Fun way to learn a language 5/5
By Ocean in a Drop
The benefits of a fun, fast, interactive and interesting way to learn are clear. I am new to the iPad and could not get the app off vertical mode to the horizontal I prefer. Also, in any app I like to know upfront potential costs. Other than these 2 drawbacks, I like Drops.
So far so fun 5/5
So far it’s a super fun app and it does actually teach you! I always want to keep playing after the 5 minutes are up. I have tried a lot of “game” learning apps, and this one is actually fun (and free!).
I do wish that you could earn more time. Like each session you get coins or something to “buy” increments of time or more sessions.
First time trying it! 5/5

I actually wanted to do more!!
I’m only using the “free” 5-minutes-a-day offering, but I’m truly learning a new language. It’s easy...and FUN!
Best language studying app 5/5
I just couldn’t get bored on this app. I’m down to challenge myself as much as i can. The design / progression of the game is so considerate. It’s such a good starter point for anyone who wants to give language a try!
Easy to use 5/5
Really easy to use
Work on your brain to memorize new words
Drops is fun 5/5
Drops has pictures that help you understand the language easier and has reminders in order to keep you on track

Nice but too expensive
Easy to learn 4/5
Needs to include more in the free version
Exciting way to learn 5/5
This is definitely something different for me! I love how it keeps me engaged with my learning as well as my retention on the words!
yay! my fav app <3 way better than duolingo (by 500%) only problem is the 5:00 limit.. makes it very difficult to learn a language fast
It’s really fun! 5/5
Finally something that I can learn that’s fun😂
Love it! 5/5
I’ve been obsessed with the Japanese and Korean language for some time now, this app has helped in so many ways and I’m learning new things every day!💖💖

Makes learning languages fun
Fun interactive and easy way to learn a language 4/5
The app ‘Drops’ is fun/intuitive to use when I have downtime and the swipe option to allocate words you know/don’t know is something a lot of people can relate with and use.
"Drops" is fun 5/5
Liked it! It was easy, to play along with and had the pronunciation in both audio and written forms.
One of the funner, more “progress-inciting” language learning apps! Great! 4/5
Someone said this app is “one of the best things to happen to language learning...” and I agree (so much so that I purchased the 1 year subscription.)
The app is Freaking Fantastic and absolutely going to improve your fluency in the language of your choice.. with that being said (ALONGSIDE my 4 star rating..)
Here’s a few... like 5 things, I would love to see improved upon that would set this app far out in front of its competitors:
1. More color, more often, in the pictures
2. The picture for “Open” should be a sign that says “Open” (I understand there are many users from other countries and every picture requiring words would have to be in their native language, but I feel like it could be accomplished at least for major demographic countries... (Top 3 at least? Hire a whole team of graphic designers? Idk how it could be accomplished but it would be nice..)
3. I get confused on the “Tinder style” swipe left or swipe right ones.
I get it wrong (a lot) just because I look at the word first and swipe right because it’s spelled right; or I look at the picture and it was the previous exercise’s correct answer or something and I swipe incorrectly
4. I would like to be able to just TAP on correct answers more often, instead of having to swipe and/or drag-and-drop (SOME ARE wonderfully tappable and are nice...)
An example would be:
It would be nice to TAP the open head to learn the word, or TAP the skip icon to skip it... instead of having to drag and drop...
5. (In German, at least) the nouns are not capitalized when the words are broken up into syllables (a wonderfully TAPPABLE exercise by the way) and it can make it a little confusing to spell the word out properly sometimes.
Other than that the app is AMAZING and I look forward to doing the exercises every day!
The free version is short but good 5/5

I like it because makes me think fast.
Good job! 4/5
I don’t think I’ve had such an informative lesson in a long time. The language options were perfect for what I wanted to learn
Engaging and aesthetically pleasing 5/5
This is a truly superb language app. It's engaging, attractive, and easy to use. It's worth buying the lifetime subscription.

I have just downloaded this app and so far and I haven’t experienced any problems! There are no adds or payments. You can get it all for free! I highly recommend this app if your studying for a new language. You can study Spanish, French, German, and much more!

This app is a great way to supplement learning a new language. Five minutes a day to review vocabulary and listen to pronunciation is ideal when you’re on the go. Waiting for an appointment or on the commuter train, this is a great app to keep you motivated!
Good start 5/5
Really thought it was quick to grasp
So far so good 4/5
Looks like it will be helpful

Fun to use and learn!
You may think that’s awful but for learning a new language having a vocabulary word thrown at you over and over is so nice. Think you’ve seen the last of たまご? Nope. Here it comes again. It’s a really nice vocab app so far. I’ve only used it a bit but it lets you skip words you already know and seems to know which you’ve gotten wrong the most. I’ve been teaching myself Japanese for a while but this is a great little app!
3 days in 5/5
Have a Vietnamese gf so I’ve been wanting to start learning her language but it’s a daunting task. Only using the free 5 mins a day and only 3 days so far but this app has made the initial step to learning the language enjoyable.
I have really enjoyed this app. Short bursts of learning makes it easy.

This app is really great! It really works to help learn vocabulary!
FUN to learn French with! 5/5
By Love it😀
this app is so fun! i use duolingo as well, but this app has taught me newer words in a shorter amount of time. love it so far, and the five minute lessons make it easy to keep up with and committed to over time, which is something i’m bad at doing no matter how much I wish to learn a new language. I hope this helps when I begin my french studies in college as well, and the layout is so beautiful and pleasing to the eye! Thank you.
This is such an amazing game and although you only have 5 minutes they teach you a lot in that short amount of time!!!
I Absolutely LOVE this app! 5/5

I fell in love with this app immediately. Thanks for making this!
Very useful app 5/5
By Big Swede Lars
This app is useful for several reasons. First, the words are ones that could be used in everyday conversations. If there is a word you don’t need, you can hide it and it won’t come up for review. Second, the drawings that illustrate each word help make the meaning clear. Third, the illustration for several of the verbs are active and not static. This also helps make the meaning clear. Finally, the developers welcome suggestions for improving the app. This is a smaller company and the app covers 32 languages so give them time to work on releasing updates.
I would eventually like to see more words added but this app is quite useful now for refreshing and expanding the number of words you know. Well done!
