    Ease of use when the website isn’t overwhelmed with users…wish they would stop updating app with new features and not sending a “User Manual” to operate!! But I do have to admit, my facial recognition feature with my IPhone is absolutely “AWESOME”!! Keep up the good work, peace out…!!

    This app is terrible. 5/3 goes out of their way to make you go into a physical branch. Every time there is an issue the response is ‘just go into a branch’ like that is a good solution. You also can’t deposit over $2k with the app? This is the only bank I know of that has this limitation. They have a LONG way to go and customer service is clearly not their top priority.

    The new update is great. I love the new look and it’s easy to use. However, I miss Face ID. (I was having trouble with it before, but had hoped it would be fixed with the new update.) I get an error every time I try to activate it, saying it’s temporarily unavailable. Please fix this. I would’ve given five stars if it wasn’t for the Face ID issue.

    I’m not seeing all of my transactions that have posted to my credit card account. Do I care? Yes and no. Money is the root of all evil it says n the Bible, but, I’d like to at least have a up to date bal. all of the time. I must be a money addict.

    I have been with this bank since April of 2019/2020 and since then I have had so many issues from the website features constantly being down, unable to connect non 53rd accounts, miscommunication with the employees, etc. It is just an absolute mess with this bank. If my son didn’t have a joint savings account I would close this crap in a heartbeat. Ericka Burton

    My loan got transferred to 5/3 unfortunately. They are apparently 3000 years behind in technology. There is no way to set up automatic payments on their website so I have to tell Chase (a real bank) to send a paper check to them every month. I called customer service because I couldn’t create an online login and they said they had to create a fake card number for me to login. They must have the worst tech people in the entire solar system building their app and website.

    While I love the goal settings within savings, outside of the the new app is a miss for me. I cannot easily transfer money within the app. Often time different accounts just go blank and I can't move money unless I log out and back in. Bummer.

    Freezes often, the “ask us” feature constantly being there is annoying and covers half of the quick actions so it’s a stupid layout for the Home Screen. Often when I tap Quick Transfer only one of my accounts can be selected so I have to close out the app and reopen. Also Zelle transfers keep failing with no information as to why or how to fix it.

    Years are passing by and my relationship with Fifth Third has been a strong bond between friends. Who has a relationship with a banking institution that their family and friends are envious of? I do. I have no treasures stored there, but they must not know that. I couldn’t be treated any better if I were royalty. Choosing a banking institution for a flow-through is not a big deal. There are banks on every corner. If you enter into a commitment with one and you don’t like it, just close it out and go to another. Searching for a better banking institution is serious and personal to the person. It’s not either of those to the institution itself. However, you could be blessed, as was I, to be a partner with a networking group trained in public service. My pittance of money would not draw solicitation for a business relationship. It would not constitute any depth in loyalty or perseverance. Nor should any bank look upon it as such. Having established the fundamental core, the appreciation for the existence thereof is more profound. This bank or these banks retain and deepen my commitment to them through “service.” The degree of respect, the eagerness to help and the “Above & Beyond” attitude trained into its employees is the “night-and-day” difference. Whomever heads that department needs a raise and a new title. Never in my 73 years of being in the world, have I ever experienced such consistency in training for service. I simply cannot say or give more praise than this. It’s not about the bank or the proposal of service, it’s about the people who represent and serve both sides.

    My push notifications do not work. I have it set to alert me every time a debit is made on my card but they are not working. And even though I have the facial recognition enabled, it tells me there’s been changes detected on my device and I have to enter my password every time I log in.

    Quick transfer with Ed between all my accounts - now it doesn’t. I have found a way to make payments but no where as easy as before Also the “ask us” function is useless as it takes too long to get done body - tried twice and got a connection long after I had run out of time and moved on.

    Suggestion: in the past I thought you had a feature that allowed you to search for a payment by putting in a price range. Oddly, I’ve wanted to use that now and then but can no longer find that feature. That said, I’m happy with the app. Just deposited a check while enjoying happy hour! :-) Thanks mobile app team!!!!

    Access to you bank account is a lot like toilet paper - when you need it, you need it now. And like toilet paper the fifth third banking app causes hemorrhoids and often requires three or more attempts to get it to meet a minimum standard of functionality. For whatever reason, at least once per week, the app goes down due to “technical difficulties” and doesn’t allow you to view your account(s). This is not acceptable. Furthermore, the banking app seems to have the level of fortitude as the lining of a Tijuana breast implant - due to the fact that it doesn’t allow special characters to be used in one’s password. Even an account with pornhub requires special characters. It is hoped that fifth third will consider addressing the disconnects between corporate shills and the customer service departments.

    Agree with others that the old app was better. There should be an option to turn off features that are not used. You constantly have to scroll down to see transactions. Every time I look at my savings I don’t need a full screen telling me I need to set a “Goal”.

    4/28/21 update: I REALLY hate this app! I can’t login because for some unknown reason. It asks if I want to verify through a text message or answer questions. I select the text message option, and it only lists my secondary phone number, which is my wife’s, and she is not available! Why isn’t it offering the PRIMARY (MY) number? So, I opt for the “questions”... it asks me two questions I know for a fact I have NEVER set up, as I wouldn’t know what “favorite ice cream flavor” I would ever specify - I don’t have a favorite! So, I get out and get back in, and now it says it has a problem with my stored user ID. This app is going to cost 53 Bank a customer as soon as my loan is paid off! 4/13/21 update: I am really disgusted with your app! It repeatedly says “Failed to connect to the server. Retry”. The app also needs to breakdown loan payment to principal and interest applied to the loan. Not doing so is insulting. Previous review: Why doesn’t the amount of interest charged show up on each payment summary? It just shows the payment amount any the balance.
