Description

The Game Clocks App provides a complete Game Clock Console on a iPad or iPhone. It is designed to specifically support Netball, ALF, Soccer, Rugby and Hockey, but can be used for other sports. It separately provided synchronised Game Clocks that can be connected to an external display. It also provided standalone Game for use during training. The App has a number of modes of Operation: 1) Master Clock Controller Mode. 2) Slave Game Clock Mode. 3) Standalone Game Clock Mode. The App supports adjustments up or down of the Game Clock, Shot Clock to 10ths of seconds. A game typically needs a Master Clock Controller, and a Game Clock Display. These can be provided by 2 instances of the App, each running on a separate device. Support Game Clock on a external displays. The Clock Console (Master Clock Controller) supports the following actions: (1). Starting the clock (2). Stopping the clock. (3). Resetting the Game Clock within a quarter. (4). Time Adjustment (5). Configuring the Clock with the following attributes: (a) Away Team Name (b) How Team Name (c) Number of 'quarter' periods. (d) Quarter Duration (e) Quarter Time Duration (f) Half Time Duration (i) Number of Extra Time Periods (j) Duration of Extra Time. (k) If Game Clock is displayed on Shot Clock Display. The App uses the Local Network to communicate between the devices to synchronise the clocks. it uses the Network API and Bonjour for communications, it supports up to 9 clusters of devices on a local network(ie subnet, connected to a WIFI router), with the clocks being independently synchronised within each cluster.
