship on the phone.
Could be better for a Fortune 500 Company 1/5
The app has its good moments, and it’s bad moments from personal experience. The biggest pet peeve is when you’re standing completely still, not even moving, the app goes in to “Safe Mode” which makes it impossible to enter a tip or even navigate the app, and it can be a real hassle especially when it’s during the rush. Another issue I have with it is it won’t let me prioritize a double, meaning it’ll send me to my farthest one before the first one, which is on the way to the second. It also routes the GPS sometimes to street names that are similar to surrounding towns, example would be if it says “121 Nichols St” in one town, it’ll send me to the “121 Nichols St” that is 2 towns over. And the biggest issue with that is, drivers who aren’t from the area and aren’t too “techy”, it will mess up their run and send them 40 minutes away which is a real issue during the rush. It makes typing in the address easier with it automatically setting it up in the GPS, but it’ll also tell me, “complete my delivery”, if i’m within 3/4 of a mile away. It’s a decent concept but for a fortune 500 company, could really use a serious update to fix the bugs.

If the app worked as intended it would be wonderful, but it’s a coin toss whether or not something will go wrong, or simply not work at all. Tip tracking is bugged, addresses don’t work half the time, and if there are more than 6 drivers clocked in at the store the app crashes. Not worth the hassle.

First problem with this app is that even if I’ve clocked out in the store, it continues to track my location until I manually log out through the app. Second is that drivers should be paid more off the road since it’s using up data and some people can’t afford unlimited data. Third is that the app’s gps won’t load correctly and once took me to the same address two times when I was supposed to go the complete opposite way of our area. This app is just plain trash and it’s useless.
