It’s not good anymore. Now, not only do they take your money, book you at hotels that are full, send you to hotels that are overbooked, never contact you about their failure, lie to you on the phone — but they will keep your money for 5 days illegally with services not rendered before a refund due to their failures. Terrible business ethics and service. Don’t waste your time with this App. It’s not good anymore. The prices at also not cheaper than anywhere. Other apps are way better and have better customer service.

$176 of junk fees were not mentioned at booking but showed up in confirmation. So the knew but chose not to disclose. Super disappointed. Do not use or you might get hit with fees later.

I have used this app only in NYC and it has worked amazing for me. I have saved sooooo much money on hotels. Most of the hotels I’ve stayed in they put me in a better room than I expected (higher floor, bigger room).
Also would like to add I book the hotel the day of. I’m not sure if that’s a difference on the discount or not.

Wasn’t there but 2 hours bunch of kids smoking pot in there room going in and out hallway smelled bad on the second floor not far from reception desk wouldn’t recommend staying here.

I just want to say that it was a late night and that we’re grateful to have a place to stay.
But this place should be condemned. The lobby was grimy and all the doors down the hall looked like a swat team had been on a visit. And then when you opened the door of our room ,,, the smell . Smoke and sweat. Curtains torn . Rusted out door frame in bathroom and two shop towels for the two of us.. I could go on but again .. we had to sleep somewhere.

Got to the hotel they wanted 300 more dollars at the desk besides what I had already paid on the app so I walked out canceled everything and never got refunded because I guess everything was confirmed do not recommended “hidden fees”

I am status at several hotel chains. The rates I get here are cheaper than the hotel website. I have only had one problem and it was the hotel not the app fault. The app Svc team worked promptly to resolve the issue. This is great!! Also - if ur adventurous- I have found some very chic and eclectic inns on this app that I’m not sure I would have found otherwise. Have also used in Mexico. Just love this app!! And No - they didn’t pay me to say it. Try it- you won’t be disappointed.

I’ve been using this app for about 3/4 years. I travel twice a year, and use it for all long distance and local hotel stays. The more you level up the more of a discount you get off of your taxes and fees. I’m currently a level 5 and save about $20-30 every time I book.

I have been using HT for quite a few years now and the few times I’ve had issues with hotel (over booking) or even my error HT has gone above and beyond to help me with my issue. They have gotten me full refunds when the hotel screws up. At a level 7 perk level and it seems they do continue to get less expensive the higher I go.

If I could tap 0 stars I would have but not an option (go figure) . There is times when emergency matters happen that are out of your control delays, death in the family etc . HOTELS TONIGHT DO NOT CARE. They will ask you for proof of death certificate before they are willing to do anything. They are sharks, thief’s, inhumane!!!

I booked one hotel room, requested it to be cancelled. I was told it was cancelled by both hotel tonight staff and the front desk staff of the Homewood Suites by Hilton Nashville. They lied. Committed fraud. Never cancelled the booking. Charged me for the room. Stay away from this scam.

I’ve been a loyal user since 2015 and I’ve been completely disappointed by the the apps downward spiral of what they see as quality on quite a few places over the last two years!
I clearly understand the concept is now just a sellout to whoever pays them to be represented with no regard to one the apps original mission was once. Be careful!! Some places are simply a rip off to stay in and unsafe!

I had been a loyal user of this app since its inception. My rating on the app said I was in the top 5% of all customers in the United States. After many years of honoring them with my business, even though their prices are not much better, or the same as booking directly with the hotels, I made a mistake around a reservation in the heat of a family emergency. My booking was off by one night, I realized it very quickly, and I called and they would make no exceptions so I am out that money. But they are out a customer. These tech companies that have no soul need to reevaluate the concept of customer service.

After having an account since 2012 and 22 stays and being at level 4 of perks - I opened the app which I was not yet signed into my account and viewed prices for hotels in Bergen county. Then I signed into my account and all the prices for the exact same hotels were the same. How does that make sense? What perks am I receiving? I would rather just pay the hotels directly. No longer using this app. Just got off the phone with customer service to ask the, why the price is the same before and after logging in and for 35 minutes had a clueless rep lie, make up stuff, then tell me that the hotels I was referring to were unavailable even though I was looking at them and they were very much available. On top of that - I was checking prices on this app and comparing to the rates of the actual hotels and it turns out that it is cheaper to pay the hotel directly! I don’t understand how this app has. 4.9 rating when all I see is a bunch of one star ratings but I am not using this garbage app ever again. They clearly became a scam app. When I first started using it , it seemed to be useful and now they are literally just scamming. And the perks levels is a bunch of bull. No matter how many hotels you book through this app - your prices are going to be the same as anyone else’s

It’s a poor business model to conduct dynamic pricing in this vertical.
I can sit next to a friend and we get different prices for the same hotel, same dates. Also, expiration of the daily drop is too short. If it’s a place I’m not familiar with I, like many others will want to research it a bit.

This is a great app for a number of reasons not the least of which many of the hidden fees that seem to pop up all the time related to booking a hotel don’t get in the way with this app. Their curated choices are always at minimum a decent stay and quite often or wonderful and the experience on the app is great and there is a tiny bit of game of Acacian related to the daily specials, which is enjoyable as well.
