I’ve had this speaker for months and it still want allow me to setup my WiFi. Sprint is a dang thief for even selling me this for 70.00. I hate it.

Beautiful speaker I can’t use 1/5
Probably the most expensive paperweight I’ve ever purchased. I’ve had this speaker for almost a year, I even sent it back to HK to have it looked at, they claim they reset it. Since the day I unboxed this speaker I have not been able to use it. Will not connect to the app, can’t even use it as a Bluetooth speaker cause it needs to be set up first. Worst product, very disappointed
I had no problem connecting the speaker the first time but all of a sudden it said I was offline 🤦🏽♀️ I followed all the steps and still nothing I’m so irritated this speaker was NOT cheap
I paid almost 80$ for this useless stuff. Money wasted

App won’t connect to my harman kardon astra. It initially helped me set it up but after a bit my astra was connected and when I tried to reset using all the options it still would not connect at all!! Frustrating!! Took it back to sprint and they said that it seems like there is a problem with the Bluetooth. (On the Astra or the app??) either way it’s still not working. According to sprint I’ll have to file a warranty claim as it has at least a year warranty on it and it’s been 2weeks shy of making a year. I found the original purchase receipt and now am waiting to hear from harman Kardon... hope they honor their warranty.

Same issue as others. I have a yellow ring that seemingly even the developers didn’t know existed and the speaker will no longer work. Keeps telling me my product is unregistered but worked perfectly fine for the first few months before refusing to connect and there is nothing in the app about it being unregistered.

Purchase about 2 weeks ago downloaded this app to help with setup connects to WiFi shows connection on phone but Alexa keeps having trouble connecting to internet no way to use it with out connecting to the device very dissatisfied with this purchase
App no longer connects 2/5
I guess it was the last update 2 weeks ago, but now when I try to use the app the app it keeps telling me “Your phone doesn’t enable Wi-Fi connection”. It was working perfectly before. My Allure portable is still reachable and controlled by Alexa app, so the problem is with the app itself.

I bought this today for our store and while waiting for it to setup I read the reviews here. Let me tell you...they aren’t wrong. Got the app and then it connected immediately to the speaker, setup wireless, found update... won’t restart. Waited almost 15 minutes (not my internet because i ended up downloading another game while I waited) and nothing. I restarted the speaker and it wasn’t recognized by my phone. Entered startup again...it connected to the speaker but now it says my internet is down. Powered down again and now my phone couldn’t find the device. So now I am sitting here 30 minutes before people are coming to see the store for the first time and I don’t have music. Good job HK

Purchased from sprint a few months ago came home connected and everything worked great. Fast forward to last night stopped working and won’t connect waste of money now! Really disappointed
Can’t sign in to Amazon 1/5
Worked with my HK Allure for a couple weeks until the message; “having trouble connecting to the internet”. Tried to reconfigure but can’t get passed the step to sign into Amazon, with message “login timeout”.
(Signing into Amazon through web works instantly).
I have tried going back to setup mode, tried going back to factory reset, deleted and reinstalled the app. Nothing works, can’t get passed the step to sign into Amazon, with message “login timeout”. Please help.

returning product to Sprint speakwr will not link to amazon to register product to use along with Alexa. After the speaker is connected to the internet the screen will return a connection failed message. not worth the effort
Simple App 5/5
Bought the HK Allure from Prime Day. Easy connection with newest update version of the app. However, it is just a simple app that you only use it for turning the light on/off. An EQ function or others are highly recommended to improve.
This app will not connect with my WiFi. Very poor instructions on directions included with speakers. Back to Srint Store for a refund ?

It’s all around a good app but it just won’t let me access the home part of it because its not even there. Someone please help me with this

This app is quite basic. It would be great to be able to control bass, mid and treble to adjust for music styles. An EQ function would be great.

So I got the speakers today from my sprint store. I really enjoyed the sound. However. Following the application instructions is simple however, once it tells me the Internet is connected and the speakers have been paired it gives me a connection failure even though I see it connected. And for some reason the volume keeps getting louder and softer. How can I get help.

The sound of this speaker is great but if you are buying it for the Alexa connection that it has look somewhere else. It will not connect to any other smart devices in the house. Meaning you are getting a lesser version of Alexa. This needs to be fixed before I would consider giving it a better review. Wouldn’t recommend purchase.

My Harman Kardon Astra connected when I purchased in September. It did well for one month and went offline. I returned to this appl to connect it again and it will not reconnect. Tried many days and hours. Im going to return this expensive piece of equipment back to the sprint store. Appl nor equipment works

This is an edit to my original review. It looks like the folks at Harmon Kardon / Alexa read the reviews (which I originally gave them one star for and now five), and fixed the problem with other reviewers connecting their Harmon Kardon Astra speaker. They actually provided more in depth instructions in how to connect the Astra to Wi-Fi. Finally. Thank you.

Same problem - app won’t discover device 1/5
Just purchased HK Astra from Sprint store... downloaded app and upon immediate and first attempt to set up device there is NO SPINNING WHITE LIGHT RING as the instructions indicate there should be. Pressing reset and the mic button as the instructions indicated to reset WiFi for setup also has NO EFFECT whatsoever. App won’t discover device. 10/14/2018 unsure if device is defective but will be returning it tomorrow.
