I am a print and digital subscriber that has never been able to log into the app. I reached to support and they weren’t able to help. This has been going on ever since Meredith bought them. I keep seeing ads about the great new Fortune app, website, and magazine. I think they have some work to do on the customer experience part.

I’ve subscribed for 35 years.
The app used to work beautifully- now it’s impossible to download new issues. And it crashes. Can’t even login half the time.
Calling the 800 number is useless.
I will not be renewing my print edition next renewal cycle.

It bugs down every time a magazine is released.
I have a subscription and never lets me read the new magazine. Always tries to make me buy it individually.
I call the customer services and they don’t know what to do. Send you all over the place and don’t solve your issue.

With every new issue of the magazine I have to contact customer support to access the issue. Every time they respond, and I’m able to get the issue. But they refuse to acknowledge or fix the core problem, which is the need to contact them for every new magazine. Why don’t you address this .

With the latest app I have write to technical support to download the current publication. I tried all of their recommendations from syncing to logging out and back in again and retrying a day or two later. For me the “improvements” to the customer experience is such an enhancement that I don’t get an opportunity to read what pay for. It’s frustrating as I have been a long time subscriber - it’s nearly as frustrating as my Sunset magazine subscription- there technical support does not exist, well they never respond to my email for help.

The app usually works great to navigate the magazine but it has not downloaded iTunes new issues multiple times which requires me to logout delete the app and restart. Eventually they come back but it’s annoying...my only app concern. Other than that it’s very well constructed...

I’ve been a loyal reader of fortune for 20 years, however their app is terrible. Every month I run into issues downloading the current issue and have to communicate with their customer service multiple times. It baffles my mind that they can’t figure out in a digital world how to create even a mediocre customer experience. It’s beyond frustrating.

Update ——- Another update and locked out once again. The US postal service could do a better job of putting together an app for this magazine. Can’t login. I’m just a digital subscriber so I don’t have an account number. Enter my email address and it says user does not exist. Can someone in upper management read these comments so someone else could get fired — this shouldn’t be that difficult.

Despite following your instructions to enter email or account number (I tried both!), it says it has no record of me...even though your customer service page can find me and ask me to renew my subscription. Zinio update has completely messed up my login. Tried to log in per their instructions, but they have an email for me that I’ve never used. When I called the magazine itself, they have my correct email. Now how can I log in using an email that doesn’t exist and a password that’s not linked to it?

Do not get this app. It never works and constantly causes frustration and problems. It’s too bad that a decent magazine makes its paying readers use such a worthless product to access their content.

Can’t download the February issue. Spoke to customer service numerous times. Deleted the app and re-downloaded and still no success.

Incompetent and customer hating organization. I called customer service on January 25 to complain that I couldn’t open the February issue. The customer service rep explained that of course not, it wasn’t February yet.
What incompetence. What does it say about a business magazine that is so bad at it’s own business? I’ve also sent several emails to no avail.

I’ve been a subscriber to the print version of Fortune for almost 40 years. Have been questioning the value of renewing my subscription each year it has come due over the past couple of years as the content has gone steadily downhill. While traveling, having the ability to download and read via this app was always one positive. Now they’ve taken an app that was easy to use and performed flawless, and made it impossible to use. Will definitely not be renewing my subscription when it expires.

Why complicate what is working? Why not try a new app update beofre launching it ? So basic...everytime you update it it’s the same problems.. i tried already to restore my purchases and get access to the New magazine, but i only get the preview...even though i have an annual subscriptions with many months till expiration....you will lose (another) client...so frustrating...

This app was working decently (except it doesn’t remember between sessions where in the magazine I left off, which is really annoying) until recently when I can’t access the latest issue. The app confirms I have a subscription through Sept 2019, but nothing will get the issue to unlock. Reinstalled the app, restored purchases multiple times, etc. This may be it for me and Fortune...

Everywhere the text asks to choose a subscription option there are no actual options, it only gives you the option to pay $7 for a single digital copy. 1 star because a company this size should not have issues with something so simple.

This app gets worse with every update. It was better 5 years ago. I have been a reader for almost 10 years and took to the digital version early, but the app is so bad now I don’t know if it is worth keeping my subscription. It rarely works well when offline, even when I have downloaded the issue. Now it wants me to sign in AGAIN but when I do it just goes to a frozen white screen that never goes away.
The navigation is awful. I can’t figure out how to bookmark where I left off. I need to login every time I open the app. I just wait for my hard copy in the mail.

The previous user interface/experience for this app was excellent. I often recommended the app to friends and colleagues as an example of a well done magazine app. The recently implemented interface changes are an enormous step back. I hope much of the previous user experience comes back or I will not be continuing my subscription.
