I like that you can find everything on here although everytime I have had problems with not liking a product or product doesn’t work or in one case didn’t show up and showed delivered I never received product and was out around 400$ the sellers make things difficult for you to return things and eBay doesn’t help because when something shows delivered they say oh well tracking number says it was delivered doesn’t always mean it was delivered to my house and they wanted me to file a police report for what something not showing up come on that rediculus. I used to shop on eBay all the time but have found myself going to Amazon because it’s so much easier to return things and they back everything and look out for people spending money on their site. I haven’t been to happy with eBay for the last year or so I have only made a few purchases because of issues I have had and if continues I will no longer shop on here. Amazon has same deal and no problems with returns they make everything easy. We will see how much longer eBay will stay in business because of them making things difficult and not backing customers. Y’all need to specify where you don’t ship to because it is a waste of time looking for something you like and placing an order just to find out the item you want don’t ship to your state!! Alaska is part of the USA!!! Also, if you don’t have something in stock please unlist your item!

I’ve used the eBay app for years on iPhones. I now own an iPhone 11 Pro and 90% of the time the app opens and I get a spinning circle and that’s all. I’ve uninstalled. I’ve signed out and back in. Same thing every time. I’ve missed bids because of it. Support or help in the app is nonexistent.

I filed a return item because the seller don’t ship it yet for 2 days of buying it..He/she was responsive every question I asked before I buy it..but when I bought it..no reply at all after 2 days that’s is why I filed a return..now I need to wait the refund because the seller need to response to it.
Why would I need to wait if the item is not even ship???? Ebay should be aware of it…it’s ridiculous.
Worst customer service ever. They say your talking to an agent but they aren’t ever helpful.

I just wanted to check something really wuick and they wouldn't let me even OPEN the app until I upgraded it. Thanks eBay, in the time it took me to perform this ridiculous FORCED upgrade, I missed out on an item I really wanted that I had planned to snipe. I will just use eSnipe from now on since the app is UNRELIABLE with these ridiculous forced upgrades. That mean NOTHING to the end users, of course.
Edit 10/19/22: STILL being forced to upgrade app beforeI can use it. LET ME upgrade when it is convenient!

When I hit the back button after looking at something in my cart, take me back to my cart.
When I delete or move something in my cart and the cart refreshes, stop kicking me back to the top of my cart.
Both of these are things other apps have been capable of doing for many years now. The fact that eBay’s app can’t is obnoxious and shows how dated it is.

Ebay lets buyers do whatever while sellers lose 1/5
I have 100% rating and had a buyer request a refund 27 days after it was delivered. He used the boots and now wants a full refund. Ebay forced me to accept bc of the way he worded everything. Ive also bought on ebay and have been pretty flexible with other sellers so i see both sides. The customer service is the worst. The reps never tell u anything helpful. Ive been a member since 2007 and i will never do business with ebay again.

Holds funds on new sellers? 1/5
I’m a new seller and I made my first sale! Yay! Right? Well, no. Turns out, for no other reason than I am a new seller, my funds are on hold for 14 days. Oh, I’m still expected to ship the item, of course, despite the funds to ship also being on hold. So I decided to just cancel the order and do a refund. Not worth it. Turns out, I’d have to do the refund out of my own pocket… and just wait on my funds to be released. I’m just going to ship the item and wait for the funds; it doesn’t seem like I have a choice. But I canceled all the remaining listings I had on there and once this transaction is complete, I’m canceling the account all together. No thanks. Terrible experience.

eBay is very behind on getting this app to work with IOS 15. I have a iPhone 13 and a 13 Pro and the app will not function properly any more, even after I deleted the app off both phones and re installed it. Whenever I go to my notifications page to look at an offer I received once I click on that offer to view it, underneath where I can except and decline I can usually click on the image of the listing and it will take me to the listing itself and it no longer does that which is extremely irritating. Of coarse Apple says it not a problem of theirs and that it’s eBay’s fault. Let’s get this fixed!!!!

I wish I could set purchases as my home page in the app.
I wish I could have multiple carts.
I wish the little blurb “a seller you bought from” found on item pages was a link that could show me a list of the items I bought from them.
I wish I could make notes about each seller I save, and see those notes when I am deciding who to buy something from while I am in a regular keyword search (so I can favor even-faster-than-stated fast shippers or really good packers, or whatever sentiment I wrote.

Why I shop at EBay 5/5
EBay has an abundance of vendors that allows me to purchase an assortment of items. They are always there to help with vendors that are not serving their customer with the upmost honesty and respect. They will solve problems that are in need of their assistance and may resolve the issue instantly depending on the gravity of the issue. Overall they truly love and respect their customers in my opinion.
Update App is causing EBay/vendors to loose money! 1/5
I do not want to update my IOS, therefore I can’t purchase anything from EBay, just who thought that was a good idea? Also, even if I wanted to update, I do not have WiFi at home, (as I’m sure many others don’t also). I have family & friends that I use when needed, only time I use eBay is late night, I’m not going out in the middle of the night just to update an App. I thought eBay would realize this was a problem & correct it, however every time I try to use eBay I’m told to update. What’s wrong with letting those that don’t want to update just use it as they always have? Hopefully when vendors realize their sales are down, they will complain & this will be corrected. Also, I’ve read & heard too many complaints with the update, why risk updating?

When you check the bid history ,it shows the bidders , but you can not see the percentage of bidding , of a specific buyer with this seller.It would be nice if it showed everything like when I look from a desktop computer. I would like to see this so if there is suspected bid shilling I would be able to detect it better. Otherwise, everything about the app is working very well. Great job.

Easy to use app but for some reason lately I can’t buy on the app. It’s like a one in fifteen chance it’ll work. I try Apple Pay, PayPal, debit card and credit card nothing works. Please fix this issue!!
