NOT FREE 1/5

Pass on this one. There’s plenty out there that are free! If they’d be honest perhaps people may be interested.
Great mind exercise 5/5
I enjoI enjoy it
Outstanding app 5/5
Wasn’t expecting much of this app but now I recommend it to anyone who’ll listen.
Fun and challenging 5/5
Games not only test your critical and cognitive skills they provide instruction and training materials to help you improve. The games are fun and help improve many different skills. With increased usuage you will find your writing, reading, mathematical, speaking and listening skills improving. I have noticed a difference at work and home. Although some of the games are the same the content changes and difficult increases. This keeps the games challenging and exciting. I enjoy this so much more than lumocity.
Good alternative to playing candy crush.
Simple and elegant 5/5
I’ve been playing for 1 week, and I am really enjoying the game. It’s gotten me off face book, and it’s keeping me sharp.
I used to love Elevate and doing the daily games, it felt like I was actually getting better. The longer I used it, the quicker this wore out. At the beginning, the games were easy to understand. As time went on, the difficulty went up (which made sense). Unfortunately, it does not give you all the tools to help you succeed when you’re difficulty keeps rising - you just have to start guessing. It doesn’t give me run down of the things I’m going to see to help me prepare in advance. The studying isn’t much help either; I tried looking at solving large multiplication problems and it made no sense to me, there was very little explanation on how I break down the problem, so I didn’t know how to break down problems. The longer you play the games, the more pressure is on you to keep up your high score - while also mastering content you may not fully understand. Overall, the app has its heart in the right place, but I feel like it’s impossible to get anywhere with it.
Most advanced brain training app! 5/5
I love this app!! Have been on and off it...it jogs my brain like no other
Use your time wisely 5/5
By Dubble OGe
You are on your phone anyway. Do something to sharpen your skills. This is a great app for that!!
next time don’t charge my card for a yearly purchase without my knowledge
No one can write under 5 stars 5/5
This app is truly amazing. My grades improved 1 week after download.
Well Done 5/5
By cancer fighter
The exercises run the gamut and clearly motivate the user to stretch and really challenge one to think. Very helpful for me with Parkinson’s given the need to exercise and stimulate brain function.
Poor feedback 3/5
I purposely tanked an entire session. 5 low scores and the game gave me a good job. Participation awards are for leftist sissy’s. I will not renew.
Very helpful 5/5
This app is helping me to develop my skills. You know all that stuff we worked so hard to learn in school. I’m very glad I found it.
User friendly 5/5
Yet is still challenging
Elevate rocks! 5/5
By Lt. Col Ricky Mandado
Love Elevate! Playing really stimulates the mind! This game really does improve your thinking capability!
Have to give personal information! 1/5
It will NOT allow you to play unless you give email address or other personal information!
You can NOT play as a guest like most other apps!
I deleted it immediately!
NOT giving my email address or Facebook account information!
Memory improvement tool 5/5
I love this and see its benefits from in improving my writing!
All games 4/5
Instructions could be improved by being more explicit.
Awesome app! 5/5
I’ve tried a bunch of apps to help improve brain function, but this one blows the rest away.
I love it 5/5
But it would me more helpful if i can re check my history of failures to learn from them . Games are very fast and i forget what was the right answer for my wrong choice
Perfect game 5/5
Should be free or longer but great game
Well, I fell for it. 1/5
You set up your account and only then do they tell you it is not a free app. It may be free to download, but once you register, you are told that after 7 days you will be charged $39.99 every year. I do not appreciate waisting my time.
iPad mini 4 crashing 1/5
I’m using the iPad mini 4 with iOS 13.7 and it won’t even let me sign in. Every time I click “continue” after entering my password to sign in, it crashes. **I signed up on my iPhone** I want my money back.
What I needed. 5/5
We all crave knowledge in some way or form. I’ve personally been lacking in that sense for a while now due to my own personal reasons. The fact that I essentially now have a mobile classroom in my pocket to utilize once a day really ELEVATES me ;)
Highly recommend this app if you’re a fan of brain training.
Wonderful Exercise for the Mind 5/5
This is a great way to exercise your mind and continue to maintain and build skill.
Confusing and distracting UI 3/5
Acing the challenges in this app seem to be more about how fast you can type on the very small iOS keyboard and how good your vision is rather than how accurately you can resolve problems. In some sections, the design of the UI aggravates the difficulty of using a small screen for input. The app does not need so much visual noise, unless part of the challenge is to tune out distraction like moving elements and low contrast boundaries.
To an extent 3/5
Works to an extent. When I went back to my training exercises the next day. They were not were I had reached goal wise the previous day.
E.g. i got up to 280WPM with reading. The next day it dumbed it all the way down to 220.
I had kept wondering why everytime I did my exercises they were dumbed down and my score is lower then the previous days.
I am no longer using this app for this reason. It’s clearly broken in some pretty crucial areas.
So much fun & BEST UI I’ve EVER seen! 5/5
These games are really fun with keeping your brain working and I wish I could play it all day!
Gamified learning 5/5
Love this app, especially for older folks like me to keep our skills sharp. One small request-at the end of each game, the app shows that this was your 43rd highest score but it doesn’t tell you out of how many games played. Is it 43rd out of 48 or 43rd out of 390? There is a graphic, but knowing the actual number or percentage would be much more helpful.
Mind games 5/5

Love this app very challenging and helps to keep from being bored. Learning is the key to living longer.
Helpful Lessons 5/5
I love this app. I thought I was good at reading. Then I found this app. There are so many more skills you can improve on. I didn’t even know that I had a problem with “subvocalizing.” There are also lessons for math. It also tells you what you are improving on when you do a lesson. It only allows you 3 free lessons per day, but there is also a Study section that is almost entirely free. I would recommend this app to ANYONE.
Don’t bother it cost a ton of money for stuff you can learn for free
Don’t want math 3/5
I’ve only had this App for a week and I’m liking it but I don’t want to do math. I can’t figure out how to eliminate it
Just Not GOOD 1/5
So I downloaded the free 7 day trail and didn’t like it. So I canceled it with in 2 days. Then get an email saying sorry to see you leave. A week later they billed me for a year at the highest rate. No recourse just lost out $35.
Best game 5/5
I love this game and how it’s helped me better my English and math. Fun to play and challenging
That his is a really cool game but shouldn’t have to buy things.
So far so good😀
An entree is not the main course of a meal. 4/5
Is there a reporting feature on this app? The reason I ask is because some of these answers are incorrect. For example, in the expression session, it used the word “Entree” in the context of it being the main course of a meal - which it is not. An “Entree” is not a main course, in fact it’s a small meal, more like an appetizer. Please review answers.

This app has really assisted in my writing.
Cool idea, implementation needs work 3/5
I was very excited about this app since I'd been looking for something like this. It's a little crashy still and the game duration doesn't seem sufficient to truly increase skill, but I hope they keep working on it.
Super fun game that makes me feel smart!
By mary allene
These games are challenging and fun. They make them more difficult or easier depending on how you do.
By WashU '15
I tried to download and use the app, but I couldn’t even start the first game - kept getting a Download Error. Trying uninstalling and reinstalling, but same error. Don’t know what to do, would have liked to have used the app!
Good focus 2/5
It keeps pushing me, and it makes me annoyed
I Normally Cancel Free Trials but I’m sold on Elevate 4/5
Currently studying for the Bar Exam and Elevate gives me great mental breaks and beneficial cognitive training that will certainly help me improve speech, writing, accurate use of punctuation and phrases, and much more! Attorneys may find this app useful in changing the wordy way we speak! Concise plain language training for Lawyers and maybe also a bit of math training since we all know we chose the study of law over anything else that involves math - our weakness. 😂 Elevate is a great investment for self-improvement. Become a better version of yourself, who’s going to say no to that? (Please don’t let my poor written skills in this review reflect Elevate for I have only just begun training 😉)
Great App 5/5
By Retired Idaho Educator
Elevate really does make you think and use your mind. There’s a monthly cost, but well worth it!
I like this app a lot, the only problem is me and consistently taking the time to train each day imo.
