    I find Go Bank to be very useful. It’s the easiest way to transfer money between family and friends. It goes through as fast as sending an email. No monthly fees with a direct deposit of five hundred or better a month. Get paid two days earlier with direct deposit. Pay bills online easily. I’m a die hard Go Bank customer all the way. Maybe you should try it, there will be no reason your not happy.

    It’s ok as a secondary account. I can direct deposit Uber earnings and funds are available immediately. But a simple check deposit wasn’t available for 8 days and customer service reps aren’t much help at all. Haven’t deposited any source besides rideshare earnings and a small check.

    It’s great if you drive Uber, but the customer service is the worst. They screwed up my direct deposit, and the app is a pile of garbage. I can’t even turn fingerprint back on because it doesn’t recognize my password, yet it lets me sign in with it. WHAT A JOKE Oh and did I mention they show that you can deposit checks but that’s a lie. You have to wait x amount of days and even then they still might not take a check. Why can’t you guys just take them and hold them until they clear. Over all crappy company, very misleading and well below standards of today’s modern options.

    We’ve had our accounts hacked twice in a row and they have taken over two weeks to refund the money that was stolen. Both times have been over $1000 in repeating charges in the middle of the night. No notifications or flagging irregular activity. This is ridiculous. This bank doesn’t keep track of your purchases or activity for security. Now we’ve been told they “will call us back” and they have not for several hours. We will be closing our accounts ASAP. Find a bank that actually protects your money, folks.

    I have a case in court where I need to bring proof of an ATM withdrawal I did. Checked my GoBank mobile app and the date / time that appears on my transactions is not consistent with when I physically made the ATM withdrawal. Checked the monthly banking statement for that particular month / day and same thing. Called and spoke to a representative from GoBank and the rep. told me that it shows up as 12:00A.M., had to request a supervisor and a manager and eventually the higher ups told me that they have access to my records on a separate system / computer which is accurate and they had the information I needed. I said great thank god and can you email it to me at my email? The answer I got was only if your law enforcement / a lawyer. I scratched my head wondering why I need to work in law enforcement / need to be a lawyer to access basic banking information that should be made readily available to me regardless of the situation since it’s my personal account and I’m the one requesting it but anyways I offered to give my lawyers business e-mail and they still wouldn’t send the requested document. I asked to speak to their legal department and was told they don’t have one. For starters I worked at a big bank for over 5+years and I know for a fact a financial institution has lawyers and a legal department, the fact that I was denied that right and lied to speaks to the way they do business. I really don’t know how their classified as a bank. They probably are meeting the bare minimum to be classified as a Financial Institution.

    Not bad customer service, just NO customer service. It’s impossible to get someone on the phone. They don’t have an email monitored by humans. It’s all automated. That’s fine until you have a problem and then you’re screwed big time. You can write a letter, but they won’t answer. Stay away!

    I totally fell unsecured using stupid Go Bank debt card. There are lot of issues regarding banking with Go Bank. Unauthorized transaction are common and with trying to disputes they don’t take the issues seriously. Even ever time when call about dispute they say my disputes is complete and get my money back within one business day. But when I email to customer support representative they always told me they forwarded my issues with senior supervisor which is totally nonsense and annoying. One of the guy call me outside US pretending he is senior supervisor and want me to scam asking my social and personal information. Warning ⚠️ never trust them and always file complaint with FTC and you will get help from them. Scammers Scammers Scammers. Say no to Scammers!

    I’ve been using this app for three weeks now and have been quite impressed with the options available and how easy they have made it to use. I do wish that they had a separate feature for Uber drivers, One that would allow any and all additional savings that you earn to go into a separate savings section, such as the 5% you save on gas and the additional savings from grocery stores, etc. it would be nice to have all those additional savings to go into a separate account to build just like a regular savings account. Why am I mentioning this here, because unless I missed it that is one feature that they do not have on their app, a suggestion box or any area where you can provide questions or feedback of any kind. Other than that, great app!

    Seems like they take forever to get back to you and even when they do they don’t ever have a great response. Also the verification to transfer to other bank accounts doesn’t seem to work. I’ve tried a few times and they never sent anything so I could verify. I hope they can improve their software so that more can be done through the app because so far I can barely do anything other than just seeing how much money I have.

    I’m an Uber driver and loved the app and card until I received a message that my card had been reported lost or stolen. I had not reported my card lost it stolen. I tried to use it and it was declined. I had over $450 on it. I called customer service and was told that the replacement was automatic and my card was inactive and I would receive my new card in 2 weeks!!! I had been saving money for my grandkids birthdays which are In less than 2 weeks. I think it’s awful that without any warning they would just turn off my card. I’ve been using the app and card for 3 years and had never had a problem with it before. The least they could do would be overnite me a new card. Very unprofessional.

    I have used this bank for many years but no more!!! I’m so disappointed!! Be careful!! Recently my debit card expired and I needed a new one sent to me. I never got it... TWICE!!! They told me our would take 7-10 business days to receive my card. The first replacement card never arrived... waited a few extra days in case it arrived because if you order a new card they void the one they sent and mail another. I NEVER GOT MY CARD!! So I call infuriated and demanded to speak to a supervisor! Worst customer service in the world! I spoke with Giselle and she flat out refused to connect me to her supervisor. And also refused to tell me her supervisor’s name. Argued with her for an hour then hung up and called back, told them my situation and was connected to a supervisor immediately. He assured me that the first one was mailed and I had the option of ordering a second card..... so I did.... I never received that one either. It’s been a month and I still don’t have my debit card. I’ve been having to send money to friends using the PayPal feature on the app in order to gain access to my own money. You can’t pay all bills on there either. And also, in the PayPal feature, I sent $100 and it took it from my account but it never made it to the recipient. Usually there is an email notification that I sent funds via the GoBank app but I never got one. So I had to send the money again. It’s very inconsistent. And when the app is updating you can’t move money from your vault at all so be careful when you’re out to dinner with friends and need to access your vault to pay for dinner. It literally locks you out during maintenance. It’s embarrassing to tell your friends that you can’t move money around to pay for your meal. I’ve had to ask them to pay when the app locks me out. All these issues have only been happening in the past few months but I’ve had enough. Not being able to access my own money for a month has pushed me to the point of hating this company. They do not know how to treat their customers. Worst customer service. Worst app ever!! They also told me that if I were to close my account it would take another 2 weeks to get a check with my remaining balance... that will probably never arrive as well.... Going to PayPal the remaining funds in my account to a friend and opening a real bank account.

    I only have had one issue so far, a Walmart charge issue where they double charged me for a pick up order, wasn’t a big deal because I did have the additional funds to cover it, however GoBank still has that charge in pending for the last 12 days. They said it’s set to clear on September 28th. Which would be exactly 2 weeks. That is a little frustrating as most brick and mortar banks drop off pending charges after the next business day. Overall, I really like it and the cash back on gas and Walmart has given me quite a bit back!

    Would be great if the app let us stash “the cashback” in the vault. That way we can have saved from the cashback change we get from participating stores. I love ❤️ this bank because it is easier than others, I also pay some bills and do transfers from or to another bank. Oh, and I love the cashback from stores and gas stations 🥰 Thanks.

    This bank has failed to support their customers. I was at home one day about 6 months ago trying to make a purchase on Amazon when I was done I figured it cleared but then I received a email a couple minutes later say that my transaction was put on hold due to insufficient funds. Now I know how much money was in my account because I just checked it. Some how a transaction was made in another city at the same time I was at home in a different city I watch my account drop numbers from $75.(cents) to $0.00. This company told me that I wouldn’t not be able to receive my money back because I was the one who made the purchase then they lost paperwork that I had to mail in (like what bank makes you mail a dispute in, in 2019 🤷🏻‍♀️) this service was horrible. After the first investigation the company did it cam back the same then I did maybe two more disputes after but still the same result. This is sad and the support for the customers are very poor I’m now thinking about taking this matter to civil court because I see I’m not the only one that has experience such hardships with this company. I advise you to not sign up for an account with “GO Bank UBER”. Don’t do it the recovery fraud department is horrible I don’t think they even do what they say their doing. I feel that they don’t want to do the work so they don’t instead just make it seem like the work is being done. Best, Jasmin C

    When you deposit a check over say $200 but below $1000.00, an in state, Government drawn check, it takes 5 days to clear with no funds released in between ? Worse yet is if you are unaware of this and immediately try to cancel the deposit, you are stuck and GoBank tells you tough luck. I opened an account with Chime today after this nonsense.

    Let me just put it this way: I work at a bank and use this as my primary bank. Why? Because most banks (unethically) generate most of their fee revenue from the customers with the least money. Most popular fee is the overdraft fee. Just because I work at a bank doesn’t mean I support this practice of overdraft fees. We all need a job and I am no different. I am a lowly CSR and I am not in a position to change the bank’s policies. If I could, I would certainly do like GOBANK does and eliminate overdraft fees. The “ASAP DIRECT DEPOSIT” is also a major reason I love GOBANK. Who doesn’t like getting their paycheck early? Plus I think it’s kind of fun checking my app and seeing my early paycheck twice a month. Things I wish would improve are earlier funds availability for depositing a check, especially if you have been an established customer for a while with a good history at GOBANK. The Wal-Mart cashiers are the WORST when it comes to depositing cash. They never know how to do it. I have found that going to Customer Service or the Money Center works much better. The only problem I’ve encountered with this account it some companies consider it a “prepaid account” and I can’t use it for online bill pay on the biller’s website. But I can use GOBANK’s bill pay service to pay them and so far that’s worked out ok. Overall, 9 out of 10... again as a bank employee I highly (and secretively!) recommend this account over “traditional banking”. Don’t let the regular banks eat up your hard earned money in overdraft fees. Remember, regular banks will ALSO charge you an overdraft fee even if they RETURN your item! GOBANK gets it.

    It’s so hard to log in. I’ve had this app for 2 weeks and have only been able to log in 4x. It’s very frustrating not being able to just go online and view my account. This bank needs to upgrade their system, the online bank doesn’t load either. Once I’m able to log in again I’m removing my $$ and closing this account.

    I’m so sick of this bank! Their system is always crashing and it’s so hard to get a hold of your own money! When you try calling them it’s like a 40-60 minute wait to get on the phone with someone and it seems like I always talk to the same lady!!! Also don’t loose your card!! This bank isn’t supported by Apple Pay so you have no way of using your money. I claimed my card stolen on aug 22 And I’m not getting it till sept 2nd! Other banks only take 2-3 days to get a new replacement. They don’t care about you not having your hands on your own money! The only good thing about this bank is you get early direct deposit but even that is starting to act up and they say it’s supposedly due to my “employer” so I don’t get my money till later. This bank is crap idk how a company like Uber can partner up with this unprofessional; unorganized bootleg bank! You’re better off getting a real branch that is professional and reliable with your money!!!!
