It does what it’s supposed to do
  • THE BEST 5/5

Of all the apps I have tried before, this one is the absolute best!
  • its good 5/5

  • An okay app 3/5

    By Big Saint John
This app replaces my excel spreadsheet for tracking my blood sugar readings. I can track my meals as well, but it can be cumbersome if you eat something not already in the system. It can be convenient for seeing how many carbs are in your meal. Outside of that, the free version doesn’t have any other features that appeal to me. The constant countdown for the “last chance” is rather irritating. If it truly was the last chance, then why do I have to see it several times a week?
  • Great app — no bugs 5/5

    By mikemartines
I’ve been using the app for over a year and haven’t had any major issues with it. It’s stable and helpful. I do wish it provided more analytical data capability, but it is good for tracking carbs it even recognizes food when you take a picture. It has recognized every barcoded item I’ve tried and lets you reuse items you’ve already scanned and even input your own recipes. It can always use more enhancements like the data analyzing capability I mentioned and a better recipe building capability and salad or sandwich building capability.
  • Can’t contact, can’t fix date 2/5

    By Ms Hume
Has info I never put in, today’s date is 5/13/2020, entered today’s info date shows Dec 1969 I’ll get another
  • Great app but has one flaw. 5/5

    By Bubblechader
I have been using this app for some time now. I tapped all to see what was on the list. However, I was not able to go back to the main page. I lost all my readings that was needed to keep track of in order to bring my glucose down.
  • Best app ever! But... 5/5

    By Raekitten
I’d actually reviewed this before, under the username raekitten. (Not sure why the App Store isn’t simply letting me edit my other review.) Anyway, this is by far the best and most helpful app I’ve ever used. There seems to be a glitch, though. I can’t open it. The screen will pop up for literally half a second, then close. I tried restarting my phone, twice, as well as deleting the app and downloading it again. Nothing works. I’m not sure if this is an app problem or a phone problem (I have an oh phone 11, if that helps.) Anyway that’s it, it’s served me so well that I hope this problem will be solved.
  • Good while it works but it keeps crashing 2/5

Now all my info is hostage in an app that Shuts down before I can transport it out of there
  • Excellent! 5/5

Excellent app with a great database of foods.
  • Steps 3/5

I enjoy the app but wish steps would not automatically come up. I use a Fitbit and have to delete the automatic step counter every day
  • 7 Day Free Trial- Not 1/5

Hi! I agreed to a 7 day free trial and then $59.99 yearly. I was charged right away. What happened to my free trial? Also $71.99 came out of my account not $59.99. Something is seriously wrong.
  • Great app 5/5

    By hikingran
Great aid in tracking my BG
  • Mostly good, but a very annoying “feature” 3/5

    By techdavis
Every couple of days, it asks if is use the same dosage every time for my insulin. Every time I say “no”. It doesn’t ever remember and asks again. I change my dosage depending on my blood sugar, and while I sometimes have 2 or 3 days of the same, it is not an all the time the same thing. If it were, I would not need an ap to track it! Please just stop!
  • Easy to use 5/5

    By LT 1
Very easy to use and gives you a weekly average. Glad I ordered it.
  • Glucose Buddy is a huge help as I was recently Type 2-diagnosed 5/5

    By gmaynetwalk
Tracks a lot of stats I can generate a report on and send to my doctor.
  • Does the job 5/5

    By ke4ppi
I use the paid app and I am impressed. Interfaces with my other health apps seamlessly.
  • Useful app 3/5

    By Zen the Ducky
Works well. On the main screen we should see the week instead of the day. Or have the option to switch. I know you can do it by switching screens but that’s a BAD experience.
  • Ads!!!!! 1/5

    By T13-burger
Too many ads. Once you decline or X out, don’t show them again! Thanks for listening, I hope.
  • Dismal 1/5

    By Modern Jess
Paid for a year subscription. Had to delete and re-install the app (after the app decided to duplicate every single one of my glucose readings) and now the app doesn’t recognize the subscription. So I’m out $40. You would think there would be a “restore purchase” button, but if it’s there, I can’t find it.

Wish I had this App along time ago.!
  • Find something else 1/5

    By billfla
This would be a good app. I paid for the full version about a year ago. They made some improvements after making some errors. But STOP trying to sell me stuff. I paid for the app! The latest round of trying to sell me something with a button that sits in front of everything else and doesn’t go away and won’t allow you to simply reject their selling attempt is absolutely ridiculous. Not only is it annoying that it’s right in FYI t of you but it’s located right where your thumb would enter information so inadvertently you click it. THEN everyday it has a message asking if you want to continue reading!! I didn’t want it in the first place and I’m so sick and tired of the annoying button I’m going to a different app.
  • So Easy 5/5

    By QueeMJD
Easy to use glucose tracking. I track to see what foods effect me negatively. I tried several and this is the BEST!
  • Great app 4/5

    By I got mine!
This app is great for tracking my blood sugars and blood pressure. It’s lacking the basic counters for calories and carbohydrates. If you want to pay for them you can but it should be included! That’s why I gave it a 4 out of 5 stars.

I have found Glucose Buddy to be a great app for keeping track of my glucose readings 24/7/365. I have tried other glucose app, but also returned to Glucose Buddy. Now it’s the only app I’ll use. Love the new format.

I like it. It helps me keep track
  • Inpen support 4/5

    By Bigheadhendricks
When will Inpen or Libre (or both)be added as a linked device? Love the reports but need more linkable devices other than Dexcom
  • Easy to use 5/5

    By ATLBarb63
Easy to use and track. Works on both my iPad and phone, so I can track on either.
  • Good 4/5

    By AKKWoody
I’m doing a lot better eating the right foods. This app has a lot of good features. I don’t know if I’m doing it wrong but it would be nice if I could search by restaurant menu. I type Pepsi I should see all the products and I don’t Arby’s I should see the items they have.
  • Change of format and lacking support 2/5

    By $$$&6543
I used GlucoseBuddy for years and was quite happy with it. Then the developer changed the format so that it was not possible to enter decimal points on medication dosages. When I tried to contact support, I found out out that there is no way to contact the developer! Bad form!
  • Amazingly helpful but a couple bugs. 4/5

    By mayor079
I was just diagnosed with type 2 diabetes about a month ago. This has been amazing in helping me keep track of my numbers, meds, and more. My original issue I figured out was something I was doing. The issue I have now is with the new feature involving the medicine being saved to make logging it easier. When you first put in the meds to keep them for each time, it doesn’t allow you to put in a decimal. You can edit the medicine each time after you save it. I also noticed that you can’t set the frequency to something like once a week. Another issue is that my weight logs that I do daily and my weight in Insights are not linked. I often, usually a couple times a week, I will open insights and I’m asked to update my records. This happens even though I just input my weight hours prior. Hope this helps, these are the only issues I have seen. Otherwise I would give this 5 stars.
  • Crappy App 1/5

    By KB-Partha
There are so many issues, even the premium version. 1) The support link generates an Error 404. Ao, pretty much you can even reach the developer to submit your problem 2) The integration with Dexcom keeps failing to sync with a message “Sync Failed”. No error or anything. Tried deleting disconnecting the integration and re-adding to no avail. Plus, you can’t reach anyone from support. So, it is useless to get reads from Dexcom 6 CGM 3) Apple Health has no trouble syncing from Dexcom. Upon navigating to this app to see if it can sync from Apple Health app, they provide garbage instructions to open Health App —> Source —> Glucose Buddy. There is no such option in Apple Health app to send data from Apple Health to this app. Overall, it is a crappy app with no support options.

I found that I was required to enter an email. Oh, you say you aren’t going to sell it or use it for your own purposes? Then don’t require me to enter it!!
  • Super easy!!! 5/5

    By AyeCee281
I was diagnosed last year with Type 2 diabetes and this app has helped me get and keep my BG levels in check!!! Love the fact that it has the ability to help you track your diet and other changes. Amazing app, glad I’ve got it, it’s a much needed help!!!
  • Great app 5/5

    Works like a charm
  • Very pleased 5/5

    By missouririverrat
Great app. Very helpful with day to day tracking.
  • Saving medication 5/5

    By chelseapug48
The ability to save medication doses in the last update is great except for one thing. I no longer have access to the decimal point so my medication can’t be entered correctly. Can you please fix that?
  • Destroyed by new update 1/5

    By Azchrist
The update a day ago allowing one to save the name and dosages of meds worked, but then made it impossible to actually log each med when used. Something left out of the update?
  • User friendly 4/5

    By ShareAlegria
Requested developer to add capability to enter values in kilos/grams/meters AND pounds:libras: once’s. Wish it would also track other vitals that re useful for medical reports
  • Difficult to receive support 1/5

    By jwhoberry1123
I was initially excited to have this app because it seemed to have it all! Exercise log, data sync, nutrition, weight management, etc. I was most excited to have the ability to sync my Dexcom! I made the premium purchase and.... have yet to have my Dexcom sync. I have tried several times and nothing each time. I attempted to find support for this issue. Stuff happens right? I attempted to get support through the app and revive an error via that way and then tried via the website and am prompted to purchase or have two weeks free of another application in order to receive support for it. I have tried several times to receive support and I have not been able to do so. It has rendered the application and premium purchase completely useless to me.
  • Feedback Review because Support Page “Not Found” through link 3/5

    By TNMBo
    1. My steps do not sync with my watch and are off by over 1,200-1,500 everyday. The rest syncs perfectly. 2. Quick Add will not allow me to enter Carbs nor will it allow me to save without adding Carbs. For example I had black coffee that couldn’t be found in the Search. I opted for Quick Add and manually entered the information. It was 0 carbs per the info online (barcode unavailable). I entered 0. I went to save and an error popped up to enter carbs. I entered 0 again. Same message. I tried entering 1 to move on and it would not allow me to enter any number other than the 0 that was not accepted either.
  • A true life saver AND time saver!! 5/5

    By JNCNJ17
This app is excellent for all types of diabetics. It has an exceptional system for documenting meals, meds taken, and blood glucose levels. I am NOT tech savvy and I have been able to easily navigate this app. Within 3 days of using it I upgraded- it was worth every cent. There is even an A1C “predictor” as to what u might expect on your bloodwork.... I will have to come back in 2 months to let you know how close it was! Easy bar code scanning feature to document foods. Easy to document what you eat. A true life & time saver for me.
  • Quirky and limited customer support. 2/5

    By Telejoke
This app is useable, but a bit quirky. It has limited customer support in the form of a brief FAQ and limited knowledge base. They offer a few additional features for up to $59.95, and they auto renew without notice or any discernible way to cancel auto renew. After auto renewing, your premium service shuts down and you have to contact support (you can find the email address on their website about page). I requested they update my account status or refund the money. If I can find out how to cancel auto renewal, I will do it. Otherwise, I’ll report them to my bank and request a block on future charges as suspected fraud.

  • App won’t work! 1/5

    By DOUBLEG1972
I’ve been reading the good reviews and I was looking forward to trying the app unfortunately it won’t load or stay open. It keeps shutting down. I want this to work as it looks like it is exactly what I’m looking for!
  • Cost? 4/5

    By Jomattsing.
Great app and service. However I wish the full glucose reports were available for printing without paying for the app.
