  • Crashing after less than a minute of typing 4/5

    By Webhead2314
It keeps on crashing exclusively on my Ipad after less than a minutes of me typing. It its still pretty great when it has working properly, I still use it in other devices and I’m not having problems with them, just in my ipad. I’m uppdating my apps all the time so, please fix this soon.
  • Would like a watch complication 4/5

    By 970038
Works great, but would like to see a watch complication be added for quick access.
  • No display setting for font 3/5

    By jacull
Seriously, have someone review this for accessibility. And then have some people that are mid 40s try it out. Then you’ll find that you need to add a setting to bump up font size. It should at least react to the iOS general text size setting (dynamic type). To be clear I’m not talking about customizing the font in each note, just about the overall readability.
  • Great potential to be better 2/5

    By Sujatha92
I am a Google user -- mail, calendar, drive, docs, forms, sheets -- I use it all. A lot of potential for this app that is not being developed, and in my mind all Google has to do is perform simple tweaks to better align Keep with its other apps: 1. Institute an easily visible folder system (just like drive). Tags and a limited array of colors do not cut it. Color codes should at least be automatic when you label with a certain tag. 2. Too easy to tap somewhere on the list and unintentionally edit or delete text. Add an edit button and eliminate the ability to edit just by tapping screen!!! So many times I've gone into a note to check off a box or touched the screen & ended up unintentionally altering my note. 3. Change notifications to match Calendar
  • Decent 2/5

    By Damon Mack
I love having it integrated into my Google account. I recently switched from Samsung to Apple, and I noticed this app lags constantly compared to Samsung. My phone (11) and this app are both up to date.
  • Turn off dark mode 2/5

Let me turn off dark mode in the app —
  • Change size of text? 4/5

    By Cowgirl 429
I like most things about this app especially the search and pin to top functions. I Would really like to change the text sizes. Maybe other font options as well I.e. bold, italic, strike through... possibly be able to group notes together.
  • Very good notes app 4/5

    By lovestech
I love Google Keep and have been using it for years now. I recently got an iPhone and was glad that my notes were not something I had to worry about figuring out how to transfer over, so that was a huge plus for this app. While I don’t see myself using anything else for the time being, I do have a few complaints: I don't like the fact that you can't switch the theme manually. Yes I just dark theme as the norm for my phone but I prefer certain apps to stay on light theme at all times (e.g. Twitter) and especially this being a text app (by my usage), the dark theme gets real annoying real quick. Another that I wish could be changed is the way a single note is handled. For example, for one I don't always want the image to be the first thing in the note. Also would like to be able to mix different types of notes (e.g. having a checklist inside of a paragraph). Those may sound trivial but I'm sure I'm not the only one who's had these thoughts. Keep improving an already good product!
  • buggy syncing 2/5

    By am3645
My IOS copy doesn’t sync well with my android and desktop versions. Deleted notes and checked items still show up, and it requests a manual sync that never completes. I reinstalled, and have a correct sync for now, but can I trust it?
  • Have yet to try this app 5/5

    By Nate The Great 🥰
Looks like a great app to collaborate with friends and family.
  • only thing i’ve written a review on 5/5

    By atval
i see people hating in this app but it’s great. you can use it as an extension to your google calendar on laptop and it syncs to your devices. easy simple design if you are a person who likes the ease of simplicity but productivity at the same time. i think when note apps are too complex they ruin the purpose. this is not too simple but not too complex in my opinion because there’s color coding, labeling, adding images, adding checkboxes. i love it, been using for a few months now.
  • Dark Mode Toggle 3/5

    By rickzcc
Used to love this app. But since they apply the dark mode the color looks bad. Please make toggle for turn on / off. Yeah i used the dark mode for phone but I don’t want for this app, because looks ugly in dark mode. Please bring toggle in setting.
  • Need password protection 3/5

    By Megsanj
This app is good but lacks security feature. This needs to have password protection ability
  • Ugly as hell 1/5

  • Love This App!!! 5/5

    By RoadTeam2
Just downloaded yesterday, and I’m already in love with it!!! Easy to use, easy on the eyes, and great features!!! Love how the notes arrange in a “most recent first” order. Also, love how you can move hem around.
  • Easily best for link-based lists 5/5

    By windrunner27
I’m shopping for things across websites and making a decision with my dad, I can make a note and put all the links there and Keep makes the note have tidy little previews that are east to tap and evaluate a a glance. No more sharing a word document with long links, or with or tedious to make hyperlinks. It’s nice that iMessage allows you to just view the links shared in a conversation, but Keep is better for me since we will switch topics often, and want to exclusively view all my potential - for instance: motorcycles - in one place.
  • Slow 2/5

    By Ko'ofe
Performance is not good compared to android app.
  • Buggy on iPhone 2/5

    By elorihs
This app is the biggest disappointment in Google’s collection. The app is very basic compared to its competitors, which I actually love. It worked really well on Android and syncs almost instantly with the web. But on iOS, this app is a laggy, crash-happy mess. There are so many performance issues and none of the “updates” have done anything to address them. If you’re not already incredibly reliant on this app like me, do not download it.
  • Used to love google keep app 1/5

    By ambrerose1
Just switched from a pixel to iOS and have had nothing but problems with my google keep app lagging and crashing. Still works great on my Samsung tablet and my pc but not on the iOS. I use this app daily and haven’t found another app that will work as good as this one.
  • Love it 5/5

    By Carol XR
I’ve been using this several times a day for years. I’m 80 years old and use it on all my devices. Although I know not all the features are being used by me, the usefulness I find is incomparable.
  • So close. So slow. 2/5

    By bustamove2772
The basic functionality of google keep is its brilliance. It’s so simple compared to Evernote/OneNote. So why the hell does it take 4 times as long to load anything as those apps do on iPhone? Every time I load the app and it crashes or I sit waiting for the link I click to open, I tell my self I’m done w it and moving on. Maybe one day I actually will. For now I’ll just keep reviewing it poorly and hoping the lag/ crash is fixed.
  • Unreliable notifications 2/5

    By Dec One
When I set an alert, sometimes I get a notification at the time I scheduled, and sometimes I don’t. It’s inconsistent and unpredictable.
  • Works but needs help 2/5

    By qbnza
Use both Apple note and this app for my daily needs. Google appears buggy, pin and unpinning sometimes crashes app. Like every other Google product, assume they created this then abandoned. Yea support and qa you failed.

  • good but need another option 5/5

    By Ash27kan
its very good app but i think it need one option, locking the screen. for example when i copy and paste the long text from internet and i want to read it in the app, and when i want to scroll down its went to edit text mode and make it hard for reading text and scrolling down or up.
  • V 2.2019.52101 Discards Notes created on Apple Watch 3/5

    By Between Two Parks
Text notes that I create Apple Watch do not appear on the linked iPhone. after a few minutes, such text notes disappear from Apple Watch. I think there is a synchronization bug. Apple Watch works OK as a viewer.
  • Crashes on iPad 1/5

    By Bla bla blew
The app works fine on iphone, but I can’t even open it on my iPad. This has been happening for a while now please fix
  • Keeps freezing while drawing 3/5

    By Conman lewser
I love this app, but it keeps freezing while I’m drawing/writing with the apple pen.
  • A few UX opportunities 3/5

    By JamasonJ
Overall this is a fine app for notes and checklists especially when considering the benefits of it being slotted into the Google ecosystem. However there are two UX issues that come to mind that stop me from being all that happy with it. The first is a lack of a platform standard left edge swipe gesture to return to the top level list view from an individual note. You’re relying on users to tap the upper left arrow. Not conforming to basic platform conventions makes this app stick out as being inconsistent. There must be another way to make a checklist item a “sub” item — it’s frustrating to constantly do this on accident. The second issue I see is the floating of the “add” and “more” icons at the bottom of the display when the keyboard is open. Users assume that toolbars floating above the keyboard relate to the task of typing. e.g. in the stock iOS notes app, quick actions to adjust type formatting. Instead, these icons have more to do with the overall note. The ... “more” icon would probably make more sense in the upper right next to archive. The add button might make more sense as a floating action button in the lower right, visible when the keys are hidden.
  • Love it, but needs some work. 5/5

    By Yd gxtvyhjgubgvt
I love Google Keep. It’s the only reminder app I can find that is free and I can use on my Apple Watch. I enjoy use it and use it frequently but I would love a new update. There are features that are irritating such as having checkboxes for the entire list. I like to be organized, so I need to make checkboxes. But I have to create a new note if I want to divide my checkboxes into section. Example: Say I have a grocery list. I have a list for the poultry isle and for the frozen isle. Instead of being able to list it like this: ( •
  • Good product but still buggy 4/5

    By Quinessential
I love Keep but there are still outstanding bugs that irritate me at times. - hitting the search button causes the app to crash - having two collaborators submit to the app at the same time causes the app to crash It would be great if you could add these features: - allow me to tag my keep items - bucketize or categorize things - I want to be able to bold things - I want to bullet subset of things in my notes Overall I like the concept of keep. Please KEEP it up.
  • Great app buggy on iOS 2/5

    By Maany_a
A Fantastic minimal note taking app which works flawlessly on Android, but unfortunately it's buggy and slow on IOS... Everytime I want to add a new note it stops responding for a few seconds. It also happens when searching.... totally unusable...and I'm using the iPhone 11... it's strange as Google apps work fine on IOS and in some cases even bettet than Android (Google maps). All in all, I have switched to Microsoft Onenote which is really awesome and works perfectly on evey platform...
  • Already doesn’t work 1/5

    By 🤔NotSureAboutThisGame🤔
I just downloaded this to try to share a grocery list with my family, but it won’t allow me to add collaborators.
  • Dont use on iphone 1/5

    By KTech Group
this app is not safe on iphone, all my notes of years were compromised, apparently they hacked the app even updating it in the app store, many notes appear blank and when I check the trash folder the info is complete, when you restore restore it returns and disappears the info when I check it in its original folder, I realized when I saw erratic movements of the notes constantly moving from one side to the other without stopping
  • Keep now supports Dark Mode! 5/5

    By Ben C00
Google keep now supports native iOS Dark Mode in iOS 13. I haven’t had any technical issues when syncing notes or reminders as others have stated. Now, Google just needs to add Dark Mode to Gmail and Calendar!
  • Dark mode missing 1/5

    By maxG00
Missing the dark mode, Android version has it for a long time, and it’s 2020, still missing on iOS.
  • Love the concept but needs tweaking. 😃 2/5

    By Afrogmom
We use Google keep for family notes. I don't want an email to everyone every time. A notification option would be great (banners, badges, ect.)
  • Google keep is the best. 5/5

    By T Dorsey
Don't know why the low reviews on this. This has got to be the best note taking, life taking app in the world of note taking. I keep it on the front page of my iPhone. Nothing but the most important things go on my home page. It's right there when I need it. Also on my iPad. I have been using this since launch. Now through the years I can remember when there wasn't a app so I had to create a web shortcut. That still worked great also. It's like a assistant for your life. It will even remind you of stuff. If you haven't got this try it out for a week....you will see.
  • Goods and bads. Not my goto for notes. 4/5

    By fjpoblam
Goods: *Could* obviate notes, reminders, voice memos. Can be fast. Bads: Not well cached: not as fast as before. Dark mode destroys note backgrounds palette: no bright backgrounds available. No developer support (typical). How long will it last? (Remember Google Notebooks?) Voice? Only *your* voice: not a room/meeting recorder. Image paste goes *above* title, not embedded. ——— Takeaway? I use Notability.
  • Still No Dark Mode 3/5

    By Jeff O_O
The Android version has had dark mode for a while now. Why is it not available for Apple?

I use google keep across my devises.. the one device i want to be able to use google keep for is my tablet.. i have other agenda apps that allow me to drag items to a list. Google keep just doesn’t have that feature.. i do like that it’s user friendly. Just really wish i could drag and drop on my smart devices instead of copy/paste..
  • Was my fav, what happened 1/5

    By LCLMomma1392
This was the best copy/save/clipboard/notes app out there, now for the last 6 months or so it just stopped working. I keep checking for fix but still none. Things just dont save anymore. I loved saving apps (like my own app wishlist) directoy from app store, but they wont save anymore. Just dont get it. Please fix this use to be the best.

  • Ew 2/5

Sticky colors are disgusting in dark mode and app doesn’t seem well optimized. Very sluggish. Seems like it was made worse on purpose for the iPhone version
