I’m getting notifications to select my room and to check in the night before my reservation? My reservation is for Tuesday evening and I’m getting repeated notifications my room is ready for check in on Monday evening? The date shown for my reservation in the app is correct. Had to disable all notifications for the app. Not dependable…

Pick a room did not work and digital key also did not work. I received numerous notifications regarding check in is available. Very annoying

Recently the app keeps notifying me that my room is ready, even after I have already checked in. It sends me a notification about every 5 minutes.
App usually works as it should, until recently.

Our stay started of great! Oscar was great at check in and answered the few issues we had at the time. We stayed at this hotel for 13 days. Sadly on day 10 we had some very obnoxious guests in the connecting room. They were so loud, yelling and screamer at all hours. They were smoking cigarettes and weed, which seeped through the adjoining closed door. I went to the front desk Thursday afternoon to talk with them about all of this as the smoke and weed smells made me sick to my stomach and I was trying to work. The front desk tried to contact security but got no answer, so she said she put a request in to get to the bottom of the issue and that someone would get back to me. No one ever got back to me and the issues continued. I was sick to my stomach for the remainder of my stay which I not a great way to end a working vacation. From being sick the last few days of my trip I’m trying my best to no recover that I am home.
After all of that we went to the front desk to check out on our last day and had some questions regarding then food and beverage credits we received as we got many mixed messages about how exactly they worked. The gentleman at the front desk wasn’t 100% sure about things so he called for his manager Alison, the manager on duty at the time, she was a bit snippy about the whole thing when we were trying to figure things out. Mind you there was no one in line behind us so we weren’t holding things up. She ended up just combining the amount for all of our days and took what we spent then cleared what we owed. This didn’t not help us understand how the credit worked but she seems annoyed with us so we just let it go. I asked for a copy of our invoice for our stay and she only gave me the food and beverage receipt.
Very disappointing that a stay that started of great ended so poorly. I don’t know that we would stay at this Hilton property in the future.
This stay cost over $5,000, so I would definitely expect better service and respect when needing assistance.

Very old and small TVs , no Keurig, coffee pot in the room, and cannot use phone to open door

Can’t get any further for reservations than April 3-7 2023 for Hilton Garden Inn Times Square 790 Eighth Ave . We have always gone to this particular hotel for 25 years and we can’t book anything for this year past above dates .
I find it hard to believe that only this hotel is booked for a year going into 2024 . All other Hilton hotels in the area have availability.
Something is not right with this app.

Reserved at a rate, then told me there wasn’t enough rooms. I refreshed my search and it had the same room for $30 more

I love booking through the app! It’s much easier than using a person. I can modify as needed without any problems.
I can’t understand how an app that you can’t even see reservations booked under your HH account number has such high ratings. I am NEVER able to see my reservations, or even look them up, in the app when they have absolutely been booked under the correct account. I can go to the Hilton website and see them, but not in the app. This app is a Festering. Piece. Of. Dung.

I wish we could get special app pricing some day while we use App to self check in or check out ; it saves time for both front desk and us, Hilton shall encourage us to use App more than website with special discounts.

Can’t make reservations because each time the hotels populate they say “cannot retrieve prices “. Reservations can’t be found on the app by searching confirmation numbers and the app will not let you download a digital key! Same problem reported on here years ago still happening to users!

I don’t understand why this feels the need to notify me so many times. Unrelenting spam unsolicited emails to my account constant notifications from the app to get the credit card everything to do with my room yet none of it is actually useful. I just turned off notifications on the app and now I’m being forced to login every time I open it, so what’s the point in having this thing?

Warned against trying to use “digital key” by hotel staff at a couple of hotels and after trying it anyway, I can see why. Push notifications used for annoying ads rather than legitimate functions.

I just checked out of the Hilton Porter in Portland on my way to stay at the Hilton Seattle. The process, the room, the service have all been great. I paid extra for a corner room in Portland, chose the one I wanted and have never felt so perfectly at home in a hotel before. I hope the next Hilton lives up to this.

I have VIP status with Hilton and Marriott because we use a lot of rooms for my work. Both are OK but Hilton ALWAYS takes better care of me. Properties are immaculate and the customer service is above average.

App is okay. Digital keys just have a lot of trouble connecting to their owners and also sharing is not very flexible. Could use a LOT of work since most people trying to use the digital key only had it work for a day and for some reason when a new physical key is created, the digital key no longer wants to work and gives an error. And as far as SHARING your digital key, it may work the first time or the first day, but after that you cannot share your key with anyone else and it’s absolute bollocks please get someone to fix these issues the front desk can only do so much but the digital issues are affecting the entire quality of the stay, thank you

It’s designed for making new reservations and managing reservations that have been loaded into the server database the the app uses.
It’s not very reliable for finding reservations that you have the confirmation for but don’t show up in the list. Also finding the receipt isn’t as easy as it should be.

Overall enjoyed recent 4 night stay at The Savannah Embassy Suites; however, our room, the halls on the third floor, and the lobby/bar area were all uncomfortably cold.
Other less bothersome issues were the lack of sufficient lighting in our room—no overheads, and no closet light; also the way the hot breakfast buffet items were served—the lids on the serving containers required an uncomfortably long reach to get them to stay open.
