Could use more customization 4/5
I am someone who used to work out regularly when I was young, but have found myself relatively inactive (aside from work) in my 30s. This app has been very helpful in reversing that, and even my companion joins me some days! There are two things the app could do better:
1. Ability to customize available equipment. I use this app in our 2 room apartment, and our equipment is pretty limited. It would be really useful if you could signify which equipment you do or don’t have (like a step-box, a pull up bar, etc) so it can skip assigning exercises that you can’t do because you don’t have the right stuff.
2. Ability to filter workout list by time or other criteria. Some days, I want a good core workout that is less than 15 minutes. Sometimes, I want a longer workout that is full body. It would be nice to have a filter system instead of having to scroll through a list that has zero discernible organization logic to it.
Love it!! 4/5
I love this app! I like how motivating the trainers are when you are doing a workout and how they customize them to your level of fitness, but still push you to do better and achieve more! The only thing I would like to see added to the workouts is a warm up and cool down. That would make it about perfect for me. I also like how affordable the premium membership is, at only $8.00 vs a $20-$30 gym membership. Plus you can get a great workout from home!

Why does it take so much space!!! 2/5
This app eats up giant amount of storage space. Even when I am not using this app. This is criminal!!!! I wish they would do something about it. I have both Fitbit and the coach app installed. I do not understand why I need to have both. When I am not exercising why does the app need 500mbs of storage for data.
Need premium subscription 1/5
I have the Fitbit and was excited to try this app. However almost every single workout requires a premium subscription. I already paid for the Fitbit so more should be included. Many other apps that serve the same purpose. Deleting this.
Won’t pair with fitbit 1/5
It won’t pair with fitbit. Keeps giving a message of wrong password. Even after I reset the password.
Wish I could listen to other music 2/5
By Starfish 81
Would be great if I could stream other music than what is provided. I like doing the guided runs but not being able to hear my own playlist is a bummer.
Doesn’t open anymore 1/5
App doesn’t open anymore. The stars will change once it is fixed. I can not open the app it self but can sometimes access it through the Fitbit app.
Simply Trash 1/5

THE WORST APP EVER. ALWAYS CRASHES. DOES NOT UPDATE. DOES NOT KEEP TRACK OF COMPLETED WORKOUTS. COMPLETE WASTE OF $40. THE FITBIT BRAND HAS JUST BECOME SOME TRASH. STICK TO WHAT YOU WHAT YOU KNOW.
Update a FAIL! 1/5
By Blue striper
Won’t start after last update 3 days ago. Need to do a better job at testing updates - and fixing them quickly when they don’t work. Come on Fitbit. You’re better than this!!!
Anyone else having this problem? 2/5
When I go into the app it displays
“Failed to reach the consent service.
Please try again later.
And when I hit retry it displays the same message.
I even tried redownloading the app and it failed to fix the problem.

Very annoyed 1/5
The app worked fine up until 6 days ago when there was an update. I reported the problem to support and still nothing, only an email that says they know and they’re working on it. Very disappointed.
App won’t start 1/5
The app fails to start. It gives an error message ‘ Failed to reach consent service ‘.
I am a paid subscriber and I have not been able to use the app for two weeks now.
I have tried re installing but nothing works. Kindly rectify this ASAP.
Refuses Admittance 1/5
After trying numerous times in numerous ways including resetting password and confirming my Email/pw was correct with Fitbit app. My login fails, I give up Adios!
Well, I think it used to work... 1/5
I just recently paid for the coaching through the app. The app itself worked for maybe a week. Now, it won’t open and it says “failed to reach consent service, please try again later”. I’ve deleted the app from my phone twice now in hopes it would make it work, but still nothing. At this point, I’d like to just get my money back- such a waste.
Haven’t been able to open the past two days 3/5
I will start by saying positively that I enjoy using this app and I feel the workouts are effective and great for home. I was hoping to use the app yesterday and it isn’t working. I thought I’d try again today and still nothing. Is this a known issue? Just wondering when I can use it again cause I’ve been slacking this week. And normally I’d give five stars
Failed to reach the consent service. Please try again later 1/5
Used to work, now it doesn’t. I paid for membership so I’m going to get impatient soon. Don’t mean to sound ungrateful, the app has been great so far but some needs to look at this. I have the latest iOS update and app update. Help me out here.
Love this app! 5/5
I am a person who really needs outlined workouts to get me motivated and this does it! Feeling like I'm getting stronger and more fit. It's actually addicting (which isn't something I would normally say about routine & workouts lol!) my husband has said that I look the best I ever have! I’ve trimmed down in a short amount of time (2-months) using the lean program 4-days a week with doing cardio on my off days. Never had a problem.

Well the app no longer opens or does anything. Can y’all fix this?
Login issues 1/5
I’ve tried 4 times ... there is not a thing wrong with my password. I can long in on a browser but not in the app.

The app is really good but the premium option isn't available for everyone, I can't get premium- but there aren't a lot of non-premium workouts. I think it would be better if there was a "free" section were if you add premium workouts "sell" the old ones. Maybe make mini premium workouts were you get a few minutes of one? Again the app is good, but would be better with premium!
Won’t open 1/5
Keeps saying failed to reach consent please try again. 🤦🏼♀️
It’s good but... 2/5
The service provided by the App is good. It offers a decent arrange of coached workout sessions. Audio quality is good and it plays in the background when the phone is locked which is also very convenient. I personally use their stair master workouts and it’s really nice. There are a few things that turn me off about the app however. When going into a session it downloads first. That’s great except later on when you want to do that workout again it has to re-download. Why not implement a feature where you can download ahead of time and it stores the workout audio/video sessions on the phone much like what other apps do. Another thing is every workout session you go into starts in full screen even if it’s just audio. Why not give us the option to shrink it to use in vertical mode? One last thing it definitely needs is music service integration. Yes I know the app has its own music stations but they’re not that great to be honest, and what’s with the censorship of the cuss words in songs? Music integration is something it really needs. Would like to be able to add my music streaming service account. That way I can listen to the playlists that motivate me and aren’t censored! To sum it up, the app needs more work and I feel like it’s missing features that it should’ve had from the very beginning. I canceled my subscription for the time being. I’ll renew and update once I see progress in the features this app provides.
Why can’t we be friends? Fitbit + Apple Watch 4/5
Please integrate Fitbit with Apple Watch!!! I have the Charge HR and love it, except for three things: it’s not waterproof, there’s no sleep/airplane mode to protect my brain against Bluetooth at night and the band has broken three times now. I’m not replacing it at this point and though I’m no longer going to have a Fitbit tracker, I don’t want to leave the Fitbit world and frankly, shouldn’t have to! In a world where everything syncs with everything we should be able to have our beloved Fitbit app on an Apple Watch. Please make it happen!
Nearly perfect coach in your pocket 4/5
This is a wonderful app. The instructions, visuals and music make it the easiest, most straight-forward exercise coaching app I have used. It shows you exactly how to do each exercise correctly, and is as motivating as such an app could possibly be without a live teacher. It is perfect for people like me who work out at home and need more guidance to know how to vary what I do and push myself beyond what I think might be possible. It also allows you to pause or repeat specific exercises within a workout in case you need more recovery or want to do more reps, so each workout is customizable in that way as well.
The variety of exercises continues to increase too, as they recently added coaching using machines like treadmills as well as walks and runs. I hope they add exercises using kettlebells and medicine balls as well.
I also wish it would add a calendar feature so you could schedule exercises and I wish it would tell you overall how you might be improving based on the feedback you give it
Very frustrating 1/5
By Roxy Helen
You have to download a workout EVERY time you want to use it. There’s no way to get rid of the rests or tutorials or the “how was this” question in between each move. I ended up more annoyed when I finished then when I started! Definitely a waste of money as I only used twice before delet.
Too difficult if you’ve had two Fitbits 1/5
I haven’t been able to setup my account because I apparently had an account years ago with a different tracker. So I can’t log in and it tells me my email is already connected to another account. It doesn’t offer any help and contacting support is a pain. Very disappointing.
Stole money and doesn’t give you challenges 1/5
If possible I would have rated it 0 stars. The app seems pleasing at first. But nothing challenges you nor actually makes you feel like you are doing anything to start getting in shape. The idea of only paying $40 a year is pleasing to the eye and the wallet, but when you haven’t used it in months and they send you an email saying you are about to auto renew, and you go in and remove your bank card and they still charge you? I contacted Fitbit and they claim to have no subscription for me and to contact google play. Google play can not find it either and tell me to contact Fitbit. It’s a run around. Don’t do it. Not worth the money, not worth the aggravating pain you have to deal with when you didn’t select auto renewal and they apparently “do not have your subscription.” Had to contact my bank to dispute it since they stole from me. Love the Fitbit watches and the Fitbit app. No problem with them. Just their stupid Fitbit coach.
DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME 1/5
This thing is pure garbage. Every time I try to log in, it tells me I’m linked to an account already. NO DUH. I signed IN with that email. Completely useless. Thanks for nothing
Great app 5/5
Like App, Don’t Like Recent Update 2/5
Prior version had better more intuitive more features. Not seeing anything good in new release.
Money mu-mu-money 1/5
Don't get this app unless you plan on paying for premium. You can maybe do less than 5% of the workouts listed on the apps unless you pay for premium. This app is more like 'download for free and then pay to be able to do anything on it' and it's all about the money. There are much better fitness apps out there that aren't as selfish as this company is getting to be.
Too much premium 4/5
I love the free exercises! But I want to do stairs and practice running for an upcoming event, or even just walking. NOPE! The app is too overloaded with premium workouts.
Great but 1 thing missing... 3/5
I love this app but it’s missing lifting exercises. I see that it has body weight moves but I would love it if they added workouts for lifting with light or heavy weights. Please add!
No stretches? 4/5
The app is great so far! A lot of different exercises so you don’t get board doing the same old thing over and over. But so far I haven’t been able to find and stretches or yoga work outs. Is this something that could be added? Or maybe I’m just not seeing them? Other than that the app is great for motivation and tracking your progress along with the Fitbit app.
What happened to the music volume? 1/5
I wasn’t crazy about the redesigned app, but after the latest update today, the music volume is ridiculously low. If I turn the volume all the way up to hear the music, the trainer’s voice is too loud. Please fix!!
I LOVE the workouts but... 3/5
I started this app over a year ago and instantly signed up for premium so I could do one of the programs. I was consistent for about 6 months and was probably in the best shape I’ve been in since having my 3 kiddos. I love the moves - the mix of strength and cardio and I love being able to rate each movement so it would tailor each workout to your fitness level. I never felt like I reached a plateau because the app was constantly making the moves harder or having you go longer in each exercise. BUT now here I am about 6 months later after...well...slacking off! I decided to sign up again for premium membership, excited to start a program. The first workout I went to do had me starting at the fitness level I left off on- 2 minutes of tuck jumps followed by 2 minutes of burpees followed by 2 minutes of pushups, etc ...you get the idea. Way too hard after a 6 month break. Long story short- I researched and wrote customer service and found that there’s no way to “restart” a program. It just keeps where you last left off no matter how long it’s been. Total bummer! I really love this app but shouldn’t you be able to restart a program or update your fitness level or something???
Version 4.1 sluggish 2/5
I love this app but since the last update, to version 4.1, the performance is horrible. The app takes forever to open a session, with the screen locking up or being totally unresponsive. A new version (or a roll back!) is needed.
Why the upgrade? 2/5
Love the app and the workouts but don’t understand why the most recent update/upgrade was even necessary. On my iPad I can only scroll to the list of workouts in the middle of the screen and the layout brings nothing new or improved to the table. Hey, change is necessary at times I get that but this one seems like a change only for the sake of making the change and that I do not appreciate. You can do better than that, Fitbit!
Went backwards 1/5
I can’t search for workouts. I can’t replay from history anymore. It is not longer intuitive to add a favorite seems like less functions and less exercises in this last update.
Great news 5/5
By maddex vlogs
This is the best app if you want to get a six pack or loose weight it is the best
I thought for almost 50$ for a subscription it would send notifications to keep you motivated ..
Nope it sure doesn’t ..
Not really worth it..😥
Been using this app for years with no problems. Suddenly with the last update it locked everything and said I need to go premium. I already paid for a year of premium which was supposed to last until may. When I click restore purchases it says successful but nothing unlocks and it keeps telling me to become premium. This app was much better when it was fitstar, Fitbit has ruined it.
Fitbit Coach > Gym Membership 5/5
I decided to try this over getting a gym membership. I’ve had a gym membership before and I liked it alright, but with my current schedule it’s too difficult for me to make time to go. I figured that with the Fitbit app, I could stay home, and I’ve got no excuse not to work out, rain or shine. After two workouts, I can say that I love this and I feel much more motivated to work out now that I can do it anytime! I definitely need someone to tell me what to do and I like being able to see the person on the screen so I can gauge my pace and form. $8 a month is way better than $30. <3
Starting Once Again 5/5
Just started using but I have to say I love the short workouts I can do with no equipment. Great way to get back into it after a year away from the gym.
Okay but needs improvement 3/5
I love my Fitbit and just joined a gym. I thought this app looked great. I loved the different workouts (body weight, treadmill, walking, stair master and more) and I really loved how it automatically synced with your Fitbit.
I cancelled my membership after a month however for a few reasons. One, there is not enough variety to charge $8 per month for this. For example, the treadmill workouts have about only 3 “easy” workouts. If you’re just starting out, you need the easy workouts. Two, you can’t use your own music in the coached workouts. While the music selection is actually not horrible, I need my own music to enjoy my workout. Three, some of the coaching is too annoying and cheesy for me.
Visually, I think this app is great but if you want to charge $8/mo you need to add more variety and make the music capability better.
❤️ Fitbit 4/5
I ❤️ fitbit. I wish there was a way that it would record my bike rides accurately without me having to use another app. Other than that it’s an amazing tool to help you to get healthy.
Love the new redesign!!! 5/5
Irritating. Premium Bought but won’t recognize 1/5
I have purchased this app to go with my normal routine. Why not it fits with my Fitbit. The first time I purchased premium, my purchase couldn’t be restored so it just kept asking me to buy premium every time. But the settings said I already had. I cancelled it out of sheer frustration. Waited a few months and tried again. Same thing. So they’ve now gotten 16 bucks off of me for a platform that says I haven’t paid for. Purchase made, restore purchases won’t work. Irritated! I have to give it 1 star and I’m disappointed as I haven’t been able to use any of it
