Highly recommended 5/5
Excellent golfing tool for course layout, yardage. Very well organized, excellent graphics. Highly recommended.
Great app but issues on the watch 5/5
By Vette 03
I’ve been using the app for a few years. It’s worked well, accurate distances and have used both my watch and iPhone. But about the time I updated to iOS 13 and watch OS 6.0 the watch stopped advancing automatically through the entry screens. I’ve deleted the app and downloaded it twice and restarted both my watch and phone. I’ve also unpaired and repaired my watch to no avail.
Please get this fixed soon.
Don’t purchase premium!!! 1/5
I purchased premium and it never worked!! Contacted support once and it worked for a partial round then kept asking me to update to premium. Paid for 2 months with no refund!!!
Don’t get this app!!!! 1/5
By retarted system
Downloaded app and paid for upgrade, it never upgraded after multiple uses. Contacted customer support and they said not there problem to contact apple. But still are trying to charge monthly.
poor support for apple watch 1/5
apple watch stopped working with app over a month ago and support has no answers for me... 🤷🏻♂️ been a subscriber for 4 years and have well over 300 rounds on app. TIRED of emailing and calling tech support. Is there a better app out there???
Real Nice but room for improvement 4/5
Very good app. I highly recommend. I just wish the developer would allow downloading the data so I could analyze my play over weeks, months. I like graphs, this could be an awesome improvement. For now I can give 4 stars.
This app does not work 1/5
I bought this app specifically to use with my iwatch and it did not work. Would not sync with my phone and the app hung on my watch for the entire round. I figured I did something wrong and tried again today and the same thing happened. Extremely disappointing.
Great app 3/5
Great app but many courses do not have over view or approach and putt. When those features are there great app
It’s a hit 5/5
Great program and very accurate!
Rip-off - Will Not Support Credit 1/5
The app didn’t work, drained my phone and within 24 hours of starting a Premium Membership, I’m out $49.99. No credit and no recourse.
Don’t make the same mistake. Signup with a credit card so you can stop payment if your not satisfied like me. Couldn’t give it a zero rating or I would have.
P.S. this made my Bushnell rangefinder and existing GPS that much more valuable.
Bogie baller 5/5

Really enjoy the app - it works great as a freebie, but the optional green slopes are wonderful!
It’s ok, not exactly what I want 3/5
I enjoy the availability of courses. And I like that it works on my Apple Watch..... however my 2 main problems with this app:
1) it tells you that it has a shot distance tracker, false. You can input your own distances for the clubs within your bag.
How to fix it: this could easily be fixed by adding a measure shot button. It could open up a list for what club you’re using, drop a pin where you are, then when you get try the ball, measure. Then add options to cancel, or define the path or type of shot; hook, slice, fade, draw, topped, Chip, pitch, punch, etc...
2) my watch app keeps messing up, when I press the score for the whole it used to go to the next option of number of putts and direction of drive. Now it just gets stuck on score.
How to fix it: no idea, not a programmer.
Strong Golf Assistant 4/5
By FS Brian
This app works well on the iPhone but a bit less functionality on the Apple Watch, which is why I give it only four stars. The fairway maps are quite accurate for even obscure locations. Unfortunately, it does not have the greens where I am in Africa. I am confident all the developed world is covered.
Simplicity is Genius 5/5
Simple to use, setup and go. Fantastic app that has everything any golfer would possible need.
Good app for me - ( I’ve not compared it to other telephone based gps’s)
Not 5 star 3/5
Shows incorrect yardages and recommendations from support has not been helpful. Changed from Aireal view to artist view as recommended and I deleted the app and reloaded and app is still showing incorrect yardage display.
Putting app 3/5
By bbbbb bbbb bbb bbbbb
Putting app very difficult to use. Just big picture breaks would be best. Hard to accurately place your ball on green picture.
Be aware of being double charged 2/5
The app itself works well, but when you upgrade and pay from iTune, they don’t automatically stop the subscription of the old plan and don’t tell you anything about it. I ended up being double charged for two years and GolfLogix refused to issue refund insisting it’s iTune’s problem when they should be responsible at least to remind you. I downgraded my plan in the end.
Good app 5/5
Great app to keep score. Most of the time yardages are accurate.
This thing is crazy 5/5
Honestly, this shouldn’t be free. It gives advice on which club to use, and tells exactly how far you hit/are from the hole. Will be using this much more often.
Nice app 5/5
By coach hulse
Haven’t used it in the course yet
I love the graphics though
By Yams dad
It would be 5 stars if one could select the tees you’re playing. Black, white, red. It should be selectable.
I played Encino golf coarse yesterday and used the app for every whole and compared every shot with my golf
My range finder with fresh new batteries and every shot distance was off between 5-14 yards.
Not happy 1/5
App ate iPhone battery- have cancelled 3 months in a row and still getting charged. Don’t believe them when they say you can cancel at any time. Really like the old golf logic product still use every round. When you call golflogix to cancel they say to cancel app- catch 22.
Approach and Putt Features 5/5
Here’s a suggestion you’ve probably heard before... Why not partner with the ezLocator app so GolfLogix had the current pin positions? I switch back in forth between the 2 apps which is a pain. If Golf Logix included the current pin positions, one could, among other things, (1) On approach shots, visually show the area of green “below the hole”, (2) On putting, it would be more precise than placing your finger on the green/screen where you “think” the pin is (which if off by even 3-4 feet can make a huge difference on the speed/break.
Love this app
Full-Featured On Apple Watch 2, Amazing Support 5/5
Tried them all before settling on Golfshot Pro. After 5 mostly satisfied years, that app started behaving very squirrelly so went looking for a replacement.
My priority is to be able to do it all on my Apple Watch, and GolfLogix meets my expectations in that regard.
Golflogix’s support blew me away. First day, noticed maps, bunker locations,
and distances for my home course were outdated. (Course had had a major overhaul two years ago.). Filed an error report through the app ... with low expectations.
Had an email reply within 12 hours promising a quick fix. Updated course data appeared the next day.
By the way, my growing problems with Golfshot were fixed by purging app from my phone then reinstalling. Still, I am sticking with GolfLogix as it’s distances seem to update more quickly on my watch. Other features are largely identical
Do hope they get the green-reading data for my home course - now only available through a $700 app.
Golf Logix 4/5
By Eddy Lekkerkerk
I love golf Logix I love the features that it has I hope they will be able to post scores into your handicap official index soon
Really good but not great 4/5
I have found errors with course information such as the par scoring being wrong or flip flopped on holes. There should be a way for a user to custom manage scorecards and edit the par value when errors are found or any other info. Or a way to submit errors for review. Only thing I found was to ask for approach and 3D putting info to “maybe be added someday”. Also when a course is under repair and some holes are closed and you have to play some holes a second time for 18 holes you should be able to do this but cannot without ending the round and starting a new round. Otherwise I’m very happy with the app. Performs well for tracking score and shot tracking.
A couple of initial issues. 3/5
Just downloaded the app and purchased a 1 month subscription. One of the reasons I upgraded was to set pin positions in advance. The only way I see to do that is on the hole view but although I saved the location it does not appear on the approach or putting view which is where you really need it. Is that a bug? Otherwise the current function is pretty much useless.
Also the update notes say you can turn off the instructions in approach and putting modes, but I don’t see how to do that.
I haven’t used this on the course yet but looking at courses I play regularly it looks quite promising. At this point my rating is lower because of the things I mentioned.
By Murieta Mel
Would like to see a feature where you can add notes when playing holes that you can reference in future rounds at that course.
That would be awesome. I was going here just to suggest such a thing. Also an easier way to edit mistakes would be nice.
Overall this app is off the charts!!!!

Show in iPhone workouts. 4/5
I wish the app would record in my iPhone workouts.
By Christina Vas
It is a great app, but takes a while to load when first using. Plus, in order to use the “good” stuff you have to pay 50 bucks a year.

Doesn’t work 30.00 for nonsense
No website fix
Don’t waste your time
Used to be good but now it’s messed up 1/5
By Her doc
I had this and liked it in the past. Went to a new course this weekend so I thought I’d download the app again - what a mess! It kept giving me yardages to places way off the fairway with no evident way to reset. I couldn’t get scores to enter. And it kept showing yardages off the tee with a six iron. Approach view is too hard to look at. Wish I hadn’t wasted the money - glad I just did one month snd not an annual membership
I have been using this program for some time and like it a lot. The problem I am having is related to my new iPhone XS. I usually shut the phone off and put it in my pocket after I get my yardages. The new phone has the off button on the right side and a volume button on the left. Sometimes when pushing the right button I also push the opposing button, guess what, that takes a screen shot. No big deal you say. If I got the yardages to the green when that happens I get a warning from the software I have violated the terms of the agreement by taking a screenshot. This has happened twice this year and the warning said if I do it again I may lose my privilege of using their software. Will I remember never to try and shut the phone off after viewing the green? I am sure I will forget someday and the software will somehow cease to work. How will this end? Sounds like a dilemma.
Checked yards on golf logic compare to range finder real real close
Phone Numbers 3/5
Should have phone numbers for golf club.
Love it 5/5
All the courses I’ve played all over the U.S. are on here. Great graphics and accurate yardage measures. But the best part for my money is the club tracker feature. Just about every stat you’ll want to keep is there for the analysis at the end of the round.
Great app for judging distance to the green. 5/5
I use the GolfLogix app every week during golf season and I love it. The free app only allows you a distance to the center of the green and no slope reading, but it’s very useful for those in between distances to help with club selection and has the ability to track scoring and handicaps. I highly recommend this app.
I bought the one month offer for a family golf trip and on both days the app stopped after 9 holes and then locked me out. Don’t know how to get a refund is possible because the app looked promising
Tweak it a little... 4/5
I really like this app, but I wish it was more like a range finder, and we could get the actual distances to the pins through the camera. It seems like a relatively easy fix...
Golf logic is like having a caddy with you. Excellent information & distance for each of my clubs is very important to me as I play less & less so I need a reminder about how far I hit the ball. I highly recommend the golf logic app!!
Best Golf App. 5/5
By Grip and Rip Macomb Twp
I really like this app. Been using it for 6 years and will not use another one!
Putting features need instructions. 1/5
Another and likely my last update.
August 21, 2019
Everything previously stated holds. No instructions on putting use. Tried the monthly subscription in effort to try to learn to use feature, cancelled in order to avoid wasting $. Today features were padlocked. Features that I had been using and paying for for years were locked and all I could do was get a gps read to center of the green and keep score. Plus every time I opened the app I was deluged with ads.
Range finder and score card - Bushnell and card stock - work fine, low tech but no battery drain and no feeling like a victim of bad sex. Done. Done. Finished. Would not use this unless they paid me to and hired Blair O’Neal to handle the app. My apologies to Ms. O’Neal.
Okay. Another update. July 20,2019.
Played a round today- putting improved once I stopped trying to use the app. You place your ball on the green in the app and are instructed to draw a line from it to the hole then make adjustments if needed then press NEXT. A couple of lines appear with detailed information re where to aim how far to hit, etc. details expressed in units as small as an inch or ball width. It seems that without the ability to PRECISELY locate the pin in the app there is little value to putting information to an inaccurate hole location.
Update to my previous reviews. I am now a Plus member and played my first round with the upgrade features. First note is improved screen content. I have been unable to find any instructional materials for the putting feature neither on the GolfLogix site nor on Google. YouTube has promotional videos but no how to clips. So at this point I am thinking somebody must know and could help lots of golfers by sharing knowledge. Meanwhile use a practice green to avoid unpleasant moments in a busy round.
Imagine my surprise!! Latest update made it much easier to read while imputing score & stats. Have to agree with another reviewer that it would be better to be able to see a complete 9 on the scorecard. Would mean smaller font but only for the scorecard & not as small as before.
Still my favorite app for golf.
Three stars is both generous and also, perhaps not deserved. I use an iPhone 6s+, a day ago I tried to use the putt breaks feature but could not see or read the screen clearly enough to even mark my ball. Now that may well be a problem with the phone rather than the app. Regardless of where the deficiency lies the result was that the feature wasn’t usable. If I knew the app was primarily responsible I would have given it two stars but because the phone likely shares responsibility I gave the three stars.
I’ve used the app for several years and generally found it useful. I would appreciate the ability to be able to see or access the whole scorecard during a round. I also have had the app end my round without my input so it would be nice if there was a way to keep that from happening or a way to return to active play.
Simple to use Golf App 4/5
This app is just fine for a round. It has every course I've played. Easy to use, distances are accurate.
Need more demos 4/5
Please add a way to see demos before playing.
Wants to keep refreshing, so when you need it it’s not svailable.
Ball position on green 5/5
Contour on green is great but trying to locate ball position and pin position is difficult. Be easy if gps could locate ball while standing over the ball and locate pin by straddling the hole.
