    I hate dropbox so much. If you have a large project you try to send clients, and it exceeds your bandwidth allotment, they cripple your account for days. They could just not allow the one download to happen. But no, they cripple your whole account, don’t tell you for how long, and don’t give you any information about why it happened. As near as I can tell I was nowhere near my limit. I pay for a pro account and we were not close to 400gigs in a day. No warning, no information, completely useless tech-support that copies and pasted the same paragraphs basically telling you you’re out of luck. They’ve completely screwed me over and made my company look stupid to my clients. I’ve never been treated worse by a company. I hate dropbox. Utterly disgraceful.

    I’ve trying to reach a live help person. All I can find is the online community with over 2,000 discussions or an automated bot that doesn’t understand. Where are the live customer service people? I want to move some of my files into another app. I just can’t find out how to do that.

    I Love Dropbox! My 2GB! I’d sign up instantly, except many of us Don’t Need 2-3 Thousand Gigs of Storage space @ $100.00+ a year. How about offering 500GB/yr at a lower cost and see what happens. Thanks

    I do not know what I would do without dropbox. As a photographer, I need to send large images to clients, which cannot be done through email. Dropbox allows me to store the files, send and view them at any time. I also like to be able to have others view my images from you phone.

    I have two phones, an iPhone and a Samsung Galaxy. When I've uploaded a video from my iPhone to the app and then try to view it on my Samsung Galaxy, the video is there, but NO SOUND. I've taken all the steps their help dept told me to, made sure everything was updated, but no resolve. I pay for this service too. I have the plus. But I think it's cancel time because I believe my video's metadata is the problem and my videos are being censored. Fess up DropBox. We know it's happening.

    Old app icon looks way better, and yea the files cache didn’t work I tried clearing it reinstalled app and all, I know a lot about iPhones and apps since iPhone 3G came out, old app icon is still better update: they really listen to feedback, dropox services are top tier

    Our active account was shut down and deleted and they won’t respond to requests asking what happened. Find a different cloud storage unless you want it to possibly randomly disappear with no explanation or recourse.

    The suggested places to go to find out how to delete files just keeps me going around in circles with no help or resolution. Even online user help is no help, and shows other users with the same, unresolved issue. Absolutely the worst, most frustrating customer service I’ve ever encountered, and believe me that’s saying a lot! No way to contact a human so the incorrect, useless instructions for deleting files on an iPhone remain unchanged and useless. Seems there’s not even a human that sends an email response. And that response doesn’t help at all. Unbelievably frustrating as the instructions to delete files seems easy, starting with “click on the ellipsis next to the file” except there is no “ellipsis” next to the files. I’m trying g to contact support I got a bot. I asked how to delete a file but the bot came back with : “where are the files you want recovered “ and gave me 3 options to choose from, with three buttons that popped up. Of course none applied to my problem but I couldn’t continue or send and response unless I clicked on one of those. And since then, any time I retry to contact support the same thing appears, and will always appear making it impossible to get any help. And of course trying to contact support just keeps you going in circles. The app doesn’t let you get rid of files so of course you run out of space and the app wants you to upgrade and pay for more space. Don’t pay attention to instructions on how to delete anything, you won’t see anything like what they tell you to do. I have to use because of my job so I’m kind of held hostage. I spoke with other users and had the same problem, not possible to delete old files.

    I find Dropbox difficult to navigate. Perhaps I am not putting in the time to learn it better, but it seems very un-intuitive. Even when I try to send this review I am forced to put in a nickname. Why can’t I just send the information. Too cumbersome!!!

    I’ve used Dropbox for a few years now. Recently I’ve had time to look over my cloud options and it looks like Dropbox is always behind the other major players in this field. I will be canceling this subscription as the other cloud services always seem to offer more and are easier to navigate. I’m usually to busy to look at all the features but over the last month I feel like I’m getting ripped off by Dropbox. Yes it’s my fault for not looking into these cloud services but over the last month I realized that 2 other cloud services are more user friendly and just overall a superior to Dropbox in every way. If nothing else from my review, do your homework and use the free month on all cloud services so you know what you are getting. Go up to a computer repair center and ask for cloud advice. This service isn’t right for me but it may be perfect for the next person. Just try a couple different cloud services before settling on one.

    I have been trying to cancel this subscription for years and it’s giving me the run around I went back to my Android phone (I have an Apple now) and the only subscription I have with google is for extra storage ($1.99) I do not know why $13 keeps getting taken out of my account when I cancelled a couple of years ago & do not use!     So, we’ve got storage, transferring, and multiple companies that bring the platform together. Apple, Microsoft, etc. But, in uploading, there is no clear indication that, videos will upload. Some may, some stay stagnant. This makes my work ill. I cannot work from a phone that has low space… ….

    I’ve been using Dropbox for over 6 years on a paid/upgraded subscription. In the last 3 months Dropbox has twice suspended my account for 24 hours without warning. In fact they don’t even give a specific reason why. Their chat rep sent me a link on “possible” reasons. None of which I felt were violated. Here’s 3 reasons why Dropbox is losing my business: 1 - unable to specifically tell me why my account was banned 2 - Dropbox will suspend your account if someone else shares your link with too many other people. Wait - what? That is completely out of my control. Why wouldn’t Dropbox just disable the link that is causing the issue? Instead they shutdown my entire account with no specific reason why? Horrible policy. 3 - Customer service takes hours or days to respond. During my first issue their communications were so slow that the 24 hour ban lifted itself resulting in me just giving up on a resolution. And as I write this I’m now waiting over 2 hours for a response. Meanwhile my customers are calling asking for their files. Vague - Bad Policy - Bad customer service. I’m hoping that by writing a public review will inspire some change at HQ. Because one knows you can’t get through to customer service. Sincerely Former customer

    I have used Dropbox for perhaps ten years or more without a problem. I recently experienced a problem, however with Dropbox Passwords. First time I tried their “Support” system which I discovered is nonexistent. They basically just shuffle you around to morons who have no idea how to address a simple problem.. The idea is you will finally give up. I did and moved to 1Password and have moved all my files tro iCloud Drive. They win

    Dropbox has dropped the ball on M1 support and despite users begging for this feature, that didn’t seem to “be enough to bring to the developers” according to your official support team. Then all the sudden you are going to do it but we have to wait over 6 months for you to catch up? Give me a break. I’m Done with you guys. You need a new ceo and executive team, you lost a 10+ year Dropbox professional customer today.     Video and music apps no longer play files stored in Dropbox. Let’s hoper they correct the problem. Support doesn’t respond. Google a drive works better.
