I have called multiple times about the promotion last year. I earned a 30,000 point bonus for 60 stays and I’ve yet to see it. I’ve gotten a variety of answers that it will be done but it hasn’t yet. Frequent travelers don’t like their points messed with.

I used a digital key, and every time I tried to unlock the door, the app said my stay had completed...but the key still worked.
I very much like that I can choose my exact room and bypass the front desk.

The app has been very cool. I have done a number of neat things with it, and I’m hopeful that it will continue to be productive. My only knock is that I haven’t been able to use the digital key.

Truly convenient for the late night frequent traveler to avoid lines and request an electronic key. It would be nice to have a map of the surrounding area especially if their are beautiful views from the room.

I would not recommend this app. After downloading app and signing up for Hilton Honors, I started receiving incessant robocalls about Hilton vacation deals. Asking to be unsubscribed from their list has NOT stopped the calls. Has been going on for a year.

Not all hotels treat diamond members the same. I have never been given an upgrade on rooms, I always book for king room way ahead of time and rarely get a king room. I spend 70+ nights away from my family and ALWAYS stay at Hilton. Not all Hilton Hotels treat their diamond members kind.

It used to be very good and accurate but over the past year, it doesn’t show my reservations, or accurate past stays. When I arrive at the hotel all is fine, but the app does not show my reservation, which causes it to be unreliable when I travel at such a high rate, I need to keep a copy of my itinerary at all times which is not convenient.

Hi. Great hotel, but the bathroom pocket doors are just irritating. It is so hard to open and close. Wait... it doesn’t close😐 I mean, that is so annoying because a random person, maybe even the opposite gender could walk in while your going pee or taking a shower.

Tried to make a reservation using the Hilton Honors App for a one night stay at the Hampton Inn Middletown Delaware but when I tried to reserve the app kept redirecting me to re enter credit card info. After 3 tries it finally went through and I received my confirmation of the 1 night reservation. I use this app often enough with no problems so I thought everything was ok. Then about 2 hours latter I receive 3 emails for 3 separate reservations for the Hampton Inn Middletown for the same night. I check my cc and sure enough there are 3 charges from Hilton for the 1 night stay at the Hampton Inn Middletown Delaware. I call the 800 HiltonHonors number and get transferred to a reservations specialist who tells me her name is Faith. I explain what happened, she puts me on hold and then comes back and says she has canceled the two extra reservations. I check my Hilton Honors app and indeed there is only one reservation so I again assume everything is ok. I check my cc card to see if the 2 duplicate charges had been refunded, they had not and now the Hampton Inn has charged me directly for the 2 duplicate (canceled) reservations.
So now I have been charged 5 times for 1 reservation.
I call the 800 Hilton number again and speak this time with Cheryl. I explain the situation and she informs me she can not do anything about the Hampton Inn Middletown Delaware charges since they come from the hotel directly. She tells me she doesn’t understand while the hotel would be making a change anyway since I made the reservation through the Hilton Honors app. She tells me to call the Hampton Inn Middletown Delaware directly, which I do. The Hampton Inn tells me they will refund the 2 cancellation charges. Again I think everything is ok, but the 3 original duplicate charges by Hilton for the 1 night have not been refunded. So multiple phone calls and numerous emails, never speaking or communicating with the same person and each agent has a different story. It’s amazing that know one cares or even follows through. It’s also clear that making a Hilton Honors app reservation with one of Hilton’s many affiliates is a BIG MISTAKE.
There’s absolutely no communication and no quality of customer service.
What’s the point of being a member then?
It makes one want to delete the Hilton Honors App entirely. Oh, and I have still been charged 2 times for the one reservation. Unbelievably frustrating and disappointing.

I have always enjoyed all things Hilton and this app is no different. It really makes things easier and skirts the traditional need to make those calls to book a room.
Try the digital keys (use your phone to open your room door) when you get the chance. I highly recommend it.

Nice app, if it only let you use points. The system is conveniently out of order when you try to use them. But, if you don’t use points, it will gladly accept your reservation. Just another example of empty promises.

Every time we come here, on weekends, we book executive level room and always, always have free breakfast. We have stayed in this hotel a few times already. But today, I was told that on weekends, the executive lounge is close and that we don’t qualify for free breakfast. I said I know that the lounge is close on weekends but always still given free breakfast buffet tickets. And it has been like that all the time. I was told that they never give free breakfast. So what’s up? Very very disappointed!

I love the convenience of this app. It’s extremely helpful and has the lowest/same prices as offered on Booking.com so I don’t have to compare the two which is nice. I love the extra features the app offers. The only issue is that it glitches often, but I love it glitches and all.

Love the app. I drive all over MD, VA and DC for work and the app makes it easy to reserve and check in for my stay. I also like being able to skip the front desk and go straight to my room with the digital key and also checking out through the app.
This app allows me to book my favorite rooms in my favorite hotels on the go making travel easy. My favorite feature is the digital key.

The app works pretty well except that the Digital Key option often freezes the app after being a background app necessitating a forced closing and restart of app.
Also the displayed rates for hotels is misleading, having an option to displayed a users preferred rate when searching would be better.
Since the developers often don’t read these reviews I don’t expect these will be fixed.

I’ve been staying in Hilton properties for a few months now and I have to say hands down these hotels are awesome! The staff is very nice and hotels and rooms are spotless. I honestly recommend anyone traveling to stay in any properties they can. You won’t regret it! Thanks for such great service!

This app really makes it easy and streamlined to book rooms with points and money which is really an added value for loyal members. A great feature for patrons which I would think brings more business from competitors. Pictures and additional notes along with plenty of locations makes Hilton a great option.

No matter what the hotel might look like from the outside, I can always count on Hilton. We have been members for years and had to travel during emergent times, Hilton, or the family of hotels, has been there for us. If we experience issues, one call and everything will be resolved. We own with Hilton Grand Vacation Club and will never regret that or buy elsewhere.Having the honors and club allows us to travel all over the world getting the best values. We have made the right choice for our family.

I have forgone other hotel brands with similar offerings because of this app. No other hotel brand let’s me choose the room I want from an app at check in (at least not the other major brands I’ve had to use). Being able to pick my own room makes me very happy - and when I pick a bad one, that’s on me.
The digital key is awesome - when getting to a hotel late, I can just walk in a side door by unlocking with my phone and head to my room.
It’s a great app, I think of it as my own concierge.
I would love to see a future update that includes support for Apple Watch opening doors (admittedly, I don’t know if that’s even technically possible), that would be a killer feature for me.
I’ve seen a number of commercials about pricing. Hilton Advertises that they have the best pricing or will match anyone’s. I went on Hilton Honors app and the pricing for this property was $30 more than Travelocity and a couple other websites. I then called and ended up at a call center in El Salvador. No help there. The next time I ended up at a call center in the Philippines. No help there either. Finally I called the hotel directly and was told that there was no such pricing guarantee. I asked to speak to a manager and finally two hours after I endeavored to book a room they honored the price match. I have screenshots etc. As proof of these other offers. In reality $30 for two hours of hassling with Hilton’s designees was not worth my time.

My reservations are not saving! Every time I have to manually find using reservation number each time.
Further, Hilton’s app pales in front of Marriott’s gorgeous app design. The layout is terrible at best. App barely functions for those who booked elsewhere and wanted to add their itineraries to the app. Please hire better designers from Carnegie Mellon or Stanford to fix this. Hilton customers deserve better quality and experience.
