Love this app, but .. 4/5

Recently something is going on with the app when it comes to playing music in my headphones simultaneously. It cuts the music volume in half as soon as I begin the workout. I even try to open the music app thru FitCoach but still it is doing this. Please fix!! It’s so annoying and I am less likely to open the app and use it now just for this very reason.

This app is a joke. They are constantly trying to sell you more “guides” for a lot of money. They won’t refund your money if you aren’t satisfied with the quality of the app. It is simplistic. They are political. Don’t waste your money. Go with 1st Phorm or a much better thought out product.
Seriously. I’ve cancelled my subscription and also read many folks have had issues with continued billing after cancelling. Avoid this app. No good. Not useful. A waste of money and they are difficult to work with.

Finding this ap has been a game changer for me. I have been a stay at home mom for years. I have never been one to consistently work out. I have done the workout videos once in a while but nothing ever stuck or just seemed more like a job to find the time and set up to do what I needed too. Hitting 40 I had some health issues and my metabolism also slowed way down. This ap has been a blessing to me! I have a work out mat in the corner of my bedroom, I put my phone up on my dresser and I am good to go. I love i can do so much in 10-45 whatever i want to do! I can change my workout around, add my apple music playlist for sound inspiration, and have a coach talking to me to make sure i do the exercises just right! The hard stuff goes fast because each exercise is timed or counted and so many things i am thinking i can hang on for 40 more seconds! I dont really follow the diets as some of the recipes are just stuff i do not have on hand, but I am so inspired by the set up of workouts that part does not matter to me. I had a glitch when i got my new phone and the customer service was excellent getting help to straighten that out. If you are thinking about it, just do it! It is so worth it!

See this is annoying. You go through about 20-30 minutes of signing up and giving your info on weight and lifestyle and stuff and at the end of everything then it asks you to sign up for a paid plan.. HOW ANNOYING!! Why can’t you ask for a paid plan first before wasting all that time. Don’t waste your time filling anything out if you don’t want to pay anything,

I love this app! The first month it was fine. Now I’m on month 2 and it randomly stops downloading exercises. I get a sad face and a prompt to try again and it still doesn’t work. I move forward past that exercise (sometimes past 2 exercises) and it starts working again. Very disappointing.

Workouts don’t load, progress is not recorded, cannot cancel subscription. If you can get any workout to load, there is no rhyme or reason to the plans. Everything about this is bad.

This app locks up about every 3rd instruction causing complete disruption and distraction from the goal of relaxation and exercise. You have to just skip the routine which deams this app useless. Don’t waste your money - apppeara to be western but it is not made by industry experts. Pictures and instructions are not even correct in relation to the routines.

Every month, this app resets my workout preferences, weight, etc. back to my original plan. This bug defeats the app’s theoretical ability to adjust the difficulty of the workouts as I progress. Frustrating.

I get more versatility out of the Lose it app than FitCoach. The app loads slowly, the exercises are dull and the advertised all-in-one features are not useful. For example, food is not sometimes you can track well with this app. Lose It remains #1 in that space and also allows tracking of my workouts, steps, fasting, sleep, water intake, macros, etc.
I bought this app to get a great exercise plan to change up my routine but those exercises are dull. There’s no variety in them.
The only thing I truly enjoyed about this app was the fasting timer. It was easy to set and end and it included valuable information about the phase of fasting I’m in and what the benefits are.

Need to make some improvements, chose this app and it’s discounted initial subscription. Love the customization abilities. BUT, when I tap START to start the day’s workout, nothing happens. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling, no improvements. No app updates, available, either. Sent an email to Customer Service on Sunday, Wednesday morning now, no response. The App Support link here just takes me a to a page touting the app with opportunities to subscribe. Very underwhelmed, paid way too much for this product. I’ll give it to the end of the week before canceling subscription and reading fine print about a refund.

Scam! Do not purchase! They try to get you to sign up and pay for a million other things! I tried to skip all the extras and fat fingered one. There was no final purchase review and no back button! They charged me for something I didn’t want, and refused a refund! Scammers!

The app is great especially if you are getting started. I enjoyed being able to change my routines and provide feedback on the difficulty. However I have been using this app for a year and I’m ready to try something different. I tried to cancel and received an error message. I have tried this several times. There is a good chance I will come back to this app in the future, unless I run into a lot of difficulties canceling.

The only thing worse than this app is the customer service. Avoid some frustration by staying away from this app(freezes, sets off anti-virus, looks like it was written by a child) and avoiding the smug, self serving customer service team (if that’s what you call them). Doesn’t matter if you are covered by law or meet all the checks on the refund policy..they will not…I repeat will not honor their policy, follow the law, or just plain do the right thing- and refund your money…and that’s with me asking within an hour of purchase. *Warning - stay clear !!

Purchased this because an Instagram ad made it look good. Turns out it is nothing like how it was advertised. The videos don’t work some of the time and customer service is terrible. There are too many other good fitness apps out there, don’t get this one.

I’m 45 and I’ve gotten out of shape. In fact I’m was the heaviest that one ever been at 286. I’m 5’11” so those facts have resulted in this app exclaiming boldly in red that I’m “Extremely Obese!” I’ve since lost 15 pounds yet for my weight and age it says I’m still extremely obese! While I understand that medical charts say I should weight 185 or so, you should see me at 230 and how weird and skinny I look. I have very broad shoulders for me height and have at least middle sized bone structure. I talked to a guy the other day whose two inches taller and whose belly is twice as big as mine and he weighs the same or a little less than me and he looks way more out of shape as I’m simply way more muscular than him. I just think between this and the half naked people showing off their abs in all the pictures on these apps, they could be a little more appealing to the average person giving the effort.
Finally, even their basic programs for cardio have you do a couple lunge/squat exercises, then do some tricep push-ups and sit-ups straight into back bends. I know I’m pudgy and boarder line fat and am out of shape, but who can breathe at that point doing those excelsior’s in that order?
I really wanted to make the app work, but judging by their Instagram posts I think it’s not the crowd for me. I’ll get back down to the 240’s where it’ll probably say I’m extremely obese still and be proud of myself and will feel great; it’ll just be with another app and a different plan.

I just seen this ad on IG so I click it I go on their website and only was reading the readable words you can see which ask questions about my sizes and high then it has three memberships prices in cents not dollars I choose the second option then gave my information right away $29.99 was taken off my card what I look like when I pay $1 for planet fitness anyways so right when it took out my account I click contact option theirs no number you can call no address so you can go inside only contact thru messenger wow and emails so I told the chat agent what happen she kept saying renew I said no I’m need but I wanna cancel everything she then said she forward my email but I was already doing that because I was reading if I wanted a refund I should email them but now they wanna keep my money when I don’t wanna be a member at all I’m not playing a lawsuit will be head I contact the ceo by Instagram name Jose dm him no reply yet I’m doing my research this has cause me emotional distress pain and suffering how I’m on this site for 5 minutes and it keeps my money that’s a huge rip off right??

I bought the subscriptions impulsively without checking the app itself and felt tricked and robbed off the money. I purchased and then the next day I request a refund, because I saw that it will be on their time and not mine. In another words, they run the days, so if I don't worked out today, then it goes to the following day like if I worked out the day before, so they expect me to work out everyday, something that I will NOT DO at all. So I request a full refund since in the application and advertisement says 30 DAYS MONEY BACK GUARANTEE. Well guess what, they don't want to give the money back. Each day offers three suggestions for each meal, some of which are weird and others that are inappropriate like cookies and hotdogs for breakfast. All have more calories than a typical weight loss meal and the ingredients are listed
You also receive a daily workout led by an anime. The workouts burn less than 100 calories on average. Not impressed.

I loved the ads that showed alternative exercises that were more targeted and effective, along with estimates of how long it would take to show effects.
But the actual app? It requires payment before allowing the user to see what it does. And no wonder--it's nothing like what is advertised.
It spits out a 'plan' that doesn't allow you to click on individual exercises to see what they do or how they are better than other similar exercises. For ~$60 per year before you can even test the app!
There are far better exercise apps out there. I can't believe I got suckered into paying for one that hid behind a paywall... 😣
