Fix Your Interface 1/5
Your interface is NOT user friendly. Why would making the screen shades darker help one find the scene they are looking for?? Or why do I have to go through an ordeal of finding a scene when the shade on the screen decides to linger too long and I can’t see ANYTHING. I pay more for this streaming service than Netflix and Netflix’s app is much more user friendly, along with HBO AND YOUTUBE. Sometimes aesthetics doesn’t have to be first. Please, fix it! This is supposed to help my frustrations subside and it certainly does not!
Can somebody help me how to unsubscribe this??? I didnt even use it even once for Christ sake....
After I canceled my membership due to not being able to hook up my HDMI cord to watch it on TV. I have a Apple phone so I’m not sure if it’s just with them, but I recently signed BACK up and now I’m going to cancel again.! Fix this PLEASE.!!!
It’s such a bad app. I’m going back to cable for awhile. I can’t be in my right mind and keep Hulu Live. It isn’t functional, it’s buggy and isn’t user friendly. And tons of negative reviews haven’t inspired them to fix it. That’s crazy to me.

I’ve been trying to cancel my account since February of 2018 and every time I go to my account it says I haven’t even started my free trial. I’ve been getting charged since February and I’ve tried finding help but there have been no available resources

Won’t connect to internet 1/5
I recently started using Hulu and I downloaded the app and it won’t load. It says it can’t connect to my internet connection yet all the other apps on my phone have no problem connecting. Very frustrating!

App is crap, had no problem logging on to the website to cancel my subscription though.
Whoever’s great idea it was to change the ff and rw controls is stupid. It’s so annoying and irritating! I wonder how this idea was passed in the first time. Totally canceling my subscription. Not worth my time anymore.

Recent update is annoying ... 2/5
I like to enjoy the content on Hulu but the most recent update wants me to log in so frequently that it’s becoming quite annoying. I would give 5 stars just to get the old version back.
False Advertising 1/5
So i go on the web to check how i can stream live NBA. It states, watch golden state live on hulu. So i am like, download the app, then of course since its $7.99 a month with first month free, why not. Go through the sign up, etc, for within the app, knowing there is a game on, "NO GAMES SCHEDULED FOR TONIGHT"-
What a rip off, at least be up front and not advertise what is not true.

Most of the time, the app will not load the icon to access my Chromecast devices. Not a problem with other apps, just this one...

Since the new iPad update I can no longer pop out the video on my iPad easy. It takes several tries. Once a show is over it closes the window and plays the next show in the background. It’s super frustrating.

Wow, this app is the worst! All your users want is to easily track shows they are watching and easily access new episodes. Please make this easier! It’s so difficult to navigate this app and I can’t begin to comprehend why it’s so wildly different from your TV app (which I think is great). Please fix this app! You are better than this!

Ever since the update I will randomly lose sound from whatever I am watching. At first I thought it was my phone, but it’s fine with all other apps.
Worst Interface Ever 1/5
The work that goes into trying to watch television or movies on Hulu isn’t worth the effort it takes to use it. It constantly is having glitches or is interpreting the slightest breath as meaning you want to restart from the very beginning again, thus reliving all the same 2 min long commercials. Don’t waste your time.

Please remove that thing with touchscreens where the video jumps to wherever your cat walked across your screen after knocking over your iPad! Please! It’s so irritating!
I like everything BUT that!
With the Netflix app I can cast to my PS3 so easily. The cast button won’t even appear with this app. I read online that I might need to download the chromecast app and that app told me to downlod Google Home. And IT STILL DIDN’T WORK. Dumb. Needlessly complicated.

I’m tired of trusting a company that doesn’t give a rats about these reviews. HDMI Lighting adaptor doesn’t work, sometimes will go black screened but continue the audio, sometimes plays videos but no audio, will log me out randomly, fast forward and rewind functionality is still a failure, doesn’t stay up-to-date with shows. Hulu has officially locked its box of cares for its app and purpose and has thrown it into the abyss of mediocrity.

The FF/RW function is awful. Just awful. Three times in the last 24 hours, I've accidentally skipped 10 minutes ahead while trying to pause the video. Then I have to watch lots of ads, then more ads when I rewind to where I was before.
Also, I don’t know if I’ll ever get used to how the content is organized. Where is the “continue watching”? I can’t find it.
Why so many advertisements if I’m paying for a subscription why is there so many advertisements it’s so annoying

Since the update the app is awful. Every time I open the app after closing it, I am logged out.... I am forced to CONSTANTLY log in to my account in all my devices.
It is tedious work and frustrating.

I love the app it’s self but it takes forever to load sometimes it doesn’t even load with internet, the ads are way to much you shouldn’t have that much ads in this Facebook doesn’t even have that many ads I watched a movie once and I literally counted 22 ads? How are we supposed to enjoy watching a movie like that?

Seriously Hulu this rewind fast-forward feature is pretty cool when it works, however the sensitivity on that thing is so freaking high it jumps me two the second half of a show with one simple tap, and look at that I just spoiled the episode or I am stuck on a ad. Please fix this.

And its only the ios app. I cant understand how they cant get it right.
And that swipe to fast forward or rewind gimmick is a joke! I try to pause and it skips to the middle of the show. It ruins watching tv on ios devices

Hulu’s cool, alright. The app isn’t. What made you think this current UI was a good idea. I would merely wipe my phone screen to get some dust off and it would skip the whole episode, accompanied by a set of ads. Come on. This is dumb. Please fix.

Hulu is nice to watch shows and movies in the library but I got the app for live TV. The “guide” to look for live channels is a weird layout and when I do pick a channel it will loop sometimes like it’s a broken record.

Day three in a row of this app working one minute and then not the next. If this app were free I would not be complaining but paying a subscription for something that is now not working more than it is working has me p’d off. Fix it!
Update: I’m having to constantly sign into Hulu now after all updates have been installed now. It’s a pain to be watching a show, check something else on my phone and then have to log back into the Hulu app to finish watching the rest of the show.
I hate that it has too much ads not even worth paying for it. Netflix keeps on being #1

Where do I even begin? The user interface is not intuitive at all. Even finding shows I just watched a week ago is an exercise in frustration. Poor search feature, poor user recommendations and poor layout overall. Now let’s get to how buggy it is. Half the time I open the app a show won’t load properly, even after closing out and reopening the app numerous times. When the show does work, the same Ads run 4 times in a row, then it will restart a previous segment of the show I’ve already just watched! Everyone I know is complaining about the same things, yet each new update fails to address the issue. Terrible terrible app. Will not be renewing when subscription ends soon.

Yes, I love Hulu it gives me a subbed and dubbed version of all my anime’s but what I absolutely HATE is the fact that only two people can get on it at a time bc me (anime) my mom (cooking/fashion shows) AND MY DAD (cartoons) all watch Hulu and usually at the same time meaning my mom usually can’t watch her shows because of me and my dad. PLEASE FIX THIS HULU
