Close, all in one app, except for.. 4/5
I really like the ability to can the food box and add the info. The problem is I can’t edit the carbs, protein, etc on the added food when info is missing or incorrect. Grrr.
Other than that it’s a great app. That’s a major issue for me though
Very good 5/5

Just a couple of weeks of use, but easy to use and editable.

Easy to use and keep track
Awesome App 5/5
By Diabetic Supporter
A loved ones A1C was out of control so I loaded this app on his phone as a device for him to track his carbs but this app is so much more. He can log his activity and it tells him his caloric intake and output. With subscription it tracks his A1C levels which is what we need in this critical time. This app keeps it organized-all in one app. I joined as support to cheer him on and can see his progress as a friend. I highly recommend. Great motivational tool.
Does its job 5/5
It does what I need it to do
Good but I gotta question 4/5
Good for what I need! It’s easy to use and really helps me keep a track of my numbers, I just have a question what does it mean when it says it’s posted to my news feed? Is it just a newsfeed on the app or is it posting to Facebook or something?

This app needs to sync with the OneTouch Reveal meter.
Glucose Buddy made a scary situation easy. 5/5
Four times a day this app is a welcomed source of continuity, inspiration and a desire to learn more about diabetes. This is the ONLY thing that has been easy from the first second I opened the app. May 2018, my 76yo Mom was at the ER. She didn’t know my name, mumbled and had major balance issues. It wasn’t a stroke but the result of her poorly managed T2D. After three weeks split between hospital and a rehab facility, we were back at the ER due to another episode. She was released 3am on Memorial Day with no access to her GP nor regular pharmacy, with confusing/ conflicting scripts for 3 types of insulin, new meds, and a freaked out daughter pretending to be calm. Desperate for an app that would help me, I found this one. The reviews and easy to comprehend screen shots sold me. Even negative or less than stellar reviews seemed to be constructive and many had replies. During this new journey with my Mom, this is the ONLY thing that has been easy. Having no clue what basal or bolus was, I entered her Humalog insulin and began recording. As things settled down and a routine was established, I decided to pay the yearly subscription and dug deeper into what this app offered. Our GP was now on vacation but called and wanted to see Mom’s glucose levels. Mom was prepared to write it all out in an email and was relieved when I simply sent a report from the app. Our GP was relieved and impressed. We’ve since talked more about the app and both like how the simplicity of entering items on the patient’s side doesn’t detract from the detailed report that he as a doctor reads. As I now know what basal and bolus mean, I was able to go back and easily edit previous entries. The more we use this app, the more we are inspired to learn new ways to live with diabetes. This app is now on Mom’s iPhone in addition to mine. She is actively becoming more involved in entering her own information and even prepping and using her glucometer. Glucose Buddy has given her tools and a sense of feeling in control. As she gets three shots of Humalog a day and now uses a Lantus pen at night, this app has helped to establish a routine that has inspired new eating habits. She even carries her iPhone more now than before so she can record her steps. It’s a win win for everyone! We’re all enjoying a healthier Mom that wants to use her iPhone and has it with her for calls and FaceTiming. Thank you!!!
Love this app 5/5
One stop shop for exercise, weight loss, blood sugar monitoring, and weight. Love this app!
Just started using it but seems helpful 5/5
Type 2 diabetic.... 5/5
By great help...
This is a great app! I got diagnosed with type 2 diabetes in October and this app helps me remember what meds I am taking and when. It also helps me decide what I can eat by what my levels are.
Good app. 4/5
Good for tracking for free! Easy to use.
Thank you for developing this app.
For the busy person 5/5
My life is made so much easier by this app. Plug in your numbers and go on.
New to diabetes 2/5
Very easy to use. Disappointed in the limited options without paying. Have been trying other apps and learning more options without paying; have found other apps more useful. Unsure why the app options that are most pertinent are only available for an ungodly fee. Unless fee decreases, I will be utilizing the other app.
I’m finding this app really helpful to track my blood sugar and activity.

This app is great
Can’t delete medications 2/5
I don’t understand why I can’t delete medications. The auto correct on my iPhone changed Lantus to language and I didn’t notice till I saved it. PLEASE HELP I WANT TO DELETE IT!!
Connectivity to steps from Applewatch 4/5
I’m new to this app, however so far so good. I just wish the app was able to track my steps from my Apple Watch and not just the movement from my iPhone. My activity level shows very low with out it.
Terrible! Don’t do it! 1/5
Adds to make you pay! One popped up when I was putting my numbers in, and upgraded me automatically, and I didn't want to. I tried to stop it but it charged me 43.99. Not at all happy!!!!
So Disappointed 1/5
This was once an easy to use method to track my glucose numbers. My Dad who is now 86 has used it for several years; however, the continous ads have made it impossible for him to look at his historical dsta. We even considered premium but the cost is ridiculous. I am now loo k ing for just a simple log that keeps it easy and not frustrating!!
Well done! 5/5

Great app! Very user friendly and intuitive. Lots of usefulness and flexibility.

Didn’t realize the cost was so great. Still have to try for a while before I can give this a better rating.

Knowing that I have my “Buddy” tracking my diet and exercise has kept me on track. I think this app might be just what I’ve needed!
The only downside to this app is that the suggested A1c was 10 points off what my actual A1c was, unless you are constantly monitoring it, it’s not going to be accurate so I’d recommend that be removed. Otherwise this app makes it easy to track , I use 2 different meters so this pulls it all into one spot. Like that you can add pictures and notes
Please add a blood pressure line too!!?
I think is a great app I give it two thumbs up
Helping me to manage 5/5
Used the app for several days now and find it easy to manage food intake, medicine and physical activity. I plan to generate reports to take to my doctor’s appointments. So far, so good!
Very handy and practical.
Good news for tracking numbers 5/5
By Block ll!
I like being able to see both my numbers and a graph.
Glucose buddy 5/5
I really like it. Easy to keep all your numbers together
By momgo gigi
Careful with this app. They have a banners and pop ups that make it easy to inadvertently subscribe to costly
services that you don’t want.
Helps a lot in tracking my glucose readings and my daily walking exercise.
Great app 4/5
This is so easy to use. Helps me keep track of my blood sugar levels. Great app. 👍🏻
Enjoyable App 5/5
Simple and easy to use.
Best app and simple to use makes keeping up with all checks so you will know how sweet you are.
Mostly great, but... 2/5
I mostly love the way it looks and functions. If I only needed it to enter glucose results (and I never had to edit an entry) I would give it 5 stars. But dates in general seem to be an issue. When I add a meal, it doesn’t allow me to set the entry time. It appears to use the time from the last entry of the same food. But when I edit the entry it shows a completely different time.

There is a Big Difference Between Paying for Something of that is Well Made & Being Extorted 1/5
By Usually Pretty Frazzled
I couldn’t agree with MommaHippi more. This app used to be something special. Something I would have paid for because it was worth it back then. But I wasn’t asked. I wasn’t warned. The app was just suddenly changed, and I discovered that if I wanted my information I would be charged a substantially large fee for it. I’ve given the new app a chance, but find myself becoming upset when I try to use it. Now it’s just like all the other apps that do the same thing - but the interface is ugly and confusing. Developers do this to themselves and their customers a lot these days. It must be profitable. I’m going back to paper and pencil.
PS - I don’t recall my user name being “usually pretty frazzled”.
Maybe I’m just old 5/5

Liked it better before they changed to subscription . The app still lets me chart my glucose which is why I use it. Don’t know why they want my location that’s not why I use the map and don’t need s drain on my battery life .
Glucose Buddy 5/5
Great app tracks all importantnt data.
Good App 4/5
Pretty happy with this app. I wish the reports were easier to print and read. I just had a check up and my A1c was within .3 of GB’s estimate which is easily explained by the fact I don’t test regularly. Good app overall.
Glucose Buddy 5/5
Works great for me! I’ve been tracking with GB for 4 months now & doing very well. It’s easy to use, has great features. I export my data to Excel & report that way. My Dr likes the reporting. All works very well for me.
Worst ever 1/5
What a rip-off. The time stamp for recording food intake does not work. I paid $33.00 for nothing. Oh I f your color blind it won’t work for you. Now comes the worst part. When you paid for the one year it then let’s you know that it will be recurring. I have never written a review like this before and if I can’t get better information before I purchase another app for diabetes then I won’t buy it.
Was a Great App! 2/5
Easy to use. Love the graph! I can print out my logs to take to the doctor with me.
I would pay a one-time fee to upgrade, but I never, ever pay for an app monthly or annually. The interface is much more complicated and more difficult to use. And why would I want to share my blood sugars on social media?!?! Scary that this could accidentally be shared.
Can’t find the Log. Used to be so easy to see and use. I would pay a one-time fee to upgrade, but a $40 annual fee? 🤣
New version is a mess 1/5
Old app was a good one, but their new update is a mess of Ads and not user-friendly interface.
Glucose Buddy helped me :) 5/5
By A not rich person
Glucose Buddy is so simple to use, and I won’t lose it like my paper tracker. I will probably upgrade to their premium version later.
By awsom ta
This app is totally broken when you purchase the upgrade, can’t addd inputs it just stays on purchase screen, would give zero stars if it was available, don’t wast your $2.99 dollars .
Glucose Buddy 1/5
Don’t buy this. It’s a scam. Won’t refund money even if u flat cancel.
Love it 5/5
Sorry, but it does too much. 2/5
I’m leaving Glucose Buddy because it has become a hovering nanny that needs to be paid to leave me alone to simply record my blood sugar. I brought my levels down for two years, but an illness and steroids shot it back up. I need to track for at least a month - just glucose, not food, exercise, contact friends, post on social media - and this hovering/selfie-ad infested app just doesn’t do it. If a nanny is needed, this app will fill the bill and for just a few dollars a month all the things I don’t need/want are available.
By Pam jf
I thought by the star rating and the claim to be the top for 9 years that this would be a great addition to tracking my health. Once I downloaded it and opened it I found I could not use it as the description said unless I bought the premium. I can not afford $40 bucks. Very disappointed.
