It’s a subscription 😤 1/5
If you don’t want to pay for a period tracker then this is NOT the app for you. This is a subscription app and the plans aren’t cheap either. Don’t waste your time there are a lot of other great free apps besides this bs
Super helpful just wish they would add one thing! 4/5
I wish they had an option of being able to put it your birth control, it would be super helpful and be able to track my period better!
okay so i use this app regularly and rely on it for a lot of period related things. it was a 10/10 app for me HOWEVER now they introduced premium and all that and it made me like it less. it says you can unlock ‘more about your health’ if you buy it, which i don’t like at all. we should have access to everything that concerns us when it comes to our period and especially since they’re an app that’s designed for just that.

I got pregnant the first try using this app‼️‼️‼️‼️❤️
Favorite period tracker app! 4/5
I have been using this app since, well, I don’t even know because I have been using it for so long now. It’s not overly fancy and doesn’t have an excess of features that clutter the app’s main purpose. Some of the articles in the “Insights” section are really lame and common sense type of stuff. Some of it comes off as the opinion whoever wrote it. I want facts if I’m going to read this- not your two cents.
I love this app! 5/5
I love that this app gives us tips on how to help whatever is wrong with us. Acne, cramps, etc. Flo will help you! Thank you so much!
Group Chat 5/5
I feel as if the title is self explanatory
The New Update Is Horrible! 2/5
I used to love Flo. I used the app every day to log my mood, weight, and discharge levels. Now I can’t enjoy all the features of Flo that I liked. Premium has made using Flo a pain. Before, I could view any post I wanted. Now, it charges you Premium to view certain posts! To make matters worse, these were posts that I had already viewed before the update! If you’re going to add a Premium feature, at least add new features to the app. Don’t reuse old ones!
I get that you want to make money, but this is not cool. Users have been clamoring for a decent chat space and more personalized options, but you gave them this. 😡. Get it together.
Great app 5/5
I’ve been using this apps for a few years now to track my period and I’ve gotten so used to Flo that when try to use other apps that people love I somehow can’t use the app (whether it be to difficult to get or I just don’t like it

I am quite disappointed that now you guys are limiting the access to the different articles you put in the insights. I noticed that there were some articles that I was able to read before the update, and now I can’t access them again unless I partake in the free trial at the very least. Besides the usefulness of tracking my period, those health articles were the highlight of my accessing this app. And now I am feeling like there is a sense of gatekeeping to these features, which is a shame considering that access to information concerning women’s health is already spotty and limited to the average citizen. Very disappointed that you would implement this feature—obviously money is more important providing this education universally.
Maybe the best 5/5
I’ve actively used this app for the last two years. It has everything I need :) and surprises with more.
It’s not free 1/5
It’s not a free app and that should be noted on the app description
Love it! 4/5
It is so help when determining when your period is going to be. But, of course it is on its own schedule. The one thing I wished it had was, a button to push if u didn’t have your period all day but u got it at the end of the day. A great app to use though!!
Liked it before the update 2/5

I only recently discovered Flo, maybe around late summer time last year and I really enjoyed it. I actually learned a decent amount from it and tried to use it to track everything from aunt food visit to how much water I drank in a day, but this premium subscription update is (in my opinion) a poor decision. The insights where very cool to scroll through and learn about, but now I can only read certain ones because I’m not premium. I don’t think I’m the only one upset about it, and I think it can stifle some people’s opinion on the app (such as mine). My best example is a young girl who has just started going trough puberty, and now has to pay to get information she might be too shy to ask about. I sincerely hope the discussions won’t be for premium people only, because, again, I think it can stifle and dishearten the girls that use this app.
Wow this app was so detailed and so on point but sorry flow I won’t be paying 9.99 a month you guys must be buggin how about .99 cents now that’s reasonable
I have been using your app for a couple years now, and I have loved it from the beginning.
This app, even with my severe hormonal imbalance, has recently started to accurately predict my cycles.
I also originally liked this app because it provided useful information about the thousands of things that come with puberty and the female cycles.
I have a problem with the target audience of your information. I am 18, as of today, and I don’t want to hear about how to prevent acne during PMS, or what kinds of tampons I should be using. I want features and information that are applicable to my intellect and age range.
More important on my list of priorities, however, I just opened the app today (January 21st), and I was greeted with a nasty surprise that you’ve begun a subscription system. There are a lot of colorful words I wish to use to express myself, but for the sake of validity, this is how I shall approach the subject:
This app should be used for beneficial purposes to the people who use the app – not for your petty self interests and obvious goal for personal gain. To say the least, I am disgusted by your new symptom, and as soon as I find a new app, I will not continue to use yours.
Btw, after reading some of the other dev responses, no, your app isn’t f*cking free anymore. Stop lying.

i’ve used a lot of these apps and have never found a good one. then i tried flo and fell in love! it works so well.
Does not keep track correctly 1/5
I entered the wrong date for an event on it and it changed everything completely. Even after I corrected the problem. I was supposed be on day one of period and it says tomorrow now is day one pot prediction day.
Love this app 3/5
Love the app, been using it for awhile. However not a fan of the new premium thing. Has cool options but I can't pay monthly for it, bummer
Trying to be fancy and get peoples money instead of having women’s backs and being simple and useful. Now its just annoying. Bye Flo, you were useful and fun for a short while.
It’s okay 4/5
By Buzzy bug
I loved this app when it first came out and it has been really helpful but now the new updates include all the premium stuff. You used to be able to view all the insights and now to see majority of it you have to upgrade to premium and pay a monthly fee 👎🏼 also you can’t pair your Fitbit watch without needing a premium account 🙄
crashes too much 3/5
This app is almost perfect for its purpose, except that it has to crash over ten times before it actually opens. It’s really infuriating and makes me forget tracking my period and consider if it’s worth keeping. I really like it but the crashing drives me insane.
Simply the best
I love this app it’s pretty accurate on your periods but I used to love to read those little articles in the app and I hate that now it says that I have to pay premium if I want to read them :( but overall great for tracking.
All & All A Good App 🅿️
BOOOO!! Premium is a joke! 3/5
By Sally Fields
$50 a year for “premium articles?! Puh-lease!!! I read some of those articles 2mos ago before you offered the “premium” features and they are definitely not worth that fee.
Good for tracking, but insights not great 3/5
I’ve been using this app for about two months now to track my period and calculate ovulation. My biggest concern with the app is that the insights aren’t particularly helpful if you aren’t a woman with a male partner who will not be using any assisted reproductive technology. I am a single woman planning a solo pregnancy, but I’m also a lesbian so if I had a partner they would be a woman. I wish the quizzes in the app took into account assisted reproductive technology or donor use or even just the possibility that someone might not have a fertile male partner. The app is useful for remembering start dates for my period and tracking my bbt, but I would love to get more out of the insights.
I use it all the time 3/5
That being said. It’s not consistent. It changes things on me like how many days til my period, how many days til ovulation. I think it’s because I’m irregular but it’s very frustrating. I’ve been regular since fertility treatments that weren’t successful and all I want is a baby and a reliable app. So after years of using it. I’m finding something else
Charges for once free info? 4/5
While I love this app I am curious why articles available to me last week are now only offered for premium accounts?
Other than this new premium option it’s a great app for tracking.
Pretty good 4/5
This app is really good. Most of the time it has my periods in about the right sports. All the insights and group chats are really useful. But I think I speak for a lot of flo users when I say that we need a free group chat where we can basically just talk about whatever. Also plz don’t delete comments off topic on flo chats because those r really needed and we want help and you are taking away that freedom. Other then this, it’s a great app. Oh, one more thing, I would rlly love it if flo added a period for night and day because mine differs. Some nights it’s crazy, and then that day it’s super light. Plz take this into thought. Thx
Useless unless you pay 1/5
By Concave scream
I’ve been using this app for a couple of years to track my cycle and symptoms. I just recently noticed that my ovulation is no longer predicted until AFTER I’ve gotten my period. What good does that do anyone? Now I have to pay to unlock predictions, which is the only reason to use this app? No thanks. I’m off to find another period tracking app.
I love Flo 5/5
I love flo but i would like if you could put more symptoms....it’s more things i may be feeling....but over all I’ve been using it for years so 🤷🏽♀️ Baby dust to everyone and me🙋🏽♀️🎉
This app is amazing but it is really glitchy sometimes and crashes pretty often. But this app is very helpful.
By Hello_Kitty ❤️❤️❤️
I don’t like it. I just started my period so the thought that I might be pregnant in not going to be on my mind. I mean I don’t want to be pregnant. No a good app if you don’t want to know if you might be pregnant.
Laggy and Slow Please Fix 5/5
By Swearing off of Dating
I have an iPhone 5s and it’s always been slightly slow but not too bad. Recently it’s been SUPER SLOW and each update makes it slower. Can you please try to fix it bc it even crashes sometimes and I makes me want to find a new app bc it’s that bad
Changed app to make you buy Premium 1/5
They changed the reports on symptoms to make them harder to chart and see patterns because they want you to buy Flo premium. They should have grandfathered in the users who have plugged their info into this app for years rather than just ripping them off. Women are vulnerable, you’re ripping off a vulnerable population.
One feature I would love to see!! 5/5
By Caileigh Wine
I’ve been using the Flo app for years now and I love it!! The only thing that I could see improving the app is an option where you could say whether you’re on birth control or not. 2 years after using Flo I began using birth control and my biggest side affect is an unpredictable period. Sometimes I have it 3 times a month, and other I’ll go 3 months without having it. However I’ve noticed the app does not like that, as sometimes a whole month will be filled with a grey continuous line saying my period is late. It’s not a huge biggest problem, but it would be nice to have the option to say you’re on birth control.
Always 3 days off!!! 3/5
By @ ratata
Flo is always abt 3-4 days late! It’s supposed to update when I enter the dates of my periods, but it doesn’t. What gives?
I set alerts for the day b4 my period but they NEVER show up. Also, this app is shows pictures of only females in insights and assumes that all people using the app identify as women. Not cool. It also says “a chance to get pregnant” even tho I’m not in pregnancy mode!
Otherwise it’s a pretty cool app.
Great App 🥳 5/5
this app is absolutely great all the predictions are right & on time.
Love it! 5/5
It’s sooo helpful!
Used to be better... 3/5
I loved this app with the step tracker and water intake and especially when they added more emotions and moods and the predictions! The cycle predictions were wonderful but now to get them I’d have to buy the premium version so the main appeal of this app is gone
Add more options to menstrual details, such as dysmenorrhea, blood clots, odor, etc. Hope it can be improved. I feel that the recent updates are not as good as before
Great App 4/5
By Claire Puks
Have used this app for a while. It’s really helpful for reminders and tracking statistics during my period!
The only thing I would like improvement on is the reminders managing. I recently started the NuvaRing and I wish it had a note on the calendar so I could check when to change my ring. It does have the pop up reminder. But if I want to check when i need to change it, I have to manually calculate.
So You’re Telling Me... 2/5
You’re telling me, you want me to pay $50 to read an article I can find online, for free? I’ve been using flow for quite some time. I wonder since your description says you’re updating again if this will no longer be a free service. I get you guys need your coin... but a period tracker for $50? Nah. I can do that on my calendar by myself. I don’t think a lot of women are willing to pay for this.
Birth control 4/5
I love the app but I would love it more if it had something to do with birth control! Reminders, suggestions, period variations!
Best app ever 5/5
When it comes to tracking my cycle this is the app to use. The two times i wanted to get pregnant, i had used this app to track my most fertile days and it never fails! Within the first 2 tries bam whatta you know i’m pregnant lol. If you want an app to track your cycle while being able to put notes in this is for you. If you are trying to conceive and you want to use the calendar method, this is most definitely for you!
By Extremely mad with update
Downloaded this app about a week or two ago and this is the second day I’ve been able to open it completely. Usually it stays on the Flo logo screen and crashes.
New update doesn’t work 2/5
When I tap the app to open it, the screen just turns black and then it closes itself :( I can’t log my period anymore
