Does what it says it will 3/5
Which is not much
Waste of time 1/5
This app does not work. Doesn’t even connect to a printer.
scanning for ipad 5/5
Needed to get some documents scanned onto my iPad so that I could fax them into the "past" HIPAA does not use PDF and email yet in 2018 and xfinity VOIP will not fax.
The app has a simple interface and worked the first time! Thanks for saving me future headaches.
Used to work 1/5
Now it won’t find my Artisan 835 printer. It was a great app but now it’s useless.
Will never buy another Epson product!!! 1/5
Firmware update ruined the printer which was working before the update.
After the update it wouldn't recognize any of the ink and now it will not print over wifi.
Epson thinks it's going to make more money by forcing customers to use their over-priced ink by disabling third-party or remanufactured ink.
Sorry Epson, you will make NO MORE money from me.
Great App 4/5
By chicago strve
Works great. Easy to setup easy to use
Works Perfectly 5/5
Sent up in about 2 minutes. Turned on my XP 340, checked that it was online and the app instantly connected my iPad with the printer. Couldn’t have been easier
Desde la última actualización no puedo scannear documento. Anterior a esta actualización era perfecta.
Do not update firmware if you are using third party ink cartridge 1/5
Do not update firmware if you are using third party ink cartridge!
App can’t find my Epson printer 1/5
By Nurse person
Frustrated the app can’t make my “all in one printer” scan because it doesn’t recognize my correct IP address.
App Epson 3/5
Is better if we can see a preview of what we’ll print.
Good voiceover accessibility 4/5
By Lucky 10382
I just found this app recently and I love the voiceover accessibility. We have been having problems with the XP 410 printer having horizontal banding, and I love that I was able to go into the troubleshoot section and have the nozzle check and clean the heads. Before I found this app, I could do nothing with it since it is all with lcd and I can see none of it. I may increase the stars on this review depending on what I hear from Epson support regarding the WiFi direct printing that I cannot figure out.
no multi-page scanning 3/5
I use my Epson printer a fair amount to scan documents to Dropbox. It does this well but each page is saved to a separate file. I’ve asked the developer about this and they say you can scan multiple docs to a single file from a PC but not from an iPad. I am one person (out of a large number, I assume) that don’t even have a PC, anymore. I have to use the PC of someone else to combine my files and then you need Adobe Acrobat, not just Reader. I’d like to see this changed.
You ruined the app with your update. I cannot print off of a web page and that was my number 1 priority with this app. Why take an option away when updating an app? It’s supposed to make it better not worse
Infuriating Paper Options 1/5
Attempting to print on plain paper from from a camera roll requires me to individually approve the print instead of allowing me to choose a plain copy paper in the first place.
Very limited app 1/5
Extremely limited features. No option to scan multiple page documents into one file. No way to rotate scanned pages. Tried to email support and email would not go through, kept giving me error messages . Called tech support. (No toll free number for tech support) while tech support person was very pleasant, it was a totally useless experience. EPSON - please update and improve this app!
Not too clunky 4/5
By Paper trumpet
Based on other reviews I was expecting a clunky, outdated, old-style tech interface with several manual connection requirements. While the UI isn’t the “coolest”, the app found my Epson Artisan 835 without any problem. I test printed an article from a cloud account. It listed cloud account apps, allowed me to sign on with an option to remember the credentials, and printed exactly what I wanted. I’ll take non-fancy UI that works over pretty UIs with problems any day!
A Big Fix is Needed! 1/5
This app used to work well but the latest updates are absolutely horrible. They have rendered the app unusable. I can no longer effectively print what I need. ...it will print ‘something’ as in whatever it wants to grab but not a simple, easy page by page print. Absolutely useless.
Missing the boat ..but hopeful for change 3/5
Ok, why does this app it not have a choice to change from portrait to landscape printing? Seems to me this would me an easy option to program.
Won’t download 1/5
By Dean centioli
Won’t download from the App Store, checked reviews to see if anyone else had the same problem. Looks like the overall opinion is it isn’t worth it at all. This app needs some support. This looks terrible for such a big company. Very disappointed.
Add Print in Reverse Order 1/5

Crap app 1/5
Doesn’t include wireless use of es-400. Just bought last week and it wasn’t a cheap one. Also the layout of the app is crappy and not user friendly.
Can never do what you want 1/5
By Kbf pass holder
Very limited options so frequently end up frustrated because can do what you need to do.
Not good with Excel documents and poor quality on everything else. 2/5
Not good with Excel documents and poor quality on everything else. I tried to print from my iPhone an excel document and the quality was horrible, I didn’t even get the option to rotate and when I print other type of documents the quality lower than when printing from my PC. I love my new Epson ET-16500 but this app is not very good, I think Epson should just let us use AirPrint directly from the mobile devices.
Needs more photo options... 3/5
Glad to be able to use this for air printing 4-up photos to my Epson printer on 8.5x11 paper, but the app needs a few usability improvements:
-bulk select multiple photos at once to add to “queue” from the photo select screen (not just swipe and select)
-print preview/layout preview when hitting print and confirmation box (“ready to print?”)
-ability to resize photos to a standard shape for layout (e.g. change all photos to square or round when selecting 4-up on an 8.5x11 paper, or, 4-up passport photo resize for print)
-more photo layout options (See app PhotoPrint LT for the idea of what I’m talking about), e.g. montage/collage, randomized, etc...
Virtually impossible to match app settings to what the printer thinks the setting should be. The printer should behave like a printer; print what the Hell I tell it to print period!
I should NOT have to fool around trying to match the app with the printer and all these setting EVERY TIME I want to F'g print something
What happened 1/5
Can no longer print from any WiFi device, after rebooting modem and also reconnecting printer to WiFi. Help
Frustrating lack of control 1/5
I love my Epson L486 printer, but this app is a poor interface between my iPhone and the printer. It offers way too little control over page size, paper type options, and print quality options for each given paper size. For example, what if I want to print a 4x6 (10x15cm) using standard or high quality matt paper. Not possible with this app! Only photo premium glossy paper is available at this print size, but this puts out too much ink on standard or high quality matt paper, making the print too dark. Same issue with other print sizes- quite unbelievable. If I try to work around this problem by choosing A4 or Letter size paper, all print quality and paper type options are available. However there is no way to accurately reduce the scale of the print within the A4 or letter size page. The size reduction must be estimated, requiring several prints to get the size right.
There is no reason for this lack of control. Hopefully Epson will improve the app soon, otherwise it is not very useful.
Media Type 1/5
When selecting media types for printing photos they don’t even give you the option of printing it on paper. Inconvenience that makes this app worthless.
Could be a good App if... 3/5
1. It had more Print options to choose from (Like HP Remote App). Paper size, orientation, layouts, etc......
2. I could print PDF’s/Docs directly from iBooks, Apple Notes, misc. apps, etc. (have to send to file manager, another app... And this doesn’t always work either - these are the places I mainly print from.)
3. It allowed you to add your own Storage,Apps, ie., iCloud Storage, Apple File Manager, One Note....
Having a hard time because I’ve been unable to get the common Apple Print or Air Print options to work with my new Epson XP960. I keep getting Printer Offline message when it is on & has an excellent Network connection. This is not this App’s problem though. I love how my new printer prints after having an HP forever! But getting anything other than photos printed is very convoluted or is it just me?
Thank you! 5/5
This app really saved my bacon when I was having technical difficulties and needed to find a work-around. Worked great for me. Thanks again
Eternal Loading 1/5
Waiting to click print and I get... loading loading loading loading loading. The forever loading symbol that Ive only ever gotten to work and actually print anything..... ONCE!
Just wow! Super easy setup, scanned to my iPad Pro flawlessly, saved in files and emailed from the app...
Never prints only selected pages 1/5
Will this app ever improve. If you want to print everything all the time, great. If you want select pages forget it - even if you select pages it prints them all and has been doing this forever. Really guys?
Not able to print a PDF from an iPhone 6 1/5
By Steady as it goes
I tried to print a basic PDF document and it will printed one page (of 12) and then you get an error message on the phone.
I tried to just print a 1 page PDF....same result. Yikes since it’s a $300 printer!
By Fleur de Nez
Doesn’t allow you to do basic things like fax or even do multi page scanning. How can this be so hard in 2018?
No printer found! 1/5
Doesn’t work. The app does not find the printer. Manual configuration with ip finds the printer, but Creative adding doesn’t work then. Please fix it. Thanks
Great App 5/5

I live printing on my I phone.
So easy and quick!
Best App by Epson
No stars 1/5
By Micki 1
My last review I rated 1 Star although I made it clear it was 0 stars. I am on my 8th Epson printer and probably my last. I print photos (so many that I wear out the printer heads) well I cannot tell how much money I have wasted on ink & photo paper. I have black ink smears all over the photos. I clean the heads - I adjust the print head alignment - I have Epson ink Epson paper and BLACK SMEARS. I have been using an XP 620. My next move is Canon or HP not my choice but I cannot afford to stick with Epson
Surprisingly easy to use! 5/5
I was at my parents’ house and needed to print something off my iPhone... the printer was connected to the WiFi, I was connected to the WiFi but I still could not print and my phone wasn’t able to find the printer. I downloaded this app and was dreading all the setup I was going to have to do (create username and password etc) just to use the app but to my surprise none of that was required! I simply opened the app selected the printer (now visible) and selected the Dropbox document I needed to print. Connecting to Dropbox was as easily as clicking a few buttons to give permission and voila my document was printed. I was so blown away by the (once again) surprising ease of using this app that I came and wrote a review right away!
Simple interface and solid function. 5/5
I installed the app. It found the printer, set up up scan parameters, and emailed a PDF of the scan in minutes. No need for cloud services or registration.
Fancier interface would add a tiny bit of value.
I used the app again today to scan some business documents. It worked flawlessly. No muss, no fuss. It ain't fancy, but it works.
The app worked great till last update. Now my phone or my Apple computer can’t find the printer. It’s so irritating I have to find out how to fix it if I can’t figure out something soon I’ll have to get a new printer not epson. I can’t replace something an update caused with the same problems. If they would do a fix on it I will be happy
Good printer - HORRIBLE APP/SOFTWARE 1/5
I cannot begin to count the HOURS I spent trying to figure out various issues while using this app!!! It does not work worth a sh-t while using a IOS mobile device and if it does, you’re just lucky...Try again and it won’t work. There are some 3rd party apps that work MUCH better. I have an Epson Artisan 837. Nothing “artisan” about the app!!!
It’s Great But... 3/5
In korea, HWP files is standard in every Document even Government or Office too.
Plz Should Be a hwp!
Can’t specify print size 3/5
I have to print from my Mac because iPrint will not let me specify how big the photo should be. Example: for a picture frame, I need a print 7.75 x 9.75 to fit in the matte. Can’t do it. Otherwise, a decent app.
Not functioning 1/5
No longer prints screen print shots. Says it will now only do it from Safari, but even in Safari it fails.
It will print emails but enlarges the font. All in all, pretty much makes my Epson printer useless with iPad and iPhone.
Useless !! 1/5
I can only print from the App, I can’t print from my notes App
Good app, reliable but could be a lot better. 4/5
By Juan Guapo
I have to give Epson a lot of credit: their printers are next to perfect, or as close to it is you’re probably going to get. This app, utilitarian as it may appear, really does work, and it works well. I use it with an eco-tank series at home, and it is really nice to be able to send print jobs to my home printer while I am out; it sounds gimmicky but I use it several times a week, it’s one less thing I need to remember when doing print-intensive jobs.
The iPrint app is function-over-form, not fancy but very simple and reliable. It’s handy in a pinch when you need to print an email or its attachment.
Don't waste your time 2/5
This app can not configure printer settings to save its life. No matter which setting or format I use it always clips the document I want to print. I've tried resizing , changing borders and adjusting the fitment and I still get only 80-90% of the picture printed. So glad this is a free app because I would upset had I paid for this. I guess I'll just have to go back to emailing myself the photos and printing from the computer
It’s good except missing some functions.. 3/5
When printing borderless with my PM-400 from the Epson iPrint app, there are no option to select the expansion as minimum/normal/maximum which I can when selecting photos to print on the printer. On the other hand, I’m unable to choose to print 3R size when I select the photo from sd card on the printer. Therefore, I wish the iOS app has an option to choose the expansion level..
