Challenging workouts 4/5
This app provides workouts that are quite challenging which is what I was looking for. I’ve replaced my daily gym routine with this and I feel like I achieve more in 30 minutes than I did in over an hour at the gym. My sole gripe with the app is there’s no option to remove the sounds it plays. The music when looking at the technique videos and the cheering at the end of workouts are somewhat annoying. Please give us a choice. Thanks!
Keep it coming 5/5
Honestly this is one of the best Apps ever. In my line of work I already workout every week Day in the morning but I decided to give this app a try for my evening workouts when I am bored with nothing else to do. I was super impressed after the first workout. Every workout or exercise will have you sweating if you actually put in the effort. For someone such as me who feels in shape this app makes me want to do better because it changes my perspective of what being in shape is.
I was kind of disappointed when I found out that I needed to sign up for a coach to use the workout daily plan function but to my surprise it was unlocked today when I opened the app. I am actually happy that even without signing up for a coach there are still plenty of workout sessions to choose from or you can go with the single workouts. Thank you guys for offering this awesome app thumbs up.

Workouts are not innovative or high impact. Cost is not what they advertise as they charge a high flat rate and you do not find this out till your charged. Not worth your time.
Great, but where’s the Apple Watch app? 5/5
The app is great! Workouts are great and I like the results. I feel bad taking one star off the rating since the iPhone app itself is great, but I can’t believe there’s no Apple Watch app for this! It’s the only workout app I own that doesn’t have one and the experience just seems incomplete without one.
Surprise charges, bad customer care, and no refunds 4/5
EDIT: After a bit of a fight, my girlfriend was refunded. Updated to 4 stars.
They charged my girlfriend $35, without prior warning, and were not willing to refund. She’s between jobs and now her bank account is empty. I was a huge fan of Freeletics, but after this there’s no way I’ll be using their apps anymore or recommending them to my friends.
After a 1 month trial there was (a) no notification that an automatic 3-month subscription would be charged and (b) no opt-in to continue the subscription. Additionally they were not even listed as an active subscription on her Apple account, yet they still charged the $35 to my girlfriend, leaving her with no money to support herself for the week.
All of that would even be fine even if they just refunded the subscription, but they refused. Just goes to show the people behind Free-letics don’t believe in anything “Free” about it.
Starting Over 5/5
I was once fit, but got lazy and am now feeling the middle age spread. This app mixes up exercises that we all know, keeping me engaged. I’m feeling the burn and am loving it!
Not free 1/5
By Gerald Hemmington the 16th
The name of this app is complete crap and misleading. The app itself is free but to do anything you have to pay.
Terrible Customer Service 1/5
They charged me without notice, after a year of having deleted the app, and refused to give a refund, citing their "policy."
3 weeks in 5/5
Really enjoying it so far. The videos are extremely detailed and helpful. The ability to give feedback makes sure you stick with it. I’ve tried other workout apps/plans that are just outside of my currently ability, and so it’s hard to feel motivated to keep trying them. Freeletics is never completely outside my ability, and if it is, I can give feedback so my workout is more appropriate next time! The app is sleek, and the exercises feel effective. Looking forward to continuing using it.
Disappointing App 1/5
There are videos of exercises but no detailed instructions and no obvious process or explanation of how to use the App. “Support” seems to be unhelpful canned responses to questions I have emailed. A waste of money in my opinion
Free App, NOT Free to Use! 1/5
It gives you ONE workout for free, then you have to pay. Month-to-month is not and option on here — only 3, 6, or 12. Deleted it right away. 👎🏽
Definitely not free 3/5
By french toast yummy
Checked my bank account I guess I paid for this even though it said it was free 😪
Well worth the money, no matter which plan you pick 5/5
I am prior military, a current cop, and a former certified Crossfit trainer with three years experience training clients at a Crossfit box. Frequent work travel, coupled with an inability to access key pieces of workout equipment have derailed many programs I have tried over the last several years. Couple this with two new kids, some nagging overuse injuries, and the usual stresses of life and the me I see in the mirror in my mid thirties is markedly different from the me I saw staring back just five years ago, not to mention much slower and weaker. I decided to try a simpler, more minimalist approach to fitness that I could take with me literally anywhere, and started looking at fitness apps for my phone. I was looking for a Bodyweight or KB program when I ran across a review of the Freeletics app. Freeletics is relatively popular in Europe, but hasn’t made a huge splash here in the US yet. I decided to give this app a shot, and so far I am very impressed. The workouts and programming are tailored to your schedule, what little space or equipment you have access to (I.e. a pull-up bar, and floor space), and your own abilities. The program also adapts itself to how you are progressing as you proceed through it. For instance, my first week was relatively easy, and I breezed through even the metcon drills... so I made sure to say as much in the little questionnaires which you are asked at the end of each session. The second week: way more challenging! Much more volume, more intense circuits, and harder skills to master with the “drills” sessions at the beginning of your workout. The app itself is relatively easy to learn to utilize, and has lots of helpful videos to demonstrate any movements or skill sets you aren’t familiar with. You can also access soundtracks, nutrition content, and blog articles. All in all, for a couple bucks a week, I give this app a solid 5 Star rating after my first couple weeks.
Great app but I guess can do better? 4/5
I love this app, really. But minor suggestion, can the devs enable a landscape mode for ipad users? Or am I just missing something? Either way, keep up the good work!
In May 2018, I will have had this app for a subscribed year. In that year I have done the same exercises over and over and over again. I even reset the app twice and still all I've done are squats, lunges, sprawls, push ups and crunches. There are so many other exercises I see in the app that I want to do but the “Coach” rarely brings in anything new. If I do get a new exercise like “superman” i get to do it once every few months.
I complained to Freeletics over a month ago and they said they would help but nothing happened.
I like the interface of this app but everything else is just repetitive and it’s not worth another year long subscription.
The company has responded saying they help and have another look into my training plan. As noted above you had that chance a month ago and no one helped me and NOTHING changed.

I really love this app. It's convenient and you can take it anywhere.
In app subscription prices are a lie 1/5
So I downloaded the app after seeing an ad to help me with my fitness and overall physical health and when I got to the part for the subscription the prices were not as they were meant to be. I clicked the 12 month one because it said it was about $2 and some change but then I got an email saying I’ve been charged $114.99. I’m looking up ways to get a refund from them but I’m very upset that they would just lie about the prices instead of just putting the full amount. Im sure this app is great but I’m never going to use this again :/
Love this app! 5/5
Loving it! Great value for the price in my opinion
Needs improvement 4/5
I like the app right now & how the coach is there with exercises & workouts. There’s a bug that won’t allow me to finish an exercise. I’m not sure why. Also it would be nice if there was an image of what muscles you are working out with each exercise. Keep improving!
Was the best app at first 1/5
Now it is getting worse and worse
Return Freeletics MAX back
Return website workout log ability
add ability to add workouts made without your timer QUICKLY as it was on your website.
Add customizable workouts! We want to perform old Freeletics Pro ARES with Jackknives, Pro ver of HYPERION with OH Pushups, Pro ver of ZEUS with 5 Strict HS Pushups and so on.
App periodically crashes during workout, on 3rd round of 5 for eg, and we have to start over with incorrect time.
Freeletics Pro app was a lot better.

This app is so great and tell your friends about it
Should be called pay letics 2/5
I want to start off by saying it’s a great app and if you get a coach and follow the plans you will get in shape no
Doubt but it’s not free and the name is FREE LETICS. I think it’s wrong that y’all named it that but y’all do have a good setup but totally deceived me with the name
Request / Suggestion 4/5
Love the app. Would it be possible to make the app compatible with the Apple Watch? Maybe make it possible to keep track of stuff
Live Free(letics) or Die 5/5
BEST fitness app. It truly is #1. I can’t speak enough of how great this app is and how positively life altering it is. Yes, life altering. This app rids you of excuses to not do exercise and puts you in the driver’s seat on your way to a better you.
Fantastic app... 5/5
Please don’t turn evil and ruin it guys..
Bait and switch 1/5
One workout then then you can’t continue without a WEEKLY fee.
Where’s the companion watch app? 2/5
That’s what missing with this app. It’s seems to be a great app, I tried it and the concept is fantastic. I just can’t understand why there’s no companion watch app for it; I can’t picture myself purchasing/paying for the subscription service without the watch app! I am currently using another fantastic gym app with a great companion watch app that I considered dropping if this one could’ve been used with the Apple Watch. I recommended to wait and see if they develop a good companion app. It’s not a bad app but there’s a lot of room for improvement. Someone said watch app? Where is it?
Helping me lose weight 5/5
By Blood and carnage
I’ve only been using this app for a week. And barely been using the coach suggested workouts, only single exercises for about 10 mins every morning. And I’ve been seeing fat disappear from my mid section really fast! It makes me want to do the longer exercises at night to see more progress.
By not relatable at all
Maybe don’t call your app “freeletics” if there are no free options to try before signing up for the paid version. There are a million similar apps out there to this that offer at least a 30 day trial.
Pass. I wanted a schedule this isn't it 1/5
By Big D Guitars
I am so confused by this. I started a workout on Monday. Tell me what to do on Tuesday... this isn't it.
Too many screens on what to purchase and when. I saw this somewhere saying it would do what I wanted for free but this isn't it.
Disappointed with this.
VOLUME SETTINGS 1/5
By Evan customer
I would like to give five stars to the app, but I find it incredibly annoying that there are no volume settings for all the in-app cues. They cues are VERY LOUD, and disruptive of any other audio one is listening to while working out. I would like to be able to turn off the audio cues, countdowns etc, or at least make them quieter so they don't disrupt the other audio I'm listening too.
They will bill a renewal no matter what!!! 1/5
I cancelled my subscription mid year last year, but they just charged me $135 in February for another year, even after reaching out to customer support!! Do not use, as you will be charged for a renewal, even if you cancel. Very unprofessional! The company is actively stealing money!! Scandalous!!!
Coach rules! 5/5
This is the only exercise program I’ve been able to adhere to for 60 (!) weeks straight. It changed my perception of my own strength. Can't recommend Freeletics enough!
Great start 4/5
By PANIC ITS TYLOR
I just started with the coaching version of this app. I love that it takes all the guess work out of what you need to do I order to get results. All you need to do is bring your best effort to the sessions.
You get what you put in 5/5
High intensity interval training that focuses on the entire body but also develops the core; the base for all workout.
Good but... 3/5
WAY Too many screens in between each exercise I don’t want to record notes about every single thing I do about my workout I just want to quickly move to the next exercise they could probably cut half of the screens and clicks that are currently in between each exercise and make it a much more seamless experience. Otherwise I do feel like I get a pretty good workout from the routines.
Great Toning App 4/5
I am really enjoying the quick results I get from this app. The exercises are targeted and the coach organized workouts are effective. I just wish it had a screen to graphically track your goals and progress toward meeting them.
Committed? This app is a great partner. 5/5
Freeletics is a great tool for anyone going towards health. It has helped me a lot in my journey towards health. If you are committed, it’s the best app out there.
The do their work with excellence; from the videos to the workouts to always improving, Freeletics is a solid company.
One of the coolest things is meeting people who are in it and do Freeletics too!

Worst customer service; and exercise app 1/5
By Cloudy views
Cancelled subscription as I tried several of these apps, and this one wasn’t great.
The Nike app is free, and tons better - with the ability to sort by type of workout and time you have.
Despite cancelling they continued to charge my account, and refused to refund my money.
It is a complete scam; don’t sign up for this.
Nike train club app is way better not even close 1/5
This app was half thought out and disorganized. Much better info out there I’m an advanced lifter I bench 315+ squat over 400 so I do know what I’m talking about.
Good not great 3/5
Mixed feelings about this app. On the plus side it seems the exercises are well thought out and will yield results in time. Intense but gratifying.
If in the description you say no equipment necessary, then why do you suddenly introduce a pull up bar? This is basic no? You say no equipment it should mean no equipment.
It’s annoying there is no Apple Watch companion app. These are always very useful.
Good technique is emphasized which is great, but every time you play an exercise demonstration video an annoying background music plays. This drives me crazy - specially if you are listening to your own music. The default setting should be muted!!!
Some exercises are demoed without having to play a video while others are not. All should be demoed in the background.
Sometimes the app requests feedback after a single exercise which is great but sometimes a whole sequence of different exercises go bye before feedback is required. How are you supposed to say exercise A was great but exercise B I couldn’t do?
So too many issues in my opinion. I got the 3 month subscription and I very much doubt I will renew.
So far, it’s great 4/5
Really good workouts, and the difficulty increases/decreases based on previous exercises. It has a nice variety of moves, and a simple, intuitive interface.
The only thing missing is a Watch app so I don’t have to keep looking at my phone constantly when I’m at the gym.
Awsome so far 5/5
Great app workouts are explained, the coach is highly recommended but is free without it, I’ll try the coach when there’s a special hahaha recommended already feeling the burn
Beware cancellation and customer service issues 1/5
Beware - Coach subscription ($90) renews without a reminder, and there is no option to receive a refund. Customer service is unhelpful / very poor. Company is just trying to trap cancelling customers for another year.
NOT FREE AT ALL 1/5

FREE-letics???? Are you kidding me?? More like 89.99-letics...It gives you one poot of a workout then asks for your credit card! Hippocrites!! DONT GET THIS APP
Always promot to subscribe to coach. I am already a subscriber. 2/5
I had a subscription for 12 momths. Meanwhile, I always get prompt to subscribe to coach again and again.
Love this program! 4/5
By Av8r Dave
I’ve been using Freeletics for just over a year. I love the variety and the challenge. No two days are the same. Two things I’d like to see 1) being to “deload” a week if I miss a week or two to acclimate back into it. I’m 44 and I can’t just rebound like I used to. 2) be able to access the warm up and cool down portions separately from a workout. On my rest days, I’d still like to perform these movements to stay limber.
Simply put, if you do t use it why charge you 1/5
By The Alfy
I haven't used the app for over five months. I requested a cancellation and refund and they said they can't refund me. Honestly this is basic customer service. If your customer has NOT used your service WHY THE HELL would you charge them!? Anyway, that's my rant....
