Fantastic App 5/5
This is a great app. Yes, it doesn’t have SmartStrike on the app. This feature is only half useful anyway on Sonar units. You have to not attention to much more than just pink blobs to catch good fish. So it wouldn’t help at all to have it sitting on the couch.
Having LakeMaster apps on the iPhone and iPad are great. Being able to study an area or section of a lake while not wasting time while you’re on the water is just plain awesome. It makes for quicker plans once you start fishing. I will make 2 or 3 planned routes, upload them, and see what’s working when on the water.
The lakes are not over priced for what you get.
I would like to see the ability to upload your AutoChart love data so you can ya e even more detail to run through.
Overall, it’s a great app.
Not recommended 1/5
If you buy HD maps through the app and later try to add “layers” using Humminbird ChartSelect, the two platforms don’t recognize each other. H’bird told me to get enhanced layers I’d have to repurchase the HD maps I already paid $30 for. What a rip off. I’ve been a Humminbird customer for over 30 years and have spent well over $15K and this is very disappointing.
Has some bugs 3/5
I downloaded the app about a week ago, purchased 2 local lakes and they never showed up. Went onto chart selects website and purchased through there @ $24.99 a piece. But you get smartstike with it. They came right over to my iPhone/iPad after that. Then had to call to get a refund through iTunes for the 2 $9.99 charges. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE incorporate smart strike through this app. Would be worth its 100%
In app maps 3/5
Purchased a $30 map and it won’t come up. Received receipt showing purchase. Nothing shows in the app under purchased maps, not even if I restart or go to “restore purchases”
Limited Access to ChartSelect 3/5
Lakemaster purchase works well, but missing the ability to also download Smartstrike features as well.
Navionics is FREE 1/5
The app that navionics has is free. They should provide free maps, and if you want HD map then $1.99
Cant transfer maps like it says you can 1/5
Tap transfer map to my helix and the app closes. Wasted $10
Don't waste your money 2/5

First of all lake guntersville is totally in Alabama not Tennessee. But my real issue is the resolution of the contour lines. It is terrible. I thought might be because of display screen of iphone. So downloaded to sd card and installed on my helix 10. Same issue.
Buy navionics it great!
They don’t make it easy to move saved waypoints in app to an sd card, 1 point at a time.and if you have another device you can’t link an account so your waypoints show up on both devices(iphone-tablet) its all doable just very not easy. Also you can’t go to a waypoint in the list click on it and have option to view in map. Its all great ideas just not as user friendly as it should be. My next fit is goto be chart select downloaded a lake map now to get it so i can use on my units. More beer I guess
Very handy! 5/5
The Humminbird FishSmart app is very handy. Combine LakeMaster charts via Humminbird Chart Select for top shelf detail on your smart phone.
Why isn’t SmartStrike implemented 1/5
It has shocked me that Humminbird hasn’t made an app for SmartStrike. It seems to me like this would be a game changer. An app that aids in finding fish that can be backed up by being constantly online and in the hands of everyone? No brainer.
Best mobile Lake Map on the Market 5/5
I'm highly impressed by this app.
I've tried Navionics and Fishidy mobile Apps and neither are accurate for the primary lake that I fish. I didn't want to pay $150 for the lake master ContourElite computer software.
This app allows for the purchase of lakes for $9.99-$15.00 for individual lakes, which is MUCH better than $150. I had no problem buying 1 lake.
And the map is awesome! Matches the real-life depths I've marked on my sonar mug more accurately than other maps. Very fun to see what the bottom of the lake "really" looks like.
HD Lake Master maps on my phone and tablet 5/5
By JC ProAngler
The app is free which is awesome and it gives you satellite imagery of any lake you want to see. The in app purchase of an HD lake is easy and then gives you all the features just like the Humminbird units. Depth highlight, shallow water highlight, water level offset, make waypoints and routes. I use this app on my iPad so I can study lakes and plan trips from my couch. Also take the iPad on the boat and use the app to run the waypoints I made. Favorite feature is the quick ability to hide or show the HD map layers. Use the satellite imagery as the overlay then slide the circle at the lower right of the screen and see things others miss on the imagery.
Works great so far! 5/5

Bought this Chart Select map online for my Humminbird 998. Works great on my fish finder and pulled up on this app after logging into my account. I've added several waypoints and Routes. Download and read the manual to learn how to share, import, and export waypoints, routes, and tracks. I haven't done this part yet though. Great backup if something goes wrong.

Works great on Sakakawea for ice fishing! Spot on mapping.
Add the smartstrike 2/5
If you add the smart strike to be accessed on the phone it would be a lot better, then you could really plan a trip.
Must pay $10-20 PER LAKE 1/5
What a joke! C'mon Humminbird I'm a fan for life, but this app is a scam!!! No way am I paying $10-20 PER LAKE! DO NOT waste your time downloading this app
No Devils Lake? 1/5
I'm a big time humminbird supporter and use many of their products all year long, but this app needs work. Can't believe there is no Devils Lake, ND.
Looks nice but can't use it 2/5
It will not let me purchase a lake even though I have enough money for it!!!
Incorrect map 1/5
By darth runner
I purchased a map of five island lake. The contours are incorrect.
Good app 3/5
$10 a lake HA! Good maps tho, but over priced. A lot of lakes missing and wish it had more options that the humminbird depth finders have now adays like the H7 and H9
Free app???? 1/5
Sure it's a free app but each lake costs at least $10 some $29. There is other map apps for way cheaper. Love lakemaster maps, but not at that price. Why can't I upload the chip data I purchase? Be a good selling my point for the chips if you get to use the app also
No Lake of the Woods in MN?....? 1/5
One of the best Lakes in the USA and no map? This app isn't going to cut it for me.
Second to none 5/5
For years I've used the lake maps app by Navionics...until now. While the price seems more affordable for the amount of lakes you get, it isn't always accurate, not nearly as detailed, and now there's a yearly subscription fee. This Humminbird app is far more user friendly as and much more powerful. The lake map that I just downloaded seems to be ten times more detailed than when viewing it through Navionics app. The level of detail is astonishing. If you are serious about fishing and the accuracy of your lake maps, don't mess around with any other app. Download this and buy maps to your favorite lakes. You'll be much happier in the long run.
