I fall in love with a story or an author on here but I have to admit, this app is way overly priced in their coins for one story. And I wish there was a way for it to be interactive so we could help to proofread for the authors to help them out.

They have no respect for the reader. A book can cost you several hundred and yet they do not load the complete novels. there is a long waiting time for chapters and they go up by drops

I love the stories on this app and like that you can earn points for reading. I give it only 2 stars because they don’t update the books often enough and seem to not finish the books even though the author has written and or finished the book. Other apps with the same books are farther along or done so it very frustrating. If this changes I’ll give it 5 stars but otherwise I’m just wasting money on books I can’t finish.

This app was good when I stared to read books. But now everytime something is updated on it, it goes wrong. Now I'm starting to rethink my idea on how good it was. And I really did like it. So yeah.
I think u should make it so we can send the tokens that we have in one account to another one. That way if we have two accounts we still can read.

There are some great authors in this app. I wish I could find their books elsewhere because Dreame, and most apps like it, over charge to the point your paying way more per book than buying a bestseller at B&N ($30+).
On top of that, the coins you buy to read have unidentified expiration dates that you aren’t told about when your purchase or detailed in the terms and services, which I did read. You get notified the day they expire and good luck getting them back. I still can’t find a customer service source on the app.

I use to live this app. Now it won’t even keep the books that you’ve downloaded or keep the order which you read them😡😡it starts over like you’ve just downloaded the app……. And then you have to go looking for the book you was reading and the place where you stopped!!

I have tried so many times with this app but it just gets worst.. good stories but it’s a rip off. If your gona charge to read don’t increase the price the more you unlock a book.. I refuse to pay over $20 for a poorly edited story no matter how good the plots are. That’s ridiculous. It better I just go buy a hard copy in book stores and support authors who actually put in the work. The Facebook ads are good and they get you hooked but the books always fall short in the middle of the book. Good plots but poor execution. Save yourself the unnecessary disappointment. And waste of money.. not worth the download

The last time i used to app was a few months ago dreame still had the feature to read a certain amount of time and get points(coins) so you can open another chapter now you can’t even do that without having to read multiple hours at a time just to even get to the next chapter, I used to love the story’s but now i can’t even read what book i want to read without having to jump from story to story just to get less coins than what i would when i’d earn points.

Super frustrating you have to pay by chapter and most of the books are not finished. I feel like an author should not be allowed to submit a book unless it is finished. Some of these authors takes months and months to update if they ever update. I have a couple books that it’s just never going to get finished and yet I paid for earlier chapters. Very very frustrating

I came in reading a book that was advertised on instagram. I was really good and I continued reading through the app. When I was a few chapters in I was then informed that I had to pay real money to get coins in order to continue reading. At first it was fine. So I paid the lowest amount of $2.99 for 300 coins, think that would be enough to get at least half way through the book. It was not. I got to a really good part of the book and ran out again so I paid 2.99 for 300 coins. It got me a few more chapters then I was at 0 coins. I normal book from a store is $15-$20 I can not see spending more than that on a book that is not even published or edited. The next chapter for the book was going to cost 109 coins, meaning I would have to pay more money to read this book that is no where near finished and I find it to be a spam. The story line is wonderful but no worth the money.

I was wondering, if the app dream. Could share their books on other apps. And instead of unlocking, each chapter the chapters would already be open. For example, if the app dream wanted to share their books, to a wider platform. They could try to put their books on the app Libby that way anyone could read their books for free on the apps Libby. As well as see if Library’s would like to share there books, with people.

The books are not incredibly well written and they can be very pricey. Like more expensive than a hardcover best seller at a boutique bookstore pricy. Paying between $30-$50 dollars for a poorly written romance novel is not my idea of a fair. I mean, I like romance novels as much as the next chick, but not for $50.

I’ve paid money on the audio version of this app. I only use when I take a bath which I’m now trying to do but yet the app has disappeared on my phone, App Store etc. Not cool Dreame. It’s one thing I after another with y’all.

The books are RIDICULOUSLY expensive. I spent $10 real money and it didn’t complete one book at all. Then the ways they have to get bonus coins (which expire) constantly rip you off. And they lie flat out to you. I “won” over a total of about 200 coins. Was told they unlocked a different book that was automatic. The second time was told I actually used coins. Not points. When I have photo proof I did. Run. Run from this app immediately save your money for better written books that may actually go to the authors.
I see the whole please reach out. I have multiple times and were blatantly dismissed.

I’m giving this 2 stars just because some of the authors on here are so amazing, but this app has a lot of issues and glitches.
There’s no way to do any organizing of your library (can we get sections for finished, currently reading, and want to read?) and it’s impossible to remove a book if you’re no longer reading it. It doesn’t even remove the book if it’s no longer on the app!
Whenever there are updates it always drops my current books down to the bottom of the list which wouldn’t be a big deal if you could, as previously mentioned, remove books you were no longer reading.
When the app updates it will sometimes lose your spot in book.
Last main issue is that there is no warning when free books are switching to pay-to-read (PTR). There are incredible authors that are worth this transition, but a solid percentage of books are poorly written (good story, but terrible grammar, spelling, basis errors) so switching it from free to PTR just ends up behind a waste of them. And then, you guessed it, it’s in your library forever 🙃

It’s entertaining if you can get over the poor grammar. In order to get coins to purchase chapters, you have to buy them or do “tasks”. The pricing for the chapters is silly. They are from anywhere from 5 to 80 coins per “chapter”. Some chapters are barely a page and a half. One book, “awakenings” would cost $62.67 if you bought the whole thing. The “tasks” send you to sketchy websites. One of the tasks was to visit Walmart.com. Guess who got a fraud alert on their Walmart account a few weeks later? Yup. This girl. Promptly deleted the app.

I love reading the story even though lots of spelling or grammar. But some of the authors write paragraphs talking about life and story instead of using author notes this makes the book cost more. Then their are the bugs like a pink dot that shows update but nothing is new or edited, other book updates with nothing. The last bug put whole books after last update chapter which is crazyThen the price went up pre chapter and a lot of author seem to have stopped updating completely. Paying for a book that isn’t complete and waiting for more is not cool then being asked by author to vote for book is really unfair.

In all honesty they have some pretty good books but they end in the most predictable way. It’s sad really because the book just solves one problem and they’ll end the book right there and then. Not to mention you spend $30 on a book that has so many spelling errors and rereading the same chapter but in a different point of view essentially wasting your money. I don’t recommend downloading this app at all.

All these apps to read book. It’s scam. You have to buy coins to read. To support the writer, yes I agree then sell the book. 9.99 for coins that last 5-10 chapters then have to buy again??? Sell the book not chapters. Don’t waste your time, you spend more then the book is worth.

I don’t know if I’m old but I remember the days when I could get $0.99 or $2.99 books on the kindle that were completed and edited. These books although very interesting are incredibly expensive (sometimes $20 for one book) and they are poorly edited and riddled with errors. I pretty much just use this app for the free books cuz I can’t justify spending $15+ on books that are full of blatantly obvious spelling, grammatical and syntax errors.

Beware of the ‘Lucky Draw’. Instead of getting the bonus points to help unlock chapters, it is deleting them. Yesterday, I drew 8 but got nothing. Today I had 41 after checking in and the reward gave 5 more but instead it deleted what I had and knocked me down to 26. Sent in feedback on the forum but no response.

I had to pay/slowly unlock certain books to read. After a while, they become locked again you have to do the whole unlocking process again. It absolutely ridiculous. I’m done using this app for good.

I paid $10 that only got me 3/4 of the way through a book that dragged on for several chapters longer than necessary and had very poor spelling. A few times I had to stop to figure out what they meant and realized it was a gross misspelling. So very disappointed.

This app is ran for amateur writers. Most of the stories in here have not been edited in any way. There are so many punctuation and grammar mistakes. There are so many spelling and diction mistakes. But a lot of them start with good ideas. They need editing though.
While I like the idea behind this app. I give this a 1 star because it charges you and arm and a leg to read bad writing. You get a few good chapters for free but as you read more you have to pay for each chapter. And the quality of writing seems to deteriorate the longer the book goes on. Paying for the book to read is but bad. But to shell out $30 or more to read a badly written book is just ridiculous when you can get a good book for way less then that. Then there is the other issue that I am absolutely not okay with. I paid to read a book all the way through. I liked it. It was one of the few good books in there. Now I go back to red it again and I have to pay for it all over again. This is not okay. I will be deleting this app.

They don’t care for their readers and especially don’t care for their authors. After most of the authors I follow were forced to leave I’ve deleted them and will never recommend them to anyone. They have repeatedly relocked chapters and whole books that I paid for. Takes weeks to get a reply yet they don’t do anything to fix the issue aside from telling you to uninstall and reinstall, and even after you tell them it’s not working they don’t return my books nor do they refund what I paid, despite proof I had previously paid for these items.

I’ve been reading on this app for over two years now. I used to really enjoy using the Dreame app. A lot of the stories were well written and intriguing, however, this is not enough for me to keep using it. The prices of the books and chapters have increased dramatically and most stories (whether well written or not, edited or not) cost just as much if not more as a hard back book. That’s insane! Come to find out that most of the authors only receive 8% of PURCHASED coins and absolutely nothing from BONUS coins! I’m thoroughly disgusted with this company. The authors and readers deserve better. Follow your favorite author elsewhere to support them because Dreame isn’t for the support of authors like they promote.

Ok first I hate that I have to give this a low star. But I started a story and paid and paid and paid to finish one story Her Alpha Triplets, in Chasitys POV loved it written by Johanna J. When I purchased more to read the Triplets POV was in middle of reading it and bam all of what paid for Gone! Everything I read everything I paid for back to being locked. I wasn’t done reading I had just paid more to continue reading the triplets pov I knew I wasn’t out yet on pages to read. I am so furious I can’t continue to read after I paid to exactly do that I paid for that stuff so why is it all locked and gone. Please someone fix this!
