Great app but.. 3/5
I love this and how it’s comparable with my Fitbit but I hate that you have to pay to unlock most workouts. First we buy a very expensive Fitbit and now we have to pay for most workouts. It just isn’t very good.
Free version offers very little 1/5
There are about 6 free workouts - the rest are available via Premium. Very limited options overall. I selected a program and it noted this was my “program” but offered no program or exercises. Disappointed after two days. I will keep looking for a better option.
free apps you have to pay for 1/5
I paid for the watch well over $100 you would think that the you’d get a free coaching app included without having to go premium to really unlock anything.
Fit bit login invalid 1/5
The app is pretty bad in the fact that Fitbit owners can not login with out Fitbit logins. What is the point of the app let alone advertising it if Fitbit users have no way of accessing.
The Absolute Worst 1/5
After just paying for the watch, you now need to pay monthly for a premium membership. There are literally no free workouts in this app. On top of that, once you download this app, it wipes the free workouts already in “coach” on your watch. Waste.
Good but could be AWESOME 4/5
I love using the fit bit coach along with my Fitbit it’s motivating and helps me get in work outs because I have pretty terrible anxiety and going to the gym is too overwhelming for me. I wish that there was more workouts on there like Pilates or Yoga or Zumba that you could try too. I know that they have a fit-star Yoga app but I’m not so into it that I want to spend money on doing it all the time. I like the coaches and like that it connects with my Fitbit App. I also like that I can look at past workouts and do them again if I like them. It’s a good app but if they added more workouts that were different it would be amazing.
Cannot log in 1/5
I’ve downloaded this app 4 times and i still cannot log in through my FitBit account. I tried to register as a new user but it won’t let me do that because it recognizes my email, yet won’t let me log in. No option to contact support but an option to rate the app, so here it is. I deleted it.
Not Free switch to apple 1/5
You’d think after spending 200+ dollars on a the their main product they’d give you a break on their apps! Seriously thinking of selling mine and getting an apple watch. (Which is relatively close to the same price and you can do some much more with)
Excellent addition to Fitbit 5/5
Love this app and immediately purchased the full year membership. The variety of workouts based on needs and time is fantastic. It’s been a great addition to regular weight workouts or days when I just need a quick workout fix. One recommendation for future app updates would be to make the workouts sortable. By time, difficulty, etc.
Failed to reach the consent service.. 2/5

I haven’t been able to do anything for the last few days! What’s going on?
I just wanted an app that gave you free workouts and was related to Fitbit. So I downloaded this app. I was excited to try it out. But no, I have to pay 7.99 per month for premium. You already make enough money! You sell a Fitbit Surge for $249.95. And you get plenty of customers! Now you just want people to pay more money for something everyone should have free access to, personal fitness and health! Think before you make people pay for things! Just make the app cost money, not PREMIUM!!!!! No one likes premium!
Well I can’t login with my Fitbit or with Facebook. I attempted to contact the company through their listed email and got a reply that the email doesn’t exist. So I’m beyond frustrated. Used to Love my FitStar Yoga with Tara Stiles, now wondering what happened....
Can't login with my Fitbit account 1/5
It works on the Fitbit app, but not this one. It just says "Validation failed"
Good app, would love to cast workouts 4/5
The workouts are good and offer a lot of variety. I would love to be able to cast them to my tv rather than trying to keep up with them on my phone. I would also love to see some spin workouts added.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY It free cost $39.99 1/5
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY
I love Fitbit and own a Fitbit Ionic watch. However this is not up and ready lots of issues. No customer service you can talk to. You can only email the support team and there response is NO REFUNDS. Fitbit quality use to be very well done. This app shows free, but you get a few workout on your watch. If you want more workout they Fitbit Coach you must pay $39.99. For instances they says my Ionic watch you can view exercises on them. Yes but a few however if you by the Premium package you can get all of the workouts. NOT TRUE you can only get regular additional workouts on your iPhone. However you still get the few workouts that you get with free workouts on the watch. Why doesn’t say Fitbit day that. The workouts don’t even add to your workouts totals on in Fitbit dashboard. This services is also called Fitbit Coach, FitStar and Fitbit Premium.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY
Will be deleting this app I love my Fitbit and have wore it forever and love going to the gym, so I figured this app would give me a little extra kick so I downloaded it and got to the main screen and it’s 7.99 a month or 39.99 a year for a premium membership which is absurd so I’m deleting and it has me rethinking using my Fitbit if they were so Intune with helping people it would be free like other apps out their so right now I’m disappointed and will not recommend this app to anyway the way times are it’s hard enough for people to pay bills let alone an app every month
Get moving????? 1/5
By lds 🙂
I know that to get most features, you need unlimited. I’m FINE with that... all I want to do is “Get Moving” daily. But I did the free workout vid once and now it won’t let me do it again. If I can never do at least Get Moving, what’s the point? I just want to do the free one daily and it won’t let me
Keep getting a verification error? 1/5
By Becky D 85
I’d love to try this app with my Fitbit app but I keep getting a verification error when I try to log in.
What’s the point ? 1/5
I don’t see the point of having this app when you can’t even really use any of its features due to it requesting you to pay for the premium upgrade .. it’s free to DOWNLOAD but basically you have to upgrade and pay to use premium? I’ll be deleting this app
Good Start, But Needs More 3/5
I like the app, but wish it were more versatile. For example, I wish you could search for workouts by length or difficulty. Also, it really needs spinning workouts. It is great for outdoor workouts, but lacking with indoor workouts.
Thanks for all the wonderful updates. I’m so glad you’re making FitBits for everyone who wants to burn calories
Good customer service 3/5
Bought the month to month subscription. Although payment was taken for 2nd month and profile shows enrolled in Premium subscription, it will not unlock the workouts. Tried to get support and wasn’t able to. It only suggested to delete and reinstall the app. I have done that and it didn’t help. Was not clear as to how to create your own workouts either. The idea is good but app needs work and better support
After my review I also contacted Paypal to file a claim. Customer Support contacted me and corrected the problem. Not sure if it was the claim with Paypal or the review but the issue was taken care of. The customer rep followed through to make sure the issue had been resolved.
I really really want this app to work, but right after the initial workout the app crashes every time I try to rate the exercises.

Got a Fitbit for my bday and I when a head to take this up a notch and download the Fitbit coach to help with my work. Had an amazing time yesterday but this morning I work up to work out the app is not working now I called I have to wait 24-48hrs before I hear from someone not to mention my money that I paid for this service will go to waste
Fitbit Coach how will you help your customers to improve this service.
More music options please 5/5
Hi, I would give this 5 stars if not for the bad music selection. Some different channels would be nice. It’s quite annoying that so many assume everyone likes pop music. there’s a broad range of options & with all the advances in internet music ppl are generally used to hearing what they like.
I also posted a complaint in the support section of the app & only 3 hrs later I received an email w instructions on how to switch channels & also play my own music. This solved my problem & I was really impressed with the speed & professionalism of the app support. I came back to this review & changed it from 3 to 5 stars. Thx guys ! I’m very much enjoying my workouts now :)
Use to be better 2/5
I believe this use to be better. Apparently now after some months passed they now only have one work out..Really? In the summer months there was a few to chose from, now it seems like they rather have my money than my health.🍷
Not friendly for chronic pain issues 1/5
I tried the first start for beginners, it was way too much for my body to handle. I could not find anything less challenging and or more supportive for those with chronic health issues. I wish fitbit had a yoga app as i love fitbit tracker. Please consider either making a gentle or yoga type app for those with chronic pain or add this to existing app please
Was going to buy the premium 1/5
I was going to buy the Premium on the app but every time I try to write the test work out the first workout you do it doesn’t let me and will just close out of the app completely definitely not going to pay money if I can’t even use it
One problem 3/5
I like this app it’s great but it’s always crashing, I can’t finish my workout
Only Some things available for Free 3/5
By Kitty wold
I personally like the app but you can’t go far unless you get premium, and I find that wrong because you pay so much for the fit bit already. But after paying the Fitbit price, I think some people might have a issue paying the fees to get the nice coaching. It needs to offer more advanced free stuff for us who can’t afford to pay the fees. It would just be nice. But other than that nice app
Not working after recent change 1/5
App was working fine until today when it made me sign up for Fitbit and then it wouldn’t let me login when I use the credentials.
This app is very restrictive. Most of the videos were restricted and locked. in the app there are sections and in each section there was a vast amount of videos, but most of them were locked and I couldn’t access them. But the only way to unlock them is to pay for a premium membership and for a month it is $8.00 and for a year $40.00. But with out the membership I went to the section named “stair” and almost all of them were locked and only one video wasn’t locked. It is up to you, but I don’t suggest getting this unless you really have the time, money and dedication to get fit.
This isn’t a “Free” app 1/5
By Romy N
The only free item in this app is the test to see where you are physically.
Ever since I renewed my subscription 2 days ago the sessions stopped recording to my Apple Watch for my exercise minutes and active calories.
Hope they fix this soon
Good not great 3/5
I do like how easy it has been to get in a daily workout. However, there are lot nearly enough workouts, it could add some free weight or kettle bell workouts as well as an elliptical workout. I also find that the current workouts don’t really get my heart rate up enough except for the treadmill work outs.
Pay Monthly Yet No Access??? 2/5
I’m paying for my subscription through iTunes and yet when I log in to work out, TRY PREMIUM is all in my face. I’m logged in and a paying customer yet no access to what I’m paying for. Your chat robot was maddeningly I helpful. An email in 24 to 48 hours? I’m up at 6am on a Sunday to workout with this stupid app. Bring back fitstar yoga. It was better and there’s no yoga or even a cool down on Coach. Seems a bit stupid.
Used for years while it was fitstar. Never had an issue. Fitbit gets a hold of it and all kinds of issues. First I had to go through hoops to get it to remember I was a premium user. It started working for a few weeks and out of nowhere it would only load certain workouts. It’s been doing that for months now. Okay I can deal with it since some still work but than it gives me an error “failed to reach consent service”. I googled it and found a forum that gave some ways to resolve it. They didn’t work of course. Kept reading through and lots of people were having the issue and a few got it fixed but several still had the issue and a representative from Fitbit gets on and says he’s closing the thread cause it was fixed. It wasn’t for many. Paid the money for premium and can’t even use it. Trying to get any help from them is crazy. Definitely will not be renewing, which is to bad cause I liked this app.
Great features, almost perfect! 4/5
By Kusko 1234567
The only thing I would love to see in addition to what you already have is cycling workouts and more HIIT videos. I like that you can play your own music and the newest version allows you to skip the ratings of a workout after the actual exercise so that you can move right along.
Great app! 5/5
Sorry for all the users with login problems but for me this app is great… Functionality, the workouts, just about everything. I’ve tried a bunch of similar apps but keep coming back to this one as it’s the only app so focused on body weight exercises.
OK, some of the commentary is a bit cheesy but that’s a small price to pay!
practically unusable 2/5
The app makes me sign in every time I try to use it. 95% of the time, it doesn't recognize my account...
It gets two stars because it used to be good.
Won’t let me log in 1/5
By Photo guy1993
I have tried to log in several ways, several times and it will not work.
When trying to log in to Fitbit Coach using my Fitbit account, it just keeps saying “error, validation failed” even though I am 100% sure I am entering the correct email and password. App is totally unusable.
Great App but... 4/5
Please add Chromecast support. Yes I'm using the app on an iPad but I'd like to put it on the TV using Chromecast. Otherwise great app, really enjoy the workouts
Volume of music too low when doing a workout 3/5
One of the things that really need improvement is the sound quality and music options. When you’re doing a workout you’re limited to what you can listen too and even if you choose one of the genre provided it automatically lowers the sound volume which is a bummer especially when you’re in the gym and everyone is going at it you can’t drown out those background sounds and enjoy your workout has you get pumped to your music.
Needs a fix immediately
Good workouts, terrible music 2/5
By Sean Bugg
I liked the workouts when I subscribed, except for the lack of HIIT elliptical routines. The primary reason I cancelled was the inability to use my own music (or podcasts or audiobooks); the music stations offered were pretty terrible (to my tastes) and it just seems weird that any app these days would lock you out of using your Apple Music playlists, etc. If that changes I’d certainly give it another go, but otherwise nope.
Can’t login 1/5
I tried to login to the app and It would not allow me to do so. I changed my password just to make sure I wasn’t doing anything wrong and it still said failed. Improvements are needed so all user can successfully login
Can’t use it 1/5
I have tried logging in using my Fitbit account, to no avail. I even changed my password in hopes that somehow I’d been typing it in wrong. I am able to log into Fitbit without a problem, but when I try to use that same information to log in to this app, it says unable to validate.
Unable to log in 1/5
By Hammer San
Unable to log in. The password & user name works with the Fitbit app but not with this one. I’ve tried resetting the password and nothing seems to work.
Email only support - Buyer Beware 1/5
As stellar as Fitbit’s support is supposed to be, the team that supports this app can only be reached electronically.
I had multiple issues with this app crashing and other audio bugs.
I need a workout program I can depend on and this is not it.
