Love it 4/5
Excellent way to learn another language fast!
as an instructional designer & graphic designer 5/5
the content was simple, but I was interested in the delivery and visual presentation. nice work. it built on knowledge as the learner went along, slowly becoming more difficult.
Really good 5/5
It's woooooow app
So far so fun 5/5
By Bobby Trill Hill
I’m enjoying this app a lot so far. It’s so hard for me to find interest in much things these days and learning another language is so difficult later in life but this is fun and a fantastic way to learn another language
Great app for learning vocabulary... 4/5
... but this app does little to nothing in teaching grammar or sentence building.
I’m peeved now because I purchased the premium / lifetime package about 1-1/2 years ago. The most recent update has kicked me out and now wants another payment.
Sorry.... you’ll fool me once, not twice.

Fun While Learning! 5/5
I tend to be a perfectionist. This program allows me to review vocabulary words until I feel competent to proceed.
I am actually having fun learning the basics of Russian with Drops in conjunction with Rosetta Stone.
Japanese is lacking kanji writing, sentence instruction 2/5
By reviewer nickname here
The app is for learning vocabulary only not how to speak/write Japanese. It also only lets you practice hiragana and katakana and doesn’t contain the full alphabets, either (e.g., no sha, ji, da ...). No kanji practice! Just looking at kanji isn’t going to help as much with learning. Didn’t learn about these serious drawbacks until after I paid for a year. Sad.
Love it 💕💕 5/5
When you get something wrong or you don’t remember a word it really helps you work on it .
Good fun 4/5
The clicking and dragging makes it more like a game and interactive.
I like it 5/5
I like it, this was my first time ever using it and I already learned a lot.
Really good! 5/5
I like the app and how it functions and looks. My only complaint is the lifetime payment. I just wish for it to be cheaper...
This is a must have when learning a new language 5/5
Amazing form of teaching the words and showing pictures to remember them as well. I just wish they would have more than 5 minutes at a time available
Me like 5/5

Love it! 5/5
This is a great and fun learning tool! This is definitely my new go to game!!
Great way to learn vocabulary, and good for pronunciation, too. 4/5
I like that there are many languages to choose from. I've been using Drops for a couple of weeks now and it teaches vocabulary, and some short sentences. I started with Esperanza but now I am reviewing Indonesian.
It is pretty good but I noticed a couple of mistakes. Soup is sop or soto, or even coto (Coto Makassar, an ethnic variant of soto), not sup. Telor is pronounced that way (tuh-lore), but your speaker is probably Javanese so says telur (tuh-lure) instead. Indonesian and many of the ethnic languages are phonetic, but pronunciation is influenced by the ethnic languages, so if you go to Sumatra or NTT, they say pedas (piquant) pay-DAS, but Javanese will say it their language's way: pedes, which is pronounced puh-des (like description). I lived in Indonesia for 15.5 years. Saya dapat berbahasa Indonesia. Hati-hati dengan bahasanya.
Especially good for learning another alphabet 5/5
I started drops to begin learning Arabic and found that it is REALLY good at teaching the Arabic script to English speakers. Everything else is great too i was just suprised that they figured that out.
Awesome way to learn a language!
Best Language App 4/5
I love the visual effects that the app presents. The organization of the app could be better, but overall the experience is great.
Excellent visual, hands on educational guide! 5/5

Just plain fun learning.
Enjoyed my first Spanish lesson in Drops and looking forward to my many more 5 minutes sessions❗️

I LOVE this app! It makes me really want to study, and I think schools should use it. It’s awesome there’s pictures, and it’s very fun. But, there are a few VERY strange words, like ‘I dislike’, and I think there should be a pronunciation key? I feel like that would be amazing. So, if you tap the word it shows it above it. Or a help button. Please do something like this if you have time! I love this app so much, and there is not much you can do to make it better. Please consider this!
Good app! 5/5
Very handy and useful
Really Easy To Learn!!!! 5/5

Fun and educational 5/5
Really fun. Learned easily.
Mucho beautiful! 5/5
This app is simple, yet powerful. Also the interface is beautiful and all the moving parts are very smooth. This app has helped me tremendously in my language learning journey.
Gracias, muy bien!

He is intensely enamored by this application and has even gone so far as to say that it is his favorite one on the App Store. And If my bro likes it then I do too

Love it!! 5/5
It is an excellent app!! Shows pictures, meaning, and spelling!! It’s a great app!!
I love this app because it is easy to learn the language you want. But it’s a bit weird because it lets you study the language after 10 hours of your recent study.
This is great fun for learning
Fun Way To Learn A Language! 5/5
By Language Pro To Be
My memory has always failed me in learning a new language but this seems different. The activities are fun and engaging and I CAN commit to 5 minutes a day!
So here’s the deal, if you want to learn words, and words only, this is a GREAT tool! If you want to learn how to conjugate and speak full on sentences, this isn’t really going to help you with that.
This is my take on it though. When we were all little ones, we learned one word at a time. That grew our vocabulary and then people we spoke to would help us with the proper use of those words and how to put together sentences. Right? That’s essentially what this app does for you. It makes it into a fun way to learn how to pronounce and associate words with pictures and spoken answers.
I opted for the sweet deal they were offering for the polyglot lifetime premium plan because I want to learn more than one language in the future as I travel around the world. I, personally, won’t do more than 10 minutes within a 2 hour period because I want to retain as much information. I’m not a good “Crammer” when it comes to studying. So the free version is fine if you don’t mind learning new words and practicing old ones, once a day.
I had a bit of an issue when they decided to recreate the app and I had to get rid of my old one. My purchase wasn’t restoring and I thought I was going to be out money. It took less than 24 hours for customer service to respond and they were very friendly. It took 48 hours for me to be back up and running with the plan I had purchased. SAVE YOUR APPLE PURCHASE RECEIPTS. It’s all I needed to show them to be restored.
The only reason it’s not getting 5 stars is because I did *assume* it was going to teach me full conversations. I’m honestly not sure if they’ve updated their app preview page, but there was a lack of information stating it was an app to learn only words when I downloaded it.
I’ve almost made my way through foods and I feel as though I’m genuinely learning. Which makes this exciting and not so overwhelming that I want to give up. Even though I’m not learning how to converse, some of the other apps I’ve used (Duolingo, Rosetta Stone, and babbel), have made it too difficult (for me) to feel successful in learning. I would like to finish everything Drops has provided for me and go back to Duolingo (my 2nd favorite language app) to learn how to put all those words I’ve learned into a sentence.
Need access to completed topics 3/5
By Lakin H.
Great app, but I would love to be able to go back into completed topics for additional practice. I can’t go through other topics because I still need to work on “completed topics,” but I am now locked out of them.
Great for building a foundation 5/5
Drops is great because learning words and small phrases makes grammar and other, more difficult aspects of language acquisition easier. Knowing words helps with understanding context and can ease the process of learning sentence structure and more since you don’t have to learn what the words mean at the same time. Highly recommend as a starting point if you’re interested in learning another language!
Does not work! 1/5
I was bamboozled into purchasing the premium year subscription for$69.99. With this subscription it states you can immediately unlock content, however that is not the case. How do I cancel or get this fixed! Also I can’t do the Family Sharing as stated. I downloaded this for my son on my phone, with the expectation of sharing so he could practice on his Mac, and that too doesn’t work!! Please help!
This is actually very enjoyable I’m hoping I can learn some new things before my trip but we shall see
Great app 5/5
I love the format of how they teach.
