    I’ve banked at 5/3 for years and we began using their online banking and the app years ago as soon as they were available. I can honestly say it is the easiest, most user intuitive banking app I’ve seen. I have to use a different one for a work account and it’s very clunky and awkward compared to this. I help my mom with her online banking and her bank’s app is also less user friendly than this one. This is one of the few apps of ANY kind that I use regularly - every day- where every update has actually improved usability and made things like instant transfer between accounts easy and fast. Try 5/3 and use this app- I think you would be glad you did.

    Their app is usually down for maintenance at the time I need it most. This is extremely frustrating. Since I work evenings/nights, this is the only time I can most conveniently get online to do my banking. Hoping Fifth Third can come up with a solution to this in order to accommodate its many customers who work around the clock. Any improvement to their customers’ ability to access their accounts at “non-bankers” hours would be appreciated beyond belief!

    I opened my checking account with 5th 3rd when I moved back to Circleville on Oct. 11th, 2019 and have been happy with them since. When I have any problems at all, they have been very helpful, considerate and solved the problem. I see no reason that I should or would ever want to change banks. Keep up the great job!     App is somewhat “klunky”. Doesn’t flow logically. For example, after making a deposit why doesn’t something similar to a “deposit slip” appear to confirm the transaction. I have double paid bills because NOTHING appears to confirm the transaction!!!

    The app is “currently unavailable for scheduled maintenance” multiple times per week. Granted, it is always at late hours, but not everyone works 9–5. If this app is meant to be more than a mere novelty, this is absolutely unacceptable. The gold standard of uptime is plain old telephone service, which is as high as five 9’s; that is, working 99.999% of the time. Fifth Third Mobile Banking doesn’t even provide two 9’s. Maybe that would be okay for an online game or something, but not for a bank. Consider also that the app purports to allow you to access an ATM without your debit card. But if you roll up to an ATM without your card, and the app is down—oops!

    I’ve got some cognitive issues because of a disability I have and don’t recall knowing about the settings to notify you about bill pay or low balance. Recently I had an unexpected large bill that really threw me off and got hit with over 100.00$ in overdraft fees before I noticed it. Now I’ll get a text message when I have a low balance. I’m very happy to have this security now.

    I love 5/3 bank - I am a preferred customer and the people in the branch are outstanding. However the App - I just checked my credit card transactions (on 23 November) - the app says no transactions since 16 November. That’s today - yesterday, it showed there were some transactions. And yes I did use my card between the 16th and 23rd!! What good is a bank app, when the information you get is wrong ?? I like to check how much money my wife and I have spent, so I know how much is left in our budget before I go grocery shopping. This app is utterly useless if the information it gives is inaccurate.

    Edit: Need to add a "lock" or "pause" option to debit and credit cards. My PayPal, Stash, and Capital One cards all have this feature. Love the cardless atm feature! I came to 5/3 bank after having a lot of fraud issues with my previous bank. I was beyond thrilled when I used their atm for the first time and learned about the cardless option.

    I’ve redownloaded it, updated phone , and done several attempts to trouble shoot this app. It just doesn’t work. I have to login on my web browser to view my account information . Very disappointed .

    I use this app to pay my auto loan. My first issue, there is no where obvious to see my loan’s payment due date. I have to go through several screens/steps to be able to view the due date. My second issue, once i submit a payment there is absolutely no confirmation that the payment went though. I don’t get a message on the screen saying “thank you for your payment” or “payment successful”, no confirmation email, no text, and nothing showing a pending payment transaction. So i basically have to wait 2 business days and check the balance to see if the payment went through. My third issue, there is nowhere to view any loan documents. I would like to be able to see me interest rate, remaining payments, total amount paid etc. There is a loan documents tab but when i click it nothing comes up. These are all basic things that all of my other loan apps have, and the payment process is very annoying having to hope the payment went through, someone really needs to look into this…

    I’ve been with 5/3 for over 15 years now, and the first few were HORRIBLE for online banking. The new mobile banking app makes things much easier. It still needs improvement — not understanding how it tried to correct a $1736 check to $8011 on a mobile deposit — but it’s still much better than before.

    Easy to use app with anything you need at your fingers. I have multiple accounts and the dashboard view when you enter gives you a nice single view. Also love the real-time notifications when a Zelle deposit is made, or a payment is added to my credit card. Overall great experience!

    Been with same branch since 1993. Continud to be with Fifth Third Bank to this day. The APP for 5/3 banking is easy to use. Delivers information that I need. I do not use any other bank nor APP for my personal banking needs. John K

    I wish I knew before opening account that 5/3 is a serious follower in the online banking space. They basically wait for Chase bank and other major players to roll out online programs and then follow suit in a year or 2. Monthly deposit limits make a trip to the bank necessary and it’s usually more than a few trips a month for smaller checks coming in at end of month. Pain in the …. Go with a bigger player in industry if you online bank.

    I take fault for part of this for making a transfer in a hurry, however, I firmly believe poor UI/UX cost me money. While trying to set up a transfer it wasn't super clear to me what account money was going to and from. I mistakenly pulled money from an account at my other bank to 5/3 which resulted in a fee due to overdrawn funds. Your navigation within the transfer tab needs to be way more clear. The font size is too small, should not be like 50% gray (does it even follow accessibility standards?), and I imagine many people don't naturally go in order of "from" and "to" but instead assume it's going "to" and "from" an account. Please reevaluate. Every time I make a transfer I have to double check my work because the process just doesn't make logical sense to me compared to other bank apps.
