Can't get into my account very displeased 2/5
I can't get into my account because the password was changed I am trying to change the password back currently and I've treated to send about 6 emails to my email to reset my account password and Absolutely none of them have been sent back to me with a way to get into my account It is starting to get very frustrating especially since I'm paying yall to help me with the issues I need fixed and I'm getting zero help

Hulu has always been good to me, amazing show selection, but recently the app has been extremely glitchy on both my phone and my apple tv. My password doesn’t work on the apple tv even though i’m beyond certain it’s the right one, and half the time when i open the app on my phone it loads forever. when this happens I try exiting and reopening the app which sometimes helps, but many times i’m stuck doing that over and over til it finally works. Then when i want to open on my tv ( I airplay since the app doesn’t work on it) the audio works 1 out of 4 tries. It’s genuinely annoying and it’s hard to enjoy the shows i watch because of how difficult it is to even stream a show.

you’d think Hulu would allow you to screenshot/take short screen recordings to help gain viewers, but apparently someone 50+ years old is running this corporation. so many media apps allow the paying user to take a screenshot, which often becomes popular on the internet and increases subscribers, but Hulu has decided we don’t pay enough.

Please fix audio on app. No other streaming service does this. The audio does not work on my iPad and it used to several months ago prior to the iPad update. This has been an issue for several months. This needs to be rectified.

Audio gone again 1/5
I’ve gone five months without audio on my iPad and Hulu took their sweet time to fix it. No compensation whatsoever for not being able to use Hulu on iOS for all those months. Finally the app gets an update a few days or so ago and the audio was back!! Today, the audio is gone again. How is that even possible!? You either fixed it or you didn’t. When I try restarting the app, the shows will not even play anymore. I just get error messages. Hulu is absolutely the worst streaming app out there. I’ve never had these issues with Netflix or Amazon Prime. It’s just ridiculous that a billion dollar company cares so little about customer satisfaction. I’m done, I feel like I’m being trolled now. I want my money back for the last 4 months that I’ve paid for an unusable app. Just noticed that Hulu has now resorted to writing fake reviews to give themselves 5 stars on here to combat all the bad reviews. How about you guys just fix your app instead…. Ridiculous. Lol

Constantly unable to play movies and shows, crash (stops playing) in the middle of shows. You would think for a streaming service costing what it does that their app would function better. Have uninstalled and reinstalled several times without remedy. This happens all the time on iPad and often on iPhone.
Not working on iPad 1/5
Won’t work on my iPad. iOS is up to date, app is up to date. All it does is spin the wheel trying to load and nothing happens. All my other apps work fine on my iPad. Not happy.

I wanted to email Hulu first before writing this review. I would have really preferred to write to them first; however, that is not an option. I use closed captions for a couple of reasons: poor sound quality or just can’t hear.
EVERY TIME I close what I am watching I have to repeatedly turn on closed captions in settings again. This is FRUSTRATING! I am using other streaming services and once you enable captions, it remains until you turn them off.
Hulu: please correct and I will be more than happy to increase my rating.

Hulu is a good app overall but on some of the shows I watched it didn’t show all of the episodes to it

Oh did u miss something in ur favorite tv show right after the commercials, just take it back 10 seconds, no u have to watch 1 1/2 minutes of ads, miss it again ok watch more ads, oh ur frustrated close the app after watching the ads. You go back to that show later to watch and have to watch another commercial break just to start where u left off. It’s now been 4 1/2 minutes of ads u have watched just for one section of the show I wanted to replay. Please fix this.
Offline streaming doesn’t work 3/5
What’s the point of downloading content when you still need internet to stream? I download content on my Netflix and watch offline all the time, but for some reason I can’t do that with Hulu. If I can’t watch it offline, again, what’s the point?

2022 is almost gone and Hulu app still hangs 1/5
Ignoring the disaster of a UX design the Hulu apps are on any platform, I can’t believe that the streaming of videos on iPad still hangs after every 30 seconds.
Note to Devs: just download any other streaming app and see how well they have designed their apps like Netflix, Disney+, not you Prime Video, Peacock and even Paramount+. Copy that stuff. You don’t have to do your own little thing.

okay so today on tiktok i saw this video of station 19 so I downloaded this app to watch it. I have watched like 3 episodes and literally like EVERY 2 minutes i have to watch an add its so annoying and i got done with an add then i went back a little and it made ME WATCH ANOTHER ADD! hate this so much.😡

Hulu has a lot of fake five star reviews. Go down to most recent and you’ll see a bunch of them say good with five stars. Makes no sense. Now for the issues I’m having. I’ve had this app awhile on my TV and iPhone. There are so many issues with the iPhone app and the TV app. They do not sync for deleting programs. The reason this is so important is Hulu on my TV and iPhone will not delete programs I recorded and watched. So every time I go back into Hulu I have to delete a minimum of 10 programs, which takes a lot of battery power from my Roku remote. Ever since the update none of my watched programs will stay deleted once deleted. It’s a constant ordeal. Why does it now state programs will stay for nine months? Who’s bright idea was that? I record a number of shows, watch them, then want them gone. Doesn’t happen. I’ve called a few times, researched on the blog, which there are tons of complaints, to no avail. This is the worst programming software and customer service I’ve ever had to deal with. I pay quite a bit each month but the customer service doesn’t matter just the revenue. Please fix these horrible issues.

The overall experience using the app is horrid. The use of the app is hard and you need to make it easier for users to use; like putting it in full view rewinding, update subtitles (slow) basically HIRE a new technician to update this app

Sound issue on mobile app 2/5
On multiple iPads and several phones, Hulu has audio issues to where we are lucky to have sound 25% of the time. We have called multiple times and followed every suggestion. They have told us each time that they know there is a problem with the app. We pay for the full package and should be able to use it when we want without issues. If you are using it on something other than a smart tv or Roku, don’t waste your money. Also, the favorites doesn’t update correctly half the time.
I am so mad that I pay every month, for bugs, adds and many more. The bugs are horrible my tv show just jumps and jumps it’s horrible!

Okay so I use this app to watch on piece and there is only 11 seasons we need one more pls pls pls it doesn’t complete the series and add the movies too over all that it’s a good app also there is so many adds it’s annoying too when I’m in the middle of watching one piece I get interrupted by adds and it’s like 2 minutes and I want to scream.

I got a charge for 70+ dollars. Last time I was charged was a tad more than $60..maybe $65 at the most. I subscribed to Disney+ for $3 but y’all have been taking payment out every month. So, tell me..why am I being charged more with no notification? And why is my account “locked” because you a*sholes have decided to charge more with no notification? Ready to cancel if I can’t rely on a steady charge. That’s what subscriptions are. You know how much you’re going to be charged every year/month and can prepare with the proper amount of money in your account. Not charging someone more when you feel like it. On the weekend. When no banks are open.

So I’m not usually traveling much but I did decide to come to Italy and I downloaded 6 episodes of a show and I know they finished downloading but when I go into the Hulu app it just says sorry Hulu unavailable in your location like sheesh bro I can’t even watch shows I downloaded onto my phone just because Hulu isn’t available in Italy like it straight up deleted the episodes from downloads and said sorry can’t play show because it’s not downloaded

The amount of ads I have to watch to get through one episode of attack on Titian is insane. Four ads per episode. I wish I could watch the whole thing on Netflix without any adds but it only has one season. Other than the ads it’s a pretty good app to watch tv on.

I really like the content available but the service is very glitchy. Sometimes the sound doesn’t sync with people’s lips. I can get past that honestly. What really bothers me is that shows rarely keep their spot after I am done watching them. In the dvr service, the shows I record almost always go back to the beginning when I try to resume playing them later. This also happens regularly with other shows I stream. It seems like a very basic requirement for a streaming service to be able to keep your spot in a show. This really needs to be fixed.
