Great app, needs work 4/5
I’ve been using the app for a couple months now. I love how it’s a guided workout, and that is tracks your weights. Down side, for some reason my app keeps logging me out and will not save my finished workouts anymore. So Ive been stuck on the same day for over a week now with no help from the service center.

This app has a serious glitch that’s very annoying and needs to be fixed ASAP. Every time you go on the app you have to resign in. Please fix this !!
Used to be amazing, once it auto updated it started lagging every couple of seconds.. I can’t even properly get through a workout. SO FRUSTRATING.
New idea to better challenge ourselves 4/5
I enjoy the app, I have felt a new level of motivation to lift. Just one thing I wish I could have. The app to auto generate my previous lift weight and reps. I often find myself looking at my previous weeks workout. I like to challenge myself to meet or exceed my previous workout. I may not be operating the app correctly but I think this update would be help a lot of people to push themselves harder.

I swear by this app and everyone I’ve recommended it to does too! Worth every cent. I am currently on day 60 of the total shred fitplan and have already lost 33 pounds. I highly recommend giving it a try. What do you have to lose besides weight?!

App keeps recording workouts that I don’t do...like apparently I went for six 27 minute runs yesterday(I do NOT run at all)...not sure if this is related to Apple Watch but it’s completely screwing up my fitness tracking and progress. The app itself is also freezing on me and keeps kicking me out so I constantly have to re-login. Please fix soon or I’ll have to ask for a refund. 😕

Solid app but needs more variety 4/5
I really like this app as a whole- it runs well aside from occasional connectivity problems (which did lead me to lose 3 workouts worth of data....annoying) and has made working out and keeping track of workouts much easier.
HOWEVER, there are two things I really do NOT like:
- some of the athletes’ plans do not following basic fitness principles like progressive overload. Effective plans for strength building need at least 4 weeks of the same split and some of the athletes have plans that are totally different week to week which demonstrates their lack of fitness knowledge.
- except for 2 plans that offer 4 day and 2 day splits, the plans are all 5 and 6(!) day splits. For the average person this is simply not sustainable (and even for a gym rat like me). I would like to see more variety, particularly the addition of 3 and 4 day splits to the app.
Overall: one of the best fitness apps out there but could still be better.

Love the App, But..... 2/5
I love this app. The workouts are great. However, if I’m paying for a subscription the app better work all the time. Not just some of the time. When I first started using the app it tracked everything flawlessly. However, for the last month I have been unable to see the tracked weight used on the last iteration of a movement(ie. last week on shoulder press I used 45lbs, this week on shoulder press it’s showing no weight where it use to show 45lbs). This is extremely frustrating especially since there is no way to back out to check the weights used during a workout.
Difficulty saving workouts 2/5
I’m having difficulty moving on from a workout. I did Day one of a workout, completed the entire thing and it’s having me cancel the workout and won’t count it towards a completed workout. How do I fox this issue?

The fit plans are pretty good, I only use Mike O’Hearn‘s which I think are the best ones on there. Good for beginners and intermediate people for awhile. Problems I keep having though are the tracking of the weights you put in for your exercises. I’ve also been having the problem recently when the sub renews that it keeps not loading any of the things in the app.

Since leaving my expensive gym I got a cheap membership at my local Gym and i use this to keep me on track!!! These workouts are not easy!!! Only think i suggest is lower the price !!! You will get more subscribers!! I love this but i can’t pay this forever ....to pricey
Workouts won’t save 4/5
On day 2, it’s a great app to keep on track and get a great workout in 30 minutes. Unfortunately, the workouts I’ve pulled through so far haven’t saved. After both workouts, my only way back to the main screen was to “hold to cancel”. I read other reviews and googled and it said you have to select “hold to end” to complete the workout but even if I play the video over again and wait til the end, it only says hold to cancel, not to end.
I’m learning how to do great workouts in 30 minutes but I’m logging my progress in my own notes.

Currently in week two of my first fit plan and I have to say, I LOVE it! The aesthetics are perfect, simplistic yet complex, and so many options. The two things that I would suggest are incorporating some pregnancy and post pregnancy plans as well has within you programs to have weight levels carry over from work out to workout. For example, if I squat 120lbs on Friday and the same exercise is the following Thursday, 120 would auto populate.

Unbelievable that in 2019 a bunch of hormonal men are so thoughtless, immature, and stupid to make a sexist app that starts with asking women if they want to sculpt their booty and asks men if they want to improve their athletic performance! If you are going to make an app for both men and women, at least have the decency of running it by a woman first that is not your mom!

I’ve emailed the company twice, the app has good workout but the main reason I download and PAY for this app is to track progress. You enter in your weights you use one week and when you come back to the workout, there is no weight recorded. They said they have been working on this for over two months now.

Unfortunately you can’t go back or forwards in the videos at all would be useful at least to me In case you missed something in the video and don’t want to restart the whole thing. Besides that really good fitness plans.
I have been trying to unsubscribe (not because it’s not a good fitness app) but because of the money right now just isn’t right for me. But when I touch the gear button to do it, it just keeps loading. It won’t ever bring anything up for me to unsubscribe.

It’s like having a personal trainer for the cost of Netflix. I am hooked, I have always gone to the gym but sometimes I couldn’t think of what work out I wanted to do,This app makes it so simple to have a game plan when you go into the gym.

I wish the app had monthly plans. I’m interested in the one for the year but having to pay a year in advance is too much.
Paid for a the quarterly subscription hadn’t used it in awhile went to renew and said “can’t contact fitplan server” phone is perfectly fine. Was happy with the program but if this is how it’s being run on their end... I’m not happy with it at all

On the app when u first download it, you are prompted to select your sex (not a problem, male and female body types differ and you can also opt not to answer). However, depending on the sex selected, body goals differ. Specifically, female body goals include: 1. Shred fat, 2. Tone & Tighten, 3. Build & burn, and 4. Booty gains. Male body goals include: 1. Shred fat, 2. Build muscle, and 3. Athletic performance. If you do choose to opt out of stating your sex, your fitness goals include: 1. Shred fat, 2. Build muscle, and 3. Booty gains.
Now, unless I am morbidly mistaken, which I am not, women have the same capabilities as men, and also can have the same goals. Furthermore, anyone can have the same goals, so no matter what option is selected for your sex, the goal options should remain the same. There is no reason to have the goals differ, and there is even less reason for the goals to be limited (and not all of them given) when you opt out of sex selection. Goals do not depend on your sex. They are what people strive for. Men and women can equally have the same goals in mind. It is presumptuous and naive to assume otherwise.
It is also quite distasteful and horrific that the female body goals are all oriented towards body-sculpting. The options themselves are completely acceptable, because body-sculpting is a goal for many people, not only women! However, the fact that ONLY body-sculpting goals are given to women limits women from their potential, and keeps them from completing their real goals. It may also make them more self-conscious, because it seems that they should be body-sculpting rather than pursuing other goals according to the given goal options.
Additionally, men are also perfectly able to have a goal of body-sculpting. They deserve to have the same options women do, as well as the other way around. Assuming what goals a man or woman may want simply based upon their sex is stereotyping and it is sexism! Here is the definition, if needed, “sexism”: prejudice, stereotyping, or discrimination, on the basis of sex, against either women or men.
I am a woman and I originally downloaded the app for many reasons. Sadly, my fitness goals originally in mind were to improve my athletic performance (most important) and build muscle. Apparently, this app does not deem those to be female fitness goals. I guess I could choose the Build & burn option and still use the app, but I prefer not to support a system designed to discourage me from pursuing bigger muscles and athletic ability.
Now, if you want to use the app to track workouts, or anything else at all, I have no comments on that. I deleted the app as soon as I saw that the choices for fitness goals differed upon sex selection. Other aspects of the app may be perfect and quite helpful! The fact is, the app opens with blatant sexism. If you subscribe to the app, please know that you are supporting a message of inequality and that you are continuing to support athletic stereotyping.
Barring any justifiable non-stereotyping reason for having different fitness goals for different sexes, I stand by what I have said.

For some reason when I finish a work out it doesn’t give me the option to complete it. It’s says hold to cancel and it doesn’t save my work out .. this is the first time I’m having this issue . It’s annoying.

I love these workouts you just have to eat clean follow the plan and you will see results. I had to pause my subscription. Prices keeps going up it’s ridiculous :/ it went from $9.99 to $15 in less than a year.

Would give it 5 stars but my subscription renews late for some reason. I just did the monthly but I feel it takes a week later to take the money out of my account and let me use the app again. Be pretty nice if y’all could fix that.

Pros (5 stars starting point)
- great videos, easy to follow to reduce chance of injury
- app very easy to use and a lot of plans to choose from for any level of fitness and goals
- motivational with weekly streak notices keeping me on track to get done
- friendly customer service
Cons (lost 3 stars)
- 1 out of 40 exercises it remembers my starting weight which was main reason I installed app so I don’t have to remember the weights to use. This is my biggest complaint and I’ve been asking for this to be fixed for months.
- past 2 months very slow response time for support with my last ticket still has no response from over 2 weeks ago with issues I’ve found such as a wrong video tied to an exercise.
- app continues to turn off my music but with last update seems to have been resolved.
