.. First off I had two orders canceled & refunded(still in process) once the second order came in & the person car broke (accidents happen) the customer “care” wasn’t so caring... more like customer “sorry”... because they refunded which take 3-7 business days!!! On top of that... I can’t even get a discount for my first order because there was no confirmation for the longest time. Idk what it is, doordash has an issue there.. I no longer will be doing business with them in the Oakland California area...

I even got a fake name of “John Jackson” I recorded the entire phone call. This company will never give you the entire truth. I ordered food and two hours later there “customer service” gave me a fake name of “John Jackson” and their “manager” said they’ve never heard of him even tho he gave me an employee number. I hope u never order from them. They are true scam artists. I would give a half a star or zero if I could

I eagerly tried out door dash tonight because I got a coupon in the mail. I ordered a coffee from Starbucks, and my ordered was cancelled with no notice. I had no way of contacting my driver. I then ordered some sushi, and I had more than one person call me to tell me that one of the items listed on the menu on the door dash app was no longer available. It was frustrating to have the lack of communication between employees cause my order to be delayed. I’m still waiting for my order to arrive- I thought I’d write this review in the meantime because I’m not impressed with the service.
Incorrect orders 2/5
I’ve used this app many times and almost every time my order is wrong. It’s not just missing items but completely wrong food or missing items. Yes they give a credit when I say items are missing but then I’m still out part of my order.
2 hours is unacceptable. And, no response to my complaint by the company. I’ll go back to GrubHub.

Great delivery service, but they charge substantially more than competitors.
A delivery fee + a service fee + a tip for the driver quickly makes what looked like a $30 Order into a $50 Order.

The amount of driver cancelations is ridiculous. Multiple businesses in my area have switched to other services now. After having to go pick up my order after a driver never showed for the third time I’ll never use this service again.

I received a post car in mail to get $10 off plus free delivery, so I downloaded the app, created account, placed an order entered coupon code then the code said it wasn’t available in my region. I went ahead with the order, then to get a phone call 1 hour later saying the place I ordered from account wasn’t completely set up to do orders with DoorDash just yet. She offered to apply a $5 credit to my account but I declined telling her worst customer service ever. It never should have allowed me to place an order with a restaurant that’s not ready to do business. Plus, couldn’t they have called me sooner than 1 whole hour past placing my order? Terrible

After TWO HOURS, I had to go pick up my own order. When calling customer service, they gave me a $15 credit on a $40 order. Neither the restaurant nor Door Dash called to let me know “they couldn’t find a driver”. My order was ice cold and NO ONE MADE AN EFFORT TO MAKE THIS RIGHT. Never again!!!

They were once a very good service. The last three times I never received my order. The app is pretty useless if no bothers to deliver your food. It’s delivery company that doesn’t deliver so don’t bother.
I get a coupon in the mail today from door Dash say I get $10 off my first order, but when I put the code in they say this promo is not valid in my region. Then why the f**k do you send me this in the mail if I can use it. That’s bad marketing. Looks like I’m never use door dash or recommending it to anybody. But no one cares at door dash, as long as they make money off of everyone else.

So I made an account only to find that there are no restaurants in my area that uses door dash. With no use for this app, I went to delete my account only to find that there is NO WAY to delete my account and it won’t let me delete my address. So now my home address is floating around on an app I’ll never use. If I could give this garbage app negative stars, I would. Users aren’t safe using this app, beware.

The second time I used the app, it said I would receive my order within 40 minutes. I checked the app after 40 minutes and all of a sudden it said they were running late and it would be another hour. I never got a notification that it was running so late. I contacted the driver and he said he was new and didn’t know how to find the restaurant. Apparently he’d never heard of GPS. Just a terrible experience all around. I deleted my app. Don’t bother to download.

Estimated time changes way to much. My dashers have twice taken over 40 minutes to just pick up the food, and both have been showed on the dasher app to have either gone to other locations if the place I picked or had issues and had to go to a different location . Great service for people who don’t want to leave the house but terrible timing.

Customer service is terrible and incoherent. The rep was aggressive at the outset even with basic questions and conversation. When I asked specific questions the answers literally made no sense. Refused to allow me to speak with someone else.

After waiting nearly 2 hours for a delivery (I was extremely patient because it was lunchtime) after a no-show I contacted customer service via text and was told the driver was unavailable not picking up their call..... they apologized but never attempted to make it right so I will not be using their services ever again.

Doordash has saved me time and time again. I will always use this app to settle my craving. They’re great, the drivers are always nice and patient, the app itself has a variety to choose from. This app, maybe it makes me lazy, but it saves the trip to get that late night burger~ I highly recommend. HIGHLY.

Horrible horrible app. I was charged three times for one order but because they don’t “see it in their system” I could not be refunded for it . I’m currently working with my credit card company to remove the charges.

I live in an apartment building and use a variety of delivery apps. All of them - literally, every single one - is willing to make the effort to take the elevator and bring food to my front door.
For every single delivery, doordash drivers lazily leave the food with my doorman and run away. It’s gotten so bad that last night he called me and actually said I should leave them a one star review. LOL! So here we are. If you live in a high rise apartment building, don’t use DoorDash.

This is a suggestion more than anything.... I placed an order for pick up around lunch time for a restaurant that was about 5-6 minutes away from my work. I arrived to the restaurant in the middle of the time range my order was expected to be ready (11:49-12:06) at 12:01, they told me the order just came in and it would be a few minutes.... 20 minutes later I had to ask to make sure they actually had my order and it was 25 minutes total before it actually came out. The Door Dash app also said my order was ready to pick up, which is was not. During lunch hours, the wait should definitely be listed with at least a half hour range as I would not have left work to wait at the restaurant for a half hour for my food if I knew it would take this long.

Consistently Bad - Use another app 2/5
I have ordered food multiple times using DoorDash and every order was delivered late. On 2 occasions the food never showed up and getting a refund was a hassle. Don’t waste your time.

Some customers on other forums reported that they had an issue with fraudulent purchases and possible security breaches. Please look into it.

They never come on time! The last two times they were over an hour late and they don’t ever tell you what’s going on. Its usually because there’s not a dasher in the area but they don’t communicate this. Very frustrating then if you want a refund they say “the restaurant already prepared your food “ Will never use this app again.

My last two deliveries with door dash have been 45 mins- 1.5 hours later than the expected delivery time. I didn’t say anything the first time this happened and decided to try them again tonight to give them another chance... big mistake. My food was about 45 mins late and cold when it arrived. The place I ordered from is right down the street from my house so I should of just picked it up myself. The convenience of door dash has been seriously slacking. The customer service rep gave me a $5 credit... doesn’t help much since I probably will not be using the again. If I had enough credit for a FREE meal I probably would try them again, but $5 off isn’t enough for me to wait 2 hours for my food. I will not be recommending Door Dash.

Can’t get orders right. 1/5
I decided to give them a shot since recently they’ve begun getting some of the better restaurants in my area. First two orders were fine...then three orders in a row of wrong/missing items. To their credit they readily gave you refunds (in the form of credit for another order) but their is zero customer support and no fixing of mistakes so you’re stuck with what you got unless you do another order. I’ll finish using up my credits but after that I’m deleting the app.

I live in Oregon. My address on file is in Oregon. When ordering, it sent my order to NEVADA. Earlier I had a successful delivery from the local Taco Bell. There needs to be a way I can see what I can order from in my own state. On top of that, the dasher contacted ME about the location mishap asking if I really ordered through door dash. Door dash cancelled my order and is hopefully refunding me. Hopefully a new update comes out making sure we only order from our own state or at least letting us see the address of the place we are trying to order from!
If you like cold food and to wait 1 hour plus this is the way to go

I ordered a super simple drink order form a Starbucks only about a mile away and after two hours of waiting I received a text message that the driver was running behind ( no kidding) about 20 minutes later I received another text saying that the item had been delivered but it hadn’t. I called customer service and they were extremely helpful and refunded my money but as a first time customer I definitely won’t be using this app again after this.

Hi! I haven’t used DoorDash yet, but there is a deli that is listed that indeed does not deliver!!! I go to the deli and just happened to ask the owner do they deliver and he said no and that he has never heard of DoorDash. So I would a actually check to see what places do deliver before adding them to your app.
Lying about $1 delivery 1/5
This app claims to offer $1 delivery for the first 30 days. It worked the very first time I did it and then the next day I attempted to order lunch and even though it still says $1 for 30 days, it’s charging $4.99 delivery. I even tried making a new account with a different email but it’s not giving me the discounted delivery price.
